Excellent hotel, room was very spacious with wide range of amenities and friendly staff. Access to self service laundry made it so convenient when travelling with kids. Located minutes from train station, shopping, dining and Universal Studios. Would definitely stay again!

location and amenities were great. The lobby front desk and street level entrance/exit being on different floors were a little inconvenient when checking out. Wish the chairs in the rooms had backs to lean against.

No gym facilities. Other than that the hotel is great.

Rooms were very clean and spacious for 3 pax. Toilets are in tip top condition. Room cleaning was done daily. The coin laundry was clean and convenient. 600yen per 30min washing, or 1hr drying. There are English speaking staff at front desks. 2min walk to USJ or train station. Convenience store with good food just beside hotel. Microwave available at lift lobbies. There is shoe dryer in every room. Made good use of them as it rained. Umbrellas can be borrowed from front desk. Overall, highly recommended!

Very convenient location for USJ and great buffet breakfast. Dinner options on the expensive side and not that great. Rooms are a bit dated and included lockers are slightly smaller than the station large lockers so bags close to the threshold won't fit. Staff will hold on to your larger bags so it was fine

The old lady at front desk isn’t friendly nor helpful. She shouldn’t be at front desk checking customers in. But the hotel itself is fantastic. Great location and view. Hotel is clean. Would be great if we didn’t always have to take off our shoes to be on the wooden floors so we can eat our breakfast /lunch/dinner

Terrible goal

Unbelievably bad hotel. The beds were some of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. The beds felt like you were sleeping on concrete. You got one pillow which had bean bag beads in it. The towels were very dirty and there were hairs all over the bathroom. Truly awful and I'd never stay here again

Very easy to go to USJ! Easy to find foods and go around since its close to both train station and ferry.

Short distance to JR and USJ. Room is very small. We booked in a 3xTwin-bed room for 2 adults and 2 children, though the twin bed would be enough for myself and 4yo. It ended up 3 single beds in the room and hotel refused to add another bed. The photos of the room definitely looked like 3 double beds.

Very comfortable hotel, in the perfect location for a visit to Universal Studios. The hotel can be accessed from the City Walk for easy access to shops, food and Universal. The staff were so polite and accommodating. Room was clean and a decent size. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location if you're going to Universal

Great stay. Right at the entrance to USJ and the metro system. Would only have been better if the pillows weren't rock hard. Other than that, it was perfect.

The location was perfect for our purpose of visiting universal studios Japan. The staff were friendly.

Very close to Universal Studios Japan. Has Lawson, Starbucks, McDonalds (served us well for no-frills quick breakfast), Inaba Wako (Tonkatsu!), gyukatsu, several Takoyaki joints, 551Horai (pork buns and dumplings!), laundromat…all accessible downstairs. Just next to Universal Citywalk JR station, for easy trips to Umeda, Dotonburi, etc. Highly recommended hotel!

If you are visiting Universal Studios, this location couldn't be better! the train station is 20 steps from the hotel and the hotel is in City Walk!

It was very convenient to stay there. It was near universal and sub station.

Excellent location and stay in this Hotel.

So initially, when I made the request for the room, it was for a double bed. Spokennoise it did not give me a double bed. What they presumed was was one bed that's double. Then, when I called explaining the situation, they told me it was a $5000 yen upcharge Entirely.It wasn't actually the hotel's fault.It was expedienceful but still it's ridiculous.The fact that I had to sleep in the same bed as well as my grown daughter.

Noisy and the staff didn't bother to clean the room.

Amazing experience

Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Water pressure in shower was perfection, however mattress was quite hard…whilst one is walking so much that you’re happy to fall into anything at the end of the day, you definitely need some Motrin when you wake up. That being said, if you’re looking for accommodation close to the park at a very reasonable price, with excellent service to boot, you’ve found your spot.

5 min walk to USJ. Had to pay extra for our 6 year old to bed share, which wasn’t mentioned when we booked, but overall hotel was clean, comfortable, great amenities and very large room

Right on universal walk. Up against train station. Easy checkin and card drop checkout. Got the 28 th floor overlooking Universal. Note: do not disturb button by door= no cleaning required.

complete in self care. they have from night gown, slippers, body scrubs, water bottle, skin care samples etc. it even have smoking area. i love this place!

1. a 3" (minute) walk to Universal Studios (USJ) entrance. 2. out the door & immediately you are in front of a complex of restaurants & shopping 3. a 7" walk to the ferry going to/from the Osaka Aquarium 4. 3 Lawsons within a 5" walk 5. esty of all 1/2, a 2" walk to a JR train Station 6. best of all 2/2, a 10" walk to the bus depot for limousine buses going to KIX & other destinations.

