Very good very nice

Great location, just a couple mins walk from train station. Large room with a large, new, modern wetroom. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Cute garden to sit and eat in. Breakfast was very good, and a great price at 10 euro pp.

Hotel Lemon was exactly what we were expecting. Walkable to everywhere you need to go in Menton and right close to the train station. We enjoyed our stay!

It’s a very simple hotel but nice and feels like home.

The owners were fantastic: very friendly and helpful. Our room was basic and provided the minimum for what we needed for one night on the road. Very cute hotel, clean, beautiful indoor and outdoor breakfast space.

This was a lovely place to stay! Very clean and beautiful. It even had AC! But, two very small notes for prospective travelers. The bed only comes with a top sheet and no duvet/quilt (if you’re a cold sleeper) and it’s right next to a school (can be a little bit noisy during recess or when school is letting out). Otherwise a stunning, peaceful oasis in lovely Menton.

Great family run hotel and garden.

This is a family run hotel just behind the Menton train station. It is close to the Main Street for coffee and shops and a sweet bookstore and 2 streets over is a grocery. There is a lift/elevator on Albert Tier 1 in front of the tennis club that takes you up to the train station. Beautiful garden. I highly recommend.

This is a charming traditional older hotel. The owners, Luis and family are very kind and helpful. There is a delightful outside area where you can relax or take breakfast. Breakfast options were plentiful and included delicious multigrain breads in addition to croissants, fruit, cheese, local jams etc.

Very good location for train station and not far to walk to the centre of town. We were well looked after by the helpful and friendly management. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Small boutique Hotel in heart of Menton. Found the hotel to be clean and well maintained.

Perfect place

Perfect base for a 3 night solo trip to explore beautiful Menton. The hotel was a quick 5 minute walk from the train station but you still barely hear the trains at all! Location wise is was the perfect base, and as a woman travelling alone I felt very safe. Breakfast was lovely in the peaceful garden and my room was cosy and snug. Everyone that worked there was so friendly and helpful (even though I could barely speak French). Will definitely return

Very clean room and friendly staff who were very helpful. Breakfast set us up well for the day and, like the rest of the hotel, was calm and quiet. It was lovely to feel no pressure to keep spending and the absence of bar and vending machines was great. The hotel was in very easy walking distance of the station but the noise did not intrude. Accessibility to the town centre was very easy.

A great little boutique hotel, close to the railway and walking distance to town centre. Friendly service, great size room with a view. Hotel allowed us to leave our bags the next day while we discovered some more of Menton (such a loving place). Would stay again - lovely hotel.

No AC, and loud noises from the road outside

I really wanted this to be a good stay. Nice old type of hotel and the staff was really nice and helpful. However, we got dirty sheets, which they replaced after us telling them (good), but dirty sheets should never go into a visitors bed right? And we are sure that the stains were there before we came. Further more, there was no AC, so we had to sleep with open windows, perhaps that’s acceptable at this price range BUT, we got waken by motor bikes and cars that went past very loudly during the night. So we had two really bad nights sleeping. The staff was really nice so I really don’t want to put this place down, but sorry, it was quite bad.

A hotel with lots of old European charm, close to the beach and 5 minutes from the train station. Very nice staff.

Very good for the price. We did not have the breakfast but the room was spacious and clean. There was no air conditioning so it was quite hot at night. The staff were friendly - we emailed to alert that we had a late check in and they kindly emailed back and helped us. Our late check in went without issue. The garden area was very pretty.

It was good value for money. Close to the Menton station and the local tourist attractions. Menton itself is one of the most beautiful well kept secrets in Europe. The reception was lukewarm when we arrived however the same lady happily stored our luggage after we checked out. This made it possible for us to visit more local attractions. We loved it.

Overall good experience. Tight Toilet and bath due to old building configuration but otherwise all good.

Beach within easy 10-15 minute walk along very pleasant streets

Close to the station

Hotel is a two minute walk from the station and five minutes from the beach and casino. The rooms are standard size but toilet is a tight squeeze, but hopefully we will go back there again. As it is ideally located.

Simple hotel close to train station

Very basic hotel with small rooms. Staff were great and really helpful. Breakfast is very basic for €9. Nothing wrong with hotel it's fine for a night or if want a budget option but wouldn't stay again think can get better value for a little more.

Basic but large rooms; near train and beach

Very comfortable pillow and bed. Slept soundly. Nice staff. Very good room rates.

