We have just stayed a night at Maison Malesherbes.
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Room is very nice with separate toilet room whichnis unique. Gotta love the lift (elevator) can hold at max 4 ppl or 2 with luggage but would be tight. Thats a small lift to fit in.
First time in Paris and solo, everyone here was extremely kind and patient as I didn’t know French. I will definitely recommend this beautiful and hospitable hotel to friends and family. I will delightfully rebook in the future.
The staff was outstanding. Great location.
Really kind and helpful staff
LOTS OF CONSTRUCTION IN THE AREA BUT A 5 MIN WALK TO ONE METRO AND 10 TO ANOTHER
The staff was very helpful and friendly! I will stay here any time I come to Paris. The location is very convenient to all of the tourist attractions.
The room is clean and quite spacious.
Great location, good room quality, service was good and hotel staff were very friendly
Amazing, central location, very nice decor and super friendly staff. Easy walking distance from the Opera and Boulevard Haussmann. Bus and metro stops very close by.
The hotel is everything I needed for 2 nights.
A beautiful building with excellent double glazing which made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is excellent, enabling us to walk to the Louvre in 10-15 minutes. The room is fairly basic however, and the lack of a reading chair was unforgivable.
The view is fantastic.
The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The hotel is a boutique and so even though the rooms are slightly on the small side they are all clean and beautifully decorated. All air conditioned, clean, toiletries are provided. We were even given free tra and coffee in the mornings in the lounge area The location is ideal, 20minute walk to the Arch de Triomphe, surrounded by cafes and supermarkets so definitely an ideal location. A few minutes walk from the metro stop too. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.
The staff was outstanding. Everyone was so helpful, pleasant, thoughtful and kind. The hotel is charming and is in a safe and convenient location. Whenever we came or went out, the staff was warm and welcoming and always went above and beyond. I would HIGHLY recommend this charming hotel.
Very nice boutique hotel, tough room aren't as nice as the picture, still very spacious and chic. Superb location which is 1 minute walk from station. Staff are nice and decent, the only drawback is lacking of facilities.
Wonderful Accommodations!!’
It was wonderful and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend!!!
Just by St Augustine
Thé hôtel is beautiful and located in an amazing part of Paris.
4 star minus but great location
Low 4 star hotel with great location
This hotel was surprisingly very disappointing and 4star is way too overrated. How does a 4star hotel not provide a new toiletries every day? And the house keeper refuses to clean my room when I wanted her to come back in an hr, her excuse was that she can't wait for me as it's her last room of the day. Each room's door to door is very close to one another, whenever a guest closes the door, I could hear the door slam SO loud, ended up waking up at night several times. Elevator is super tiny, the size could only fit one person with one big luggage. Overall, it was very unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would not return.
The look and feel or this hotel are outstanding The staff were very welcoming and friendly, happy to cater to all our needs. As vegans the breakfast options were a little limited but we managed and this is typical of Paris/France. Would definitely stay here again.
Very pretty hotel with lots of character. Near to several metro stations making it easy to get around. A great base for exploring Paris
A model to be followed
The staff at all levels of this operation made our stay first-rate!. Breakfast prep, from desk, cleaners, airport transfer, obtaining tips - you name it. The location was also superior. We would recommend this property to all visitors to Paris.
Wonderful boutique style hotel, friendly staff who were happy to help us with anything! Location is great and very close to metro station. Room was amazing with lovely view and balcony and very clean! Would definitely come back again! Only thing to note is that check in is actually 3pm, not 2pm as stated on Expedia website, but the staff tried to accommodate our early arrival to the best of their ability and got our room a little early.
Very nice hotel, clean, very French, kind staffs, conviennent location
Great hotel!
Great hotel, price and location. We spent 10 beautiful nights there. Our room was cleaned every single day with changing the towels every 1-2 days. Good soundproofing, nice location and I think all the rooms overlooking the Saint-Augustin de Paris church.
Amazing staff! Small room but cute and chic.
Welcoming, thoughtful staff, quiet rooms and tasteful decor.
This property wasn't as great as it looked on the photos - in real it was very dark and the rooms look tired rather than on trend. I didn't like the first room I was shown and then the second room wasn't any better. The toilet was at the front door (in a cubicle) and then the bathroom was at the other end of the room. No shower either which I know is quite common in France but thought I should mention it. Hardly any storage and the room lighting was very dark with no bedside table lamp. Location was quite good but then again Paris is so large where ever you are you have to travel. Close to shops if you are heading there for shopping. I would not stay here again - not for me as it was too gloomy and tired looking and hated the bathroom set up. I have stayed in a lot of other small boutique style hotels in Paris that are the same price which I would prefer. Sorry this one is not for me!
