Love this dog friendly hotel

AMAZING PLACE

Despite a few housekeeping issues during my last stay—including a fingernail on the desk, hair on a towel, and a blood stain on a sheet—I still always make a point to stop at this hotel when I'm in the area. I'm hoping these were just a one-time occurrence.

Good location to downtown. Easy in and out.

Excellent check in. Friendly and fast. Room was great. Clean. Nice shower. We will be back.

Absolutely loved this hotel. It is adorable. The room and staff were fantastic. The only issue I had was the hot tub had so much chlorine in it, it turned my brand new swim suit from navy to gray and the white part brown.

A pup named Tripp is a resident here! Very unique hotel

They have a lobby resident dog. Very friendly, but not over whelming. Nice touch to make you feel welcome.

I am 4'11 and the beds were too tall. I had to step on the upholstered chair to get on the bed. Not good. I enjoyed my stay except for the above problem.

We only stayed one night. But I have stayed 2 other times here. The hotel is clean, rooms are nice. Beds are AMAZING. Nice area of town.

Nothing really stood out to me for my liking, except for the employees doing their jobs, being very professional and extremely helpful in every field. Very pleased with everything, im so glad i mafe the dicision to stay at Indigo!

Excellent location for walking to all areas of the city. Friendly staff and good amenities. The breakfast menu was a nice change to the usual buffet and I recommend purchasing breakfast with reservations. Coffee machine is a Keurig which is a plus.

Everyone very friendly

The front desk staff was very friendly, outgoing and helpful with anything we needed. They had a wonderful breakfast menu (only suggestion is coffee creamer). Food was definitely toddler approved too! The kids commons is with in walking distance, perfect spot to stay when you’re traveling with a little. Rooms were VERY clean! The pool area was a great place to relax as well. When we reserved the indigo, not knowing what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be looking for indigo hotels for future travels!

We've stayed here 4 other times, it's a good halfway point for travel from GA to WI. Will definitely stay again.

It was the best location for a walking tour of the fascinating mid-century architecture of Columbus. The price included an outstanding breakfast. Two things I would change; the beds, though comfortable, were too high. You couldn't sit on the edge of the bed with your feet on the floor, for example. Second, there should be a luggage rack for each person staying in the room.

Very family friendly!!! We loved the little dog Tripp, and the staff was amazing, especially front desk clerk Kim. She was front desk on Thursday July 4, and Saturday July 5. She was so helpful with our questions and went above and beyond on hospitality! We will definitely tell others to stay at Hotel Indigo Columbus. Our only disappointment was that there isn't complimentary breakfast.

Superb hotel in a quaint small city. Excellent service. Comfy bed. Definitely worth it to get the breakfast tickets — otherwise you would spend a fortune on breakfast at their restaurant.

Location is great - within walking distance to downtown Columbus. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Tripp their pet ambassador is a treat. The room was spacious and bed comfy.

We enjoyed all of the unique artwork and mention of local history. Our room just seemed a bit run down and we found hair around the room that wasn’t ours.

NOT Art Deco and cold shower

This is NOT an “art deco” hotel, as they wrongfully declare in their advertising. We chose this hotel because of that claim.. disappointing. Yes it has some colorful interior design, but that’s not art deco. Room shower was cold for a long long time, waiting for the water to warm.

A really nice hotel. Rooms were clean, property was quiet. Pup at the front desk. Whats not to like?

Love the location. We could walk to everything. Hotel staff in all areas were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Delicious & a good value. The room was very comfortable & clean. Plenty of space & nice amenities. Will stay here again.

The staff was so friendly! And also very helpful. I called to explain we were stuck in traffic during our travels and would arrive very late. They helped speed up the registration process so we could get up to our room quickly. We loved everything about the hotel, especially adorable Tripp, the hotel dog! I gave four stars for facilities only because we had trouble with our shower. Everything else was perfect!

Staff were absolutely great. Especially front desk lady, Kim! Room was clean and quiet. Best stay I've had in Columbus. Will not be staying anywhere else in the future.

Property seemed dingy around the edges. I stayed here when the space was new and it seems like now they haven’t done necessary improvements or maintenance. The pool was clean but there were no towels and everything was thrown about it seemed. The man who checked us in was not friendly at all.

Fire Alarm all night

Fire alarm went off all night it was horrible. No sleep I want refunded what a horrible stay.

Gorgeous property!!! Very fast check in!! Breakfast is made to order, restaurant style. It was very delicious. The room was very clean. Thick, clean blankets. Bathroom was spotless. Microwave and coffee maker in the room. Stand up shower. I loved it there and will return if I’m in the area. 😊😊… pool is just really small and hot tub even smaller.

My shower was cold.

Fun but some problems

It was great to have a mascot dog Tripp but unfortunately I got dermatitis from the bed. I had to go to the doctor to check and make sure it didn't become infected. So I recommend if the customers have sensitive skin should be cautious about staying there.

