Great location, old town a short walk and next to Garibaldi Square with excellent restaurants. Very nice staff, large room with quirky furnishings and a great bathroom. Highly recommend.

Typical European small room but kinda neat to look down on the great walking / eating out street below (at least on our side). Rey quaint with nice staff. Would stay there again.

Wonderful experience!

We loved the kitschy decor and our room was perfectly comfortable. House keeping was on point. The breakfast was delicious. Location unbeatable. But the best part of our stay was the hotel staff. All were wonderful but Daniel went above and beyond and was such a joy. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place near Heart if Nizza

Nice place close to tram both lines 1 & 2, so easy to crois the city as you want to. Good check in and check-up. Just hôtel close to restaurant with music so during day a little noisy but good for night. Bel emplacement, chambre agréable, très bon accueil. Recommandé.

Wonderful Stay

It was my first time doing a solo trip and I had a wonderful experience that started with this hotel. The staff were wonderful to me and made me feel so welcome I will definitely be back.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le G. Kamil and Daniel and the hotel cleaning staff were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. We arrived late and Kamil and Daniel proactively provided us with check-in instructions, including details on how to take the train from the Nice Airport. When we needed to stay an extra day, they graciously extended our stay without delay. The hotel was very clean, quiet and well supplied and we had everything we needed. The hotel is tastefully decorated and in very good condition. The bathroom is modern and everything was excellent, including very good water pressure. While the shower might seem small to people from North America, it's normal for Europe and it was completely fine. The room had plenty of space for my 15 year old son and I and we enjoyed our time here. The queen bed was larger than we expected and more comfortable than it appeared. The windows opened easily and allowed us to let fresh air in but the room was also temperature controlled by a mini-split system. The location is great with an easy walk to everything you might need. Le Café des Chineurs restaurant/bar connected to the hotel is great and lively. The Clay café around the corner was our favourite for brunch and Garabaldi and Roze in the plaza were excellent restaurants options too. We took the tram to most places but enjoyed walking around the area, down to the Promenade des Anlgais and generally exploring the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this hotel.

Value for money central hotel

Excellent value for money, comfortable hotel in the centre of everything. Great location. Compact room but comfortable and clean. Quiet if you get an inner courtyard room - there are currently major roadworks going on so an inner room works best. Large comfortable bed. Friendly receptionists. I will stay here again.

Great location and links to transport. Just a bit noisy at night so maybe not good if you were bringing kids.

Boutique hotel with unique, funky decor in good location. No elevator but host carried my bags up & down the stairs for me.

Unfortunate construction outside hotel, main entrance was tough to get to. Also wifi did not work for entire stay.

My daughter and I had an excellent 3 night stay. We loved our room and amenities, the location was perfect with convenient transit for day trips and easily walkable to Vieux Nice and the beach. Staff were so friendly and helpful in hotel as well as restaurant. We will be back! :)

Fint hotell, bra läge i gamla stan. Väldigt smidigt att ta tåget från flygplatsen, hotellet ligger nära tram-stationen. Väldigt trevlig personal.

Be aware of the place

It’s nightmare to stay at this hotel ! In Nice you have many nice places to stay but not this palce ! If you like rooms with no windows and no sun light it means it’s for you. Don’t look at the photos when you make booking, it’s a trick !!!

Very convenient, within easy walking distance of the old town and Congress Centre. Many local restaurants. Good value breakfast available.

My Nice trip

The reception was very efficient and were very accommodating by allowing us to check in early and by also allowing us to leave our bags for a few hours. Sara was particularly lovely and gave us a good restaurant tip. Room was big enough for the two of us for three nights and was cleaned daily. The only downside was the noise from the bar below, which seems to be hugely popular into the early hours. Took us an age to get off to sleep. There is the rub though. Great location and easy to everywhere but it’s in a busy area.

Cute Hotel / Convenient Location

Great location - convenient to Old VIlle and buses. Staff was friendly and helpful. Many restaurants and coffee shops nearby, including hotel restaurant downstairs. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, room had AC, plenty of hot water and pressure in shower, modern bath. I would definitely stay there again!

Fitst floor room 9 we stayed in is right above reception. As front door cover ceases at 7pm the front door buzzer takes a regular pounding by irrate customers turning up late ( and very late expecting cover in person ). A bigger external notice/greater web site clarity/quieter buzzer(please for next time )/permanent staff present may help as the hotel in the heart of an area we love to visit and is very good value.

Prime location, great staff, needs a bit updating

I was in Nice for a conference at the Acropolis, and Hotel Le Geneve was perfect. It was perfectly situated, within walking distance to the old city, the Acropolis, and close to the tram. Highly convenient, with everything you need steps away. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, specifically, Clementine and the woman who checked me in at arrival. The price is right, a very good value, and affordable for a longer stay, which mine was. The room is basic but clean, and each day was turned over. There was a small fridge and hot water pot which were convenient. Everything I needed was provided--shampoo and soap, hair dryer, plenty of towels. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, which is an added convenience, although I did not take advantage of it. Only downsides worth noting, 1) walls are rather thin, so you can hear voices/footsteps, 2) i believe some guests were smoking on the balcony in their rooms and the smoke filtered into my room on a couple of nights. they are not supposed to smoke on the premises, but apparently some guests do not abide by the rules, and management has had trouble enforcing. 3) carpets are a little worn, and the place overall is a little worn, for those who care. personally, that it was kept clean (which it was) is more important. I was told that some updating/renovating is planned, I hope the rates remain reasonable and that the renovations do not cause the price to escalate beyond reach, as I would be happy to stay again

It was a reasonable rate for just an over night stop. After having arrived late, and then an early departure, I cannot provide much more, other than the bed in the room was comfortable.

