Don’t overthink it. This place and location were great. Walkable to all the main tourist hotspots in Madrid - the Palacio Real, the Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, el Sobrino de Botín, churros, and more churros. The check in was easy, the room was spacious and fit the perfect balance of hotel conveniences and boutique uniqueness. Comfortable beds, quiet area, clean, and friendly staff. There are so many places to stay and one can always be unsure whether “this is the right place,” but we would stay here again anytime.

Great stay

The location of the hotel is awesome. It is close to everything. It is super clean. The room was comfortable but it was very small and it was placed in a part of the hotel with no view what so ever with no elevator to the room.

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to everything, and very close to a Metro station. My room was clean and updated, it was not a very large room, but it was perfect for one or two people. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant on site was also great for a drink and a quick bite. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Staff was very nice.

The property was very beautiful, and the amenities as well. However, our room did not have any air conditioning. However, the hotel was accommodating and gave us a room with the windows so that we could sleep with the window open to allow cold air to come in.

Heating in the room is not easy to monitor and toilet is too close to the wall. Shower head is not easy to use

Good for close proximity to city centre - really good however some minor issues: Air conditioning didn't work, it would just blast hot air and think room temperature was much lower than it actually was. Whilst power shower was strong, it alternated between hot and cold which was annoying Gold Expedia member, they didn't really seem to give me much of an upgrade (it looked the same as standard room) Worst was the poor sound insulation - from street outside noise to hearing next door neighbour and cleaners early in the morning in corridor

Every thing was wonderful

Every was great about hotel, but if you get a room in the first floor, you won’t be able to sleep because people will be sitting downstairs at the bar and you will hear everything from your room. Just make sure to get a room on the higher floors

Perfect place in Madrid

I love this hotel. The location is great and the staff are so welcoming and always helpful.

I stayed here 9 years ago when I was last in Madrid and for this current stay, it was even better than I remember. The location can’t be beat - walkable in minutes from so many places yet quiet and charming. The lobby is welcoming and beautiful, inviting you to sit and linger with a coffee or glass of wine. The breakfast has a nice spread and the evening tapas and cocktails out on the plaza was a fun way to start the night without breaking the bank. Our room was large by Europe standards, with tall ceilings, and a balcony over the side street. Great storage in the closet, and a well-stocked and nice-sized bathroom. The beds were super comfy and it was very quiet. The only minor issues were the size of the fitness room - it was smaller than our actually hotel room albeit with good weights and bike and treadmill but difficult for more than one person to comfortably use. The bathroom could use a fan as it got steamy after a quick shower and needs more hooks on the wall and a couple on the back of the door. Otherwise, I could not recommend this wonderful place more highly. It was our home away from home during our week-long stay in Madrid. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

It was a great location- walk to everywhere. We liked staying at the hotel. Didn't get a room upgrade but the first room that we checked in had a consistent noice and they changed our room right away. As for VIP perk, received only one free drink ticket - I guess because my husband joined me a day later. Anyway I ended up not using it at all. We'll probably stay here again.

As always it was a lovely place to stay in Madrid. They’ve added some additional amenities since my last visit a few months ago; complementary robes and slippers which were much appreciated.

Spent two nights at the Intelier and I had a pleasant experience. Located super downtown. Easy to navigate anywhere from it. Close to the Teatro Real which makes it really convenient may you have tickets for the Opera/Concert. Loved the old charm of the hotel with its wooden staircase. Took the breakfast to option and would recommend it as everything was fresh and tasty.

Welcoming, peaceful whilst in the centre of everything we needed… Celeste cleaned the room beautifully and the rest of the staff were friendly and very helpful… would highly recommend

This is a great hotel for the price and the location is central to everything we wanted to see so we never had to Uber anywhere.

Great all-around property

Located central to tourist spots, Intelier is quiet at night and is very clean and atmospheric. A short walk to metro stations (Callao or Sol) and Gran Via for shopping. I'd stay here again! I was very comfortable :)

The hotel is very nice. The room was average size and clean. Did not like the surrounding area. But was quite close to la gran via. Personally i prefer a more tranquile surrounding

Awesome 5 star hotel!! Service from the staff was impeccable. The toom was spacious (for european standards) and super comfortable. Good pressure in the shower, hot water immediately and anytime, super quiet at night despite being in the middle of downtown Madrid, walking distance to Sol, Royal Palace, Opera theatre, etc. I absolutely recommend it and for sure will stay here in my next visit to Madrid.

Great location, very quiet area. Walkable to many major tourist spots. Great variety of restaurants nearby. Rooms comfortable, with zero outside noise if you have an inside room. Definitely more than what we expected.

The hotel was great, and everything was walkable. We felt safe at all times. My only negative was I didn't receive any of the VIP perks nor was they ever mentioned to me or offered.

My Madrid

I loved Madrid. Hotel was beautiful and i had a balcony that looked directly over the city. Amazing sunset,evening and sunrise. I walked everywhere. The junior suite was huge and well accomplished. I guess you could say that I stayed in a palace in Madrid.

This hotel was top-notch from service to decor to location. Everything was perfect and the staff was friendly and very helpful from the first minute we walked in. We were given welcome drinks at the lounge and the area is just as beautiful as in the pictures. Maybe my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in.
