This was my third stay at this property and it's my first choice in Madrid. The location is great and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Great location, friendly atmosphere, clean, close to gran villla and metro
Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Room did not get cleaned for three days, had to collect my own laundry after having dropped it off (similar for the iron and iron board, which I also had to collect at reception). Shower dreadful, massive cracks in the bath and a mattress that was on the bed during the Spanish civil war. Need I continue?
Average stay
Disappointed with the room, did not match the pictures. Bathroom was not as clean as I would expect and paint peeling off the ceiling. Luckily was only here one night but expected better considering the price was over €200
The property is located at an excellent ubicación. You are like 1 block to La Gran Via. I had stared in this hotel like 2 times, but, really, right now it has become obsolete, The first hotel I visited that does not have water(free) for the guest, no UBS co connect and charge the phones. Have to ask to change towels. Could not put the A/C , because they told me it was only in warm, and really, you close everything in this not so large room, you have to open de windows. Personnel were nice, except the one who checked us in, otherwise very nice. However they should modernize their hotel, its located in a beautiful spot, near everything. I was in a hotel facing a wall. (nice?)
Amazing area, nice place to stay.
Amazing stay
Amazing stay, location was good, hotel staff very professional and accommodating
Not a 4 star hotel
My wife and I stayed here for one night in October. It's is a very good location and the staff is friendly. Otherwise, this is a step up from a motel. Furnishings are shabby and outdated. Very few outlets, In the smallish rooms. TV is about 18 inches wide.. We had one bar of soap, one. Disposable toothbrush and one cheap sponge. And the cost was outrageous. $315.09 Euros per night.
Good location
Hotel close to Grand via. Felt safe at night. Plenty of places to eat
Nice hotel very well located, clean and convenient.
Great hotel
Great Location, Staff and comfort.
Great stay, convenient (walking distance) location to all of the LGBT hot spots, shopping, restaurants, etc. Hotel was very clean and staff was helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Great if you don't mind being warm
Gear location, service and cleanliness. The biggest drawback to starting here for me was the crappy air conditioning. It did not get cool and this I was unable to sleep.
Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, great location. Close to everything, including your choice of Metro stations. It's the third hotel I've stayed in while visiting Madrid and the best location of all.
.
Dust in room
The room was full of dust. Also after complaining, they said they'll clean the room but Nothing was done
Fantastic Location and large bathroom. Cons: small room, old bed and thin mattress, no usb charging outlets, over rated, old property.
Enjoyed the Hotel Stay
Front desk personnel were courteous, professional and customer service oriented. They answer all our requests and were very helpful. Housekeeping was exceptional. The hotel has a good restaurant. The location was very convenient and safe.
good location but I think its definitely NOT a 4 star I would give it 3 starts. Clean but small rooms and OLD. Need renovation.
The location was excellent in downtown Madrid.
This location is central in Madrid and close to a ton of great restaurants, bars and clubs. The staff was kind and helpful as well.
Excellent location. I will stay here again.
Very clean and wonderful staff, however, the outdoor noise was horrible and sleep was difficult till about 2:30 am
Excellent location just off the busy street so it was very quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
Excellent hotel in Madrid
Excellent reception service able to checkin early Room was incredibly clean, warm and inviting Altogether an excellent experience
Great stay, great value for your money!
A really cute, clean and classically European hotel. It’s nestled in a really beautiful part of Madrid. I was quite amazed. Very centrally located and my stay was without a single hassle and the staff was exceptionally friendly.
A/C - Heat units did not work. Extremely hot and not unto standard.
Great time in Madrid
Pretty good stay overall I love the location and the staff was very nice. I will definitely stay again.
Very good location
The hotel is a great location within walking distance of all attractions. The room had a kettle, but no tea or coffee was provided. The room and bathroom spacious, but it would have been nice to have a rug on the floor or some decoration on the wall to make it cheerier. All stuff were very helpful. Very friendly to pets
They air conditioning systems don’t work. The first night we stayed the sink was stopped up and they didn’t fix it until the next day. The only good thing is the location. The guy at the front desk was rude.
Good clean hotel
Good hotel in and good area. Clean and neat.
Happy!
The Only problem was with the mattress! To; but to mid! Some room should have mattress with more Carácter! Bad for people with back troubles! So please let them know!!! Claudio
Great value hotel in central Madrid
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, bright, spacious room. Good wifi, great shower. Excellent location in central Madrid, close to bars, restaurants and attractions. Great value for money.
