The hotel is an amazing , however, if you like fancy hotel, this is not for you. This is not the most comfortable beds or pillows, but in the stay was amazing. Some limitation, no food or drinks in the rooms.
Great weekend away
Venice is a lovely city with lots to offer Great food. No cars ! Good to experience a different lifestyle where life is at a slower place Hotel was charming all the old classic features.
Good value for money and excellent, helpful staff
Room seemed a bit cramped for two people. I had stayed there many years before and it seems to not be aging too well. The breakfast buffet was substantial. They did provide two bottles of drinking water for two people for three nights and I had to pay for the third bottle which I really thought should have been provided considering the price of the room. It is very walkable to explore Venice , to get to the waterbus and to walk to St Mark's so location was fine. There were some very nice restaurants nearby and the hotel itself is quiet. It is five bridges from the train station and will cost you thirty to fifty euros to get you luggage carried there by a hand truck porter. DO NOT pay more than thirty it is 15 minutes about a mile but is five bridges if doing it yourself.
The rooms are very small and had inadequate electric plugs. Very small TV with no English channels.
The staff was amazing especially Simone. . We had an apartment and it was so convenient for a family of four. Grocery store and restaurants so close by.
The hotel was very nice and staff very accommodating, but the room was very small, no room for suitcases, very tight to maneuver around and the pillows are very flat and hard.
Excellent staff, breakfast, bed, service. Reccomend VERY highly.
Good, clean location
Excellent breakfast and ample bathroom. Italian bathrooms are usually shockingly small especially the showers but this had a full sized tub. Like many other non chain hotels in Italy, the mattress is very soft which may be a problem if you need more support. Everything kept impeccably clean with prompt room cleaning and laundry service.
Location of the property is great, dinning options around are great. Spacious room.
Very cozy hotel with nice staff
Had a really good 4 night stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful even with organizing a free trip to Murano. Location is very convenient just a very 5min walk from the first water bus stop and then a 5 min walk to Rialto
Loved the location, easy access to everything and yet far enough away to get out of the race and relax. Great restaurants nearby and off the beaten path. Excellent staff
A lovely property with really lovely staff
A great place to stay that doesn’t feel touristy. quaint sidewalks with great restaurants, close to water bus. Staff were great, even gave us a free umbrella on the way out. Would definitely stay here again
This is an excellent hotel and truly lived up to expectation. My single room was small, and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. But it was an excellent location, perfect walking distance to all the main attractions. Would I stay again? Most definitely, but book a bigger room and stay longer.
I love this hotel! It's my second stay here. Giorgione is in and old palazzo and filled with Venetian glass, antiques and paintings. The staff is warm and friendly. The rooms are each uniquely decorated. It's our of the fray, which is nice and a little quieter, lots of great restaurants around and an easy walk to San Marco.
Awful.
Certainly a top notch hotel. Professional and great English-speaking staff. Very helpful. They even provide complimentary transportation to Murano so you can do your own exploring. Hot tub was great, but certainly the highlight of the hotel was the outstanding breakfast every morning.
Walk back in time to one of the oldest hotels in Venice. The staff was wonderful and super helpful. Make sure to ask them restaurant recommendations, because wow. The one they recommended was AMAZING. Our room was clean and stocked with amenities. The bed was comfy after a long flight. The pool was greatly appreciated after a long hot day- although it sucked you only got 30 minutes a day to use it (they are very strict) And the included breakfast was amazing. Tons of options! The hotel is situated close to shopping and about 10 minutes from the Rialto bridge. We will definitely return to this hotel :)
Great hotel really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the new wing of the hotel, it was clean and very comfortable. Easy location to walk to everything and get on water taxis
Very friendly and great location
Bianca was an incredible host with the children and so attentive to the adults. Professional, efficient and knowledgeable, we were so impressed. Breakfast was good value. No other food available throughout the day. Beautiful setting for breakfast outside with the pool. Decent location for hotel with restaurants the locals enjoy in close proximity!
Good location. Air conditioning. Spacious rooms. Breakfast could have been better.
We stayed at Hotel Giorgione for two nights in a classic room. The room and shower room were small but all we needed. The hotel was traditionally decorated and felt like we were in a historic building. Breakfast was good and eating outside was great. We didn’t use the pool but the whole area looked clean and well maintained. The hotel was located at the end of the main shopping area and within ten minutes of the Rialto bridge. The check in process took a long time although staff were pleasant. Bed was comfortable.
We stayed here 2 nights after having our return to Canada delayed. We were looking for a hotel that would be clean and comfortable and not terribly worried about location. This hotel was lovely with many dining options located close by. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Heart of the island with lovely small bar and garden
Overall good, our room was close to the pool so there was a lot of noise in the evening. The walls were thin so we could hear our neighbors clearly. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Lovely stay
Reception staff were excellent and very helpful with directions.
Very good hotel, no kids friendly, but still very good
Great Giorgione
Perfect location, helpful staff, goid breakfast, old Italian style. Rooms clean and well organized. Little small but it’s Venice
In a quiet area of Venice but very close to the tourist spots. Hotel was lovely, staff were helpful. Pool was great option.
