Beautiful, clean and the staff was so pleasant. Their breakfast was amazing so many options. Delicious. We definitely be back.
Thank you to the staff at the property. I had a great stay and you were all so helpful. This hotel is in the best area. Just minutes from Spanish steps. Great restaurants and shopping. Everything is walking distance.
This was the perfect hotel for our recent stay in Rome. It was so close to the hussle and bustle of the Spanish Steps and easy walking to all the major sights in Rome and yet it was tucked away off the beaten track which was great after a full day of sightseeing. There were lots of good eating places nearby too. The hotel itself was great. Our room was lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very fresh and tasty. We would highly recommend Hotel Manfredi.
This hotel is absolutely incredible. The people are friendly, very clean, and fantastic location. Located right next to the Spanish steps. You are walkable to everything. We walked to Colosseum, Vatican, restaurants, city center. Couldn’t be happier with Hotel Manfredi.
Wonderful experience, staff was so helpful, and absolutely perfect location!
My stay at the hotel was excellent from the warm welcome of the staff and their attentive ness in assisting when needed, even how to access the local attraction. The breakfast was lovely, just what you need to start the day. A really wonderful place with the feel of safety and quietness at night after the hustle and bustle of the busy area during the day when the shops and restaurants are open, makes it an ideal place to stay when visiting Rome. If I was to visit again manfredi hotel will be the first place to check out first before any other place.
This hotel has snacking staff comfortable rooms with an amazing breakfast. Great croissant we had our whole European trip. The breakfast is vast and great quality with beautiful coffee which Australians find hard to find. Rooms are uniquely decorated. We had a family room 2 connecting rooms with a small Foyer area to join them which was very convenient Staff are very helpful we will be back
The air heater and towel rack didn’t work well. I told the front desk at the first night, he replied that they are set in certain time frames. I came back to hotel from trip late, the towel racks wasn’t in their working time frame, next day morning there was no dry towels to use. The heater has the similar issue.
Incredible place, is right in the middle of everything, great staff always available to help, great breakfast, everything was very clean, without a doubt, when I return to Rome I would return to this place.
I selected this hotel based on reviews and neighborhood. It did not disappoint. It's a great boutique hotel located in a very safe and central part of Rome. It is around the corner from the Spanish Steps, but it is dead quiet in the rooms. I never heard any street noise at all. The rooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast was good as well. Hot food options like eggs and bacon always available. The wifi was good strong. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be away from the tourist traps but still able to walk literally everywhere.
The hotel was good

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped with my tours of the city, dining options and taxi to the airport! The complimentary breakfast was great and the espresso was delicious!
This hotel was great. Located in one of the best areas to walk 2 mins to Spanish steps, 10 minutes to the pantheon, 20 minutes to the Vatican and 25 minutes to the colosseum. Also was a very safe area and the hotel does a great job of locking everything down at night. The staff was always a delight greeting us in the morning and helping us with any questions we had. Truly the only complaint we had was that the shower didn’t stay hot for long, but still would give it a 5/5. House keeping did a phenomenal job everyday. If we come back to Rome we will definitely stay here again.
A great experience with this hotel in a central area of Rome. Staff were outstanding, the room, though not big, was in excellent condition and well serviced everyday. Breakfast was also excellent with a good selection savoury and sweet items and coffee made to order. My only minor issue was some noise. We were next to a family suite and it could get noisy at times with kids being kids. But as you are out and about most the time not a big problem.
Very clean, and excellent staff, rooms are very small
The hotel was lovely and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay again when visiting Rome.
Perfect location stay
Location perfect for a rome stay. Room a bit small but perfect for what you need. Clean and quiet.
Hotel Manfredi did not disappoint. The hotel was just as promised, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the location was great! Whatever we needed, from advice for dinner to an early morning taxi, they took care of us. I highly recommend Hotel Manfredi!
This property is quintessential European classic luxury. Not over the top, but just what you need. Location is in central Rome near the Spanish steps, and everything is within 30 minutes drive or walk.
I liked the proximity Very small rooms
Very nice room!
Amazing place, steps away from Spanish steps but remains cozy and quiet. Great staff.
The hotel is in a historic building and thought a little stuffed for space, it had modern facilities .
It was a perfectly placed hotel and everything was excellent except it was hard to find. They need more prominent sign in the front of the hotel. The cab driver was just about ready to give up but I went into a building and was told the hotel was on the 3rd floor. Once in the hotel everything was perfect.