El staff fue muy amable, el hotel está super bien ubicado. No me gustó que no tuvieran el aire acondicionado funcionando lo que nos dijeron es que solo lo ponen a funcionar en Verano.
Great location. Could use some renovation.
You will not regret choosing this property!
From the moment I check-in all the way to check-out, my stay was excellent with a front desk always happy and ready to assist you in any way possible! Even housekeeper was very friendly and approachable. Location is great with just one block away from La Gran Vía, surrounded by restaurants, bars, stores and nearby Starbucks!
There is nothing good about this property . No coffee in the room breakfast is served very late
Great location, wonderful staff, terrific room, and just a generally great vibe in staying here. Near many great restaurants & attractions. Everything was fantastic!!! We would stay again anytime!
Nice hotel; great location.
Excellent simple hotel by all the major sites. Very quiet even though it’s in the heart of the city. Some taxi may not know the place since it’s on the quiet part of the street.
Excellent
Hotel and front desk staff are very helpful and provide great service. The location is just fabulous for exploring the city. We would recommend for anyone to stay and would stay there if we are back in the city.
Rooms are large for Madrid. Service at front desk was really friendly and helpful. We had an inside room, very little noise if any. Bed and pillows were ok. Location is excellent. Will return.
Muy buen hotel, personal atento y muy amables. Buena localización para ir a comer, shopping y muchos bares alrededor.
The hotel has an excellent location and really nice staff. I definitely planing coming back here.
Good stay & a great location
We had a good stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The hotel is in a centrally located place, close to the city center, shopping, train, Royal Palace and other tourist sites. The breakfast has a wide array of choices both hot and cold and the breakfast buffet waiter is full of smiles! There is also a cafe right across the street and small grocery store just down the street. The only improvement would be to clean the grout in the shower better and install a better shower head. It is an older hotel, but very quaint!
Perfect location . Beautiful building! And I’m pretty good shape
Great place to stay! We were very impressed with the excellent downtown location and the spacious room at an affordable price. Staff was friendly and helpful. The tastey breakfast offered a most satisfactory selection and is included. Our only recommendation is that the cooling system be improved as we found it not sufficient to cool the room to our liking. We would certainly stay at the Lusso Infantas again.
Great breakfast and good location with a friendly staff!
Located on a quiet street, one block from major shopping and the beautiful architecture of the Fuente de la Cibeles area. Easy walk to Prado and Museo Thyssen and Botanical Garden. Restaurant will let you order a la cart for breakfast so you can have just cereal and coffee or whatever you please and not pay for the whole buffet. Good size bedroom and huge tiled bathroom. Friendly staff and very clean.
Excellent location and great staff - very helpful...
The hotel staff were very helpful and professional. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the heart of the city
Perfect Location
Great location, huge room, clean. The room was warm and too much so at times. The thermostat was not working properly but I managed to get it to a comfy temperature. The staff was kind. I would stay here again.
noisy surroundings
It situated on a street where quite many restaurants & bars opened for night time resulting noisy condition
Satisified with our stay
The hotel was quite nice. It was only a couple of blocks away from the metro. The area around the hotel seemed safe and was relatively quiet. And there seemed to be quite a few restaurants / tapa places near by.. I would like to give more information concerning the neighborhood of the hotel but unfortunately one of us had a bad cold and we did not explore as much as we would have otherwise. So I would certainly stay there again it just seemed to be a nice quiet place to stay. A caveat, of course, is that I have only been in Madrid once and have nothing for comparison purposes as far as value.
The hotel is ideally located in a walking distance from Prado museum, every tourist attraction is in very close proximity. Hotel stuff is pleasant and helpful, the room is large, new and very clean with modern huge bathroom. We chose not to use hotel breakfast as there is wonderful cafe across the street where one can get nice breakfast for less
Outstanding
Terrific staff, hotel and in a great location! Room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and a very quiet location. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Madrid.
Loved it and will definitely return.
We were very presently surprised by this hotel. It was clean with lots of great amenities. Best of all they gave us a phone with internet and local voice calls for FREE to use unlimited during our stay. We loved it since we could use GPS when out exploring. Would highly recommend and will definitely use this hotel again.
