Great location. Lovely Reception Staff. Great breakfast. Yes, there is a bar on the 3rd floor, which is noisy at night, but it didn't cause us a problem.

Nice hotel in a good location, 6min walk to the old town with many restaurants and shops. The staff and service were excellent. Roof top breakfast was wonderful. The room size is good. A 4stars hotel should have a kettle in the room and a better TV.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Best part of Palma. Best breakfasts Best views from great Sky Bar ( pricey but you’re on your hols ) Fabulous staff - especially Paola on reception, who could not have been kinder or more helpful. Bit noisy with people having fun but get yourself a junior suite with no outside view on the second floor for a good nights sleep if you need it. Second time here and we’ll be back. Thank you Hotel Hostal Cuba. You are amazing xxx

This is such a nice boutique hotel. Small but big on service. Very accommodating and helpful of all of your needs. The location is perfect as it is conveniently within walking distance to everything you may want. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

This hotel needs to decide if it's a hotel or a nightclub, your paying customers have no sleep and disruption from your skybar is disgusting, would not recommend this hotel to anyone and the staff need to care about more about your hotel guests instead of focusing only on the drinkers.

A little jewel in Santa Catalina District of Palma

Godt beliggende + venligt og kompetent personale. Morgenmads buffet kan ikke helt følge det ellers høje niveau. Aircon og vandhane fungerede ikke ret godt. Vi havde et fint ophold på 4 dage.

Good location for sight seeing and fine restaurants. Hotel service was excellent, very helpful. Breakfast was served in the sky bar with the morning sun with great views. Excellent.

Stylish, lively with a great location.

The hotel becomes a destination in its own right at the weekend with the roof-top bar and DJ’s. The food was good - breakfast with a view up on the roof is a real treat! The area is lively with good restaurants and bars all around - just a few minutes walk into the old town of Palma - and the beach so excellent location !

Beautiful property

Great location, great service

Fantastic location! The breakfast buffet is a terrific spread with a wide variety of delicious options and the roof top terrace is fantastic. The hotel staff is top notch and was very helpful with some of my travel plans and made me feel instantly welcomed. The food in the first floor restaurant was great, too. The one draw back to be prepared for is that at night the terrace offers up bar service and it goes very, very late with music that resonates through the building. The final night was terrible and it felt like the subwoofer was in my room and was very difficult to sleep. The location really was great - within a 15 minute walk you could cover all the major attractions, shopping areas, and hit the beach. It was roughly a 20€ cab ride from the airport and 15€ to the ferry terminals.

The rooftop bar was lovely, breakfast was very good. It was a bit noisy and was unable to leave window open. Also would have liked coffee making facilities in room

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is very tastefully renovated and decorated. The breakfasts are served on the roof top terrace and are very relaxing. Our lovely room had two balconies and overlooked the cathedral and port. It is ideally located near the centre and in the Trendy Santa Catalina area. The staff were extremely helpful.

Vibrant Hotel

Great Hotel. lots happening - stay up late! Great staff, very helpful and easy to get help with attractions if needed. Hotel food is stunning try their restaurant. Try the Sky Bar lots of fun even for an oldie like me!! Hotel is only a short walk from all the attractions - the contemporary art gallery is just 10 minutes away. Try the bus sight seeing tour to get you orientated, well worth it. Lots of bars nearby and only a few minutes walk away; traditional tapas and all other nationalities. Jazz bar 15 minutes walk away.

Great hotel with super genuinely friendly and helpful staff, way outshines anything in the U.S. Rooms nicely appointed and very well kept. Great breakfast venue with very good selection. Great location. Although windows were double glazed a lot of street noise from bars and restaurant areas directly below came in through frames. Happy to return to stay again. Great Location, only issue being the aircon was running hot, it wouldn't cool down, luckily I had a door that I could open.

Fab hotel and location, staff very friendly. Room available when we arrived at 11.30am 5-10 min walk right to centre of Palma . Loved it!

