Short stay close to airport
They try to give us the smallest room in a 4th floor without elevator, because of our reservation through Hotels.com After discusson I was able to get a larger room in the 3rd floor. Other guests were noisy at night. Stayed there only because of location convenient to a home I am remodelling.
Not close to air port but sounds like you are on runway. No air conditioner. Need to be buzzed in and out, small rooms, noisy neighborhood, no coffee in room, staff was nice but could only say that it was exactly what was advertised. Last minute booking on our part so I guess you get what you ask and pay for.
Good value
Reception staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and tidy. Loud music in the neighborhood pretty much all night and some airplane noise. However, good value overall.
The building is very safe and the stuff are very nice and helpful.
Decent hotel
Good for quick stay. No elevators
we were there for a layover in Lima. Decent for the price for one night stay
Excellent
Lovely, helpful, cheerful staff. Went, literally, the extra mile to help. Personally took me shopping and banking. Spanish lessons. Swift shuttle to and from airport. Stay here when in town.
The hotel is very clean and neat
Nice clean cheap hotel by airport. Very helpful staff. Will recommend.
Quiet
Very good
This is a very basic and old hotel. No elevator
Hotel was very nice people where great staff wise... location did not seem the greatest.. but it was just one night stay for airport use
Kind staff members
I was flying in after midnight so it was convenient that the hotel was near by. When I booked, they asked me if I need a ride and I requested one, but apparently they donāt offer rides. I was having hard time with a local SIM card, and two men who were working at the hotel then were so kind to help me to figure things out even though we didnāt have a common language. I really appreciate their kindness.
The location of the property was ideal for a one night stay. However, i did not stay long enough to say much about to staffing experience. The room served its purpose for the night and that was that. The neighborhood is very sketchy. I would think twice if i stayed there again.
This place was great for overnight stay near airport. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The gentleman walked me to the store to get water. It doesnāt have many amenities but itās perfect for a short stay. Itās super close to the airport. We paid 10 USD/40 soles to get there from airport.
Clean quiet, walking distance to restaurants. Friendly staff good breakfast.
Clean, functional, secure, close to the airport and staff helpful. What more can you ask for an airport hotel!
Proximity to the airport. Very safe location. Quiet neighborhood. Hotel staff very friendly and responsive. Would recommend this property in a heartbeat. 5 stars.
The staff was friendly and very helpful. For improvement in the future my room did not have bath towels when I arrive. However, the staff responded within moments of my request for towels.
No air conditioner. Just fans, but weather we had didn't need air conditioner. But staff was nice. Neighbor not to nice. Wouldn't be in the neighborhood if alone. But the hotel was okay in terms of safety.
Staff always available, even 1am when I checked in.
No towels in the bathroom, bad area, very dangerous location, uber doesn't drive you there after 7 pm.
Good because it's close to the airport. You avoid a lot of traffic
Clean with friendly staff, but hotel is very simplistic with no amenities
Area surrounding property is very loud. Bring ear plugs! The fan in my room did not work. Very simplistic hotel, but it was clean
No hay elevador , todo lo demÔs estÔ bien , la atención de los encargados súper atentos y nos resolvieron las necesidades
While the property had numerous noisy guests, it served our purpose well....being close to the airport. It was a clean property with kindly and helpful staff.
Great customer service!! So helpful with check in and carrying our luggage up all the stairs. The receptionist went out of her way to help us find a taxi service and helped translate for us when needed! The hotel also allowed us to store our luggage in a storage room while we waited for our 1 am flight out!
Tricked into accepting a ground floor room #102 that was very noisy, staff were not very considerate and made a lot of noise.
Not the best.
Run down area of town. No safety locks on door. Stained pillows. American breakfast totally underwhelming
The front desk Madison was very helpful and kind to us.
I liked the people very much. You cannot have guests!! So be aware of that.
The building was in fairly good condition, the restaurant was greatly lacking, the bar was cute but every bottle of alcohol on the shelves was empty, but still on the shelves, as in no drinks available. They had one type of bottled beer & it was $4.00 USD. It is a business of minimal output, for maximum $ extraction. It is at the end of the airport runway, so the incoming & outgoing flights are window shacking loud all hours of the day & night. Across the street is a small park that is pleasant most the time but one evening a group of about 12-15 people showed up with a very loud PA system, for about 3 hours played music, preached, & danced well into the evening. I will not come back, & suggest donāt waist your time & money unless your tired,& desperate!!! I spent three nights here,& nothing changed. The staff was very pleasant & helpful though.
