Wonderful stay!

I enjoyed my stay here! Pros: beautiful property, quiet, clean, very friendly and helpful staff, safe neighborhood, near attractions Cons: no ac, small shower, uncomfortable bed (for me it was too firm)

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Just be aware that there is no air-conditioning, so during the hot summer it’s a little rough. I still would recommend this. 5/5 stars!

We particularly enjoyed the beautiful location of this lovely hotel in a tranquil and elegant neighbourhood convenient for everything. Simple, clean, quiet rooms in a lovely villa in its own grounds. Great breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for super nice and helpful proprietors Vittorio and Valeria. Thank you for being such great hosts! Forza Roma!

Amazing location, super cost! I would definitely stay here again, no bells and whistles but it clean and perfect for someone who will be out and about exploring Roma all day.

Very well located to visit Rome, but in a very quiet and nice neighborhood. We really enjoyed the place.

Difficult to get to on foot, ac could not handle the July heat, mosquitoes from inner yard, tiny bed.

Location is a gorgeous, quiet and peaceful. Family staff is very friendly and helpful. I stay here every time I visit Rome and will continue to do so.

Fine but requires warmth and friendliness

I liked Hotel Major Aventinus because itprovided a cool and calm atmosphere. unlimited supply of internet, television and clean linen. However I had problems to locate the Hotel. learnt there is no provision of breakfast, the nearest restaurant was more than 500m. the hotel had no study table and study chair, No refrigeration,no AC and the washing soap was too small to complete a bath or shower. the Hotel had no Lobby and lacked the atmosphere of warmth and friendliness My stay at Hotel Aventinus was good. my only problem there was no breakfast and the nearest supermarket and or eating place were 400 m away. th

Would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again. The hotel is situated in a very quiet and lovely area a little walk from the metro Circo Massimo and local eateries (which are both much tastier and cheaper than more central and tourist areas) . The rooms are basic, though fulfilled our needs perfectly, and comfortable and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We considered the price for the room good value for money.

Beautiful place to stay in Rome

We can't recommend this place more enough! Starting from a wonderful, quiet location in a very green part of Rome to a lovely, very clean interiors and finally a very welcoming, warm and friendly hosts. Every day after sightseeing we were truly looking forward to come back to that oasis of peace and tranquility. This place was definitely one of our highlights of visiting Rome. We can't wait to go back there soon.

Veldig koselig og trygt oppholdssted plassert i rolige og pittoreske omgivelser. Gangavstand til de fleste av Romas severdigheter. Vi skal bo her igjen når veiene fører oss til Rom.

Für 80 Eur als Einzelperson kein guter Preis.

Ich bin hin- und hergerissen. Das Personal ist Hit and Miss, teilweise schon unfreundlich. Kleine Extrawünsche werden zum Teil nur mit Widerwillen oder so erfüllt, dass man das Gefühl hat, man störe. Gastfreundschaft geht anders. Dabei ist die Adresse großartig, das Haus schön und alt und die Lage gut. Die Kopfkissen sind sehr unbequem für mich gewesen, in die kleine Dusche passt man nur mit Waschbrettbauch und das Bettlaken der ersten Nacht war zwar frisch, aber mit Riesenfleck, den man erkennen hätte müssen.

Leider war es im Zimmer extrem heiß. Die Fenster konnten nicht geöffnet werden. Die Handtücher haben unangenehm gerochen. Badezimmer konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden.

Agréable séjour à Rome dans cet hôtel situé dans un quartier calme et propre. Je m’y sentais en sécurité. Le personnel toujours présent à l’entrée qui pouvait répondre à nos questions. Il faisait chaud, mais il y avait un ventilateur dans la chambre.

Basique, calme et propre

Hôtel dans un quartier très calme et fleuri. Chambre petite mais propre. Pas de climatisation mais un ventilateur dans la chambre. Savon et shampoing peu pratiques (mini-sachets). Petit déjeuner proposé à 7€/personne (pas testé).

