You can’t serve your plate and you only get served very little food

clean good water pressure wifi the staff helped me book ubers there aer 2 restaurants and a coffee shops a short walk away

No mini fridge, no phones, no safe. Not near any shopping and e erywhere u went, u had to get a taxi. The resort was older and the swipe cards had to b reactivated at least 3 times a day. 1-2 days but no more for this resort

Really bad customer service, the lock to my door was not working property. The elevator panel was broken. There is no sign on the main road so it's hard to find.

Room was very basic. No plugs beside the bed, so the bedside lamps were just for decoration; not operational. Light by the door did not turn off all night. Room was bare, no art or colour. Pool was cold. Breakfast was very limited and not very good.

Happy Birthday Sis. We got here with no trouble and the weather is good. Little cooler than last year, 23-28. Zaq and Saraarrived yesterday afternoon. On the bus today for about 3 hours to get to Barra de Navidad.

The hotel is very pleasant. Not too big,quiet and very clean, which was very important to me. The breakfast were good, the service was nice,and the area with the swimming pool was very well kept. I am very pleased with my stay. The hotel is worth recommending to others.

Property is driving distance to the town of Bucerías. We rented a vehicle, so we were able to move around with no problem. The hotel had what we needed A/C, good bed and good bathroom. Very clean facilities. The breakfast was just okay. Coffee was not good at all. This was a spur of the moment trip and this hotel fit our budget.

The wifi did not work properly in the rooms. And no place to eat dinner close by. Only a restaurant thats a 15 minutes walk.

The pool was the best part. Not much privacy in the rooms. They only offered one key making it difficult for family sharing the room.

Very nice hotel. Especially for the price. Kind of out on its own, kind of in a commercial area. But quick uber ride to bucerias.

El Hotel muy bien, desgraciadamente había algunos trabajadores que estaban hospedados y son bien ruidosos.

Breakfast was good but they need to change it up a bit. Staff was friendly but they didn’t seem to care if you were happy or not. Our friends had to change rooms due to moldy surfaces and poor drainage in the bathroom, their room was very humid and their bed felt wet to sleep at night. Location is hidden behind two car dealerships and is not close to the beach. The pool water was cold and they closed it early everyday at 9pm. Another unusual thing was that they only gave us one hotel key during our stay and everyday we had to bring it in to reception for it to work again… it was something to do with security reasons. My family will never be staying at this hotel again, the pictures are nice but very deceiving. One of the nights we came back to the room and there were blood stains on the sheets of the bed. If you are a cleaner there how do you let that slide? Also we had to ask for clean towels two of the nine nights we stayed there. If you are going to Puerto Vallarta for a vacation this is NOT the destination to stay at. Pay the extra money for a better location next to the beach, you will save money in the long run.

I left right after checking in. Rooms not as advertised on website, staff were unhelpful.

We loved the fact that you didn’t not have to fight for the pool, there could be more chairs instead of 2. Would be great if hotel brought in lounger chairs and offered an outdoor dining area I feel that area would be utilized more. Also if they had a grill or something for people to be able to use, we went fishing and had no where to cook our fish! There is a large area that is covered beside the pool and is not utilized at all there could be a dining area there. The breakfast was very good if there was more seating in the dining area, there was a choice of 2 different meats, eggs and fresh fruit and yogurt. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff always had a smile on their face and were all very friendly. There are no restaurants around so make sure you eat before you return back to the hotel. The La Cormer is a few blocks down the road and is very fresh and has a lot to offer for produce. There also is no fridges in the rooms so don’t purchase anything that requires refrigeration. There is a small vending machine but it offers out dated chips. Most taxi operators we had did not know where the hotel was so make sure you have it pinned on your maps for the operators. This hotel is a great price just needs a few more upgrades and offer a little more.

Typical Mexican hotel with a great pool and beds.

The pool was great, the room is small and clean with no drawers to put anything. The bed was very comfortably. Only get one key and it lost its vom everday, so if we came back at night had to get housekeeper to let us in and then have key programmed again each morning. Breakfast was probably great for the locals, but after three days we stopped taking the included breakfast. The price was right for a short stay.

Bedding wasn’t premium, there is no hair dryer in the hotel,there is no phone in room, there are lamps not connected to sockets bc there are too far, cord of one lamp flashed after trying to connect it, no sunbeds, staff is friendly but barely knows English, breakfast menu is narrow, better to eat somewhere else, but there is no place nearby. In the single room there is no bathtub, just shower, where you have to wait few minutes so warm water could run. To stay for the few nights this hotel is okay.

I’ll be back. 98% happy with everything. I think the elevator hated me though. It wouldn’t work 2 of the 4 times so I stuck to the stairs after the 2 scares of being stuck inside of it.

I was under the impression this hotel had a restaurant and swimming pool. Neither were available at the sight. We did have an excellent free breakfast.

Stayed a week and enjoyed hotel and pool , 10 min taxi ride everywhere , no restaurant or bar on grounds

This property is good for a budget hotel. Breakfast was very good every day. The pool needs a new liner, the outdoor bathroom sink is full of dust/dirt. The rooms are sparse but ok. No dtesser, no headboards, only hanging space in the bathroom, so you’re living out of a suitcase. The shower tacks are not clean. But…if you’re ok going in knowing these things you’ll be ok. You need to Uber/Taxi everywhere from here.

Clean rooms. Breakfast only, major construction did not make for a pleasant environment or atmosphere, was never mentioned in the booking, nor discount offered. Checked out a day earlier than expected as did not like the hotel and lack of things to do.