Fantastic hotel in a very safe and tranquil street in the middle of Rome. Love the owners.
Great location near Spanish steps.
Good
Walkable location. The property was immaculate and the staff feet warm and helpful
What an absolute gem!!! Highly recommend this boutique hotel. Staff are amazing, rooms are clean and exactly as advertised, if not better. Very convenient location. This will be my go-to hotel every time I am in Rome!!!
Great customer service
Great customer service
Great hotel, will definitely stay there again. Everything is accessible from here. Staff was polite and helpful. Room was nice and they even had plugs for cdn/U.S. breakfast was an added bonus
The hotel lift didn’t fit by Wheelchaire in Hotel is very old and Very dilapidated
great location, off beaten path, but very close to it all
Highly recommend
Wonderful! Rooms immaculate with every amenity, staff over the top with first class service (Darlila and Roberta especially ) breakfast was wonderful with a variety of choices. Location was great we couldn’t be happier with our stay and would highly recommend.

Julia and Dahlila - very friendly and fantastic customer service. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Wonderful location.
Hotel is in an excellent location right near the Spanish steps. Lots of shopping and dining options nearby. Hotel is beautiful but small. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Great hotel with amazing customer service!!
Booked adjoining rooms for our children and us. They said it did not exist any longer. Gave us a room with 3 beds. No privacy.
The hotel property is not opulent and our room was a bit small and mostly unimpressive. It’s an old building with character (a bird cage elevator in the middle of the stairwell takes you to the lobby) which houses an old European-style hotel. Once you accept these truths, everything about the experience here is great. The location was perfect for a week in Rome. Plenty of restaurants bars shops and people around, and very close to the Spanish steps and other sites. Coming back at night, through the tiny cobblestone streets, was the perfect way to end the day. Lots of people out in the neighborhood so you feel extremely safe. The energy is great. The staff was remarkable and helpful at every turn, from calling cars/taxis for us, to helpful tips about viewing the city. They set up a private car to pick us up at the airport which was great after a long flight. Breakfast room was wonderful and the people working there were cheerful and attentive. Rome was unseasonably hot the week we were there but our room was freezing cold. Because of the prime location, we could use the hotel for breaks throughout the day. The reasons to stay here are the location and helpful staff. The people there are simply great.
We were unfortunately caught up in the Crowdstrike airport fiasco, which resulted in my family having to extend our stay in Rome for an extra three nights. We found this hotel on Expedia and decided to book it. However, from the moment we entered our room, it was uncomfortably hot. The hotel does not keep the rooms cool, and even after turning on the AC, the temperature never dropped below 80°F. This was particularly concerning as we had two small children with us. We brought this issue to the attention of the hotel staff, and they informed us that they could provide another room the following day. This was not an acceptable solution for us. When we requested a refund, they refused. We then sought assistance from Expedia, and the hotel falsely claimed that they had offered us a room next door that night. This was untrue. Additionally, the hotel told Expedia that we did not inform them of our departure, despite the desk clerk shaking my hand and acknowledging our departure as we left with all our bags. Essentially, the hotel lied about everything to keep our money, which was not a small amount. We ended up booking another hotel through Expedia on the same day and had to move my family at 10 PM to a different hotel 20 minutes away. The situation was unnecessarily stressful and disappointing. What makes more sense? Move to another hotel 20 minutes away with 2 small children rather than simply moving to a room down the hall? Book at your own risk.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The front doors lock at 9pm, requiring a code to enter, which made me feel very safe! 24/7 front desk!
Absolutely wonderful, charming and delightful!!! The breakfast, which is provided each morning is a wonderful experience in itself! Everyone was helpful, professional and happy!
Charming hotel for a short stay.
Stayed here with my family. It’s a very charming hotel and reminds us of the type of hotel your parents/grandparents would have stayed in in Rome 50+ years ago. The location is incredible and the staff service is very nice. The biggest problem is that the rooms are SO small. The bathroom in the room is up a set of windy stairs and you can’t fully stand up in it. We got used to this and were fine but I would never do more than 1-2 nights here.
Great location, Quaint room. Efficient. Convenient to many Sites !
Charming Hotel
An absolutely charming hotel! I loved everything about this hotel. Great location on a quiet and charming street, yet one block away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Wonderful staff, very helpful and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and what to see. Dalila went above and beyond making recommendations and getting us transportation to Frascati outside Rome. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here when I come back to Rome.