Everything in our stay was great, but room on the 1st floor had too much noise from the bar/club on the ground/underground level.

Lovely hotel. Very lively in an excellent location. Great rooms. We were upgraded to a split level suite. Nice breakfast in a great spot on the roof overlooking the marina of Palma - a great view. Overall an excellent, clean, modern hotel with nice, friendly staff. The only downside is it can get a bit noisy at night due the rooftop bar being a local hotspot. Other than that, a hotel I would recommend and would be my choice of residence should I visit Palma again in the future.

I have seen this hotel many times in Palma and decided to give it a whirl. From the moment We arrived it was a welcoming freindly service. Room was large and spacious. Breakfast on the roof was a nice way to start the day, morning breakfast staff made the experience so much better, then to start to the evening with cocktails up there was simply the best. The staff and atmosphere is what sets this hotel apart! Only downside is the noise, which is expected on a busy street! Will be coming back here for sure!

Great hotel and location but be aware it is noisy!

Its a lovely hotel - clean, friendly and nicely done up. The area of Santa Catalina is just perfect - full of great restaurants and bars, a short walk into central Palma and a great atmosphere. BUT Hotel Hostel Cuba is also a bar and the rooms (or our room 204 at least) are not soundproof. Loud bass music was very apparent in our room until at least 2am every night we were there. We were there to have a nice time, and were drinking ourselves each night, so thankfully we managed to sleep OK. But if you are hoping for a quiet night, or club music bass winds you up, then I really would reconsider staying here

great hotel close to the old town

we went to palma for two days one night and had great time. the flight from Valencia only takes 55 minutes and when we came back we fell a sleep from take off to landing after two very good days

Brilliant service

We were very impressed with the Hotel Hostal Cuba. The building has been thoughtfully converted and although the rooms aren't huge they are very comfortable with beautifully equipped bathrooms. The outstanding factor is the service which is both very efficient and genuinely charming both in the hotel itself and the bar.

Special Things in Small Packages

All the staff here have obviously attended charm school. Nothing was too much trouble and all facilities from bar to bistro food to front desk were first class. The owenrs must be delighted.

Good hotel, central location, brilliant staff!

I read the reviews before we left so can confirm that the rooms are quite small - not a lot of room to store suitcases and there's no room for a sitting chair for example but the rooms are very comfortable and clean. We stayed 4 nights and I think I might have expected they would change the sheets after 3 nights but that wasn't the case, not exactly a problem though. Beware of the noise though, our room was on the first floor facing the bar on the other side of the road and it was noisy in the evening but as long as you're warned you know what to expect - it was still quite lively at 3am on Saturday night. Its a great central location, takes about 10 mins to walk to the cathedral and the central shops. Staff were very helpful, go the brilliant Sky Bar and have a cocktail! Lindsey helped us out with restaurant recommendations and directions. Probably a great place to stay for the younger traveller who would still be up at 3am - we're depressingly a bit older than that now. Breakfast buffet was varied and fresh, and you take it in the Sky Bar so fabulous views.

Perfect city break hotel

Originally a fishermen's hostel, it's been converted and renovated to a very high standard. The rooms are cosy, but very well appointed. Fantastic shower, TV with international channels, and very effective air conditioning. We had a corner room with fantastic views of both the cathedral and marina. Breakfast is served in the roof top "skybar" where the views are even more spectacular. Drinks are also served up there in the evening, and it can get quite busy at times, as it is popular with both residents and visitors. The local area is lively, and it is easy to find nice places to eat, although you can't go wrong with the hotel restaurant. There is even a nightclub in the basement - we were concerned about the noise, but needn't have been as the rooms are fairly well soundproofed. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel are all excellent. They also serve fantastic coffee. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. We were greeted by name upon arrival, and assisted with our luggage to the room. It's not the cheapest hotel in Palma by quite some way, but it is absolutely worth every penny, and I love staying there.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous! The rooms were beautiful, and wonderfully clean. I particularly like the waterfall shower. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. The sky bar was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the New Years Eve dinner complete with four piece brass band! We would definitely go back there and would love to take friends and family too.

