Nice staff. So close to ferries

This is the worst hole in the wall, which can't be called a hotel. Not even a hostel. Don't repeat my mistake, don't stay her.

Prior reviews were pretty accurate

It’s about what I expected, in the 5-6 range. Small room that was in need of some maintenance, but very close to the port and the Metro, so very useful. If you are picky or sensitive, it may not be for you. If you just need a quick place to go for a night, it should be fine.

Marginal quality in a good location

We wanted a place near the ferry port in Pireaus. There were several mid-range cost options in the area. This place was convenient but the beds were wobbly, the hurricane shutters over the windows wouldn’t raise, doors slammed in the night (apparently from the old-fashioned elevator) repeatedly, no glasses were provided, and the desk staff was uniformly unhelpful. The shower worked but difficult to operate. The air conditioner worked well, as did the TV. Overall I think we could have done better in that price range in the area.

Pros: -very short walk to the port for my ferry - wifi free and fast - private room and private bath for cost of a hostel Cons: - the sheet provided for the bed was still damp and made the mattress wet underneath, no mattress protecter, just one flat sheet covering it and a damp one folded on top, I found a blanket in the cabinet but I doubt they are washed between guests The bathroom was rough, mold all over the shower curtain, the shower dripped all night, and the toilet seat wasn’t attached to the toilet. Smelled like cigarettes constantly, even with the window open

it was ok

I have to say that this place is quite bad to stay in. However, we can still make do with it given the price paid is very cheap and to just stay for one night and it is just a street away from the jetty. We reach quite late at night, left very early morning the next day to catch the ferry. The aircon is not working but glad that they have thick blanket. There is no bathroom amenities. There were 3 of us but the hot water became cold water after just 2 bathes.

This may be the dirtiest, nastiest worst place I have ever stayed. Absolutely disgusting. Never felt safe or comfortable at any point. Next time I'll sleep with the homeless guys outside, they looked better off.

We were taking a ferry to Santorini and the hotel is very close to port. Excellent location, restaurant waterfeont, beach close by.

Close to port

The room was big, and the hotel is a couple minutes walk from the port and the bus to the airport.

Next to E7 Pireus port gate

It's very near to Pireus E7 gate so that's very good for early morning ferry.Overall place to sleep.

Simple but clean. A short distance up side street from Blue Star Ferry’s E6 & E7 port gates. Just what we wanted to catch an early morning ferry.

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν απαράδεκτο. Το δωμάτιο δεν ήταν καθαρισμένο και για όσο χρονικό διάστημα ήμασταν εκεί δεν το καθάρισαν ,έπρεπε να τους πεις για να αλλάξουν πετσέτες και σεντόνια και είχαμε διπλό κρεβάτι και τα σεντόνια ήταν μονά.

Just to basic.... unsafe when exiting lifts as on stairs.... difficult with luggage.... Photos obviously old and photo shopped.... not what I'd expected....

Only good position

Dirty floor, too noisy, without a blanket or something, only one free plug in the whole room, noisy bathroom vent even when it was not turned on.

You get what you pay for

Very close to the port, and relatively cheap. There is a nightclub that plays music all through the night (was still going as we were leaving at 7am) which you can hear in the rooms. Our room did not have a functioning blind and all the street lights shone in. If you can spare the extra cash for a more expensive place, do it.

Pros: friendly staff, close to the port, inexpensive, AC. Cons: no blankets given, fridge was rusted and unclean, the bathroom constantly smelled like port-a-potty.

Excellent location, very short walk to Port Piraeus. Clean. Non-smoking rooms available. Reception open 24 hours. i stayed here on 2 different occasions because the location makes taking ferries so much easier.

Perfect hotel for quick stay and excellent jumping off point to hop on a ferry to the islands.

It is close to the port, which is why we booked it. It also had aircon, a bed and a fridge-a big fridge. Oh, but it stank! Very very basic, but ok for one night. But no more!

Location is literally everything

The hotel itself is not the best. Very ghetto, but the price is really great to be so close to the port! Me and my friends had a ferry ride at 7:30am and it was really great to be 2min walking distance from the port. If I was going on the ferry again I would stay here. It was fine to stay for one night

Unclean room, unclean bed sheets, old facilities. No toiletries provided in the bathroom. Cleanliness in bathroom was bearable, could be better. Staff at reception was indifferent.