Tucked away in Venice you have a beautiful boutique hotel. Walkable from all the main attractions. A little tricky with a lot of luggage, but manageable. Pool time is 30 minute slots, which was fine for our mid-week stay. I would recommend to those traveling to Venice and definitely consider again when we return
Bad smell in the room/restroom. Very noisy all the time.
리알토 근처 깨끗한 호텔
리알토다리 근처에 있는 깨끗한 호텔. 조식이 매일 같아서 오래 머무는 것은 비추천
Staff members were very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness throughout the establishment was remarkable.
Wonderful Stay at Hotel Giorgione
Amazing hotel, excellent quality, nostalgic feel, very helpful staff, great bar tender and reasonable price. Family room comfortably housed four of us - parents with adult offspring. Fantastic location to explore Venezia.
Charming. Courtyard jacuzzi cool down after walking all over. Great.
Good, quiet location, yet closed to the main crowd in Venice. We had complaint about the poor house keeping and the bathroom amenities. In the first night the extra bed is only given a thin sheet as the blanket, until requested the next day for a proper blanket.
Amazing property. Small pool was a great perk and the staff was fantastic!
The decor and location were top notch
A wonderful hotel, great service, nice pool and courtyard and staff was amazing
The pool area and breakfast outside with fairy lights
Staff were very helpful and such a lovely hotel and location!
The pool was an essential bonus!
This is fantastic hotel to stay in if you want to be close to the action, but off the busiest streets in Venice. The water taxi is a must, but that is no problem. Lido is only 45 minutes away!
Friendly and helpful personnel.
The staff and service there were fantastic. Very professional and helpful! A very good breakfast too. Short walk from a ferry stop, and very close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. It has a large jacuzzi/small pool (however you’d like to look at it) in a very nice courtyard too. Only negatives were for those of us who like to get a workout in on vacation, there is no fitness center (and it’s pretty much impossible to go for a run or bike ride in Venice, although you sure can walk a lot), and there is no outside food or drinks allowed in to the hotel, and the staff is very strict about that to try and keep the hotel clean and up to their high standards (which is understandable, but you do get hungry in your room on occasion). But a classy hotel for sure and the staff is wonderful.
Comfortable large rooms at reasonable price Excellent breakfast, good location Staff is so friendly and willing to help you in a city which can be difficult to navigate
Old small rooms, clean but there more hotels with betterlocations
Great apart from the bed which was two pushed together,, avoiding the gap in the middle during the night didn’t make for the best sleep!
Staff was very friendly and helpful
Really enjoyed the location - close to some great hotels and bars. Our room only had one working power socket, strangely none of the other sockets worked. The property doesn't have a pool, it has a jacuzzi which is really nice but needs to be booked in advance for a maximum half hour session. The breakfast was good but it would be better to have it finish later than 10am.
Very friendly staff, beautiful hotel, hot tub/pool is very welcoming after a long day of walking. Will be back
Perfect location/staff/price for couple and kid
Fantastic hotel. Perfect location- few minutes to Rialto yet very quiet, off the beaten track. Also easy to get to/from airport (catch alilaguna ferry to Fondamenta Nove for EUR 15 and walk 7-10mins). Friendly staff, especially at breakfast (shoutout to Albert!) and reception. Nice courtyard with hot tub/pool- but be aware that kids only allowed in 11am-2pm. Junior Suite big enough for us as a couple with 1 kid- not lots of unpacking space/drawers/hooks, but not surprising for central Venice. Still can’t quite believe how many boxes this ticked for such a reasonable price. Highly recommend
The best breakfast ever!!!!
Clean, friendly personnel, convenient location, good breakfast, even good to stay with kids
A quiet place, a bit "off the beaten path," but accessible to everything! After you access everything, relax in the jacuzzi pool! Wonderful staff!
Great location! Very helpful staff!
Lovely old world charm in this family run hotel! Great location and easy to walk to major sites as well as water taxis to the airport and outer islands.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was included.
Location of the hotel was excellent.Service from the reception staff was excellent and helped us book two restaurants for dinner as well as providing excellent general guidance.Breakfast had a good selection.Bar only opens early evening and is in a relatively small area.Would have loved to have used the outdoor area of the restaurant but unfortunately weather wasnt on our side
Nice location, walkable distance from some reference points in venice, not far from the Canalgrande public transportation. Very well kept and comfortable common areas. Not exciting the swimming facility, but well kept. Very kind reception and service persons. Good for families, great attention and tolerance with children.
Very nice employees, they were very accommodating. The room was clean and was very close to many tourist areas, overall 10/10
Great experience and helpful staff
Amazing location and great hotel. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Albert from the kitchen and breakfast staff was particularly helpful and always friendly and cheerful.
No tea / coffee facilities in the room
wonderful traditional hotel in central Venice. Everything was easily accessible within walking distance of the hotel from water taxi to local sites.
