Friendly staff, very helpful. Bed very comfortable!
Good place to stay in Paris
The hotel is very close to metro station, many restaurants nearby, the staff members are very friendly. We could leave our luggage before and after check-in.
Great location, great breakfast and coffee!
great location, nice and helpful staff.
The staff were so friendly and helpful.
Nice and clean
good A/C, nice bedding, very comfortable
Good quality bedding Nice room Good a/c
Md
Wellcome from staff was very nice and comfortable bed as well
Great manager& staff
Good hotel, super comfortable and really cute. Breakfast is simple but good for what it is. Area is pretty quiet however the location is questionable
This was a quick trip my room the air conditioning wasn’t working they changed my room without me asking to a bigger double room when I’d booked a single staff were so helpful can’t thank them enough
Staff and hotel location were great, breakfast was quite limited
Nice little hotel in Paris City Center
Nice little hotel in the city centre of Paris. Room are pretty basic and little bit small, but common standard in Paris. Coffee and croissant offered in the morning which was a nice detail.
Good position, some issues
Good location with a lot of shops and restaurants around. Underground super close. My room was a single one and was quite small, but good for the purpose, with private bathroom and good clean shower. Unfortunately there was no energy power in my room in the evening so I couldn’t use the plugs to charge my phone. I called the reception and said they’d sort it out but 15mins after it was still not working. It was sorted the next morning but a little too late as I had to go. Overall good, but a little overpriced for what’s offered.
Friendly staff, hotel clean but a bit tired.
Hotel staff were lovely and very accommodating, our room was passable, it could have done with painting the walls and painting the blue ceiling white. The bedding was clean and so was the bathroom. The towels were changed each day. The shower curtain was filthy, we couldn’t use it as it was so dirty. The hotel was in a good position to walk to most amenities and sights, however it was in the middle of a red light district , the prostitutes are out all day and night touting, they didn’t bother us but look scary. The surrounding shops are wholesale suppliers of clothes and we did find some real bargains.
Nice stay in Paris
Very friendly staff, good location
Great option !!
Great location, so convenient to get the metro, literally 3 minutes away. Small comfortable rooms, great complimentary coffee and croissants in the morning. Very friendly feont desk staff. Great house keeping !
Coffee for guests in reception, friendly welcome, good location
All of the photos online were not real. Only found the hotel because of a piece of computer paper with the name of the hotel written on it. So much construction and the fumes from the paints and staining were unbearable. The WiFi was also down and they did not have someone coming to fix it for another week. Rooms were extremely small and not clean. Due to health issues with the fumes and the fact that the hotel seemed not safe to stay in, I had to find another hotel at 24:00. The man at the front was very rude and would not give any money back.
Good budget hotel with central stay& helpful staff
Hotel reception staff was very lovely and helpful, allowed us to keep our bags early. It is just 3 mins walk from the nearest metro. Loads of local restaurants to eat nearby and little india eatery place is near. The only downside was that the elevator starts from floor 1 and it only fits one person at a time with small luggage. Need some odour deterrent in the toilet room as we could smell it in the room. You will also find some lady escorts waiting outside the stations minding their own business. But overall good budget hotel for the price.
Good
It was great and the staffs were helpful. The location is really good.
Great location, clean and spacious room, polite and friendly staff.
Nice place would go back
Nice little hotel, staff welcoming and helpful, room was modern but small clean and tidy can’t fault it for the price, the bed was super comfortable pillows nice I have sleeping issues but slept well every night .a couple of minutes from the metro once the 4line is back up and running you can easy get to most places with ease, someone mentioned the red light area tbh, it was more just 3 corners and a few women nothing major so don’t let that put you off, nice to pop back late and get a tea or coffee for just €1, if we go back to Paris I would look this place up first, would say if you visit this hotel definitely eat at the L’Amour Vache restaurant great food great service
We had a slight issue at check-in - the room that we'd booked and been told on Expedia was suitable for 4 of us wasn't actually! Very quickly and efficiently resolved and ended up with the added bonus of getting 2 seperate rooms at no extra cost! The location was ideal for getting the Metro to all of the sights within Paris. Hotel staff were always friendly and eager to help - would highly recommend and visit again.
nice hotel
2 minutes walk to tube station. very clean. nice staff.
