This was a lovely hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms, including a balcony sitting area, pleasing architecture and a great breakfast. The pool was a bonus and delightful. The facility is a little dated but very reasonable and had everything we needed. My massage was only serviceable, even though I requested a deep massage. The location was a quick walk from the town, but uphill on the way back so be prepared. I would definitely stay there again.
Amazing place to stay, beautiful !
Hot water took forever in morning and very slow internet unable stream. breakfast was good , no facial tissue, had to ask have room made up
Excelente
Todo el personal súper amable. Todo muy limpio y seguro. Definitivamente se los recomiendo en excelente servicio.
We enjoyed our 5 nights at the Lindo Ajijic. The room we had was lovely & unique features. The salt water pool was beautiful, too chilly for me. My husband swam daily. The Hot Tub was my style. Loved seeing the sauna. The View there was phenomenal! Worth every penny. The staff are friendly & kind. We spoke no Spanish yet we got our message across. We felt Welcomed! Not much lost in translation. We recommend Lindo Ajijic! The mattress was too firm & needs upgrading. Our only complaint. Karen&Jim Versailles Kansas USA
The staff of servers, and people on premises was excellent and very responsive. However, the manager. Eric was never there , and he was the only one who spoke English. Even all signage was solely in Spanish Also there was no warning in the Advertising that this is not a place for older people to stay- especially if you don’t have a car. To walk to and from the town is very steep , and the small roads are very challenging. Also there are no accomodations available in the form of railings , or even bathmats. The property itself is lovely and and well maintained and the staff on premises very friendly and accomodating. However they were not equpped to handle guests’s concerns often. Also if any one considering this placed has any health or mobility issues, this is not the place for you
Luxury and view
Lovely hotel with a great view of the lake plus easy walk to town center. Our room was huge with balcony, steam and hot tub. Ajijiic town exceeded our expectations will go again and yes stay at hotel Lindo.
😍
Everything about this hotel was great. The only thing I wish they had, was a little shop to buy snacks and drinks so we didn't have to walk to a store, especially if chilling by the pool.
Beautiful location and property. Rooms are nice, with spacious bathroom with two showers and a Jacuzzi, located in a small enclosed patio. For a bit more money I recommend getting a room with a terrace with a view - our room was below level and therefore had no view a was a bit dark. The breakfast was nice, with eggs and chilaquiles and some fresh fruit. The employees were all very nice and quick to respond. We got aasaage package at the hotel; the masseuses did a great job.
Lovely property. Nice staff. We very much appreciate that it seems to care more to adults. Transportation can be a bit difficult. Best, if you know Spanish. Attentive staff.
Scroll on. Do not stay here
If you love yourself you wont stay here. Got here at night so we did not see how dirty the jacuzzi was. The receptionist could use a personality and… I don’t know… be WELCOMING. The bed was the ABSOLUTE worst mattress I’ve ever tried to sleep in. This is our fault for even staying the night. We came in through our bags down and went out to eat. Came back, jumped on bed and almost broke myself, the mattress was no different from slabs of wood. My husband could not even sleep on it. He tried to sleep on the couch. We had booked for 2 nights. At first light my husband packed up all the bags and said “we’re leaving”. The owner was zero help and kept saying that Mexicans are used to those mattresses. That’s funny cuz my hubby and I come from a small Colombian village where we wouldn’t even let our animals sleep on the floor without some cushion. The owner didn’t want to cancel our stay and refund our $ so we went back to Guadalajara. Now I cannot convince my husband to ever stay in Ajijic.
The property is great. The staff is friendly. Very helpful.
Great hotel and location
The grounds and the views are amazing. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and made to order. The walk to downtown area was easy and enjoyable. Our jacuzzi in the room never worked and the internet could be sporadic but it wasn’t a huge deal. I recommend it for sure.
The staff really made an effort to help in many regards. The hotel is located up a hill so the walk up is not recommendable to those who cannot do exercise. That said, it's a beautiful view.
