Stale smell in room upon arrival but otherwise a solid stay
Such a quaint getaway. Not super close to the hustle and bustle but a less than 10 minute walk from sixth Street and many main Austin attractions. Lots of food stalls around and lively night crowd, but still peaceful enough to get a good nights rest. The room wasn’t bougie, but it got the job done and was very clean. Would highly recommend if you want to spend the extra dollar to be able to park your car($45 valet) for the days that you’re there and walk to your destinations
Place is clean don’t eat the bar or restaurant as 6 th street is very close ! Beautiful hotel and very nice staff that is helpful and courteous and finally very accommodating! Got me through a bind !
i believe you can find a better hotel for the price.
Very simple hotel, good for quick work trips. The staff was very friendly and the location is great, just a couple of blocks from the convention center.
Great hotel
Lots of homeless nearby.
Would not stay here again!
Stayed on the 10th floor, king size room. Condition of the room was poor. Bathroom floors clearly need to be replaced. Water from the shower seeping into the floors. Also, condition of the furnishings was subpar. Headboard was worn out, tearing. Breakfast was good, service was great but due to the condition of the room I will not be returning.
Loved this place, it will be my go to place to stay when in Austin from now on. The staff was amazing.
Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and had a very comfy bed. However your valet could not drive a stick so we paid $40 to park and retrieve our own vehicle. But all in all it was a nice stay
Hotel Indigo was a great place! Close to all kinds of restaurants and bars and a food truck lot right across the street! Parking is non- existent, but they do offer valet for a nightly charge. Bar and restaurant inside the hotel. Amazing views and very clean rooms. The bathroom is very spacious with full sized soaps and shampoos. The mirror is lit and heated. We will definitely be back. Great customer service as well.
Loved the location
Great location & friendly staff!
Would of been a 5 star review but unfortunately valet broke my key fob and did nothing about it so now I’m out another $500 to get a new car key and get it programmed to my vehicle…. I gave them another chance because I had another meeting this past weekend and the hotel itself is comfortable and they broke my SPARE KEY FOB!! no explanation no help NOTHING!! hotel said it’s not their fault it’s valets but valet at THEIR HOTEL … that valet company represents the hotel and it not a good look ! Valet employee said this happens more often than it doesn’t …. Horrible !!!
No breakfast service at 8AM
Everything was great except that when I went to the restaurant for breakfast around 8AM, there was nobody taking orders. I called out “hello” multiple times from the counter toward the kitchen and nothing. I was told that breakfast was supposed to be served starting at 7AM. So that is my only complaint.
Highly recommend this location. Walkable to many places and staff was amazing!
Noisy. Even midweek, so don’t plan on quiet on weekends. They ear plugs, but I cannot use them. I used an app and thankfully was tired enough. Staff was great. Hotel itself is fine, clean. Area was walking distance to some tourist areas, but some surrounding areas were dirty and many sidewalks blocked and people begging for money, though I never felt unsafe even as a solo female traveler. Bus travel is available though more limited than I’m used to.
Well appointed. Fresh clean
Indigo Austin
Nice hotel, clean and friendly staff.
Amazing would stay again..
Such a cute boutique hotel. Loved it. Will be back
Room 602 is directly across from a nightclub that plays music too loud until 2:00 everynight - why would they put anyone in that room or on that side of the hotel? Bar open untill 10:00pm
Just a great place to stay!
Great staff welcome to the property and friendly and answered my questions i had.
Staff was amazing, perfect location. Just wish the televisions were updated where we could see what’s on tv at least or able to log into Netflix.
Comfortable bed, convenient to downtown and East Austin.
Underwhelmed
Ordering room service was a waste of time. Hour plus wait for ice cold food to be delivered in a take away box and a plastic bag, cappuccino machine was down so asked for a latte and got black coffee. They did remove the meal charge from the room. Valet was very underwhelming for $45 when theres no self park option. Waited and at one point they claimed they couldnt find our car. Overall not bad but those two things would make me think twice about rebooking .
Friendly staff , great location , walkable
Great location. Nice hotel. Convenience to everything.
Excellent place to stay
Another great stay at hotel Indigo. Only issue was the sheets on the fold out couch weren’t very clean.