Stay Far, Far Away
I booked this at the last minute on a flight into Paris so I didn’t have any expectations. With that in mind, imagine how bad it was to have been worse than my expectations. WORSE than my expectations The streets were lined with hookers and their handlers as my cab pulled up to the hotel. And that population only grew Into the evening. If you enjoy back alleys, the feeling of a 1940’s bad movie you might enjoy this place.
Awesome price and location
Good value for money
Best 2 star hotel in Paris
The location is very conveniently close to Strasbourg station, with a few cafés and restaurants also in very close reach. The area is just in a side street of a main road, so relatively low traffic noise.
Paris
Close to all landmarks
Nice hotel. Very affordable for the area
This is a very nice hotel. It is not a big and fancy hotel. It is clean with comfortable beds. We had 4 single beds that worked perfectly for us. And they were all lined up, not bunk beds. The room was spacious enough for our luggage and beds. Area is close to metro and shops and restaurants. There is also a coin operated laundry very close by, maybe 0.2 miles away. Room was cleaned daily. We really liked this hotel and the price. It is not luxurious but cozy and clean.
Neighborhood is awful can't goiutside after 4pm.
After 4pm this place ugly, can't outside and walk because there's hookers on every st. Prostitution is the biggest bussn. They're in every coner. Hotel only has French TV, no internet, no food only light breakfast. Pls do not recommend this hotel to any families with children,
Wonderful place to stay and very nice, helpful staff.
The area is a bit scary...I will not recommend to female solo travellers.
Hotels.com never payed for the room had a nervous 10 mintutes sat in reception wondering were I was going to stay, before the hotel got the payment off them,
nice hotel close to center
it was amazing, the reception, the people were very friendly, the staff were very professional
One Blcok of two Paris Metro Station
Its near two metro station (one block each), has elevador, but you have to up 1 floor staircase. The room is large, wifi is free and good, but the bathroom need some improvement. Breakfast is good but not included.
Gd location & basic room
Gd location, and plenty of food eatery around. The room set up is simple but I am fine with it because we are out from morning till night. The place is clean. The receptionist is friendly and helpful.
Baby Hotel
we had to walk up 5 flights , because the elevator was so small. the staff didn't speak english. construction was going on everyday . And their was ladies of the night near our hotel and standing by our hotel , screaming and yelling all night .
Very small hotel. Bathroom so small you can barely change your clothes. No privacy if you are sharing the room with others.
OK hotel for the price
Hotel is very close to the metro station and shops. Checkin was easy, staff at reception was friendly. The room itself was clean and beds were comfortable, unfortunately the bathroom had some mould, and the shower door did not close properly resulting in a very wet bathroom floor. Also, be aware that late at night the streets nearby do become a bit seedy.
Good hotel for short stay
The hotel is continently located to subways to other locations
Good stay!
Pleasantly surprised with this hotel, wasn't expecting much as it was so cheap but the staff were nice and helpful spoke English. The room was clean and the bathroom modern plenty of room had heating so u could set the temp of the room, the bed was also really comfy. We didn't eat there so couldn't comment on that but had a nice looking breakfast bar and a fudge stocked with drinks u could buy at reception. The hotel is right next to the tube so everywhere is easily accessible.
It was in bad location. Didn't like the night life and sure didn't feel safe. Safe in hotel but to get to and from do it only during daylight hours and have a man with you,
Great service great location
Rashid and everyone there were very kind. They went out of their way to help us. Location is great too! Room we had was very spacious. Thanks baby for a great experience.