We arranged and had in writing a Hotel pick up from airport, we waited over 20 minutes and despite trying to call the number given, with no reply, we ended up having to get an overpriced taxi. The room was basic although clean, but. because it was situated across from the stairs we were disturbed greatly by rowdy other guests coming to their rooms at 1am and 2am. We used their restaurant because this hotel is in the middle of knowhere and was surprised at the high cost of food. Overall it did what it said on the tin. A hotel close to the airport.
NO coffee or tea in room or in lobby. non air conditioned rooms and lobby and in worst place to stay. I am glad i only had few hrs to spend in day time and just bite the bullet.
Staff are great! No air conditioning, shower water temperature is uncontrolable, missing some basics, no fruits for breakfast, We might prefer hotel near airport next time. Tks
I received this message asking about check in and 45 min after my flight has landed Iām still waiting for the hotel driver. I noticed which hotels have drivers here with clearly marked signs for their international guests and Iāll be staying at one of those next time.
Warm staff, clean place and convenient location. It was just a 10 hour stay but I felt at home at this hotel and good to return in the near future.
Nice, clean room and staff was friendly. I had a great stay there and will come back again.
No where to go within walking distance. Fan only in room but that was sufficient. TV did not work.
Hotel is close to the airport. It's so close, you can hear the planes flying overhead at night. I requested the hotel driver to pick me up at the airport since the flight came in after midnight. He was there waiting for me with my name on a sign. With the convenient location, the drawback is the sketchy neighborhood but appears safe. The hotel has a security gate which requires you to be buzzed in.
Decent airport option!
Clean, cheap and near the airport. Not a fantastic area for sight seeing but there are a few decent restaurant options within walking distance.
Served its purpose
My brother and I were on a very short stopover in Lima so booked the hotel as it was close to the airport and a reasonable rate. No complaints the hotel served our purpose
Bad costumer service! We been told that the TV doesn't work, untiil the next Monday, and for that reason we don't do have the remote control, however we turned on the TV manually. When we check in we were accommodated in the wrong room, they don't pick us up from the airport
Close to the Airport
The hotel was good for a 1 night stay , close to the airport, breakfast was included , which was good. There was an early wake up call for a lot of rooms on our floor which consisted of someone banging on the door at 6am . This was not the hotels fault , it was inconsiderate guests. Also , I booked the hotel at the rate of $60 Canadian but was charged $60 US , which is about $20 more !!
This is a good hotel for one night or two when you are waiting for your flight the next morning, close to the airport, clean hotel but nothing special to offer. Price was good.
Conveniently located for airport
Stayed one night between arriving to Lima and flying back out to Cusco. Hotel did exactly what we needed it to do - close to airport, large room, quiet area for good night sleep.
Expensive breakfeast. Should have had breakfeast near hotel in local eateries 2 blocks away as had dinners. Traffic noise from busy road to airport
It was exactly what we expected, no frills and close to the airport, only slept here for 5 hours to catch a 3 am flight, it is reasonably loud with street noise and planes, but worked for our needs. Cab had some trouble finding due to location off the Main Street but Very safe hotel in sketchy hood, they will arrange you a cab , but it was a premium to regular rates
Better avoid this hotel. The area is not safe and they charged me so much for a 10-min drive in there transport, that is more reasonable to book a more expensive hotel next to the airport and avoid the experience. In the morning I took down my luggage myself and placed it by the reception counter. I told the driver to leave my bags where they were. Breakfast was not ready at the opening time. I asked several times about breakfast and 15 min later the same driver told me that the breakfast was ready. It was just coffee. Nothing else. While I was having coffee, for just a few minutes, he put my luggage into the car. When we arrived at the airport, I tipped him on top of the hotel transfer rate. When I remained alone, I discovered, that the driver had broken the lock on my suitcase. He could not open the lock, just broke it. The hotel staff in Cusco helped me remove the broken lock and I bought a new one. Some small travel items from zipped pocket had disappeared too. That was a shocking experience.