Nicely located for what we needed, not too busy, would highly recommend Staff were great, room was comfortable, no complaints.
This property was great! So convenient to everything. And such a nice cute hotel. Valentina at the front desk was extremely helpful. I’d stay here again
The annex is just around the corner from the main hotel and is nice. Good restaurants just outside the door and is close to everything you need - grocery store, restaurants, taxi access, sights, etc. The hotel is exceptional and we'd love to have a room there the next time!
Third time visiting and first with my husband - his first visit to Venice. Staff are always very welcoming and helpful. Perfectly situated and we’ll definitely be back again.
This is an incredibly noisy hotel - there is no soundproofing and you hear staff, other patrons, and people walking by on the street. Food handling is another concern regarding the buffet - one staff member handled a bakery item with his bare hands and then put it back in with all of the other pastries. The property is run down, at least as far as my room was concerned, but the pictures make it look attractive on the site.
Decor & art in Hotel was exceptional, pool/spa area fantastic & breakfast was vey tasty. Great location for St Marks.
Original paintings
Great place to stay.
A beautiful hotel conveniently located in Venice. Easy walk to everything and everywhere. Front desk a bit cold and condescending when we asked questions. Not friendly at al!! Not a first good impression. Breakfast staff were kind, and was the highlight of our stay.
Lovely helpful staff
We stayed in the Family Apartment which was beautiful and spacious - excellent facilities. We had to request new towels and bin changes every day - a necessity when travelling with children. But other than that, the hotel was near perfect. Great location, lovely swimming pool feature and they helpfully organised our water taxi back to the airport. Would return.
Lovely place with great staff especially the bar man. Nice to have to pool to cool down in after a day exploring. Great location
The staff at the hotel are very nice, BIG issue I had is they had a constitution crew working right above our room EVERY morning except for Sunday we were woken up by drilling and pounding it was horrible. The staff did apologize but it will not give my daughter and I that time back. Paid way to much.
Had a fantastic stay had everything I needed and staff were great
Very nice clean hotel but staff when trying to get a cork screw for a bottle of wine were a little short with us. Modern room. Great views.
Hotel with lots of character in great location.
Absolutely fantastic service from everyone including reception, laundry and breakfast service. We were particularly impressed with the barman who served us on one night of our stay who went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our evening and drinks. The hotel is very unique and has a lot of character. The fact that the pool was heated was also a great touch.
Loved...loved...loved this hotel! Although thos is an older hotel, it felt like we had stepped back in time, in a great way. It has been well maintained making the charm & ambience amazing. The staff recommended a wonderful restaurant the the bar is a perfect place for a night cap before retiring for the evening. We will be back!!!
Hotel Giorgione is fine. It’s well located without being in the middle of busy, noisy activity. It is a good 3-star hotel. Our double room was clean, but the bedding is dated with pancake thin pillows. And the mattress, being two pieces, sagged and split a bit. Be aware, the shower is very small, around 2’x2’, and has a narrow door. The breakfast is fine. A plus was the reservation included a water taxi to Murano and a glass blowing tour.
Well located at a 15 min walking distance from both the St. Marco square on one end and the public parking garage on the other, and yet on a quiet side street. Very classy ran, just all rooms are different (size, windows), so make sure you know what you book.
I found the hotel to be quite lovely. The furniture in the room was beautiful. The sitting and also the dining areas were comfortable and attractive. The staff was great. I did hear people through one wall. It wasn’t bad, but I always take a small white noise maker with me. I turned the machine on low and went to sleep right away.
Hotel Giorgione was a great place to stay! A wonderful old world hotel with Venetian decor nestled just a few blocks away from the hustle and bustle. There's a large and lovely sitting area downstairs, and a self serve drinks cart in the lobby. The front desk was always manned and very helpful. The breakfast room is spacious with outdoor and indoor tables and a good selection of foods. Albert in particular took great care of us: helping us get extra strong cups of coffee to see us our long days of exploring. I highly recomend this hotel
This hotel transports you to Old Venice. It is beautiful, well run, superior hospitality, nice courtyard to relax. The bar is perfect for a pre or post dinner cocktail, and the bartender, Walter, cannot do enough for you. He is kind and helpful and makes the most delicious Bellinis!!
I really like the traditional feel of the property.

Great location, friendly staff
Great place. Wonderful staff. Close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood.
Loved everything about it except breakfast not included
A fab family hotel in the centre of Venice
Great reception service Good advice Love the pool and the pool table ! Filling breakfast. Great location
This hotel is very nice. It's charming, very old school. The location is great. The staff is nice. The small pool and outdoor area are special. I'm just not sure about calling it a 4 star hotel. The bedding, pillows, mattresses are not in line with what I've come to expect from a high end hotel. Just a sheet and a thin bedspread and a flat pillow. Also, the toiletries could be updated. I know it's a little thing but a lady expects separate shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Staff in hotel were so friendly. They recognized myself and my family when we walked in and out, always greeted us with a smile.
Charming hotel and the staff was amazing!
