Nice hotel and the staff were great. Very close to the main train station and that was a plus but there are not many dining options by the hotel and you need to walk at least 10 minutes to find a place to eat Room was fine but small. Other than offering a breakfast, there is no other amenities we found. Thermostat was confusing to use. It was affordable and would stay again if in the area.

Very reduced space

We spent 4 days at this hotel in Florence. We booked via Expedia. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from the main train station. The check-in was easy and the clerk was patient, engaging and informative. The room was clean with modern look. The breakfast was included in the price and it had a great variety of fresh foods. Check-out was effortless. The entire front desk thanked us for our stay and wished us a good vacation. Excellent experience, bravissimo!

Within walking distance of the train station and points of interest in Florence. When we decided to take a cab for timing’s sake, the staff had a cab for us in no time. I would stay here again. Quiet location.

Ok for a city break

Reasonable hotel near the train station. Room was a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and helpful.

Had a six night stay at the hotel. Staff is very courteous and extremely helpful. Property was clean and well maintained. There is no on site restaurant or lounge but the buffet breakfast is nice. About an 8 minute walk to train station; 15-20 minutes to many main attractions. Limited dining options in the area but for a sushi restaurant across the street. Other than that you have a little walk and if willing there is no shortage of many nice places ranging from fine dining to very casual. I would stay here again in the future.

O hotel é muito bom, bonito, novo e bem cuidado. A equipe é simpática e o café da manhã é excelente. Único ponto negativo foi o isolamento de som entre os quartos. Os vizinhos conversavam alto até tarde e incomodavam nosso sono.

Very easy to travel to from the airport

Overall it's still OK, but the soundproofing of the room is very poor. You can hear the TV sound from next room or if they are talking louder In the night time. Also when the housekeeping staff cleaned the floor room made the noise even worse!!

I had a very relaxing and peaceful stay at Hotel Leonardo Da Vinci. There was a complimentary coffee/tea station in the lobby and chairs for me to sit outside near the fountain. It was an 8 min walk to the main train station, which was very convenient. I found a Conad grocery store and a very good steakhouse. The area was very quiet, but not too far from the main attractions.

Hotel is not close to any restaurant for lunch or dinner. It relies on the closeness of the tram with no consideration for first time visitors who do not know how to access it.

I chose it because it was accessible at the station, but the overall facilities and services were very good. I liked the cleanly renewed facilities even in the old city. I am willing to revisit next time I visit Florence.

Our stay was so nice, the hotel is very modern and the staff was very nice. I wouldn’t say the hotel is directly in Florence’s city center but it is very walkable. We really enjoyed our stay.

I chose this hotel because of its location near train terminal. But didn’t realize that I would be able to hear the trains coming and going. Wrong side of the hotel I suppose. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Had a great selection. They also had a complimentary coffee machine in lobby. Was nice, because they offered tea too. Which I had in the evening.

The room was far. from front desk right near train lines so we were woke up all night. We also tried to control air conditioner but could make room comfortable.

Overall experience was ok. Staff is very friendly and kind. The size of the room was ok but the toilet was very small. You could barely turn. Hair dryer stops every 30 seconds and you need to wait for it cool down 5 minutes. Other than the location is good

Everything went very smoothly. Our room was nice and clean.

Description mentioned property having lift. But didnt say anywhere its from 1st level. You still have to drag your luggage to 1st level. Coffee machine wasnt working on 2nd day of our stay. When I went to get coffee I was told maintenance guy isnt here and I cant use it. When I asked for alternative I wasnt given any. Otherwise Room & Toilet was alright.

Florence

Hotel was great with exception of paper thin walls. Neighbors on the left kept us awake and when they finally went to sleep the neighbors on the right woke us up and kept us up. Would not have been a big deal but had to be out by 6:00 am for a train/flight.

Our room was very spacious with a big, bright bathroom. Everything was immaculate, and the staff and service were top notch. Even though it's right along the train tracks, it was absolutely silent. The bed was the most comfortable one we had in our month long trip around Italy, and it wasn't even close! There was very secure parking onsite, and half a block from the hotel, you can hop on a tram that takes you right to Santa Maria Novella, or walk there in less than 15 minutes. This was a great stay for us!