Property is right in Citywalk, steps from the USJ front gates. We have a four bed room that was spacious, and we really enjoyed the premium breakfast at the top of the hotel which had wonderful views. Very comfortable and family friendly hotel for our visit to Universal!

Loved everything about it other than not being able to use the onsen due to small tattoos. I understand this is Poot planning on my part but really wished we could have used them

This is the best place to stay if visiting Universal Studios Japan. It is literally located within the City Walk, so you have all the shopping and dining just downstairs, including a big Lawson. The park gate is within an easy 5-8 mins walk. Hotel is affordable and a great place to stay with kids. We sadly didn’t get to try the hot spring up on the 31st floor but will make it a goal to do that in the future.

First hotel to your left once you exit JR station. They’ll issue you tokens to store your luggages in their coin lockers before checkin and after checkout. Very comfortable stay especially after a day out in the park.

Just a few minutes walk distance to the gate of the Universal Studio. Many restaurants around the area. Need to take train or taxi to go the center of Osaka and a little bit far from the airports. It's a very nice hotel if you just plan to have fun in the Universal Studio.

Very nice USJ/Osaka hotel for the price

Amazing location and a great deal for a hotel right on Universal property. You walk out of the lobby onto the City walk, and a short walk to the front gates. Rather than move all our suitcases and things, we used this as a base to explore Osaka, and it worked very well... this is also very close to the Universal City train station. It's a little tricky navigating from there because Universal City station is just off the main loop, so some trains will go all the way into the loop, some only go 3 stops then you change to a main loop train, but all in all very convenient as a base for Osaka. If you weren't planning to make USJ part of your trip, there are a lot of options on the loop, but we enjoyed our stay here. I'll note it may be oddly a bit "traditional" for a theme park hotel, in that you're meant to take off your shoes at the door of your room and use the supplied slippers, but it's easy enough to get used to.

Perfect place to stay if you’re headed to Universal Japan! Literally right outside the front gates with plenty of food options around plus it’s right next to the subway if you wish to venture into Osaka. Hotel beds are a bit hard but not too bad.

Bad allocation of room

Booked this room very early. Gave us a room right at the end of the corridor, where there were available ones nearer and we checked in on time.

Checking in & out was smooth and easy! Staff help was quick & very helpful, especially with us arriving early. I would recommend choosing this hotel again!

Great hotel to stay at if your looking for something cost effective and also somewhere close to universal studio's. Stayed with my partner and 2 young children. The rooms were enough for a family of 4, and the convenience of having everything in close proximity was a bonus. Would recommend especially for the price

Very Poor and unfair Allocation of Room

We booked this Hotel well in advance. They gave us a room right at the end of the hallway without a view of USS. I can understand if it was a last minute booking, but this was not. Extremely disappointed. Not too sure why others have a better view without a room right at the end when we all pay the same price.

Best hotel!

By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time! We had a gorgeous view and it’s insanely convenient to access USJ! If you have a family especially with younger kids this is the best place because you can rest in the middle of the day without missing much. The breakfast was tasty, we loved the crepe machine and fresh squeezed orange juice. We loved the robes, slippers, and PJS for provided. All the staff was so friendly and made our trip a delight. It’s about a 20 minute train ride into Osaka, but perfect for USJ. 10 out of 10 recommend

location was perfect right outside Universal Studios and River Walk. The dinner buffet was one of the best I have ever seen. I have traveled many times and this is absolutely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

I originally booked this hotel for its proximity to Universal Studios. The property is conveniently located right outside the train station and is a few min walk to the studio gates. The hotel was very clean & staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a nice spread. It's not a themed hotel, but will definitely recommend to those looking for a hotel with great value & convenient location.

