Solid budget hotel

The hotel is nicely located, with a swimming pool and jacuzzi, a collection of peculiar antiquities placed along the walls of the common areas, and a nice, spacious rooms. We arrived by car, but hotel parking was full and we had troubles finding a place to park in the city - on a hot Saturday afternoon even the pay-per-minute parkings were full. Also hotel is in the old city which is a maze of narrow one way streets, so I recommend finding a parking first and then walking to the hotel. Or phone them in advance and check if they have availability at the on-site parking. Even if they have, you have to pay for it 15 euros for 24hrs, I think. Which is similar to what you would pay at any other commercial parking. The rooms at the hotel are nice, but sounds proofing is not that good. Air con was good and I even had to switch it off for the night, as I am scared of catching a cold at night due to the aircon's draft. The room had a lovely balcony with two chairs and a view over the parking lot and the city behind it. Hotel provided nice towels.The pool is small but OK and you always have a sea within 10 min walk. Evening entertainment was not the best quality - popular Spanish and world jazz, sung live by with the pre-recorded music. Not my type of entertainment, but if it's your cup of tea then you will enjoy it. The hotel was full with families. We stayed on a room only basis, so I can't tell about breakfast or dinner. But we saw people eating. Overall: it's a solid place to stay.

Romantic weekend away

The stay was great. Buffet offered a good selection of food every night. Very quiet and we'll located to the shops and beach. Parking is not too far away and costs 10 euros a day.

Pool area very clean and quiet with sun beds available whenever wanted. Ample choice of food for breakfast. Very conveniently positioned for beach and restaurants. Room kept very clean, addition of a fridge without charge would be useful.

Dark and dingy

Room was clean but very dark. No privacy. We booked a pool view room we got a partial view. We had a partition seperating the balcony and blocking out light and view. I asked to be moved the hotel refused I would avoid any room with 01 on the end .

Very old Hotel

The hotel is very old and not modern at all. The free WiFi does not work . I checked out of the hotel after 1 night stay. The manager on duty when I checked out was a very nice lady. I will never return to this hotel unless unless renovated to modern standard.

WiFi doesn’t work in all the rooms!! We had two rooms and it worked in only one of them...and only PART of the time. Since we have to work while on vacation it made it horrendous to check email from customers and respond. Also, the parking is WAY away from the hotel with no one to help with our luggage. Absolutely no one. They have a small van but “it’s not used for people; it’s only used to transport luggage to ONE place...the train station! There’s nowhere out front to park even temporarily to unload luggage. The rooms are TINY!! There were 3 of us in a room with 3 beds but NOwhere to put luggage or even open it, except on the bed. The best thing about the place is the staff...in EVERY department. Friendly and good at their jobs. From housekeeping to front desk to bar staff, all excelled and did the best they could with what they had to work with. Location of hotel is great. A 7 minute easy walk to the beach. We felt very safe. And close to great restaurants also. Tossa de Mar is beautiful! Just stunning!

hotel was great the only thing I would say is they new I had a car but didn't give me the opertunity to park and when I walked past the carpark it was empty. But apart from that the hotel and food and staff were great

Friendly staff, very clean, great quiet location but near everything, we got the most beautiful view from our balcony overlooking the town and sea. It should improve the dated cheap bedroom furniture and nicer dinners instead of quantity dinners!

Recommended with Considerations

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The parking is about a block away and costs 10 euros per day. The hotel is located on a fairly steep hill, on a curve of a very narrow street. There is a shuttle for the bus station, but not for the parking lot, so need to pull off side of very narrow road to load and unload suitcases. We opted for the breakfast to be included, a good assortment; however, the restaurant is very loud, no noise attenuation, so may be difficult for those with tinnitus or hearing issues. Good location, 5 minute walk to beach, shops and restaurants are close to hotel. We stayed for 2 nights, but some people were there on a tour package and stayed 7 nights or more. We stayed in room 108, 3 beds and balcony with 2 chairs, by the elevator. Free wifi, fairly fast. No refrigerator or ice machine.

Cute hotel in Tossa old town

Except a few relatively minor things, I really loved this hotel. It has a very spacious area downstairs with a nice interior, where it's actually nice to hang out, also a very nice large garden in the back, where you can hang out by the pool. I.e. you don't have to keep to your room when you're at the hotel. The reception staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is tucked a bit away from the busiest areas, and is very peaceful and quiet at night. Rooms have nice little balconies. Negatives: overpriced but like most of everything in costa brava; wifi works in some rooms but not the others; breakfast could have been better for the price (ie no real coffee - only instant, hardly any fresh fruit, not a great selection in general). I stayed in a single room, and the shower was tiny. I'm petite so it was ok. But I cannot imagine how someone bigger than I am could fit in. The other thing I found somewhat bizarre. I asked for an iron to iron some clothes. However, I was told that the hotel does not provide this "service", and if I wanted my clothes to be ironed, Id have to have them laundered, for which I would have to pay of course. This was the first time in my 20 years of traveling that such a simple request was denied by the hotel. Overall though, I had a very good experience and would probably stay again.

Hotel close to the town and beaches.

Friendly, clean hotel. Good breakfast catering to all tastes. Pool is a little small but we only used it once as the beaches are really close anyway. Internet connection is free but really slow, parking is down the road and a little expensive at 15e a day. First time I have had to pay a daily rental for a fridge 3e a day. No safe in the room but one is available at extra cost. Overall a good clean hotel ideal if you just want to sleep there and explore the restaurants and bars in Tossa. The hotel had entertainment but this was not to our taste so we stayed out in town every night.