Super friendly staff and clean rooms! Was quite impressed. Noise from the nearby club was noticeable but we stayed up late anyway so it didn’t bother us but they do offer ear plugs and (if needed) sound machine. Very hip and youthful vibe. Nice overall!
5 star
Thumbs up
Close to food options and night clubs
Service was excellent. Buffet was terrible and way overpriced. For $400 a night, you should be able to get some free coffee downstairs. Rooms were a bit dated and worn.
Great location - walked to tailgate and football game. Has the things that come with a downtown hotel - noise from bars/bands next door and expensive parking. Great staff, comfortable room.
Staff is outstanding and location very good. Hotel is clean but worn. Needs to be updated. Chairs are tattered in rooms.
Modern facilities and the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. It’s the experience that everyone wants in a hotel.
It was the perfect location for the events I had downtown Austin. I was able to walk to several places I needed to be and if not such a quick easy Uber ride away.
Located next to venues with outside live music and noise level was loud and played til past midnight. Was unaware of valet only parking so was not pleased about that and the high price of valet.
There’s a concert venue 2 doors down - noisy at night but they offer noise reduction implements Great bar in the lobby
Awesome trip
Amazing. Close to local bars and food trucks that were neat.
Checked in. No problens. Friendly staff
The hotel and staff were great - but the noise level was horrible. It is across from an outpost concert hall and next to a night club. Traveling for leisure might have been ok, but I was there on business and didn't realize that it would be so noisy.
The property was nice overall however not for us. Walking outside is full of homeless people and had a terrible smell, I know not the hotels fault but I wouldn't stay in that area again. Good restaurant options around, had a band playing at night which gave a good lively vibe. Staff weren't the best, no option but to valet park and forced to tip as per American standards. When removing suitcases from car there was no offer to help in anyway. Knowing that Im leaving my car in this persons hands made me feel like I should tip even though not deserved. When checking out we mentioned that we found personal items from the previous guests and there was no acknowledgement. Bedding was nice and comfortable.
Good experience overall. It’s Austin. Expect lots of nightlife in the surrounding area.
good location
Good place to stay
I didn't like the parking situation. Basically your choices are public parking or valet for $40/day.
The hotel was fantastic from the unique decor to the wonderful and helpful staff. The rooftop pool was such a delight especially as it was a hot few days. If your looking for a great hotel in Austin this is the hotel for you
Easy walk downtown austin
Pros: Great location, good service, nice pool, clean, attentive staff. Cons: room needed some refreshing. Chair was worn to threads on the arms and back. Shower door did not close completely. Holder for shower head was loose. Vanity paint all worn off on shelf.
We loved that it was across the street from music venue we were attending, good food options nearby, staff was friendly.
The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, staff is very helpful and friendly, beds are very comfortable so overall it was great. But the neighboring bar Cheer Up Charlies played the loudest music Ive ever heard until they closed at 2am, so we did not sleep well until the middle of the night. If I were to book again I would try to get a room on the opposite side of the building at least.
Booked the hotel and it says Hotel Indigo but really its just a holiday inn express even has the signs lol. The hotel check in was great and all the staff was kind and helpful. Thanks to the bartender by the pool he was new there but super helpful for service and recommended some good stuff. Now the hotel condition and amenities. Hotel needs a makeover and get there ac vents cleaned as they were mouldy and noisy. Pool needs to be cleaned better. And the bench outside the front has people that just live there like its shift work. Hotel rooms need a major reno as well. Will be back to Austin but not be staying at holiday indigo for those prices.
Beautiful and clean place to stay at!
Austin weekend getaway
Everything was great! Thank you!
The noise was absolutely out of control! Impossible to sleep!
Walking distance to food trucks and 6th street
It was a really good place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful
very nice hotel !
it was really nice , beds were comfortable, and everyone was very welcoming , parking wasn’t the greatest but it’s down town so there’s not much to do about it, had used toilet paper in the room which i wish there was new ones but it wasn’t a big deal but everything else was great , super clean , would stay again !
Everything was great. The only thing was our A/C was really loud and rattled.