Fornuftig pris, ligger i et roligt område ca 20 min. gang fra Colosseum. Meget venligt personale.

Super stay at this fine place.

We had the most wonderfull stay at Hotel Major Aventinus. The staff is so friendly and welcomming and the service super. Clean and quitly room, so we could rest after being on adventure in Rome, in walking distance to all the big attractions we had travelled so far to see. (And we will for always be big fans of the breakfast with all the lovely cakes 😉) We will definitely be back..... 🤗

Un weekend nel verde

Hotel ricavato da un palazzo d'epoca nel cuore del colle Aventino immerso nel verde e nella tranquillità. Personale affabile e attento. Camera completamente ristrutturata, comoda e pulita.

Super schönes Hotel mit netten Personal! Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern. Zu einem tollen Preis. Gerne wieder

Personnel aimable quia fait un bon accueil. La chambre était simple mais confortable et très propre. L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier calme. Le rapport qualité/prix est là. Jy reviendrai volontiers.

Ambiente familiar. Funcionários bastante atentos e simpáticos. Optima localização numa zona calma mas perto de transportes públicos que nos levam ao sitios mais importantes de roma.

Struttura immersa nella tranquillità totale, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla metro CIRCO MASSIMO. Rapporto qualità/prezzo veramente interessante. Personale molto gentile e accogliente.

역에서 굉장히 멀고 언덕에 있습니다. 주인은 그래도 친절한 편이지만 호텔은 작은 규모이며 건물도 낡았습니다. 한국에서 10만원의 퀄리티와는 ㄷ ㅏㄹㅡㄹ 것같습니다. 모르 텔 정도 수준인데 청결도 자체는 꽤 괜찮습니다. 그러나 욕실은 작고 샤워부스만 있으면 따뜻한물은 보일러 시스템입니다. 룸안에 티슈는 없고 창이 작아서 햇볕이 많이 들지는 않습니다. 나갈 때마다 마당에 있는 입구로 들락날락해야되서 벨을 누르고 들어가야 합니다.

Un albergo simpatico

Hotel internamente rinnovato e molto pulito; all’esterno un po’ di confusione e “decadence” che comunque ha il suo fascino. Gestori disponibili e veramente gentili, con un ambiente familiare. Nella camera non ho trovato il condizionatore e le reti antizanzara alle finestre (problemi enormi per affrontare le calde notti romane). Il costo è un altro problema: veramente troppo elevato per una camera singola e per una stella.

Gentilezza del personale, ospitalità, pulizia, ottima posizione, letti comodi. Bagno moderno e confortevole.

Nyår i Rom

Mysigt litet hotell med bra läge i Sant’Anselmo, nära till Colosseum. Fantastiskt nyårsevenemang vid Cirkus Maximus med tusentals glada nyårsfirare.

Calme et confort

Hôtel trés calme et à l’écart des bruits de la ville, dans un quartier tranquille, on apprécie l’esthétique et le confort de cette maison bourgeoise, avec son trés beau jardin.

Oase mitten in der Stadt

.. eine Oase mit duftenden (v.a. Jasmin!) Gärten und Vogelgezwitscher (abends sehr ruhig) mitten in der Stadt .. 20 Minuten zum Circo Maximo und nach Transtevere, 8 Min. zur Metrostation Pyramide und unweit (10 Min.) der Testaccio, wo man billig und urig-römisch essen, trinken und einkaufen kann. Nach anstrengenden Touren im Zimmer oder Garten die Füße hochlegen und die Seele baumeln lassen ..

Wir waren 3 Nächte im hotel. Das hotel ist sehr sauber und für den Aufenthalt in Ordnung

Calme et simplicité sur l'Aventin

Un hôtel simple avec de petites chambres au confort très simple, sélectionné avant tout pour son emplacement dans un quartier très calme et fort beau.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, da un albergo 1* non ci si può aspettare di più, pulito, personale cordiale. Posizione molto centrale e tranquilla. Lo consiglio a chi voglia passare dei giorni a Roma senza spendere molto