Mostly good
Decent hotel for inner city paris. Not a good place to take kids as there is a rather lare presence of ladies of the night. Only downside with hotel itself is that the room we were still needed some finishing touches and the wifi was a bit dodgy but these are easy to fix. Surrounding area has many decent bars (cheap for Paris) and several supermarkets to avoid paying full price for food when doing the touristy stuff.
close to sights
good for the price, convenient to train station, subway and sights, free Wi-Fi doesn't work throughout the hotel stay
Location Location Location
Everything about this hotel was trash except for the water pressure, the staff, and the location. If it wasn't for the location and staff specifically I would have called Expedia and asked for a refund or relocation. The reviews said there were prostitutes everywhere but I thought people were just exaggerating. Nope. Granted, the prostitutes didn't bother my group of friends because we were women who are skilled at using "Don't try it" faces; however, we watched them accost men walking by 24 hours of the day. They were relentless and apparently working to reclaim their passports so are pretty desperate unfortunately. It saddened us more than it offended us so even if they don't exactly bother you, you may not want to see that every day / night on your vacation. The walls were terribly thin, the room was dirty all around, and the timed light in the bathroom was either broken or stupidly configured. It was shut off after 5 minutes then come on again only after a 30 minute wait. The wifi was TERRIBLE which defeats the purpose of staying at an international hotel with "free wifi". I am happy to report that there were no bedbugs however. All in all the hotel was complete trash but the staff were very personable and you can't possibly beat the location. It was a 2-3 minute walk from the Strasbourg St. Denis stop on the 4 line located in the 10th Arr. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone but i would suggest that people look for another hotel near this convenient train stop.
A hotel where its difficult to sleep
Advertised as having Sleep Number beds. Only if your preferred number is 100 for firmness. The mattress was like a concrete slab with a dirty sheet on it. It would be hard to sleep anyway with the people yelling outside the hotel all night. Probably had something to do with the many African ladies of the night right outside the door. Hotel employees don't care that its not as described, the solution is to threaten to call the police about nothing.
DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE
I booked a room here for 6 nights. I had to use my credit card to book the room but Baby hotel charged all 6 nights in advance. I stayed 1 night but didn't like the hotel at all. I found a better hotel and checked out, but Baby wouldn't refund me a dime. There were several problems with Baby Hotel - 1) under construction with exposed wires, plumbing, fresh concrete, etc; 2) dirt from construction on carpets and peeling paint in room; 3) hotel situated on isolated backstreet visited mostly by hookers, who you can hear in the evening arguing in the street; 4) thin walls so you can hear your neighbours. Very budget hotel that I do not recommend for families.
Just Comfy
We enjoyed our stay, it was comfy, the staff was friendly and helpful, it was also perfect for hopping on a metro to explore Paris - our reason for the visit. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, and the street we was off the main road, and quiet for a city hotel.
good deal for the price
Room was very small but clean. Location was excellent and close to sites but the neighbourhood was just a bit shoddy. For the price, I would recommend it.
Good Hotel location
Location is good in the middle of the every thing in Paris compared to its price it is good.
never recommend to anyone. never.....
rude day shift person, super noisy place, you cannot sleep, no air conditioning, if its hot nothing you can do. prostitute all over the place.
Ladies of the night outside window
We were kept awake all night by ladies on street corners arguing over whose corner it was outside the hotel. The area is very dirty and did not feel safe returning to hotel after dark. The beds were very uncomfortable, a curtain rail fell out of the ceiling when we shut the curtains. The staff were nice but not overly helpful. Room was clean but we only had 2 towels for 3 people despite asking multiple times for an extra.
Misleading staff, missed flight
The hotel reception recommended to park in the garage with 24/7 opening hours, but when trying to leave the garage was closed and we missed the flight. Then the staff basically claimed that the hotel has nothing to do with the parking garage and despite the message the day before, the staff started to treat us very disrespectful and i would not recommend anyone to go there. Renovation is in progress, no elevator from ground floor, etc.
