Great Design

Hotel Indigo is very lovely and within walking distance of the Duomo, etc. The friendly staff was excellent; the room spacious and the interior design was fantastic.

After lots of internet searching we finally settled on IHG Hotel Indigo and we are so glad that we did. The entire experience from check-in to leaving was excellent. Staff were exceptional, polite, professional and built an excellent rapport with us. Our very special trip was made even more memorable by the simple fact the staff were warm, lovely and so approachable. The usual IHG treats of sweets/nibbles in the lobby were welcomed. Sometimes hotel rooms can so big they lose the point of being a bedroom- to be welcoming, cosy and relaxing. This room was perfectly proportioned with quirky touches of hat lamps, a whisper of Milano grandeur with a luxurious canopy above the bed and a large window. The bed was divine! Our room had a beautiful roof terrace; even in December it was a lovely little haven in a very busy city. The public outside area with giraffe chandelier was gorgeous- we sat outside under a heater and drank our drinks- perfecto! Breakfast- the choices of various meats, cheeses, pastries, breads, fruits, juices, cereals and hot breakfast items were plentiful and more than sufficient. The only criticism we had was the hot breakfast items were cold, we did not comment on the day as this really was insignificant in the grand scheme of things. There was so much more food to eat- we did not starve! Our entire experience was exceptional. Milan was lovely, we walked over 14 miles in 24hrs- hotel was in great location and quiet! We will return. Grazie mille.

The only thing was that the air conditioning was spotty and the room only slightly cooled down.

Modern hotel very near the main areas with fun room decor; staff makes you feel welcomed. Excellent breakfast. In general we had a positive experience.

Very Cool Hotel!

This is a centrally located hotel. It is walking distance to everything. The staff are extremely helpful and the hotel is sassy!

We have stayed in other indigo hotels throughout the world. This one is about average. Nice bathroom, linens and breakfast but the staff struggled with transportation issues. However they were able to arrange a driver one day to take us for a tour of the city. That was fantastic and I got to practice Italian because the driver was bilingual.

Exceptional service, beautiful rooms

I travel often for business and pleasure and was delighted with my stay at the Hotel Indigo. Our room was beautifuly decorated, had all the needed amenities and the front desk staff was top notch! Shout out to Giorgio for all his help! Our only snag in the stay was a broken iron and a replacement was sent up within 5 minutes. Great boutique hotel and lovely location.

A Delightful Stay at Hotel Indigo Milan We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Indigo in Milan. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and helpfulness stood out—they truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the **breakfast buffet**. It was beautifully presented with a wide selection of delicious options to start the day. The atrium area where breakfast is served was particularly charming, providing a serene and elegant atmosphere to enjoy our meal. Our room was another high point—it was not large, but was immaculately clean and well-appointed with every amenity you could possibly need. The attention to detail in the room made it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's location was also ideal, being a short 15-minute walk to the Duomo and major shopping areas. This made it incredibly convenient to explore Milan's main attractions, all while enjoying the peacefulness of the neighborhood. Overall, Hotel Indigo Milan exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a place that combines comfort, convenience, and top-notch service. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Milan!

We enjoyed our one night stay here prior to leaving Italy. Great location with less than 10 minute walk to the main square and shopping.

Amazing customer service!!!

Amazing stay. It was a last-minute booking, made just a couple of hours before check-in. We had checked into another hotel nearby and realised that our room in fact wasn’t big enough for three adults so had to find another spot for my daughter. Upon check-in Ryan was welcoming and efficient, and when we got up to our daughter’s room we found that he had put her in a spacious suite. Absolutely incredible. Ryan went above and beyond, and made our daughter’s stay relaxing and comfortable. Thank you for making a tricky situation a wonderful memory!!!

Very normal

The lobby furniture is very uncomfortable. Designed as if they don’t want you to sit down. The restaurant was decent but very understaffed. So the service wasn’t great. And it often smelled like smoke from the atrium. Also, the restaurant is open only for breakfast hours and dinner hours, so you can’t eat anything there — it should consider having more hours than the outside restaurants for guest convenience. No pool or bar. Great distance from shopping and Duomo if that’s of interest.

Great location, about five minutes away from the Duomo. Very friendly staff overall great hotel.

Given a handicap accessible room which is fine but was on ground level looking at a parking lot with a connecting door - no chair for the table, shower handle wouldn’t turn, low sink faucet sensor wouldn’t work, blow dryer was broke and had a connecting shared room. Had to take a work call which management was aware of & neighbor complained they could hear this call - thru said door - management offered no solution or area to do this. Expensive for what I actually got.

The staff was very accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

An excellent hotel for our one night stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had been upgraded to a room with a roof terrace balcony which was amazing. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Room service dinner and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel if going to Milan again.

Hotel is in a perfect spot to walk the old city, staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, room was spotless and beautiful and very comfortable; made all the difference in our (short) stay. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area but only a 10 walk to the church & shopping. The staff were very professional and when I was shown my room on the first floor (travelling alone) I asked for something higher up and was given a lovely quiet room on the 5th floor with a view. Excellent breakfast! Secured parking 1/2 block away! I would highly recommend this hotel in Milan!!

Staff was 10 . I was on street side, 5th floor, and could hear conversations on the street let alone vehicle traffic. A good bit noisy. Rooms on courtyard must be better. On site food was average at best. But well located to central Milan points of interest.

Our two night stay was excellent. Beautiful property and attentive staff. Location is walkable to Duomo and shopping/dining. When our flight was cancelled and we returned for an extra night, Chiara at reception recognized us immediately and was very sweet which really brightened our day. We highly recommend the Indigo and will return!

This was my 4th time staying in this hotel. The hotel staff were fantastic . and the design is beautiful.

Real gem in a heart of a big city. Don’t be confused by unimpressive facade, the hotel is beautiful with beautifully decorated rooms, nice bathroom super comfortable bed. Literally a few minutes from Milan Cathedral and square, shops, also walkable to Fortress and Arch.

Boutique hotel , super friendly stuff , very nice art creative lobby Restaurent . Location is central in a very nice block . Price was a little high due to the period perhaps .

Staff was accommodating and very friendly! Extremely clean and beautifully decorated environment!

Our room had two issues: 1.- Noise: We could perfectly hear conversations and bathroom noises (flushing, water running) of our next door neighbor. 2.- Size: Room was very small with an disproportionate large bathroom with a sink tub and separate shower.

Good location walking distance from Duomo & Galleria. Staff all very friendly & helpful. Breakfast selection very good. Decor in courtyard & lobby a bit weird. Only complaint was the shower door did not block water from leaking into bathroom. We had to put towels down on floor to catch the water.

We stayed for 2 nights, beautiful hotel, high ceiling, comfortable bed, clean and like to central lighting controller. The hotel is situated in a quiet street, walking distance to all the major attractions. Breakfast is delicious. I will recommend to my friends and family.

Hotel indigo is perfect for short stays(we stayed 2 nights) although the room was small, we reserved one with a large balcony where we enjoyed our drinks. Bathroom was large and very clean. Our queen bed was comfortable for my husband and me. The gym was adequate. The inner courtyard and lobby were very cute. Staff was friendly. The hotel’s location allowed us to reach the Duomo area in 15 minutes. Not many restaurants next to hotel but we found a great one close by thanks to the staff. All in all it was a pleasant hotel and a pleasant stay.

The room is beautifully decorated and clean. Very spacious with lots of seating. Huge bathroom. Within 10-15 minutes to Duomo, shopping and restaurants. Will definitely go back. FYI- there’s a Chinese restaurant next to the hotel and it’s great. Having eating Italian food for 3 days, I needed some Asian food. Lol.