Old World comfort in a vibrant neighborhood
Arriving at the hotel late in the evening after too many hours in aircraft, it was great to be met with smiling reception and an upgrade to a suite. (The swank bathroom was larger than several European budget rooms I've stayed in.) I was there for only one night, but it was spent in comfortable surroundings -- no noticeable noise, high quality linens, old-world furnishings well maintained. Like most hotel breakfast buffets, this one wasn't a bargain, but there was a wide selection of hot and cold items, well prepared. The location on the edge of Madrid's vibrant Chueca district makes for easy walking to a multitude of bars and restaurants as well as major museums.
In the heart of Chueca, great location. Literally walking distance to many bars and cafes
Good Value with Pleasant and Helpful Staff
This hotel is a good value. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean, and the price is good. The Chueca neighborhood was my favorite in Madrid. It was great to be close to so many good bar and dining options off the main streets.
Great value... great location
A fantastic hotel set within the heart of Madrid! Brilliant value, excellent rooms with air conditioning and very helpful staff... the time just flew. Great location as you are surrounded by bars and restaurants and within easy walking distance of the main sites of Madrid.
Great long weekend in Madrid
The last three times I have been in Madrid I have stayed in this hotel. I really like his centric location and the fact that is close to public transportation. The rooms are big and confortable and the food is good too.
great location
The staff were extremely helpfull and couldn't be better. The hotel is very central with all amenities close by. We had a fantastic time in this really lovely hotel. Would well recommend staying here
Perfect hotel for a city break!
Perfect hotel for a city break! Location is great, in a quite area next to the busy center. Rooms are confortable and staff very friendly :)
Great location
The location of the hotel is excellent placing it within close proximity to the attractions in central Madrid. The hotel had only 1 staff person who covered all the services. In our experience, the bedside lamp did not have a working bulb and there was no replacement.
Awesome family travel
Excellent location closes to metro, bus stations and famous museums in the city center. The restaurant within the hotel provides good discount and menu for hotel guests
Central location
Overall the stay was great. The hotel is centrally located and everything is within a walking distance. Also, an express airport shuttle stop is 5 minutes away from the hotel. As everyone recommends, get a corner room and then your experience would be much better. I stayed in the hotel twice during my spain trip and spent first 4 days in a standard superior room, and the last night at the corner room. The difference between rooms is quite noticeable. Hotel staff was nice and helpful.. And was passioned with me while I tried to turn lights on in my room right after arrival..:) Also, don't get stack with a Starbucks that is across the street. There are so many tastier option for a breakfast in the area!
Only 5* review given out
This is the first 5* review I have ever given a hotel. Starts by being close to the Metro, though I would get off at Gran Via (light blue line) metro and walk down the hill to the hotel, which is a little further than Banco De Espana (red line) but is up hill. Both are reasonably close. So based upon comparative price as well as in it's own right, Lusso Infantas delivers in every way. Great location, clean, well serviced, very nice toiletries, large rooms and bathroom. No noise from next door or street. With absolutely nothing bad to say about the hotel. Air conditioning and everything just works to a high standard. Didn't eat at the hotel, so no comment there. Just be aware that most of the clubs around the hotel are gay nightclubs, so if you are looking for a night of clubbing, just check online first. Unless you plan to go to a gay club for the evening. You can check on the Hotels Wifi which is excellent from room to reception. Also restaurants around the corner, do NOT have English menus and do not speak English, so ordering blind off the menu is always fun. Or point to what other people are eating. But a small walk, you will find plenty of places which does have English menu's. Across the road there is also eco dry laundry mat (6 euros to wash and 2 euros to dry a load). But what really made Lusso Infantas go over the top is the reception. José M. at reception. This guy knew everything and nothing was a bother. He printed out my RyanAir boarding passes (will NEVER fly with them ever)... As RyanAir cancelled my flight out of Madrid, José worked out how to get me to Porto the cheapest and easiest way on the same day (2hr bus to Valencia and fly). Shame José M. can't get my refund from RyanAir for me. I pointed out all the things I had seen on the local map and José happily recommended some excellent highlights I had missed. I would say José English isn't perfect, but 'English me, no speak good great.' But his knowledge and love of Madrid really came through, as did his genuine well being for Lusso Infantas's guests. I highly recommend Lusso Infantas and hopefully if José M. is not at reception, the rest of the staff will maintain the high standards of the Hotel.
