We had a great time, the service was great, the restaurant was very good.

The staff are always phenomenal

Nestled in the hills of Montego Bay. Beautiful view of city - especially at night- and the sea beyond. The food was fabulous. Breakfast - traditional Jamaican fare but there could have been more fruit. I like that the hotel provides a shuttle for airport and beach runs. Only problem was hotel phones were down and it was difficult to make contact with hotel before my arrival. Sent me in a bit of a panic. Friendly staff made up for this. Very accommodating.

It was a very comfortable place to stay.

The hotel is much more than I expected. It is very beautiful and clean. Everyone that works that we came in contact with was helpful and thoughtful. On our arrival, the original room was next to the kitchen and smelled like fish. We asked for a different room and without hesitation, they moved us. That junior suit was great and had a nice view. We did not have dinner there but we did have a drink and an appetizer. The shrimp was great and I had the Bob Marley, my husband had the purple rain, they both were delicious. My only complaint from giving 5 stars was the breakfast…not a fan!

This property was “ok”. We didn’t stay at the resort. We wanted to be more on the local side. They have options there at the front desk to do excursions. We went on a tour around town - not too much driving. Water rafting, and to the beach. We went somewhere else I just don’t remember.

Calm place to stay , if your looking for a family place this is it .. it was in a quite area 3 mins from The beach

Awesome hotel!! I lost my phone previously to coming with all my information on it and they fed me for free and the guy who worked as a driver there (Romario) threatened to put the thief in jail so he returned it. Really cool, wouldn’t happen otherwise. Thanks!!!

Property is well maintained, clean and smelled good. Close to the airport.

I enjoyed my stay, however there were alot of bees outside my room door in the night. So many that I couldn’t leave or enter as I would like. The shower had some soap stains that looked like they’d been there for years. Room was clean and spacious though. I enjoyed my stay. Food was really good as well. I’d go back for sure.

First time to Montego Bay and was very pleased with Grand-A-View. Great hotel for the price. Staff was great, hotel was clean and restaurant was good. Very short Uber ride to Hip Strip and airport. Felt very safe. The view is also great.

Not my first time on this property, to my surprise its a big difference much more nicer. The room was very clean bathrooms was very clean and that was important to me.

This property was very clean room very nice and comfortable. Very large and modern shower with rain can shower head. I booked a queen regular room and I was upgraded to a king suite!… very lovely! I had an issue with the mattress-too soft for my back so I requested another bed. The switch me to another room without questions. Great view! Breakfast included great Jamaican breakfast!

The room was very large and very clean. The bathroom was also very accommodating and spacious.

I have been coming to Jamaica since 1980 I am so glad I stayed here. The panoramic view is awesome. Jamaican breakfast delicious. It’s also right next to one of my favorite restaurants. It also has a fabulous space for events. It’s relaxed and the property is safe and secure. All of my interactions with staff were friendly and enjoyable. I found it extremely convenient, but I suppose that would mean for those of us who have a car. Although getting rides in Jamaica is not a big deal. I’m definitely coming back.

We stayed for one night only. We enjoyed how clean everything was. Breakfast was provided next day and that was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Great welcome. Rooms are a little musty due to the humidity but that’s to be expected in this tropical climate.

Room quality was absolutely terrible. Stayed for one night and left. Pool is dirty, food quality is sub par, no microwave in room, room service is non existent. Avoid staying as much as possible.

The place was clean and staff was friendly. Shuttle to the airport was easy to setup and ran on time.

The headboards in the room were filthy. I asked for a different room and still those headboards were filthy as well. Even though they had rooms with headboards of a different material when I was asked they told me they didn’t. The ceiling around the shower was peeling and looked dirty as well. The location was about a 30 minute walk from the hip strip

I had to hire taxi to hotel as my flight came in alittle late...it would have been nice for hotel to have contacted me.

I have to say this was my 1st time staying at a Resort in Jamaica. I usually would stay at my Grandmothers home but after visiting Jamaica as a child since 1981 wanted a true tourism experience and The Hotel Grand A View was the perfect place to stay. From the luxury marble floors, the dolphin pool and the amazing view which is on top of the deck. The complimentary breakfast was above par and I can’t wait to come back with my family. Staff was very welcoming up on arrival room sparkle clean we stayed in 303 the view at night spectacular love the location indoor interior captivating most definitely have to revisit sure was a great choice

Great position close to the airport, the hotel staff were efficient and friendly and the hotel is in good condition with plenty of parking. Rooms were large with big showers which was welcome! Pool is good and the terrace has excellent views as does the restaurant. I would certainly stay again if flying to or from Montego Bay

The hotel was good overall, I jus expected a bigger room and better gym but it was still good .