Incredibly nice staff
Lovely area and great staff!
Great property minutes from the Spanish steps and Piazza Di Siena! It was a wonderful experience
ROBERTA is an incredible valued person, she is aware of everything no matter if is about food or your room etc. All staff absolutely kind and service focused. Food is just great, location is amazing.
Gorgeous in great location
Really a great property and gorgeous rooms
I really like the location and facilities. I wish it was possible to have easy parking too . However excellent reception service, ideal central location makes up for the disadvantage.
Highly recommend
Fantastic hotel, very well located, within walking distance of main touristic spots! The street was very pretty and quiet. Nice and clean room. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend
All I can say is it must be family and friends writing these reviews as this place was terrible!! There is a fake shop front reception, with a door to the right which takes you into a derelict dusty building, with a piece of paper on the wall saying go to the 3rd floor. There is an old fashioned elevator which felt so unsafe. Then, they told us our room key wouldn’t open the door to our floor, so we had to go up to the reception on the 3rd floor everytime we returned to get someone to open the door to our floor. The whole thing was ridiculous. Rooms were tiny and old. Bed and pillows so uncomfortable. Breakfast was so bad we just walked out. We wanted to check out but we’re only there for 2 nights thankfully. Definitely would not recommend!! Gave it one star for the location.
Great staff
Love the hospitality everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Very accommodating amazing location. Loved it
Such a cute boutique hotel right between the Spanish Steps and Piazza di Popolo. So walkable and there is also a metro atop (Spagna) right next to the Spanish Steps. Near high end shops, a great mix of cafes, restaurants, bars. The staff is super friendly amd helpful and our reservation included breakfast which was fresh and had a nice variety. We stayed with our 10 year old son with a king size bed and they added a cot. The rooms are small but very well kept. We just needed a place to rest as we were there for the sights.
Weekend getaway
Super clean well appointed boutique hotel on the 3rd floor of an historic building a block off of Piazza di Spagna and the Spanish Steps
Excellent location, good hotel.
Super location and the room are very quiet. Nice staff, good breakfast.
Absolute Gem
I traveled with my 10 year old for a 3 day trip and this hotel was perfect. The location is ideal, near the best shops and just minutes from the Metro. It is charming, clean, confortable and I would highly recommend it again.
This hotel is in a perfect location for a Roman holiday. Blocks away from Spanish Steps, metro, and taxi stand. While close to everything, it is on a quiet street of art galleries. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
The Hotel Manfredi is perfectly located. A few meters from the Spagna metro station (which is very convenient for transportation), and the marvelous Spanish Steps. It's also very close to Piazza del Popolo, and Via del Corso with its splendid shopping and lively atmosphere day and night. Now, on to the hotel itself: small, quaint, with all the services and amenities you need. The hotel street is very quiet and adorable, full of galleries and refined places to eat. I booked an individual room and the bed was too firm, that is my only complain. Breakfast is adequate and with a variety of choices to start your day. Everyone is attentive and kind. Giusseppe and Roberta are the soul of the place. Grazie mille!
I absolutely loved my view and location
Great location! Good hot shower! Bed was hard as a rock and sheets were rough and scratchy. Room was stuffy and hot. If u open the window u lose power. Walls are paper thin, very noisy. We didn't get much sleep here. We stayed at 7 hotels while traveling in Italy, this is the only one that didn't offer some kind of a free breakfast.
We did not get the type of room we booked.
This is such a secluded, quiet area that really was a much more relaxed feel than my previous visits to Rome. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff that greeted us were fantastic.
An outstanding hotel and location. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The cozy room for breakfast was a great start to the day. About a three minute walk to Spanish steps. Hundreds of restaurants and shopping, we will go again.
Excellent experience the staff is so helpful
The room was really quirky. It was 3 steps up to the bathroom which was cute but unsafe at night. The air conditioning did not work well. It was much cooler in the hallway than the room.
There was no hot water on our third night.
Hotel was in great area. The staff was wonderful.Francisco was great help with everything especially booking trips.Room was cozy and clean and bed was very comfortable.Breakfeat was good
Perfect
Friendly staff
Great location, rooms were very nice as was the receptionist and the breakfast choices.