Nice Hotel if you are planning to have a quick stop by Lima.
Unsafe location for a hotel in Peru
This was the first hotel we stayed at when we arrived in Peru. I think Hotels.Com should reconsider this choice based on safety issues at the location. The hotel is located in the worst part of the city with lots of crime. When a taxi driver tells you to run into the lobby, you know you are in a bad location. The staff was nice but very slow. Rooms tiny, noisy location and bathrooms were old and full of mold. I'm surprised that this hotel is even offered on Hotels.Com. If you do travel to Lima Peru, stay away from this place.
Noisy hotel. No elevator. Sketchy location.
Very very basic and dated. Close to airport. Staff is friendly and enjoyed a quick b/f before departing, a freshly made hot plate of scrambled eggs.
Clean, convinient. 35soles taxi ride away fron the airport. The neighborhood looks a bit sketchy but we still went to the mall for dinner and it was OK. My friend though said she was constantly woken up throughout the night because ppl were yelling and talking loudly in the hallways. Personally i think he hotel should keep noise in check. I think next time I would try a different hotel.
Good, prompt pickup at the airport. Simple restaurant. Quick to bring me a room heater. Near the airport, some noise I have been staying here off and on for 15 years
Hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I had an 8 hour layover in Lima and a lot of travel ahead of me so I booked this hotel in the hopes of getting a few hours sleep before my next flight. They were having the loudest party I've ever heard on the first floor (no joke, you could hear it from blocks away.) But they tell me not to worry because it would be over by, something like 1 AM. It was ridiculous but I didn't have another option. I didn't have time since I also had to factor in a three hour check in at the airport. I laid down but maybe got an hours worth of sleep once the party stopped. Even after supposedly giving me a room far away from the party, it was still super loud. It seemed clean, on the upside. There was a window above the door which let in a lot of light from the hallway, which wasn't so good. Stay far far away from this hotel. They have serious lack of judgement if they think a party of that magnitude is appropriate hospitality for its hotel guests.
Breakfast was included and shower was great! A little pricey for water and food but we had a great time.
Very clean and nice and excellent pisco sours!
Great spot close to the airport !
Perfect to spend the night when flying out the next morning, itās close to the airport , the staff was very helpful and friendly ! Clean room , great breakfast!
PROS - clean hotel, good service, and close to the airport. CONS - (1) This is a loud hotel due to poorly designed acoustics. People, both other guests and staff, speaking at normal volumes downstairs sound like a rock concert in your bedroom upstairs. (2) Breakfast is two simple eggs and a lot of bread. OVERALL - good value for the price, but make sure to get a room as far away as possible from the staircase to reduce the volume.
A bit isolated, no places to eat in area. Luckily they served dinner. Getting cab at airport was cheaper that having hotel pickup. Hotel was lovely, clean, and comfortable. Would recommend
Very close to the airport
The hotel is very close to the airport and the staff is very nice. The room is clean and simple but they need to upgrade the towels urgently. They should also have a hairdryer in the room. These are basic things that make a hotel worthwhile.
The hotel staff was very accommodating and took great care to maintain the property. The pisco sours were the best Iāve had so far in South America!
Convenient location for one night in Lima. Close to the airport
Hot rooms, noisy outside and they charge $4 DOLLARS a beer!!!! This is Lima!
Missed flight and had to stay one more night in Lima. This hotel had good reviews and was close by. Good size room, clean, free breakfast. No complaints.
Very nice hotel and only 10 min from airport (very convenient). The room is clean, white towels and free breakfast. The hotel offer bus shuttle to and from airport.
Nice place
nice place but room is small a bit, close from the airport quite place
Nothing fancy but adequate
This hotel is an escape from the airport during long layovers. Nothing fancy. Adequate
Nice hotel
Excellent personnel. Not AC in the room not hot water in the bathroom
Clean rooms and staff was friendly amd very accommodating.
We had very short layover and it is good and very reasonably priced place to stay.
A place to stay
I was impressed with my car service. Quick and on time. Rooms are clean but I found you can hear everything going on at night and the planes flying above you. Breakfast is lackluster but still good but the coffee is amazing. room wifi could be better too.