This hotel is a little of the beaten path, but truly lovely. The staff were all so gracious and welcoming even as we stumbled through our basic spanish. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms were clean and well air conditioned, with soaps and shampoos provided. Definitly an easy way to start a trip in mexico!

Great place. It helps to speak maybe 100 words of Spanish. Great staff and always helpful. Probably not for the party crowd. We used taxis or Uber. Always convenient to go to Puerto Vallarta or Bucerias. Bucerias is a $5 ride. No lunch or dinner service. No microwave or fridge. For a nice place at a great price can't be better.

Bathroom walls and floor, were the only place dirty that I didn't like. Had to shower with sandal because of the title had stain. Beside that.. really good place to come back.

I had stayed in this hotel a few years ago and I was impressed by its cleanliness, unfortunately bad repairs and old rooms did not make my stay enjoyable. Also the front desk girl was not very pleasant and I virtually had to beg for ice. Also they offered a free breakfast, but I passed. There were five tables pushed almost together, I guess they haven’t heard of Covid, and a huge line. I was ok for one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

I liked that it was comfortable and clean, we have stayed here before, it’s our place to stay the night the day before we fly back to the USA, for the fact it’s only 15 minutes more or less to the airport.

The room had mould on the ceiling. The building was tired & run down. We had to walk to the OXXO for ice. Although the hotel advertises casual dining there is no restaurant, but they offered a reasonable breakfast from $80-130 which we declined. We would not recommend this hotel for the $$ paid. Go somewhere else!

Serene, spacious hotel with refreshing pool, away from the tourist hub bub. A short ride into Buceria. Nice, full Mexican breakfast. Simple essentials with an elegance.

I didn’t like that the hotel sign was a huge blue “HOTEL” sign. I didn’t even notice the name of the hotel. The words Las Palomas was so small. I ended up passing it a couple of times.

It was too hard for them to change us our bedroom to a double that we had to get another room which was a double and over charhed us at the end we end up changing hotels

Great little place to stop for the night....staff has limited English but we had no problems. Petra who works at the restaurant was exceptional and went out of her way to help us.

The staff was very friendly; there were always with a big smile in their face. Rooms were very clean. Overall, it was a great a place to vacation.

Old hotel behind a car dealership. Far from amenities. No bar. No dining room. Not even a vending machine! There was a buffet breakfast with coffee in the morning for $120MX. Desk clerk did not acknowledge us for 10 minutes while she talked on phone to family

Choose upper floor rooms. Lower floors are very musty. Big rooms, simple accommodations. Good bed and shower. Great service. Good food.

Great value in Nuevo Vallarta

Hotel las Palomas was a pleasant surprise. A great value for the cost! Rooms were clean and well appointed, bedding soft and comfortable, facilities well maintained. The lobby, dining area and pool were beautiful. The breakfast buffet is indeed Mexican food, as another reviewer noted, but we ARE in Mexico. I enjoyed a plate of chilaquiles, fruit, and fried plantains, which was delicious. The staff were professional and helpful. It was very convenient, with a bus stop just down the road. I would recommend this hotel without reservation.

You get what you pay for

Pros: room was clean, bed too. Room had AC. Cheap stay. Cons: you hear everything. Thin walls. There’s these iron chairs in the rooms and you hear customers dragging them across the floor. It’s so skreachy and loud. not a lot around the hotel and it’s on the Main Street. Room are completely minimal. No fridge. No smoke detectors. No Wash clothes. The bugs were horrible. The jungle is right there. The shower leaked all over the floor no mater where I pointed the head. I had no floor mats or rugs. The floor was crazy slippery. Mold. flood-light outside on the ground pointed right into my window. Was on all night. The front desk employees don’t speak much English. light bulbs were burned out. I told them day one. Wasn’t fixed the entire stay. Pool was cold. Have to put door key in wall for room power.

On the hwy but behind a car dealership so no noise at all from the road. Clean pool, nice yard. Had a light meal at the restaurant here and as good as anywhere. Looking forward to breakfast. Limited English spoken here but we managed. We needed a room for 1 night and this fit the bill perfectly. Staying in the area for 1 or 2 nights, then I can recommend this place. As I mentioned earlier, on the hwy so not close to the beach, perfect if you have a car.

don't care about your reservacion

when I arrived to the hotel I ask for my reservacion and the staff told me that I didn't have one so after I made call after 5 hours they found my reservation . it was no a good experience at all.

Gringo stay

Good value for cost. Elevator was not working so stairs were only option for upper floors - not good for older travelers or those with bad knees.

Nice affordable hotel

Overall my experience was good, if you are looking for an affordable hotel, not necessarily close to the beach, this is a good option, it is clean, a nice pool, there is a forest area behind the hotel, so expect a lot of mosquitos.

Charming budget hotel

This is a budget hotel which lived up to my expectations. Front desk and maid services were fine. I tried to use the onsight restaurant but they were out of several menu choices and/or had a problem with some-thing not working in the kitchen. This was disappointing. The location was not that convenient as it was north of Puerto Vallarta city. However, since I had rented a car, it did not produce a problem. I found the hotel charming but was very glad I had a car. This was decent value for cost.

Inconvenient

It was too inconvenient, nothing close by cept little Oxo store, had to walk to. No amenities in the room, not even coffee maker. Restaurant open only morning and night, food choices minimal. Couldn't even get ice for drinks in room, water warm! No face cloths or hand towels, just bath towels. Only one glass provided 1st day then none for rest of visit! Never stay again or recommend!