No suficientes estacionamientos
Place was beautiful
Everything was relaxing. The only thing the room smelled damp
Really nice and super quiet
I enjoyed my staying at Hotel Ajijic, the room was perfectly clean. Service is great and the food was good. I definitely recommend this place.
Lovely quiet hotel for couples or friends. No children. Friendly staff. Definitely would return.
Very nice hotel, good amenities and very well located; I’ll stay here again for sure.
Wi-fi was weak, pool looked dirty and needs better pillows. Strong smell coming from the toilet/drain.
Wi-Fi needs attention.
I like staying here, it’s so close to down town.
Beautiful and so peaceful 💕
Very clean and staff was friendly and helpful
We loved our stay!
Peaceful getaway at Lake Chapala
This was our first visit to Ajijic. Hotel Lindo makes a great base for exploration. It is up a short hill from the center of the village, so there is some walking, but also a view. The staff was nice, and if you at least try speaking Spanish, they are quite accommodating. Each room is different, so look at the listing carefully before booking. We usually avoid hotel breakfasts, but breakfast here is quite good, and included.
Super clean with hot tub
Great place. Nice view
Had a wonderful stay… My boyfriend and I stayed at the bed and breakfast and were treated like royalty. The staff or more than accommodating, and went out of their way to assist us in travel activities
We loved our stay here and the staff was great. The breakfast was perfect with many choices. The only thing lacking was a handrail on at least one side of the main stairs going from the parking to the office. My wife has a hard time with stairs now and a handrail helps her tremendously. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!!
This property is beautiful! Nestled between the mountains and it has a beautiful view of the sunset. The property is well kept up, the rooms are beautiful and clean . Staff was courteous and friendly and very helpful.Would definitely stay here again.
Loved the staff. Always ready to help. Only problem, no hot water the three days we were there. Other than that, everything excellent.
The stay was great; but staff disappears and toiletries need to be replenished regularly. Other than that the breakfast are amazing and delicious !!
Beautiful property and very clean.
Beautiful views and room 8. Great staff and good breakfast.
A Wonderful Place to Stay in Ajijic - with AC!
The Hotel Lindo is a beautiful property and one of the few places in Ajijic that has air conditioning. We are told most days of the year, AC is not needed, but it was unseasonably hot when we were there. We also greatly enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi at night. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. The only thing to note is that the address on the Hotels.com listing is not correct. The hotel is actually one block further west and we had to search for it on Google maps to find the correct location. Once we found it, we were rewarding with wonderful views of both Lake Chapala and the mountains behind it.
Staff very friendly and the food was great
Staff were fantastic. Super nice. Beautiful place and beautiful views. Very Safe. Good location. Wonderful breakfast. Want to go back.
Perfect for our stay
Our trip was a week-long and all I could say was WOW! The service was beyond excellent. Rooms #8 and room #4 were perfect for our family. The pool was clean and the jacuzzi in our room (#8) was great! The AC unit in room #4 needed maintenance and it was quickly taken care of. Lupita and her staff in the front lobby were the best of the best. We cannot wait to go back.
A Small Piece of Paradise.
Our first visit to Ajijic was a wonderful experience thanks to the Hotel Lindo. Great location , just up the hill enough to be walkable and afford memorable views each morning as we enjoy a hearty , healthy breakfast made to order. The grounds are well landscaped adding to the overall serenity. Everything is super clean and well maintained. The staff are personable, professional and competent. Walkable to the Village Square where you can find your wants and needs. With over 400 restaurants, Ajijic has something for everyone.
It was beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable, kind accommodating staff and great view. 👍
Disappointed, but it's okay!
I love Hotel Lindo Ajijic, with this past week I was perhaps the only person on property and they gave the worst room on site. It has a window that was obstructed and directly above the office. I heard the phone ring every time someone called. I just wish they had given me a different room... When I checked in I was so tired I didn't even realize or I would have asked to be changed. With that said they are nice people (Spanish speaking, if that is an issue) and I will continue to stay here because of the location etc. Nice property but do not get room 5 or you'll regret it. I just can't believe they put me there knowing that I was the only guest in the hotel all week.