Outstanding Boutique Hotel in Awesome Location

We had an outstanding experience at this hotel. The staff was wonderful and all spoke Ennglish well. We were lucky that the clerk upgraded our room to a super corner location. The bar/restaurant below the hotel was fabulous and even had live music. The hotel was a short walk to beach, outdoor market, and old townesque shops. We did have to taxi it to and from the train station as that was too far to walk with our luggage. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel

Reception and check in staff were much friendlier and more helpful in the evening than the morning staff. I was told breakfast was included by the night time staff and then told it was €10 by the morning staff. Wifi didn't wirk in my room all night which was highly annoying. Good clean modern room, great location. Wonderful bar and restaurant downstaus.

Perfect location and modern

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL !!!!!!!

I travel a few times a year internationally for both business and pleasure. Having stayed at many hotels of varying star ratings, i have NEVER felt compelled to write a review until i stayed at this awful hotel, Hotel Geneve in Nice. Despite trying to resolve my issues with the Manager, he completely dismissed my issues , refused to refund me for the unused nights, and called me a liar. The issues i had were numerous, not least of which was the incredible amount of noise until 4am, and then again from 6am. I had NO sleep due to the club / bar downstairs and the loud incessant music. The manager claimed there was no noise and the windows were double glazed. They certainly were not, in fact they were flimsy old fashioned unsealable windows with a latch. The smell in the bathroom was foul. There was no phone in the room which meant i had to go to reception whenever i needed help. The hotel had NO staff available after 10pm, so if there was an emergency, there was no one i could contact short of going out on the street asking a stranger. At t 6am the buses and rubbish trucks come by and make a godawful noise for what seems an eternity. I advise strongly NOT TO BOOK THIS HOTEL unless there is not a single room in the whole of Nice available elsewhere. The fact the manager ostensibly blew me off and dismissed me in numerous emails and calls adds further insult to injury. Stay at your own peril and i assure you , you will not get any sleep.

Nice surprise in Nice

Such a good hotel (talking about the rooms). I was surprised with the rooms, and I've tried all of them. Even the smallest one is Bigger to the Nice standards. The bathroom is huge, and comfortable, bed is good, and the hotel (didn't look like this from the street) is very nice. The only thing that somebody could miss, maybe could be some social areas, but in the first floor there's a nice bar and restaurant. I very well located, by walk you can reach the port and the beaches. Also to go to the old town is easy from that place. The neighborhood,is good: garibaldi place, the tram is 100 mts away, the acropolis linear park, and also, on the back of the hotel, no matter there's a lot of gay places, is good for couples or even straight single men or women (there's a nice bar a block away with the finest Cucumber Mojito). I really recommend this hotel, staff is nice and is important to say that I've stayed in different kind of hotels (IHG, fairmont, Boscolo, or simple and nice like this one).

Nice hotel, but...

Friendly and informative staff, a modern, clean, light and airy room, ideally situated for exploring Nice, but don't stay here if you want to sleep! Lots of bars nearby, then the street cleaner jet washing the pavement, then the busses that stop right outside your window (although very handy for the return trip to the airport!) leads to a disturbed night. We had a very strong smell of drains in the room for both nights we stayed - staff suggested it was coming from the restaurant downstairs! I wouldn't recommend it based purely on the level of noise, but others might not find this such a problem.

Good hotel in the city.

Nice is a fantastic place to visit and this hotel is ideally situated for walking to places of interest or taking the bus and tram.

Hyggelig og sjarmerende hotell sentralt plassert. Fint rom med fransk balkong som var stor nok til å sette en stol ved slik at det ble balkongfølelse. Savnet fellesområde/lobby hvor en kan sette seg ned. Kafe/baren er separat fra hotellet slik at det var ikke like naturlig å sitte der dersom en ikke skulle kjøpe noe.

Strålende hotell med perfekt plassering ved gamlebyen i Nice. Veldig god aircondition på rommet og hyggelig personale.

Bra läge och om du tar spårvagnen fr flygplatsen går du av vid garibaldi torget och därifrån ett par minuter ifrån hotellet. Den ena receptionisten mycket hjälpsam. En renovering i huset intill var dock störande ett par tidiga morgnar. Gamla delen av stan fem minuter förbi torget.

Location and basic facilities worked very well. Only down side would be the under going constraction work outside. Probably temporary broplem though.

Amazing location

This must be one of the best located, friendliest and cleanest hotel you can get for a pretty decent price. The hotel is near multiple supermarkets, plenty of outdoor pubs all around, right by the tram station and you can do a under 10 min walk to the beach. Would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to live at the heart of the city and support some very wholesome people.

Bonjour, L'établissement est vraiment magnifique et la chambre ne nous a vraiment pas déçu. Le tarif est très très honnête pour une chambre vraiment cool. Petit bémol: Du bruit dans la rue mais c'est logique nous sommes en plein Nice. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé plus que ça. Nous reviendrons volontiers dormir ici, le lit était vraiment TOP !! Hôtel bien situé à seulement 10 minutes à pied du Vieux-Nice. La chambre était très sympa avec une belle décoration pour un 3 étoile et idem pour la salle de bain.