Stort rom med parkett og nyrenovert bad, det var dessverre imidlertid mugg i taket på badet (ettersom det mangler ventilasjon på badet) og på våre venners rom var håndklær og sengtøy fuktige hele tiden også trolig grunnet mangel på ventilasjon. Godt renhold. Veldig hyggelige resepsjonsansatte. Prøvde ikke frokosten ettersom en i følget ikke tåler gluten, og da var frokostutvalget ikke så stort. Koselig uteplass og pent beplantet som er fin å sitte i om en spiser frokost på hotellet. Det tar ca. 5 min å gå ned til begynnelsen av strandpromenaden. Hotellet er kun 150 meter fra togstasjonen og et supert utgangspunkt for å besøke andre steder på rivieraen med tog. Det var ingen togstøy å høre på hotellet, ei heller annen trafikk. Ettersom vi ankom etter kl. 20 tok vi kontakt med hotellet og fikk tilsendt en kode for å komme oss inn på hotellet og der lå det to konvolutter med nøklene våre.

Charmant hôtel au charme acidulé. Une âme véritable. Très beau jardin. À quelques minutes du centre ville. Petit dej simple mais de qualité offrant des produits locaux.

Petit hôtel cosy , chambre agréable . On a était accueilli par la patronne je pense . Une personne a l écoute qui nous conseille sur les choses à faire . Elle propose une petit dej correct pour le prix 3 ou 10€ .

Charming Hotel in convenient location just two blocks from the beach. The staff was extremely nice! Parking is not available on site but there is a very spacious public parking garage two blocks from the hotel (16€/night). I would absolutely stay there again!

Adoramos a cidade pacata de Menton. O hotel é uma graça, com frutíferas e a proprietária portuguesa é muito simpática. Único problema é o estacionamento na rua. Depende de ter vaga e tem q pagar o parquímetro.

Hotel molto carino con giardino esterno tenuto molto bene, camera molto pulita e grande con soffitti molto alti. L'unica pecca è stata l'aria condizionata che non funzionava bene. Il personale molto gentile e parla italiano.

Cozy and convenient hotel

Such a cozy french-styled hotel located right by the train station (2minute walk). Super convenient if you are going for day trips around the french riviera and using Menton as your base. A bit further to walk to the city center tho, but only 5 minutes away from grocery stores and the beach! The garden around the hotel is so cute and they serve breakfast at the hotel for an extra cost, and the area around the hotel feels very safe and calm. The host was very welcoming and always helped us out when we had any questions. Would definitely stay again!

Edificio antiguo pero con habitaciones reformadas. Todo limpio y muy agradables en el trato. No esperes grandes lujos. Básico pero excelente relación calidad precio. Ideal para viajes en los que sólo quieres la habitación para una ducha y dormir.

This hotel offers a great stay in Menton at a reasonable price. Good location near the trainstation in Menton. A five minute walk to the beach and an other five to old town. Our room was spaceious, clean and nice. The Air condition worked perfect and the staff vere friendly. Would stay again and recomend it.

Enkelt billigt hotell

Valde detta hotell för att det ligger nära järnvägsstationen i Menton. Hotellet är enkelt, rummet rent men det saknades fläkt i badrummet så handdukarna var ständigt fuktiga.

도착했을때 영어를 하는 직원이 없었지만 구글번역기로 어찌 어찌 해결했습니다. 리노베이션을 했는지 건물 내부는 잘 정리되어있고 저녁에는 호텔 정원 테라스에서 라면과 누룽지를 먹었습니다. 헤어드라이기, 전기포트가 방에 배치되어 있지 않지만 직원에게 부탁해서 사용가능했습니다. 엘리베이터가 없는 것이 큰 문제였지만, 체크아웃하는 날 다행히 남자직원분이 계셔서 문제없이 짐을 옮겨주셨어요. 추천드립니다.

Soggiorno perfetto, come me lo ricordavo: una garanzia a Menton!

Rien à dire sur l’hôtel, mais…

Un très bel hôtel située en pleins centre-ville et à deux pas du bord de mer (5min à pied). J’ai dormi dans la chambre la moins chère et pourtant j’ai quand même été surprit de la taille de la chambre, ainsi que du lit qui était IMENSE. Cependant j’ai remarqué quelques taches sur les draps, des mini taches de sang sur mon oreiller… Également un autre petit problème qui je pense ne pas changer, l’isolation au niveau des douches des chambres voisines, on entendait les voisins se doucher, du moins l’eau couler. Il y a des places de parking gratuite dans les environs, il faut juste s’armer de patience et bien chercher !! Je recommande cet hôtel dans tout les cas, on a passé un super séjour.

Très bon hôtel et petit déjeuner excellent. De plus, le propriétaire est très serviable car je me suis blessée et il m’a aidé (donné de la glace pour mon genou et le lendemain m’a descendu mes bagages) Je le remercie et recommande cet hôtel

Parfait séjour

Deuxième séjour dans ce charmant petit hôtel. Je ne peux que le recommander

Saubere und zentral gelegene Unterkunft. Handtücher waren vorhanden, Zimmer war eher klein, aber völlig ausreichend; ich habe an Ausstattung nichts gemisst. Alle Ziele in Menton sind fußläufig erreichbar. Vordergarten und Einrichtung sind einladend. Es kann nur in den normalen Morgen- und Abendstunden durch Verkehr und Eisenbahn etwas lauter werden.