First time visiting, great location, great hotel!

Four days in Mallorca, first time visiting, couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Made the mistake of taking a taxi (nearly 20€), when the #1 bus stops directly across the street from the hotel. Easy walking to all of Palma, fantastic restaurants & bars nearby, short walk to cathedral, castle, bay...

Christmas in Palma

Great location, views, rooms and superb staff! Complementary Cava for breakfast and sunset. Great staff who are genuinely personable and helpful. Great design hotel. Super comfy bed with high quality linen. All in all a great place to stay and I've had over 100 nights in different hotels this year.

One day in Palma

Stop over one night only in Palma on business. I wanted to stay somewhere characterful not just a concrete block. Hostal Cuba has that in spades with a beautifully refurbished room laid out with every convenience. I asked for a quiet room and got one at the back. The roof terrace restaurant for breakfast must have the best view in Palma straight over the harbour to the cathedral, plus very good too. Downsides? No parking so had to put the hire car in a nearby expensive underground. And this is pretty much the middle of town so a room on the road might be noisy. This is the only reason I have marked down neighbourhood as it was enjoyable to walk into town.

Funky, smart, modern, friendly

A funky new hotel. Very friendly staff. Excellent location in Palma. A slightly noisy nightclub nearby, but it is downtown after all. Great view from Breakfast room.

As good as it gets

Hostal Cuba is a wonderful hotel in all possible ways. The location is superb, the rooms are really nice and comfortable, and the people working there are outstanding. In addition do thay have a great sky bar with superb views and on the first floor a really good bar and restaurant. Will me and my boyfriend we go back ? ABSOLUTELY !!

Mina vänner får ett rum som inte är städat. Allt löser sig smidigt utav trevlig receptionspersonal. Jag får ett fint rum med balkong och mina vänner ett städat rum

Hotellets personale, morgenmad og værelse er i top, men skybaren og de mange barer på gaden, i kombination med dårlig lydisolering i døre og vinduer, gør det umuligt at sove før lamngt ud på natten.

Vi leide junior suite. Endte opp i første etasje med en tragisk utsikt ut i bakgården. Frokost på takterrassen redda oppholdet. Den var aldeles enestående.

Mycket trevligt hotel på bra läge i utkanten av S Catalina. 10 min promenad till centrum. Små, men bekväma rum. Fantastisk frukost som äts på takterassen. Service från en underbar kvinna som ser till att man har det bra. Under sommartid kan det nog vara besvärligt med ljudnivån från takterrassen som då är bar fram till 01:00 respektive från bar med uteservering på gatan. Mycket service minded personal.

Trevlig och snabb incheckning. Ganska små, men ok rum. Frukosten som är inkluderad i rumspriset är suverän och avnjuts på takterrassen med utsikt över Palma. 10 min promenad till city. Återkommer gärna

Bon séjour à l’Hostal Cuba … nous avions réservé la suite pour 3 couchages (2 adultes 1 fille de 18 ans) je conseille de la réserver pour un couple car pas trop d’intimité avec la salle de bain. La porte vitrée avec wc donne sur la tête de lit du grand lit … de plus le lit de la 3 ieme personne est un canapé lit… Le personnel de salle vraiment adorable, au petit déjeuner notamment, en plus la vue le matin est juste magique ! Concernant le bruit, aucune inquiétude, tout est calme car même si le quartier est animé avec bar et restaurant, une fois dans la chambre plus aucun bruit ! L’emplacement à santa Catalina est top, près de tout !

Ein super Hotel in der Stadt. Bei meinem Städtetrip konnte alles sehr gut auch zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus erreicht werden. Mit einem exzellenten Frühstück auf der Dachterrase startet der Tag perfekt. Im ganzen ein sehr schönes kleines Hotel das nur zu empfehlen ist.

Exelent in every way!