Not much the hotel could do about this, but the wind made howling noise around our window. We stayed on the 4th floor. Then, Sunday morning, we were awakened by the cleaning staff yelling over the sound of their vacuum cleaners.

It was a great place. We would give it 10/10 Definitely would come back.

Beat all expectations. Amenities of a more expensive hotel. Great location, too, near park and downtown.

Very welcoming hotel, clean and close to everything we traveled for. A little noisy from outside traffic and the when flushing the toilet it was super loud. Overall fairly priced and would stay again!

Convenient and great breakfast.

Very clean. Unique decor in the lobby and throughout entire hotel. The balcony in our presidential sweet was nice to have! 5 stars!

It is very close to coffee shops, restaurants and breweries. Fun place to stay if you want to walk around town. The Christmas lights in downtown Columbus were beautiful! Trip the dog was worth the stay alone!

Ill always stay here when in the Columbus area!

Trip the hotel dog

I had an excellent stay. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were spacious, clean and slept like a baby thru the night. I highly recommend this hotel. What I liked best of all is the hotel dog, TRIP! He’s adorable.

It has a unique design. The room was nicely decorated and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was quiet.

Gem in Columbus

We went to Columbus to get away for a few days. Its proximity to Brown County State Park and its rich architectural heritage drew us there. The hotel was fabulous. At checkin, they made sure we knew about the ethnic festival being held downtown. Room was terrific—spacious, bright and quiet. We could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and architectural sites downtown. The ethnic festival was a nice surprise. Loved Zaharakos Ice Cream parlor and its museum. Food in the hotel was quite good and they have an adventurous bar tender serving craft mixed drinks. We will stay there again!!

Great location but not a super great hotel

Reviews were great so I expected too much perhaps. The location was outstanding. The bed was comfortable (and really high, but we're tall). But the hot tub smelled mildewy (they were servicing it as we left, which is good), the shower took forever to get hot, but once it did, pressure was great, and I pulled out a clean hand towel to use and it was filthy. So, overall, a bit disappointed for the price.

Loved the easy access to downtown. It was clean and eveyine was friendly. I loved meeting Tripp the in house pet dog! I would definitely stay here again!!!

Not at all what we expected

While the hotel is pleasant, the bed was so uncomfortable that we couldn't sleep at all Rooms needed serious upgrades, and maintenance attention It was sub-par for an IHG property and a very disappointing one time experience!

JUST GREAT!!

We were visiting for my 65th Class Reunion from Columbus North High School. We loved our room... and the great breakfasts. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent stay all the way around. Also enjoyed the resident doggie playing with its toys and chasing the ball in your beautiful lobby. Great, great! Will book again on any future trips to Columbus. Mary Beth (Beesley) Bott

We had a great girls get-away this weekend. The beds were very comfortable. The hottub and the bar were very convenient. We loved the location since it was easy to walk to restaurants.

Great, whish hot tub was hotter

There was a lady really unhappy about something and was abusing the young man behind the check in counter the evening of 7-11-23. He handled it with much aplomb and poise.

Very cool hotel.

The hotel was very nice. The decor was very cool and my room was really nice. Super comfy bed. Room was very clean. Location is great. I recommend this hotel.

A pretty good place walkable to downtown

I stayed here when I did the architectural tour and found it convenient for that and for dining downtown and at the brewery down the street. My only complaints are the TV doesn’t have a guide so you have to channel surf, and the view of the post office parking lot across the street is ugly, even if the other side of the building is a landmark.

2nd time around.

Complementary breakfast was only adequate. No buffet and limited free choices. Staff was friendly. Allie, the waitress in the dining area was outstanding. This was our 2nd stay in 3 years. We would stay again if the occasion arose.

Walk to Everything

Superb staff. Superb location. Fun, quirky hotel. You can walk to everything in town from this spot. Also the extra cost for breakfast is well worth it. It is not a buffet, you actually order what you want off the menu, and your food is served to you.

After a long day of travel, nothing could have made my day more than a dog "employee" in the lobby. What a sweet addition. The pup was there when I checked in and sitting at the lobby desk when I checked out. Amazing. The hotel was clean, the room was great, and the staff was nice. The only complaint I had was not the fault of the hotel - there must have been a baseball tournament this weekend and the boys were a little rowdy/loud, but they are kids so what can you do? It was quiet by 11pm, so not a big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is excellent! Can't say enough good things about the cleanliness and friendliness! The restaurant has amazing food for amazing prices. And I can't forget ..they have a dog that lives there. 😍

The staff was attentive and friendly from the cleaning lady, Jess, to the breakfast waitress to the front desk attendant. The hotel is spotless and the design is simple and modern. Great experience. Tripp is the best little hotel ambassador.