Good for a stop over before catching an early ferry

Not impressed

Apparently the booking online got mixed up and we were supposed to be there the night before our planned stay. So when we arrived there was some confusion, the woman at the front desk called someone and I talked to a man on the phone and he said it was not a problem I could stay there that night. Then the lady at the front desk handed me and my friends a key. Nothing else was said. So we went out to enjoy Athens and when we came back some other lady (I'm assuming the manager) told us we couldn't stay unless we paid for another night even though we were already told that everything was settled and we could stay that night. When I asked why we weren't told this earlier and given the keys and told it was fine she said "I don't know. The lady who let you in is the maid she doesn't know any better." Even though I also talked to a man on the phone confirming it was fine. Then she tried to charge us double what we originally paid for that night on top of what we had already paid for the night before. Not impressed. Moral of the story: I would have been fine paying for another night due to the mix up but the fact I was told 5 hours earlier it was fine and everything was settled is what really made me upset. Get your staff on the same page.

Convenient to the port

Even though I didn't realize I had booked for a double room after explaining to the night staff I needed a twin room fir my grandson and I, he immediately gave me a room with two separate beds en suite at thesame price. He was understandable with good customer service

Nice and close to harbour ferries.

Rooms are ok and clean. Air conditioning worked well, a must for Greek summers. While they may offer you breakfast there is no real facilities for this. Cooked American breakfast which I couldn't eat - skip breakfast if your use to an Australian or English style breakfast as it will disappoint

Met Our Needs

Hotel was in a pretty scuzzy neighborhood but it was just steps away from the ferry terminal. Wireless was good as was the air conditioning. Old and dated but it met our needs for a one night stay.

It provides a no frills, safe place to catch some sleep while travelling. We've used them for 13 years.

Definitely nothing to write home about and not a place to stay if you are a light sleeper. Got the job done for coming in on a late ferry and having to leave early on the bus to the airport the next day.

Ideal hotel for an overnight budget stopover before catching a ferry/cruise ship. Yes it's very dated but if you just need somewhere to sleep it is very close to the ferry terminal.

I enjoyed my stay here, the price and location were perfect for exploring the ferries in Piraeus. Kind of gritty, but that can be cool. It was simple, but purposeful. The table reminded me of a Van Gogh painting and I felt transported back to the 1950s. Overall, it was an interesting experience and I'd do it again. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The first time we stayed the room provided was in better condition than the second room we were given. The curtains didn't cover the windows. However, the staff of hotel are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Basic Hotel near Port

Very basic hotel but very close to the port. It is right across the Blue Star ferry terminus- one going to Santorini and very convenient for taking the early morning ferry. The qudruple room was very small but had four beds, though was very tight even to put our bags. There was no closet or hangers for the cloths. The bathroom was also very small and saw two cockroaches. The staff was good. The area is very busy and have many restaurants around.

Convenient to the Blue Star Ferry

We use this hotel because the bus from the airport stops a block away and the ferry is half a block away. It's clean enough, and you can't beat the price. You can walk to the metro, bus stop, or ferry so it provides a convenient stopover when you're heading to the islands.

Rub down hotel with no amenities but very convenie

This hotel is old and run down. It wa supposed to have wifi in the room but did not. Water from shower spigot came out brown at first. Neighborhood very sketchy. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. However it was extremely convenient for catching an early morning ferry to the islands. It did have a tv with a lot of stations.

Great location - rest so, so..

Stayed there for 2 nights, before and after our Greek island tour. Good: Great location, easy to find, under 5 minutes walk from Metro, Airport bus, Santorini ferry. Friendly 24 hour check-in. Average: Building is old, everything is very basic and small. Ok for overnight sleep. Bad: WIFI never worked, we got 3 different passwords even from surrounding hotels.

A good place to stay next to the ferry port. Half a block walk in the morning and no worries about getting to the ferry on time.

Hotel sale, pas de petit déjeuner, très bruyant même très tard la nuit. Quartier pas rassurant. Sent la cigarette dans la chambre Vraiment pour une nuit car proximité avec le port. Possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner et bon sandwich dans boulangerie dans une rue de l'avenue en bas de l'hôtel.

Couloirs vétustes. Grande chambre propre avec réfrigérateur et bonne literie. Salle de bain à revoir entièrement. Le flexible était cassé et il était impossible de se doucher, l'eau s'echappait par les spires. L'hôtel est pratique compte tenu de sa proximité avec le métro et le port des ferries.

Hotel desastroso

El señor nos cobró 50 céntimos por las tasas de la que no nos dió recibo o nos enseñó cláusula ni nada, aunque no tiene importancia me pareció de tener mucho morro. El lugar era viejo, sin luz en el cuarto de baño, con agujeros en el techo y además se escuchaba el sonido de los barcos. El aire acondicionado olía raro así que no lo encendimos y abrimos la ventana. Un desastre.

Terrible but close to ferry

Slummish area in the harbour. Only positive was walking distance to Blue Star ferries. I have never seen something so basic in terms of beds etc and the whole building is run down. Even if price was low, not even half of it would have been worth it. One of us got locked into the room, not only once but 3 times!! I will never go back to this one.