Redlight district
Really great location of the hotel. Just in the middle of redlight district with lots of bars and restaurants. Clean room, friendly staff. On the downside, all the prostitutes, porn clubs and the noisy room.
Good basic hotel close to sights.
Booked a family room at this hotel rather that any other because it was the only one that specified a double bed and 2 single beds rather than 2 doubles or sofa beds. With 2 tall teenagers this was important. The hotel is a short metro ride from Gare du Nord and a short walk from a metro station. The area is described in our guide book as being slightly dodgy but we walked to and from the hotel at up to 10pm with no problems. Our room was in the eaves on the 6th floor with an interesting view over the rooftops of Paris and french windows leading onto 3 balconies. The room was clean and comfortable with the 2 singles separated from the double by a small wall which afforded some privacy. There is a tiny lift big enough for 1 person and 1 bag at a time. The stairs are steep, narrow and not very well lit. The en suite was tiny but clean and modern and the water was hot. The shower fitting was broken when we arrived but was fixed as soon as we pointed it out. The staff were warm and friendly and put up with my basic French without complaint but also did not utter a word of English so don't know if they can speak English or not. Did not sample the breakfast as we bought food from a stall nearby. There are plenty of cafes, good restaurants, food stalls and a supermarket in the area. The whole of central Paris is walkable from here - one day we walked to the Eiffel Tower, taking in the sights as we went then got the metro back then the next day took the metro to the Arc de Triomphe and walked back. This is not a plush hotel but for people used to youth hostels and who want a good value room in a convenient area it's great. We are already planning our next visit and will definately stay in this hotel again.
bathroom mouldy
The bathroom reeked of mould which could be seen covering the back of the door - a most disgusting smell. Hotel and room gave the impression of being put together with blue peter "sticky backed plastic"!
To be avoided
We stayed 2 nights with a child during summer. Window didn't close so we had outside noise through the night, added to the boiler starting in late evenings and early mornings next door. TV never worked. Site pictures misleading.
Better than a hostel
Great, for the price I would pay to be in a hostel, far from everything in a room with 6, 8, 10 people I got a room just for me, with a big bed, nobody to make-me wait for a bathroom or a shower. Next travel to Paris, even if I choese anothes hotel, I'll want one near that place, It's a few steps to the subway station, I had no troble to get anywhere at anytime. And very close to there (2, 3 minuts) good snackbars, bars, pubs, theaters and everything else.
Very bad place to stay
This hotel is located quite near the city center, but it is THE ONLY good think about it. High price for a small and far-from-cosy double room with no breakfast included, cold rooms (central heating only, that is on from the late October, they said), noisy backstreets et cetera et cetera...
Terrible
Paris, like other cities, has good and bad streets. The Baby hotel is located on garbage-strewn street with hookers hanging around the front door of the hotel. The clerk spoke English but was unable to provide a room that did not involve stairs as the elevator was broken. Because we had a 3-day reservation he said we must stay at least 1 day or be charged the full reservation charges. We said we would do this but couldn't handle our luggage up three flights. We urge Expedia to take this hotel off their list despite the fact that it is in a central location and inexpensive.
great location, great price
This hotel is basic 2 star accommodations, but the location in the heart of the fashion district and within walking distance of everything makes up for anything the room lacks. The staff does struggle with English and there is no internet access. There is no dedicated parking. I would recommend this hotel for those who are on foot in Paris.
Will come back
Very helpful staff. Beautiful and newly renovated clean room. Hotel placed in a small street in a nice neighborhood.
Alt i alt veldig fornøyd.
Lovely Parisian hotel
Really small (True Parisian style) rooms, but still so cozy! Teeny tiny elevator, but stairs are good for us anyway. Nice surprise with the free croissants & coffee breakfast! Very friendly staff. Would recommend and stay again
Perle rare
Weekendresa
Trevligt hotell, men mycket små rum.
Small, but charming hotel; fantastically central, we walked to all famous sites. Outstanding friendly staff. We will certainly book again.
Its all ok, the manager are friendy.