Best Universal Studio Hotel

Came for Universal Studios Osaka and really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Everything was chill and perfect. It was a birthday celebration and they made us feel welcome with a birthday card too. Breakfast was excellent way to start the day

Located just right outside Universal City Station and Universal Studios Japan itself, this is one of the best hotels you can stay at if you're planning for a trip down to USJ. It can be on the pricier side, but if you treasure your sleep and want to be right outside the gate just as it opens, this is your definite go-to for lodging. Also helps that your bed is just a 5-10 min walk away from the gates after a long day of queuing and walking (and of course playing) at USJ! Our feet and back were aching, and it was a relief we could rest up without travelling via train again. It was also a nice touch to have breakfast the next morning waiting for us downstairs. Amenities are great, you've got your usual heated toilet seat with bidet, good hot shower and tub, aircon and all. Pillows could be better, but all the staff there were great. Breakfast was good too. It was a continental breakfast with some japanese dishes. Free flow drinks and ice cream. There was a kids section at the buffet that had all kids would ever want, fries, spaghetti bolognese and some other fried stuff (no veggies HAHA) and these tables were thoughtfully lowered, so that they could help themselves to them. A very nice touch. All in all, will be back again for our next USJ trip when the Donkey Kong land opens

The convenience of the location to the station and the park were great! The room was clean and quiet, however the bed was the hardest we slept on in our whole trip - which felt a little rough after a day at the park. All the staff we encountered were kind, helpful, and check in/ out went smoothly.

The staff was kind and very helpful. There are good places to eat inside the hotel and outside. The room was very clean and well taken care of, and the maid service did a great job. And oh yeah if you love a great shower the water pressure was very strong!

Property is basically located at the exit to the universal train station. Lots of places to eat in the precinct and only about 200m to front gates to universal. Would be good if they had 1 bedroom rooms so families could keep smaller kids separate to avoid very early bedtime, but other than that very happy. Great view but rooms don’t really face the park

Good location close to universal studio and train station.

This was a great place to stay at the end of our trip since we went to Universal Studios Japan. The train station was right next door, and Citywalk had plenty of options for dining and shopping. There were also several convenience stores neary, as well as a Starbucks. We plan to stay here again when visiting USJ with friends.

Great location hotel with Onsen Spa (public bath) . The Spa is not free (2150yen per person /available to use the bath from 3pm to 1am and next early morning from 5am to 8:30am/ the fee includes one ice cream or a glass beer or juice). Please read and find out the Japanese public bath rules if you feel uncomfortable. It’s definitely better to know the onsen spa rules and manners before hand (public bath manners) The spa is on 31st floor with absolutely beautiful views. This hotel located just one minute by foot from Universal City Station. Just to be careful when you use Google maps, you better to search from the station name than the hotel name, as google map told us to get off one stop before Universal City Station and Google took us to the wrong place. On our arrival, we had to walk quite far and made mistake. Also there’s no Universal Studios Station, so when you buy train tickets in English language you must type Universal City Station. and restaurants and shops are opposite the hotel. A convenience store just next to the entrance door. Only 3-5 minutes walk to Universal Studios Japan. Unfortunately, this hotel doesn’t have packed breakfast services. We asked the staff but the answer was not helpful, the earliest breakfast starts from 6:45am. No packed lunch. Our room was on 23rd floor with USJ views. Spacious space in our room compared to standard Japanese hotel. Great for the 3 of us.

Hotel furnitures are outdated. Bed and pillows are not comfortable. Receptionists barely speak English. Hotel location is great though. Very close to Universal Studios and lots of food shops around. Also, train station is just around the corner.

Great stay with easy access from city & airport

Big room for family of 4. Requested for park facing and was provided for. Microwave oven, ice maker and vending machine foe drinks are found on every floor near the lift. Was given premium breakfast on the 32nd floor for 2 out of the 3 days stay, with 1 normal breakfast at the restaurant on lvl 3. Universal Citywalk and Universal City train station was at the doorstop at lvl 3. Luggage lockers was provided for when you checked in early and also when you checked out. A pleasant stay with easy access to amenities and USJ.

Great location, but take the train

Location: Pro: Located next to the exit of the JR train station. It's about 400m to the front gate of Universal Studios, and in the heart of Universal city. Con: Not car friendly getting there, so take the train. Hotel: Pro: Rooms were clean, wifi speed was good. Tallest of all the hotels. Staff was amazing! Con: Hotel Restaurant meals were delicious, but were a little over-priced, and so was the parking. Elevators were limited, so expect long wait times or stopping at each floor during peak times. Summary: Highly Recommend. Will stay at again, recommend taking the train if possible.

This is a family friendly place for tourists that want to visit universal studios Japan. It’s quite spacious for Japan hotel rooms and we were able to sleep 5 people. The one thing I’d say is to bring your own pillow because their pillows are flat and filled with beads and it’s uncomfortable. But other than that, we had a great time.

Really Great place, everything near by, dinning, shopping, train station. Vey busy everyday, late afternoon around 3-4pm buses full of students about 300 would check in and every morning around 8-830am they would check out. This is where the elevators are hard to get into.