Only thing I would recommend is tissue/kleenex in the room.

The worst hotel in FLORENCE! I stayed in this hotel a few years ago and I don’t know what happened!!! The bathtub was clogged! We asked to come and fix it twice and both times they said “it’s fixed” and nothing!!! The room was dirty when we arrived. A total mess! Please avoid this hotel for your own good! Also the noise! The walls are made of paper, you can hear the neighbors moving around even farting 🙄 the worst experience of my life!

This is certainly not a four star hotel. They did not even leave a box of tissues for us to use or a glass to drink water from .Walls of the room and toilet, shower were very poorly and unprofessionally decorated. The tiny shower area is practically in the bedroom area . So no privacy whatsoever.We paid for an executive double room or a twin double room BUT we certainly didn’t get what we paid for. I hope Expedia gives due consideration to our review, investigate and get us some money back. It would be interesting to find out who gave this property 4 stars because it’s certainly not deserved . Lift does not go to ground floor and everyone has to use the stairs to get to the first floor. I felt very sorry for a disabled youngster who struggled to use the stairs and was on crutches. No tea , coffee facilities in the room with poor ventilation, so we had to keep the window open. Plastic disposable glasses were in the toilet so also not environmentally friendly,

Lovely friendly staff, clean rooms. A stones throw from the railway station and within walking distance of most of the major attractions in the city of Florence. Breakfast is provided should you choose to pay a little extra. Free WiFi is available. Reception staff are always on hand if needed and a concierge is on duty at night.

Clean and quiet rooms. Very close to train station and within walking distance to cathedral and shopping area. The AC in our rooms wasn’t very cool so we had to keep the window open but staff was very freindly. They even held our luggage after checkout so we could walk around and return later to catch a train.

they failed to fix a broken toilet in our room after 4 separate requests.. They said it was inconvenient for them to call a plumber on the weekend. They said they would issue us a partial refund, which we agreed to. They never sent a refund. They had us change rooms and told us it was an upgrade. It was not. Same as our first room. In addition to terrible service and lying about the refund, they are in a bad neighborhood well out of the city center and right on major railroad line which made it very noisy

Excellent service and accommodations

The property is very clean and felt safe with gated parking behind the hotel. It looks recently updated with very comfortable beds and spacious clean rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great if arriving by train or tram but parking is behind the hotel and not obvious how to arrive initially and cost 27 EUR per night and better to know in advance to ask for the address of parking.

Ok considering a lot of humidity in the room

The room was very clean and the shower amazing! The breakfast was good too. The air conditioning was broken and the room was very hot and with a lot of humidity. We reserved with a car and the parking available but they told us at check-out that we had to pay 20 EU for each night. Very weird to say that when you're there for 3 nights. It was indicated on the site but very low and not clear about the price versus the surcharge for the breakfast and the city tax per person per night. Our stay was OK but not really great.

Mixed review. Reserved 3 rooms.2 were as expected, 1 was dirty. Decent rooms. All beds are twins pushed together which is not uncommon in italy. 1 room had stains on bedding. Other 2 were fine. About a 10 minute walk from train in area that felt safe. Not far from areas of interest. Breakfast was decent.

Good stay

Short 1 night stay, hotel is modern and comfortable for a short stay. My room was right next to the elevator which didn’t lend to a good uninterrupted nights sleep

It is our first time in Florence, very beautiful city but the hotel, the parking is the most ridiculous, you have to park far away and return to the hotel, arriving at night and very uncomfortable, I do not recommend it at all at all.

A great experience at the Leonardo Da Vince hotel

The hotel Leonardo da Vince is amazing! The service we got from the front desk and the manager was great and personal! It felt like coming home! The breakfast was everything you want, and more! There is a wide spread of breakfast food, pastries, fruit, and vegetables. I recommend it very highly!

Did not like property, room and bathroom