Location near St Augustin church and good restaurants. People in room next door were loud and hotel moved me to another room on request. For Paris,IMO room&bathroom generous size. Both immaculately clean. Hot water, fluffy clean towels and apparently Eco/fairtrade products (CosmEthics and Anyah). For first time ever for me the room looked like the photo! For my budget this was in a higher price range than I usually select, but I was doing an overnight stay and wanted to guarantee safety, location and comfort. Ticked all those boxes and I feel like I've had excellent value for money so I will definitely stay here again.
酒店的地理位置方便,近地鐵站,亦近百貨公司,附近有超市,購物很方便。房間挺大又乾淨,有設計感,員工服務也很好,滿意。
Djamal was excellent. He was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Great place to stay if you’re in and out and just need a good place to stay in a good location. Nice staff and breakfast
Lovely Hotel
Beautiful hotel, lovely friendly staff and a delicious breakfast
Booked a superior room, it was on the 5th floor with a great view. Amazing big bath- although don't expect to shower with ease. Great decor in the room and reception. BUT. We were very disappointed that it was advertised as soundproof rooms when we could hear absolutely everything. Guests using the lift and moving around the hall, loud traffic outside, and most infuriatingly the constant sound of water pipes. We booked based on this information as we are light sleepers, and did not sleep well for all 3 nights. Plus, the bed was made of two singles which moved around as they're on wheels and squeaked at every move.
The hotel is in a great location and the staff are very friendly. The hotel does need a good refresh.
Friendly and chic
Friendly staff. I’m lactose intolerant and was disappointed there was no non dairy options with breakfast so I just went to Starbucks. I had trouble with the bath (no shower) and the staff were very accommodating in allowing a later check out. WiFi was good.
Beautiful boutique hotel in conventl location
We spent two nights at this hotel. It was our first time in Paris and the proximity to transit was fantastic and made it easy to get around. The hotel is beautiful, just like the pictures. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is that the bed and bedding were not the most comfortable - this may be partly our preference towards North American style beds. Despite this, would definitely stay again!
Great stuff!! Very attentive and polite!
Good for business trip
nice and comfortable, location was good for my business meetings
Great location and wifi worked really well but very old. No fridge or ice makers. Hard to take a shower without splashing everywhere. I don’t think this hotel is 4star. More like 3.
A fashionable boutique nook in a beautiful area
We recently stayed in the Maison Malesherbes for the first leg of our honeymoon - we were only in Paris for a couple of days, but the hotel was perfect for us for the short time that we were there. It was incredibly clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made it all together a very enjoyable experience for our first time in Paris. The hotel is located in a really nice neighbourhood, Madeleine, with plenty of places to eat and see nearby. The famous department stores, Printemps, Galleries Lafayette and a large shopping district are within a 5 minute walk, and the Champs-Elysees (and Arc de Triomphe) about 15 minutes away. We loved that it was so easy to walk to a lot of famous sites and it made a great base to come back to in the heat of the afternoon (it was over 30 degrees when we were in Paris) and have a rest before hitting the town again in the evening. I'd really recommend the hotel - it's reasonably priced and well appointed for what you pay; it's central and very comfortable. If you want somewhere to rest whilst you discover Paris, it's a brilliant choice.
This hotel was superb!
Breakfast was limited, Dusty rooms, bathtub without a plug. Definitely Not value for money !
There were just 2 things that could've been improved. The size of the towels and the quality of the toilet paper.
Nice style, poor staff.
Over-all the hotel is clean and in a good area. However the young man on reception was unhelpful and rude at every opportunity, which was a shame. The housekeeper was friendly. Check-in was at 2pm but we weren't able to check in until 3pm (no explanation). When we arrived at our room, it didn't have a balcony as per our booking stated. There were no cups, coffee or milk and no toiletry products left in the room. Considering it took 5 hours to service the room, I would have expected not to have to source these things myself in the morning. The hotel is pleasant and in a good area. I was satisfied with my stay because I only paid £50 a night, I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price. I emailed the hotel 2 weeks before arrival and never received a reply, so don't waste your time.
Paris May 2014
Hotel staff was extremely helpful. Convenient to the St. Augustin metro station and Gare St. Lazare train station. Elevator broke the last night of my stay. Hotel staff came to the room at 5:45 AM and took my heavy suitcases down six flights of stairs to main reception.
Perfekt
Perfekt! Smukke værelse og perfekt placering.
Very good

Small room on the 6 th floor. With a tremendously noisy roofing replace job going on outside my window… I can almost touch the scaffolding !!! The Room should not be rented at all at this time…