Research & Business
Awesome, will stay again! The staff is great. The place is immaculate. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms are new.
Business & Research Trips
You cannot get a better location for scholarly research, business meetings, and lovely dinners in fun neighborhoods in Madrid. Close to the best. The staff is super friendly and professional. They went out of their way to help me many times. I will continue returning to Lusso Infantas!
Madrid Experience
The picture of the hotel in the advertisement showed the corner of a tall building giving the viewer the impression that the entrance to the building was an open space. This was far from it. The hotel was located on a narrow street squeezed in on the left by building and on the right by another street. Feeling deceived by a false picture made me want to cancel the next two nights reservation. However, what I saw inside change my mind. My wife and I enjoyed our three nights. The location was ideal.
Can't get much more central in Madrid
The hotel is well within walking distance from everything. Its rather nice with big rooms. Good breakfast. But certainly it is the fact that you can get to the train station, the museums and downtown all in about 10 minutes that make this hotel worthwhile.
Friendly staff and unbeatable location downtown!
Staff is very friendly, Location is perfect, in the heart of Madrid, next to Gran Via, but in a quiet street. Walking distance to everywhere to enjoy the city.
Lovely Hotel in Heart of Madrid
Hotel Lusso Infantas is a great hotel for a getaway in Madrid. Its really near to the hustle and bustle of the Grand Via and Puerta del Sol but is located on a quiet street. Its in the lively district of Chueca so also has loads of restaurants and bars in its immediate vicinity. The hotel staff were really lovely and very helpful when it came to giving tourist information and recommendations for where to eat etc. Also as a bonus, the hotel is very near to the Metro Station Banco Espana and the Plaza Cibeles where an Airport Bus stops. Highly recommended.
Location Location
Really nice hotel with very helpful staff; but what stands out is the location... Just off the Gran Via down a smart side street (not seedy like other street less than 500 metres away) which means you can access the shops and restaurants just by walking under 5 minutes. The hotel is also just 3 minutes from the square where the airport bus stops/starts. Pros: great staff, good size rooms, clean. Cons: I've stayed in more luxurious 4 star hotels
Perfect Location.
Great Place in the center of it all. The staff was so helpful. We walked to many great restaurants and shopping and entertainment. Bus and metro easy access. Would definitely go back.
Lovely from all the aspects
Amazing staff that helped us with all the directions an maps, perfect location 7 minutes walking from Plaza Cibeles especially when you need to take a night bus to the airport, less than 2 min to Gran Via where u can find all what u need. Banco de Espana metro station just around the corner. Didn't try the breakfast. The room was a standard twin, spacious, air-conditioned with a small lovely balcony, perfect bathroom with bath tub and toiletories, free Wifi, safety deposit box, flat TV, and minibar. The room service was daily. The hotel contains 2 elevators. Overall it was an amazing stay and would definetly get back here to Lusso Infantas and Madrid !
Good Wholesome Hotel
Surprised to see such a clean, comfortable, and centrally located small hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect: blocks from the Gran Via, the Prado, and many small restaurants.
Excellent Hotel Value in Madrid
Centrally located just a couple blocks from the Gran Via this hotel offers clean, modern, comfortable rooms right in the heart of Madrid. Best hotel value I've had for quite some time.
Great value
Great neighborhood. Centrally located. Very reasonable price. Excellent breakfast although it costs 10 Euro. Can walk everywhere within 20 minutes or so, but off the main streets so kind of quiet. Great Thai place and beer garden around the corner a plus.
Great Boutique Hotel
Perfectly located, wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff, great restaurant - all over, would highly recommend this hotel
Spain Vacation
The Hotel was good. Location is great. Rooms are quite. The staff was EXCELLENT.
Chueca choice
If you want to be within walking distance of ALL the major important sites in the Centro but be in a hip neighborhood, check out this hotel. Tucked away just one block from the intersection of the Calle de Alcala and the Gran Via, one has amazing access to cafes, small restaurants, and bars, while being only a 5 minute walk from either Banco de Espana or Chueca Metro stations. This was our second stay at the Lusso Infantas in Madrid in as many years and this time we brought along family and friends who raved about their rooms as well.
Perfect Location and Comfy Accommodation
Our experience at Lussa Infantas was GREAT!!! So close to all the sights, shopping, and tapas and the staff was so attentive and helpful. It's right in the center of Madrid for easy walking to the Prado, Reine Sofia, and the Thyssen. Just several blocks away from Puerta del Sol, the center of Madrid, and the center of Spain!
