This hotel is conveniently situated for the tow centre. Staff are very courteous and efficient. The hotel is very clean and well furnished

We had the best stay at hotel maritime! All of the staff were incredibly nice and helped us with any questions we had. The room was spacious, clean, and smelled amazing! Also, the biggest perk was that this hotel is within walking distance of some of the cities greatest sights like Nyhavn. The closest metro station was about a 5 minute walk away as well. The area the hotel is in was super safe and I always felt at ease walking around (even at night). If you are considering Copenhagen, consider Hotel Maritime!

Great location

Nicely designed boutique hotel in a great location for Nyhavn and canals. Common space was comfortable and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The only glitch was the dark wallpaper in the room would show stains in certain light. Also, there was a pair of underwear behind a chair in our room.

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from Nyhavn. Check in is at 3pm but they were kind enough to let you drop off your luggage early. There are no amenities in the room (fridge, microwave coffee maker, TV) and the walls are thin so you hear everything. The drain in my shower was slow so it collected dirt which was disgusting as they don't clean your rooms everyday. They also turn off the elevators from midnight to 7am, so if you have an early flight in the morning, and depending on what floor your room is on, be prepared to struggle down flights of stairs with your heavy luggage. It is convenient though in some measures. It's a 20 minute cab ride from the airport. I personally wouldn't recommend the hotel if comfort is important to you.

Great location in a very walkable neighborhood and close to public transportation. Love the chic little bar area and rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Good location, nice room

Only a couple blocks from the Metro station, 1 minute walk to the water, food and shopping all super close. Room is small with the essentials, things I prefer. Clean room, good view, check in staff was super friendly with check-in.

We were there for only a 15 hour layover. Easy metro ride and short walk to the hotel. Nice and clean, perfect for what we needed.

Great location. Small single room but reasonable.

Amazing location and felt safe as a solo traveller. No room service for the stay amd the lifts stop working between midnight and 7am so be aware if this is an issue for you. The staff were pleasant and the lounge area was lovely. Was good for what i wanted and at a good price but the solo room is practical and ifyou arent staying inside much then it does the job!

A cute hotel in a great location. We stayed for 6 nights. Overall it was good. We had to empty our trash which I don’t mind but the outside garbage can was always full. I’m not sure if someone should have cleaned the room during our stay but the didn’t. We had to keep asking for clean towels and also a new roll of toilet paper.

Very good value and comfortable accommodation

There was building work going on across the street when I was there - Danish workies start early! - which was a bit annoying but overall, the hotel is fine. It's pretty basic, but if you're doing is sleeping there, then it's fine. Very well located, and the staff are lovely.

The hotel is in a quiet area away from the high traffic area. The facility is nice and clean. The elevator only handles one person, so using the stairs is much faster. The room is quite tiny and the bed is a bit hard, but for the price I paid it seems suitable.

Lovely stay at an unbelievable price in a beautiful city

It’s a two star hotel, not 3 star as it is, no TV, very small, only shower available in a very small space. Elevator not running at 7am

Maritime offers a great room with comfortable beds. Bicycles for rent at a fair price. The bar/restaurant was perfect. Staff were excellent and the place was clean.

Perfectly Fine Good Location great for Solo travel

It was fine. Good location, 8-ish minute walk to metro stop but could reach most things by foot in about 10/15 minutes around Nyhavn. Heavy on the maritime vibe for the rooms. Definitely closer to hostel than to hotel which works find for some people like me, on a solo trip that I wanted to extend by a few more says. I’m 28, frequently travel for work and vacation, usually stay in a bigger brand like Marriott Bonvoy properties or hiltons, or Airbnbs to give a sense of perspective. Wouldn’t be sure if I’d chose this hotel if I was traveling with a small/younger family or older relatives.

Really enjoyed my stay, it was clean and quiet which was nice after a day of being out and about in the city centre

Everything was fine, especially the girl from reception. She was super nice and very friendly🌸

Lovely City Hotel

Wonderful little hotel in the city and perfect for a short break. I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights so we could explore the city. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Nyhavn and you can easily walk to other land marks in the city. If walking isn't really your thing the hotel is also within easy walking distance of a few metro stations. The room itself was small but ideal for a place to rest your head. When we first arrived we did only have 1 towel and no handwash but a quick trip to reception and everything was sorted in a timely manner. The hotel was also tidy and well kept throughout. We didn't visit the bar area within the hotel but it looked lovely from what we saw and drinks were a prices fairly.

A good base to explore the city

This hotel was ideal for what I needed. It was really central and easy to get to all areas of the city. The hotel had a lovely smell from the diffusers scattered around. The room was small but that was as expected from photos. Did seem odd to have a single duvet on a double bed though and I would have appreciated a double duvet and some extra pillows. As others have mentioned there is nothing else in the room such as tv or kettle but this is clear on the website. The room was lovely and warm and the bathroom was in good condition. Whilst initially it looked really clean there was obvious areas of dust noticeable. I didn't visit the bar or have breakfast. I had very little interaction with staff apart from the initial check in which was quick and easy, every other time I passed reception there was no one there. Overall I'd say this was a good base to explore the city if you didn't plan on being in the hotel much.

