The hotel has a pool which is great for hot days. There is also a restaurant and it is close to other things in the town.

Amazing hotel in Potes

Fantastic family run hotel just outside of Potes. The rooms were very clean, the staff friendly and the location was ideal for exploring the Picos region. It's no wonder that so many people recommend it. We had four nights there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

this hotel is perfect if you want to explore the area. It is ideally located, has ample parking and is easily accessible. its a short walk into Potes but also not to difficult a drive into amny of the other, less busy, villages. Tje hotel grounds are well kept, the pool looked inviting and the restaurant food good.

Lovely Family run hotel with good food

The hotel is in a great position for exploring the Picos de Europa and has a great family feel to it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The facilities are good and the pool is lovely. We had some good food here, both for lunch in the bar and in the restaurant. When there was an issue with the hot water, this was looked into and a plumber called to resolve the problem by the end of the day. The rooms are a little small and basic but are comfortable. I would recommend asking for. room a the rear of the hotel as there would be less noise from the road. It's a mile to walk into Potes where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our 3 day stay.

Good value for the money

Great hotel on the outskirts of Potes. A family run hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are clean and tidy with a good shower. Breakfast was busy and for the price paid for 4 rooms it was good value. Its a 20 minute walk into town which is nice when you are sat on your motorcycle for hours. Second visit and would stay again

Booked this last minute . Arrived to s beautifully looking hotel. Great check in with nice rooms. It's s family run hotel very friendly. Breakfast was all cooked fresh. Would stay again

An ok stay

We were half board. Evening meal was great but breakfast was not. Overall a decent hotel and we would stay again at the right price.

Room basic but reasonably quiet.

Had a lot of trouble changing the booking from 3 nights to two nights. This was not the Hotel’s fault but the way Hotels.com interact with the hotels. The room was supposed to have air con or a fan but it didn’t. As it was not too hot this did not matter. Staff were very friendly but had no idea what my free tour as a Silver member was for. Dinner not served until 8.30pm but very good value as menu of the day comes with a bottle of wine.

Very nice hotel but rather dated. Only 4 minutes away from beautiful Potes.

Fantastic experience

A beautiful old house in an old Spanish village very rural very peaceful and isobel is a fantastic host we had an evening meal which was fantastic would highly recommend

Pleasant stay

Has its own car park, and is only a short walk (20 minutes) into Potes which is a pleasant Village with a large selection of restaurants. We decided to eat at the hotel...which was very good. Hotel has quite a large outdoor swimming pool....if the weather permits! Less than half an hour ride to the cable car Fuente De .

Very comfortable room and a great view, short walk into Potes and a brilliant location. No one on check out at 8.15 in the morning - drinks very expensive at the bar.

Hotel was a nice place to stay in the mountains of Asturia or Cantabria, not sure... We spent just one night there to visit the San Toribio de Liebana convent. Potes, a very touristic place full of restaurant and shopping stores is at walkable distance. Room was somehow small but pleasant and clean. WIFI was slow but usable. Breakfast was good but it could be better... I'd rather prefer to pay a little bit more and have a good meal...

Great for touring the Picos

The room was fine. Nice friendly staff. Great value menu of the day. Biker friendly (we came on a motorcycle). The location is excellent for exploring the Picos. We would definitely recommend this hotel

When we arrived there was a wedding reception at the hotel which completely took over the hotel and was noisy into the early hours of the morning . Bathroom needs updating ..... Otherwise all good

Great hotel in a brilliant location

Great stay at the Hotel Infantando. We arrived late, cold and wet and the staff were really helpful. Making sure we had dinner before they closed the kitchens. We'll be back

Nice hotel close to Potes

We had a nice stay here for a couple of days while looking around the Picos de Europe.

Stayed here before on a number off occasions and will stay again. Great for location, scenery, friendly staff, good food. The only criticism I would have was the room was a bit cold in November.

Great hotel with smallish rooms

You need transport to stay here, but plenty of parking and a nice atmosphere. Only a double size bed, though.

Excellent hotel in beautiful location.

Planned to stay 1 night en-route to NW Spain but the hotel was so good we stayed an extra night. Service was great. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Beautiful location. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Outstanding value for money

All the staff at this hotel went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Our evening meals were excellent and remarkable value. The hotel had everything anyone could want including a lovely swimming pool. I recommend this hotel as a good central base for exploring the eastern side of the stunningly beautiful Picos de Europa.

Friendly helpful staff. Room on top floor was ok, but bathroom smelt a little musty when we arrived. Once aired it was ok. On main road so could hear some road noise. Nice terraces to enjoy a drink. Ok for a one night stop but would not want to stay longer.

Great value for money

It is in the centre of Arenas with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Largely quiet but parking is a little distance away in a public car park but free

We loved staying here !

really enjoyed this hotel with the spacious sitting rooms to read and relax in as well. Lots of parking space and the staff was pleasant. The swimming pool was nice as well.

A bit dated but perfectly fine hotel. The room was very clean and the shower was very good. Convenient location for Fuente De.

Wonderful hotel in mountains

We are a family of 6 - 2 adults and 4 teens. We had a wonderful stay at this very welcoming hotel. It has a real family feel and we felt very well looked after. We were given some tips on speaking Spanish and sampled Grandad's special mountain tea! The pool was lovely and great to relax by A beautiful area.

Comfy beds

Rooms on the front of hotel are above terrace of restaurant, experienced noisy party until1am, we were very tired! Spoilt for us what was otherwise avery nice clean good standard hotel.

Cute and Cozy

If you like a small town feel this hotel is perfect. My friends and I who are studying abroad stayed here for a night to see the Monasterio de Santo Toribio de Liébana and to go up to Picos de Europa. It has a cute and cozy home feeling complete with an adorable watch dog. They are helpful with questions about where to visit but they do not speak much English. You can just use the free WiFi in the lobby for google translate (:

Good family run hotel in superb setting.

Great place to stay to see the Picos Mountains. Good breakfast and plenty of free parking. The drive through the gorge to san Vicente is spectacular and the quaint small town of Potes only 3km away. Lots tp see and do on the area.

A great hotel near the medeival town of Potes

A lovely hotel, offering very good rooms and fantastic food, although breakfast wasn't quite as good the evening meals. The hotel is in a great location in the Picos De Europa near the medeival town of Potes - which is just about walking distance from the hotel.

Great value hotel

Hotel is excellent value. Wifi only available in reception. Only 1km from potes. Nice pool and hints of the spectacular views of the picos de Europa. Breakfast ok for the price.

Better than expected

Visited in October, hence a bit out of season. Easy to find, good restaurant and nice bar. Large car park. Staff very helpful even though it was quiet

Good breakfast, close to picos de europa park. In the evening go to potes. Supermarket is much better there.

Conveniently sited for a leisure holiday

Enjoyable stay, beautiful surroundings, staff friendly, helpful and efficient. However, comfortable easy chairs in the bar area would be an improvement as would an extra pillow for each bed, and coffee/tea making facilities in the room would have been appreciated.

It was wonderful. Service & friendlissness excellent.

It does the job

The views of the mountains are lovely and the rooms are decent and fairly clean, but the restaurant and the buffet breakfast left much to be desired. We were looking forward to coming down to a rustic northern Spanish breakfast spread but all we found were 1 tray of pre-bought boiled ham slices, another tray of bought pastries (not from a bakery) and some slices of bread next to a rotating toaster that squeaked so much we had to ask for it to be turned off. The breakfast room was so dark that they had to turn the lights on. All in all, it's fine if you just want to stay in Potes and not spend much time at the hotel.