Lovely stay.
Nice location. Surprisingly quiet for in town. Close to everything. Room is as nice. Restful environment. Our room (#4) had two balconies with nice lake views. Pretty at night. Pleasant Spanish speaking staff. Good breakfast. Only negative was I was so looking forward to sitting in the hot tub in morning before heading out for day, but it wasn’t warm enough to enjoy.
Quaint and perfect for Lake weekend
Lovely, quaint hotel. Easy walking to French restaurant. Great to have the bnb service to get the day going. Perfect small hotel for a quiet weekend.
It's a nice property in the heart of Ajijic. Nice pool, TV and AC. Two issues though -- the shower design was such that it was almost impossible to get hot water and although we paid for "full breakfast," it was only available between the hours of 8:30 and 11 which made it hard to take advantage.
Really nice hotel and walking distance to the Ajijic Malecon.
The receptionist gave me my key, I ask her to change the room because I dont like the inconvinence of the clear glass door in the toilet and she said that she have another room that she can show me later, so she gave the key of the room I paid for and then I when to eat, when I come back, she was no there, and nobody was in the Reception so I when to my room, open the door and I found a couple naked in the bed having sex… They gave my room to them without giving me other room first and I was still having the key… worse experience ever.
The place is pretty and quiet. Nice staff.
Good Stay
The hotel was nice & small. Is all you need for a good weekend. Would recommend
very nice hotel
False advertising!
The grounds appeared to be lovely, but I would NOT recommend this hotel. Ever. The bedding and towels were stained and filthy. The room was not clean. Moreover, safety was questionable. The large window next to the door would not close and was wide open to the room - no screen. Advertising is false. This is a slum motel, at best. Do not waste your money, health, or safety.
Beautiful Little Spot in Ajijic
This hotel was a great little spot on our vacation. The hotel was clean, the service was excellent, and the grounds were beautiful. It’s about a 5 -10 minute walk into town. Bring tennis shoes, as the streets are quite rugged. Also, bring your Google translate ( if you only speak English), as none of the staff spoke English. They provide a wonderful full breakfast in the morning, with fruit, yogurt, granola and a hot meal. Well worth the stay and a high spot on our trip. Would recommend this to anyone.
Great view, friendly staff. Clean room and great breakfast.
Quiet place to stay at the property was clean and comfartable. would stay there again
my relax place
Is amazing place, very clean and relax
great device !
The staff was exceptional and the service too there is a rule no pet allowed but they gives you permission for two hours for small pet in the garden zone , thank you
The hotel has amazing view. And the staff great!
Beautiful!
Beautiful, small, hotel with amazing view of Lake Chapala. The staff is very attentive. Breakfast is delicious. Our room was comfortable. Bed was firm. The only negative is that the pool water was too cold to swim and the hot tub was not hot. It would have been nice to enjoy these amenities.
Everything was great here except the beds were very hard, tough time sleeping.
Very nice and small place to stay away fro noise. Only small parking area.
It was very good I will recommend it to visit friendly staff
Very clean and comfortable location. Staff super friendly and helpful
We left a day early because of the poor condition of the room. The bedding was horrible, the mattress was so hard my back went out. The sheets and blankets were Gross. The shower was a hazard very dangerous to get in and out of. One morning the manager had to wake up the cook to make breakfast. I would never return.
Not worth it!
We rented suite 8 ( most expensive one) which was supposed to have a steam room, it never worked in the six nights we spent there, they didn’t even attempt to fix it. Our private jacuzzi never worked either. They did try to fix it but couldn’t. Breakfast was practically the same thing every morning! Would never stay there again!
Everything was just excellent, including the fresh fruit and made to order breakfast. Beautiful property.
Good
Buenas instalaciones
El lugar
I really like the rooms they’re clean and modern, the entire hotel architecture is beautiful very peaceful if you like to rest and enjoy a beautiful view this is the place to stay
Good
Very quiet and beautiful place to rest
Excelente lugar.
Excelente lugar y mejor servicio.