We had the Penthouse and the room was phenomenal and clean. The outside balcony was a great place to get some nice photos of the canal and street. The tv and couch were completely comfortable and easy to use. We had a wine fridge that we used for sodas and other drinks. The staff was so amazing and nice. They help us with everything that we needed and asked for. Next time I come to Copenhagen, I plan on booking with the Hotel Maritime.

Comfortable and clean enough hotel. No TV in the room and some road noise/noise of people on the street outside. Not too bad and quite central to Nyhavn

Rooms were missing the basic amenities. The elevator didn't work for hours and I had to climb the stairs with my bad knee unto 4th floor. The elevator only holds one person at a time and is out of service from 12am to 7am.

Perfect hotel for sightseeing, close to lots of attraction and places to visit. The hotel is clean and had friendly helpful staff. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable.

The elevator stopped working at 10 pm! We had to carry our luggage’s up to the 4th floor! No one was at the reception when they were supposed to leave at 12 midnight. The room looks like a prison, only one small blanket for a queen bed? The size of the blanket was for a single bed! No TV no kettle or any space for your luggage in the room, take your money elsewhere and pay extra for better quality rooms!

Disappointing hotel, extremely small room, no TV Etc. Bathroom OK.

Location was perfect. Centre to most must-see sights. Convenient on metro lines. New years eve and new year day services not always available. Breakfast and bar service were sparce. But great when available.

Room for one is very small, no TV, no coffee maker. Good location and good price.

Lovely place although could do with a tv in the room

Average, but decent location

Good location. But a few negatives. No television, which is highly unusual, as we are regular world travellers. Room was next to a busy elevator lift, which was noisy which constantly creaked loudly. Outside, building directly opposite was under major renovation, causing a loud noise disturbance. The shower is limited in strength, a slow shower effect. The bed pillows are small cushions, reducing the comfort of sleep. Overall, will not be returning to the hotel

Excellent location. Everything - cafes, Nyhavn, Tivoli all within walking distance. Lovely staff and breakfast was great..

The room was spotlessly clean and ideal for our needs: a clean, comfortable en-suite room. The beds were comfy. Only downside was the bathroom and bedroom windows were draughty. The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful or welcoming.

Wi-fi didn’t work

Location was good, room clean, but heater was not very strong so room stayed slightly cold. The wi-fi was terrible. If you require wi-fi that is a reason not to stay here. It kept dropping every 10min and you need to re establish a connection. It was very annoying and lots of rebuffering took place.

Wonderful stay

I visited with 3 friends for a 60th birthday of one of them. Chanella and her staff were so geat and kind to us. I would definitely recommend a stay for the convenient location, comfort and friendliness of staff.

Great value for money and location.

So pleased with our stay at Hotel Maritime. Very welcoming and cosy. Nothing too much trouble for staff. All very helpful and friendly. Room was basic but comfortable. Toiletries good quality as was food and drinks. No kettle in room but bar happy to give cups of boiled water to make tea. Bathroom spacious and spotlessly clean but basic. Location excellent for exploring Copenhagen. Not too far from anywhere. Short walk to Metro. Great value for money. Can't wait to return.

Location location and one more time great location!!! Walkable to everything. Subway is 5 min walk. Hotel is average , extremely small rooms. If you are a big person, you won’t have enough room to take a comfortable shower. If you like luxury, you need to pick a different hotel. Bed was comfy, no tv in the room. Just a bed, one chair , small table . I kept my clothes inside my bag. I did not like the smell in the hallway. Staff is polite and nice.

I enjoyed the local feel of this hotel. Room was small but perfect for 1 person. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The location was PERFECT for accessing many popular attractions by walking and also was very close to public transportation, and it was a good price. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay at the maritime. We had a king room. Walls are thin which is typical of an old building. Everything was quiet until the loud neighbors showed up. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and professional and he did ask them to be quiet. We didn't have a problem after that. The only thing I would change is that it would have been nice to have had a coffee pot or water kettle in the room. Otherwise it served it's purpose. We were sight seeing so we just needed a clean, warm, comfortable place to sleep and the maritime provided that.

Friendly staff but dull room

The room I stayed in was very small but clean. It had no TV and the walls were thin, I could hear people speaking from the other rooms and it was difficult to sleep. The location is great very close walking distance to all the attractions and metro. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful and gave me an iron & ironing board. I don`t think I`d stay here again.

This is wonderful hotel. One of the best locations, close to everything. Very short walk to the metro and easy to get to the airport. Lovely rooms and bathroom. I love my stay at the Maritime and would love to come back. Very clean and love the windows.