Rest Time
Quiet, clean, very friendly. This hotel was perfectly placed for our rest in Madrid after walking the Camino de Santiago.
very good city break
very friendly helpful staff nice room excellent location
It was in centre of city
Easy access to Main Street as well as metro stations also near shopping centres .over all go hotel for relaxing
Terrific location for exploring Madrid
I stayed for 5 nights at Lusso Infantas. The location of the hotel is a bonus; one street back from the Grand Via and in easy walking distance to all central attractions (Prado etc) and it is in an interesting neighbourhood that is home to Mercado San Antoni - a great place to eat! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was quite good. The room I stayed in faced the street and was quiet most nights however there was street noise on the weekend, so for people who don't like noise maybe they could ask for a room that doesn't overlook the street. I hope to return to Madrid in the future, would happily stay at Lusso Infantas again.
Loud if you're room is facing the street!
This hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing and great restaurants and bars. You have a very nice balcony but be aware Madrid is a very loud city and all night long we were awake from the noise of the street..
Great place
Perfect combination of comfort and great location in downtown Madrid.
Excellent hotel, reat value right in city center
I definitely recommend this hotel. Price wise ($300 USD per 4 nights) this hotel is incredible considering it is actually 4 star hotel. The staff is very helpful and speaks great English. They also help with tour/walking options if you wish. Breakfast was not included, but one can get breakfast right there for 10 EUR no problem. I liked they had flexible breakfast hours for weekend party travelrs, so if you party and wake up late on Saturday/Sunday, breakfast is still served. I think until 11 AM. The hotel is centrally located (Chueca), kind of center of everything and one really does not need to use metro. Hotel is in walking distance to Sol, Latina (very much fun for party people) and other great places.
Wow!
I only a a one night lay-over in Madrid but I am so happy I chose the Hotel Lusso Infantas. Great location and facilities, helpful staff. Madrid is beautiful. Wish I had more time to explore it!
Idea weekend destination
Hotel was a great location to get to all the sights of Madrid, a 5min walk gets you to Cibeles fountain and the center of Madrid. Our room at the hotel was spacious with tea and coffee facilities provided and en suite bathroom was equally spacious. On our next visit to Madrid we would definitely pick this hotel again . All the staff we met during our stay was very friendly and helpful.
very nice
a little hard to find, even when the taxi drops you off right outside----or am I having a senior moment!! Great location next to 2 main boulevards. Turn the opposite direction and you are in narrow little lanes with lots of restaurants, bars etc. Staff very friendly, more so than most Spaniards.
Accessible to the main avenue and parks.
The hotel is located on a quite area, but very close to Gran via, walking distance. Also there are some restaurants and supermarket, nearby,
Lusso Infantas
Best: Location, location. Good: small, very nice/helpful staff, terrific value Not so good: a little old, not deluxe (although perfectly comfortable). Air condition is a little weak - avoid hot season. Bottom line: highly recommended, but less so in the hot season.
the staff was welcoming and very helpful. Our superior room was a lovely corner unit: nice size, light, and the bathroom was lovely. The location right on the edge of Chuecca and two blocks from the Gran Via was great. Extremely pleased with the hotel and would recommend it to anyone. The bed could have been a little more comfy -but I have a fabulous firm foam mattress at home so that isn't likely to be duplicated anywhere.
Good hotel, good location
No complaints. Good service, clean, modern rooms, surprisingly quiet for a downtown location. The hotel is just off the Gran Via, a short walk (about 0.4 km NE) from the Gran Via Metro (subway) station. The Palacio Real is a 1.7 km walk to the west, and the Museo del Prado is a 1.0 km walk to the southeast). There is a large shopping area (pedestrian only streets) extending south of the Gran Via station to the Puerto del Sol station. The restaturant at the hotel is quite good, especially if you order from the Menu del Dia (table d'hote).
This hotel is amazing
We loved this hotel. It is off of the main street so it is a little more quiet at night, but still within walking distance of most of the main sights. There is also a metro station within 5 minutes. I was very impressed with the level of English that the front desk employees spoke. I will be staying here again if I am ever lucky enough to visit Madrid again.

Great location, comfy bed, a/c works.