Ansich ist es ein wunderschönes Hotel, klein aber fein. Die Zimmer waren wirklich schön und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt absolut ausreichend. Auch das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse ist toll und es gibt alles was man braucht. Leider aber erst ab 8uhr somit konnten wir am Abreise Tag nicht mehr Frühstücken. Aber was eine absolute Katastrophe ist ist der Lärm!!! Direkt an einer Hauptstraße. Und auf der Dachterrasse bis 1uhr Nachts laute Musik da war nicht wirklich was mit erholsamen Schlaf...

Das Zimmer war ungewöhnlich gebaut, schickes modernes Möbel, schönes Bad/Dusche, alles sauber und angenehm! Urlaub kann beginnen!

Leider ist das Hotel für eine "normale" Übernachtung ungeeignet, da sowohl von der Straßenseite, wie auch aufgrund des Clubs/Party Location im Hotel selbst, Nachts bis 4.00 ein Schlafen fast unmöglich macht, trotz Ohrstöppsel. Um 4.00morgens endet die Party im Hotelbereich und geht danach vor dem Hotel im Freien weiter. Das Hotel selbst ist sehe schön, das Frühstück auf der Rooftop Terrasse ist gut, wenn auch bei unserem Besuch, zuerst weder Butter noch Orangensaft angeboten wurde, und dann auch noch die Kaffeemaschine Ihren Geist aufgab.

Das reichhaltige Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war hervorragend, die Zimmer sind herrlich, das Personal zu jeder Zeit offen und in Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch ansprechbar. Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Trevligt mindre hotell med närhet till både centrum och hamnen. I kvarteren runt om hotellet finns flera barer och restauranger. På takterassen med utsikt över hamnen och katedralen, serveras god fräsch frukost på morgonen och goda drinkar på kvällen. Trevlig personal och bra service!

Mooi koloniaal Zuid Amerikaanse stijl hotel, wat door zijn moderne inrichting van alle gemakken is voorzien. Fantastisch op restaurant-bar gebied, met zeer goed ruim restaurant, heerlijk levendig terras en top rooftop Skybar. En op alle gebied topservice van staff met een glimlach. Ook nog zeer strategisch gelegen in leuke relaxte uitgaansbuurt en op loopafstand van centrum.

A very nice hotel, great location at a fair price

This is a very nice hotel, with great service, very nice and helpfull staff and a super breakfast. The hotel is located close to everything, also close to trafic. Even the trafic is heavy at morning and evening rush hours, it is not a problem. Also not the bar at night is a problem. Definitely a hotel to revisit.

Knappast prisvärt

Trånga rum. Bad om rum på översta våningen, fick på nedersta. Receptionen sa att det inte gick att byta till annat rum. Starkt störande ljud från folk på restauranger och barer på gatan nedanför. Dåligt isolerade fönster. Medioker frukost med tanke på de dyra rummen. Trevlig, fullsatt takterrass kvällstid.

Very nice location and warm, comfortable and welcoming approach from the staff. The room had high standard and clean feeling. Only negative tjong to mention is the noise from the Sky bar during night time if you plan to sleep… if you are in to party you are the place to be!

Das Horel ist sehr schön und liegt gut. Nur einige Gehminuten zum Zentrum. Leider ist es etwas laut wegen der SkyBar und es riecht schon sehr nach Esssn in den Fluren. Sonst alles bestens.

Charmigt litet hotell

Mycket bra läge och mysig om än litet rum. Härligt med frukosten på takterrassen. Räkna med att det kan vara mycket ljud på natten eftersom takterrassen är en bar på kvällen och det är mycket barer runt hotellet men läget och att det är litet väger upp.

Fint rum, men litet. Rent och snyggt. Bra frukost och mysig frukostmiljö. Mycket dåligt isolerat så mycket hög ljudvolym från hotellets bar och utifrån.

Hotellets läge mycket bra, centralt. Servicen fantastisk bra, mycket trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Ljudnivån från restaurangen i bottenvåningen störande hög. Rummens storlek var i det minsta laget. Ingen fåtölj eller annan sittmöbel fanns det ingen plats för.