This was a great stay. Super close to nyhavn, and easy walk to the shopping areas and magasin. Double room was great and everything clean and well decorated. I would recommend to anyone staying in Copenhagen.

Excellent hotel for a weekend away. It is centrally located near the tourist centre, but on a quiet street. We had a family room for 3 and it was clean comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and the hotel was good value for money. We didn’t opt for the breakfast as it was a little pricey. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

The hotel was excellent, but the room was really tiny.

Loved our stay at Maritime. We got in early and they stored our luggage for us while we walked over to Nyhavn. The location couldn't have been more convenient. We walked to most everything but when we did need public transport it was easy/close to walk to. The rooms do not have AC so we were a little warm in the room. Not a problem in September but could be an issue in the warmer months. Room was clean and roomy. Same with bathroom. Had a bar area downstairs.

Room was the size of a postage stamp. Too hot, too noisy, no facilities.

This is a budget hotel with just the basics. You get a bed, private bathroom and a small desk. I think most people have high expectations but that is why the price is low. The room is clean with multiple clean towels. The location is very central. the staff is young and nice. They store luggage for free. The noise level is manageable. The elevator doesn’t work after midnight, not sure why but keep in mind if you have to check out before 7am and have luggages. It is a great deal if you want something central and only need to basics, travel light.

Great location

Great location near Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv. I arrived very late but they made arrangements for me to access my room which I was very grateful for. The decor is very dark, but not overbearing. There is no TV, which was fine for me, but just to bear in mind.

Hotel was fine. Room was small but fine. No tv in room and it overlooked a courtyard that was loud most of the night as well.

It was in a good location. Facilities were basic but adequate. Bedding and linen good. It was as good as I was expecting for the price. The staff were very helpful and let me check in very early which was greatly appreciated

Great Location

Great location, and an amazing staff, that is beyond helpful! The lobby/bar is quite cozy. The rooms are a little small and noisy, but worth it.

A bit of a strange beast. Always seemed a bit light on for staff. They worked hard, though. Accommodated me with a room change. Location was excellent. Even at71 I was able to walk to most places. Breakfast platter was extensive.

Location is great. Hotel charges extra fees to clean room daily. No Kleenex in the room. We saw a big spider on the bed...

It’s a minimalistic hotel. Our room had side tables, a desk and 3 single “beds” which where like couch frames with a thin foam pad on top. It was unusually hot during our stay and warm for sleeping with no air conditioning. It was very walkable to the Metro, Nyhvan and other sites. It was ok for one night.

Check in brief, only time we saw anyone, hust a bix a reception for checkout. No towels in room, had to ask apparently if wanted!?! Then we saw the mouldy shower curtain, so decided best to shower elsewhere. Cleaners in morning left stuff blocking exit, so we had to move it to get out, they just ignored us. Room just 2 beds lights and a fan in the cupboard, nothing else. Bathroom large but shower curtain awful. Bizarre as the cleanliness elsewhere was very good! Room above restaurant with music until midnight then started again at 7am.

Great location

The hotel has a perfect location for tourists. On the negative side: old bathroom with a shower curtain, the room did not get cleaned or the trash removed for my 4 nights stay. No air condition. The top floor has a very nice balcony, but it was a bit messy, and not very welcoming. They should really use this floor and outside area in a better way.

Super clean room. Basic but perfect for a city where you will be out exploring. Quiet hotel bar for a drink when you want to relax. Good location for getting around, easy to walk and close to metro. Have to pay extra for cleaning during your stay which I think is a great scheme. Fifth floor bar advertised but did not seem to be available.

Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Main complaints: -No safe to store valuables. -Shower smelled badly of drains. -Room was very warm at night with no AC.

I was only really sleeping there but I had breakfast one morning. It's expensive but you get a huge amount of food, setting you up for the day. The staff are fabulous and efficient. My shower was more of a wetroom, there's no TV but the wi-fi was fine. As a base in the city, it's very well-situated and I'd recommend it.

Central location was excellent and price was reasonable. We arrived at about 10:30 AM after disembarking from a cruise ship and our room was ready. There is a left luggage room if that happened not to be the case. All staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful (even in the case of a wallet lost on a local train). Available breakfast was substantial and excellent. Morning activity in the inner courtyard begins at 5:30 with some banging around. Elevator was occasionally inoperative.

The hotel location is perfect. Walking distance to the main shopping street(15 min). Walking distance to famous Nyhavn 17 canal walking area with all the restaurants.

A great find in the middle of Copenhagen

Stipped for nights in the centre of Copenhagen. Great hotel. Basic but comfortable and situated close to the harbour and main square. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again

We enjoyed our stay here. Particularly the staff made our experience memorable. From arrival to check out, we were grateful for their attention - in their respectful way. The café / bar / breakfast room was also a fun place to watch the EM final with other guests.