Friendly staff and a nice clean room
Beautiful view
Amazing hotel. Loved the valet parking they had if you got that parking spot package. Worth it
Friendly and caring staff!!!
Unsafe hotel and staff unprofessional
The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy and the pillows were nice. The breakfast service was extremely slow and my meal which was bacon and eggs were served basically cold. The meal was expensive too. Otherwise, my stay here was enjoyable
Great place nice, clean and friendly staff.
Great stay!
The front desk guy and the valet couldn't have been better. Definitely not a spot if recommend to walk around with your kid, as there aren't many places for them, but if you're child free and want a bar it's your spot.
11/10
If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would! Everything was great from check in to check out! Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. It is also in a good location for going downtown or to moody center! I would definitely stay here again!
It's a walk away from 6th street. The rooms are nice. Staff is excellent.
Pool amd amenities are good. It's convenient to 6th St & downtown. The downside is the PARKING. I was charged $86.60/2 nights even thought I told the lady I was VIP ams Silver St
This hotel will always be my hotel for Austin. The rooms are great and the service all around is great.
This is my second time staying here and I love it! The staff is always friendly, it’s clean. It’s in walking distance to 6th Street and some good restaurants.
Had a great stay
Chairs where old
Loud
Great hotel but bar next door was extremely loud music shut off at exactly 2 am
…
Expedia gave me one price I had to pay another price higher $120 higher. Valet parking was supposed to be free.
I was hoping for a better pool experience. Especially in the summer. No bar service. Pool was dirty. Found a straw in water. Towels were available but not pool towels. They were very small. Had to use 3 to cover the chair. There was no music. Just felt low budget.
Loved the hotel but sleep was difficult as it was very loud.
Rrochelle at the front desk was particularly helpful during our stay, with recommendations of places to eat ant things to do. Thank you.
Good walking distance from 6th street, nice pool area with seating, good overall for price.
Great location to party. Not great for a quiet sleep.
Good location to stay for 6th street activities.
Good location, price and clean. Service was ok. More of a kids and family environment at the pool if that is what you are seeking.
Austin
Very pleasant
Awesome place! Paul D
Suggestion
I will recommend this hotel to others, but guests should always call the cleaning team to request room cleaning in the morning. I suggest that the supervisors of this hotel encourage the cleaning team to be proactive in maintaining room cleanliness.
Never again
Booked and paid for 1 night at this property. The room itself was just ok, felt musty and damp, even with the AC on. Pillows were flat and lumpy. Shower pressure was weak. Proximity to restaurants and entertainment is great, though. Unfortunately, my son became very ill. We are from Corpus Christi, 3 hours away from Austin, and with an approaching tropical storm, I felt it best to check out and get him back home to get him medical help. Instead of leaving the key cards in the room and leaving, I took them to the front desk. I had paid $40 for valet parking and had to retrieve my car from the parking garage myself with a sick child in tow. Upon return home I noticed I was charged $75 for early departure fee, even though I had already prepaid for the whole night. I called and talked with Ryan, who after explanation of circumstances, agreed to waive the charge. The fact I was billed this additional fee in the first place is enough to deter me from ever staying at another IHG property again. The quality does not match the price.
No Bartender
The stay was good. The only problem was when we wanted a drink, there was no bartender.
This property is normally one of our favorites! This property is gorgeous, in a prime location, is considerate of their guests and smells absolutely incredible. I suggested my best friends stay here as well as part of a weekend getaway, and this stay was different. The AC unit was struggling in our room and was noisy. My friends went out completely and she wound up leaving. 😞 I will stay here again but I do hope it’s a better experience.
Roof top pool was amazing.
Hotel property was great
MOLD
Room smelled super dank! We saw black mold in AC vent and on wall. Furniture worn and nasty! Awful
Front desk was very nice and put us in a suite. We loved it.
The staff and valets were so friendly and welcoming.
Great hotel in an awesome location! Tons of drinking and dining options within walking distance. On-site restaurant, Ladybird Kitchen, is really convenient and tasty too. The floor we were staying on was slightly humid for some reason. But over all great stay!
Loved this hotel! I will be staying again!

One elevator was not working, the hallways and elevator areas were very worn. Carpet in public areas was very worn. The refrigerator was extremely noisy.