OK for 1 night
It was an OK stay. Just not the best hotel. But then you get what you paid for. Staff werw bery friendly and helpful. They let us have breakfast before the allotted time as we were leaving early. No aircon which was probably the only real annoying issue.
Very close to airport
This hotel is perefectly located for the airport and their shuttle driver was a great fellow. We found the neighbourhood to be a little intimidating at 10:30 pm when we arrived(That was the Canadian in us).The staff were very courteous and the breakfast was excellent. The bed was a little firm for me,the shower was excellent.I would stay there again.
Clean, 2 miles from airport, courteous, efficient staff.
Comfortable Airport Layover Overnight
I slept a comfortable night at the Manhattan Hotel during an overnight layover in Lima. They made it easy for me, organizing transportation ($30 round trip, 15 min each way), and offered a complimentary hot breakfast. I was able to refresh in the en suite bathroom, the staff were friendly, and the room was quiet. Only issue was that the small window above my door let in light from the hall. Besides that, a pleasant stay.
Not again
The Manhattan did not live up to my expectations. The neighborhood is not suitable for walking and there are no restaurants in the area. The desk help gave us directions to a grocery store to browse for dinner. The property doesn't match the photos and description in the advertisement. It looks like a former hostel that is trying to move up to the level of a hotel.
Comfortable stay
Very comfortable bed and clean room. The staff spoke very good English, and the check in/check out was fast.
Off the beaten track but comfortable
Excellent hotel staff. Front desk clerk is very helpful before arrival, during check I'm and check out. Airport transportation was well coordinated you and from hotel. Finally, the breakfast was better than expected.
The price is inexpensive, so relatively I give high evaluation.
Close to airport
Good experience Staff are very helpful .....,,,,..,,
not up to par
Stay was not as expected. Hotel very mediocre and very noisy.
Good hotel for a quick trip to the airport
We booked our stay here for less than a day to have a place to unwind before our flight out of Lima. For our purposes, it worked just fine, but I would not want to stay here for longer than that. Callao is not a tourist destination with few good restaurants in the area and crazy traffic. The hotel itself was clean and the wifi was decent, but there were few toiletries and outlets in our room and the room itself was quite small.
Good quality, great staff and a very clean.
Loved the hotel and the transportation service. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was great. The hotel was very responsive to my emails and it's very close to the airport.
A 3.2 Rating is not Fair
When I arrive late to an airport, I like a hotel nearby. The taxi ride was like 7 minutes. The hotel“s interior is super clean and Peruvian Style décor......The receptionist pleasant and spoke enough English. It is in a local barrio and you get a taste of a hustle/bustle city. There is a nice plaza across the street. And, fresh scrambled eggs are available for breakfast
poor. no towels in room. old.
Cheap andservice good. atmosphere relax thanks I like de people
Close to airport, somewhere to sleep
You can check in 24hrs. It was basic, beds hard, shower fine. We only needed somewhere to sleep so it served our purpose.
Ideal for Layover
We stayed here twice when we had long (12 Hr) layovers at Lima airport and wanted showers and naps. It's only about 15 mins by cab ($15.00). The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very nice. They even stored some of our luggage for us while we travelled to Machu Picchu. They have a small restaurant and bar and you can order in. Make no mistake, however. Callao is a sketchy part of town and you really can't go anywhere. But for our purposes, it was more than sufficient.
Hotel near Lima Airport
Served our purpose for a cheap hotel near airport. We were met as promised for a late arrival. Even though the dining hours were officially over, the kitchen prepared a delicious and satisfying dinner for us. Our request for a ground level floor was also accommodated. Didn't have time to see the surrounding area due to our flight schedules so can't comment.
One day layover
It was a one night stay- room cold and by a very trafficked area by the staff - all night noise .
Inside the Hotel its ok - outside no
They were nice but getting there was scary - it's a tough neighberhood
Fine airport hotel
We used this hotel as a stop over in Lima close to the airport. It suits this purpose. Remember to bring earplugs since the planes are flying right over the hotel.
Hotel close to airport. Neighborhood a tad sketchy
The breakfast with fresh eggs was good. All Uber and taxi drivers had difficulty finding the hotel even with GPS.
very nice hotel with nice restaurant and close to airport.