The hotel staff was friendly and very welcoming.I stayed in a king suite room#402 I was pleased with the room size and amenities. My only negative about this property is the shuttle service terminates to early. Management should revamp the hours of operation to include evening services beyound 5:30 PM

We stayed here for 5 nights. I only noticed they offered free airport pick up the night before and messaged them, they had allocated times for pick up and luckily we arrived around one of the allocated times, this was a huge perk as there are lots of people offering expensive taxis from the airport. The hotel was clean, tidy and had all facilities I expected based off of the listing; additionally it felt very safe with 24/7 security and staff around. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay, our room was cleaned everyday with clean towels provided. They had a regular shuttle bus down to the beaches which was really useful and saved a lot of cost on taxis up and down (around 5-10 minute drive). We ate at the restaurant twice, it was good food with large portion sizes. We did not eat breakfast here so I cannot comment on this. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to go to Montego Bay.

Very clean and relaxing. Just up the hill from the main strip which has all the livliness/parties. Offers a quiet place to decompress and enjoy ocean veiws. Delicious jamacian style breakfast, would definitely visit again!

Very poor but kind staff

The machine of the gym was broken. The room smells and the breakfast was for locals. I could not eat anything due my intolerances and I ask for a plain omelette and they asked me for 7usd. On the other hand, the barbecue was nice. People very kind.

everyone was nice and happy to help you in anyway possible. Rooms are very clean and spacious. TV allows you to get everything you could possibly want to watch. The day we ate breakfast was not s buffet but a full Jamaican breakfast with a fried dumpling, boiled dumpling, boiled green banana, white yam, swordfish with flat beans and steamer vegies. Nice pool but we did not swim on our stay. Not a luxury hotel by US standards but it certainly suited our needs very well. The shuttle runs at set times. To/from airport and the hip strip

We only stayed here one night, but everything was wonderful and we will definitely be back. The food was very good, staff very helpful and the place was very clean.

I had to find a property after flights were canceled. The front desk people were nice but behind a locked door with safety glass. The property was gated. It was clean. The bed was hard as were the pillows. They have a nice restaurant overlooking the bay with a very loud and busy road below. Food for what it was a little pricey. 2bowls of chicken Alfredo and a drink $60

The fitness room was not great: some equipment were not working well and it was smelly as there was no AC. Our toilet had no ventilation and only a small window that came out to the room. Not nice for intimacy. The cleaning in the room was not really optimal, in our 10 days it seems that it was cleaned only once but towel were changed every day. Breakfast: mainly a buffet with zero fruits. Other than that the people working at the hotel were super nice and helpful.

The food no matter what time of day was so delicious. The next time I'm in Jamaica, even if I don't stay there, I will travel to eat at their restaurant.

We got stuck in montego bay thanks to a snowstorm in the states and stayed here overnight. Very convenient and nice people. Basic hotel with nice staff. Not walkable to anything.

The front desk staff could have been a little nicer and happier. Both at check in and check out.

Loved it!

I give this hotel a 3/5. It said free shuttle to and from airport but they didn’t mention that excludes Tuesday and Thursdays, so we had to pay for overpriced taxi’s. The breakfast buffet that is included is horrible and they serve the same food everyday. The actual rooms need to be upgraded. It is also located near a busy street so you can hear loud car noises throughout the day/night. Beverly the tour lady did a great job at helping us with transportation and recommendations. ALL stay are very friendly and helpful. Shower water sometimes hot, sometimes lukewarm.

Like that it was clean and staff was friendly. Beautiful view seeing all the Arline’s landing from the sea. Road below was very noisy with big trucks but who is here to spend all their time in the hotel so I don’t mind.

Kingston Hotel, good value and great views

The hotel is great, the views from the deck near restaurant and pool area are amazing. the rooms are comfortable and the pool area is nice.

It was a great experience! Breath took view and the hospitality was amazing! Especially the staff “Romero” a great tour guide and knowledgeable!

Nice stay!

Staff: The staff at the hotel was amazing. Very accommodating! Food: I did not take advantage of the breakfast because it was just different - wasn't used to eating vegetables for breakfast. The hotel menu (for lunch and dinner) was amazing though and the chef was great. Rooms: The rooms could use a bit of a makeover though. Not sure when they last got an update. The shower was amazing with fast hot water. Overall: I would stay there again. It was near a really good restaurant and you could walk to the Hip Strip (downhill, but far).

Restaurant lunch and dinner was excellent. Staff, especially those at the front desk and bell hop, were extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The tours and booking desk was a hot mess. I tried to pay for my over priced excursion for three days and because they didn't have a credit card machine they had me pay through a third party and because of the security on my card it wouldn't go through. My daughter had to pay through zillo .we got to the airport 1 hour late because of the debocal.

Property was nice but far from the strip to walk and taxis are about $20US each way so unless you have your own transport its not so good There is a shuttle bus but it has limited schedules Breakfast is basic Staff ok but not all super friendly It’s not a place I would return to

Staff was great and the location was also within short range of some of the popular places. Cleanliness was top notch as well

Not worth it and absolutely not a 3 star hotel.

It was very poor to stay here. Hotel didn’t offer blankets, toiletries, or other standard amenities. Breakfast would take 30 minutes to receive some eggs and service was beyond poor. Not staying here again.

One night stay

Nice clean hotel, staff was nice but the bed isn’t as comfortable but it worked for the one night and we were facing sea view which the view is amazing but the noise from the street is very loud.