Delightful atmosphere in outstanding location
Excellent location on a charming, quiet street. Convenient to Metro; Close to Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. Staff was warm and accomodating. Hotel arranged our post cruise private car from the Port of Civitavecchia to hotel for 170 Euros (The ship wanted 200 Euros from the port just to city center.) Hotel leveraged its contacts to arrange a transfer to airport which was crucial for us-car service was hard to come by due to the influx of people for the Ryder Cup. The room was a bit small and a little dark, similar to other small European hotels where we have stayed. However, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked fine, and the space was impeccably clean. Breakfast provided something for everyone, along with delicious coffee and delightful service.
Great location quiet street very close to the Spanish steps. Very clean.
The best part of this hotel is the location, you are steps to all of the best shopping and sites in Rome. The hotel is very clean, our room was quite small, but had everything we needed. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. I booked this based on it’s location and all of the great reviews and I was very pleased with our stay!
Wonderful option for your trip to Rome.
Excellent location, just a few blocks from the Spanish steps. The street where the hotel is located is private so the rooms are very quiet. It's around the corner from designer shops and good and affordable restaurants. Clean and great service from the staff.
The hotel is located on a quiet street near major points of interest. The breakfast, including the entire breakfast staff was exceptional. Everything was homemade from the pastries to yogurt. There was variety and the ladies were eager to serve. Our arrival was not so great. My room lacked a mirror. It was very small and difficult to navigate. I will say that they moved me to another room on the third day of my six day say Guiseppe was the bright spot on the reception staff. He was eager to listen and help with directions and answer questions. A couple of the others promised things that they could not deliver. If you need a taxi, prepare to walk about four blocks to the Piazza Spagna I have been to Rome at least ten times. This was not the worst hotel and location, but it was not the best.
Very clean and old rustic
Staff was very helpful; location was excellent!
Great location, close to Spanish steps. Staff are attentive and vey helpful. The breakfast is very good and a great way to start a day of sightseeing. Would definitely book here again.
Great location and very clean
Via Margutta, where the hotel is located is beautiful . This is one of my favorite street in Rome . The street have a lot of history , very clean , close to Spanish step and desirable stores for shopping . short Walking distance to my favorite restaurants and favorite stores . Nothing NOT TO LIKE about the location and the hotel The hotel is clean . The staff and helpful each time we stay here . And their friendliness and warmness makes you smile
The location is my favorite . Reminds me of the film Roman holiday (feautured the via Margutta street ) . The entire staff a fabulous / outstanding/ above average . They are very helpful and warm and the place is very clean . They even prepare early breakfast ( before the breakfast time ) when our flight is early
Quiet oasis
Quiet, comfortable, relaxing stay in a great location close to many restaurants and (if you like it) high-end shopping.
Just steps from Spanish steps-excellent location to all
Great small family hotel in the heart of Rome by Piazza di Espana.
Unbelievable location and value. A small boutique hotel-lovely!
Great little boutique hotel in an amazing location. Close to everything. Perfect for my family.
Helpful staff
Great boutique hotel in Rome. Pros: breakfast, location, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Cons: small rooms if you’re more than 2 people. Mornings can be very noisy if you want to stay in bed until 8-9 am.
We liked the staff. Very grateful for the staff. The hotel is well worth the stay. Rested very well. Walkable to dinning. Thank you all for making it a memorable stay.God bless you all.
Charming Hotel located on one of the prettiest streets in Rome, and walk-able to stellar world class shopping, as well as the Spanish Steps. Our party of 8 stayed in four of the rooms of Hotel Manfredi. Each room was well appointed, clean, cool and extremely comfortable and elegantly designed. The breakfast was extensive and delicious, topped off with delicious Cappuccino! The staff was all very helpful, attentive and kind. We loved our stay and would surely stay here again, and recommend the hotel to our family and friends. Thank you Hotel Manfredi for an amazing stay!
We had an amazing stay at the Mandfredi! It was a beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning, quaint area. The breakfast was amazing, and the ladies were so nice and made us many great coffees. If you are planning to stay in Rome, definitely check this hotel out!
Very cool Nice go
I stayed on property last week. Such a gem. Located next to the Miu Miu store and super close walking distance to the Spanish Steps. We showed up early and receptionist and bellhop were attentive in taking care of our bags while we wandered around the city prior to check-in time. Once we checked in, it was a pleasure to find out the bellhop had already moved our bags to our room. The room was clean and spotless, quiet, and the air conditioning was great. I was able to connect my phone to the tv to stream Disney , and the bathroom shower had working hot water. Breakfast was included which was a treat. They made us fresh coffee. Receptionists and hotel workers were kind and very helpful. Overall, great place to stay at in Rome.