Very Pleasant

There was a very nice atmosphere in the hotel. It was homely and it felt like the staff were always willing to help. The first week of October was probably a quiet time to stay but it suited us. If we were to be fussy we would say that our room was 'ordinary' and we are not used to staying in two single beds. The shower was also inclined to be intermittently hot and cold. But overall the positives far outweighed the negatives. Breakfast was very good and the one night we had dinner there was also good.Our stay was definitely value for money.

Lovely holiday

The staff are very friendly. The location is terrific. Narrow streets outside leading to castle and beach. The food was ok - not brilliant but you wouldn't go hungry. The standard of cleaninless is very high.

Good but don't overpay

Food was simple but generally of good quality. Entertainment was not every night but we loved Atomic Jones! Downsides: ants in the bathroom and tiny pillows which we were not used to. There was also a baby next door which woke us up every morning at 7 as the sound travelled.

Era una estancia para mis padres. Llevábamos 20 años yendo a Tossa y después de la pandemia hacía ya 3 que no podíamos veranear allí. Definitivamente, solo con llegar estuvieron más que satisfechos tanto con instalaciones, limpieza, personal y actividades nocturnas del hotel (entretenimiento). Quedaron súper contentos por todo, en especial también por la comida y la COMODIDAD DE LOS COLCHONES (punto 1 en un hotel). Y yo no puedo estar más agradecido a que el personal hiciese de su estancia algo especial, repetiremos sin duda, pues llevábamos 20 años yendo al mismo hotel (hasta que ha cambiado de manos) y necesitábamos una nueva opción, y sin duda alguna ya será nuestro establecimiento para toda la família cada vez que vayamos a nuestro pueblo de adopción. Perfecto todo, por comentar algo quizá sí haría falta una pequeñísima remodelación de algunas habitaciones, pero dudo que sea nada que no sepa ya la dirección y, en cualquier caso, carece de importancia teniendo en cuenta que vas allí a dormir y lo que interesa es comodidad y no modernez. Un pleno total, no lo dudéis!!!

Très bon sejour en famille ,personnel tres gentil et au petit soins , un hotel que je retournerai volontier , seul point negatif de faire la queue au buffet le soir avec un enfant de 3ans pas facile, et les heures d ouverture des buffets un peu tard.

Llena de hormigas, cuando entré en la habitación me encontré un par de ellas,está mañana plagado de hormigas por toda la habitación...no vuelvo.

Gute Lage am Rand der Altstadt, keine Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel (nur zur Miete ca. 100 Meter entfernt). Sehr nettes Team. Zimmer okay (und hellhörig wie fast überall), aber nur wenige Zimmer mit Meerblick. Dreimal in der Woche gute Livemusik, die sonstige Beschallung am Pool etc. ist etwas intensiv. Bitte mehr Kaffeemaschinen!

Äußerst gut gelegenes Hotel. Nur wenige minuten Fußweg in die Altstadt, zum Strand und an die Burg. Nettes Hotel. Das Personal gibt sich wirklich sehr viel Mühe und ist sehr, sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und angenehm. Die Zimmer haben einen schönen Balkon, welcher nicht rießig ist aber von der größe her mehr als ausreichend. Wir waren zwei Wochen in diesem Hotel und waren als Paar unterwegs.

2 jours à TOSSA

Séjour de 2 nuits avec mon chien. 10€/jour en plus pour le chien. Pas de parking sur place, j'ai dû déposer la voiture dans un parking payant à quelques rues de l'hôtel ( 24€). Petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus. L'hôtel est calme, familial, plutôt bien placé. La chambre est vieillotte, propre, avec un petit balcon. Le personnel est très souriant et serviable.

De regular a malo

La verdad es que no me gusta poner malas calificaciones, pero en este caso vale la pena mencionarlo. El hotel es anticuado, la conexión a internet te la dan por 24 horas, luego de ese tiempo es imposible re conectarte ademas para ingresar te sacan muchos datos personales para ser utilizados no se con que fin . Un capítulo negativo es también el servicio de Buffet que ofrece tanto desayuno cómo Cena es muy malo . En verdad no regresaría a hospedarme ahí

Hyggeligt hotel med perfekt beliggenhed lige ved den gamle bydel - 5 min til butikker, 7 min til busstationen, 10 min til stranden, 10 min til borgen. Hotellet er indrettet med gamle ting og sager på væggene og værelset vi boede på var i gammel stil, men hyggeligt - rent og pænt - gode senge og en skøn udsigt over pool, by og hav (vælg et værelse med udsigt til poolen - hvis muligt). Tossa de mar er utrolig smuk og hyggelig og det er fantastisk at bade for foden af borgen! Buffet morgen og aften er rigtig god! Kan på det varmeste anbefale dette hotel - vi havde en skøn ferie - kommer gerne igen 😁!!!

Excelente ubicación. Céntrico y muy cerca de la playa. La habitación muy pequeña para tres adultos y la decoración del hotel algo anticuada. El servicio de comedor muy bueno y el trato del personal excelente. La piscina muy pequeña para la gran cantidad de huéspedes que se alojan. Pocas tumbonas y un solo jacuzzi para todos sin horario de uso al igual que la zona de descanso donde están las dos camas balinesas.

El pichichi malísimo. Un robo el parking(15€) pero sobre todo tener que pagar 3€/día por la nevera. Increíble! He de decir que tuvimos hormigas y las eliminaron enseguida y la limpieza estaba perfectamente hecha, pero para mi las fotos engañan mucho, piscina súper pequeña(aforo 12 personas, agua helada sin apenas tiempo de sol que le dé y mobiliario muy viejo. La comida bien pero muyyy básica con poca elección

Volver al pasado agradablemente

Relacion calidad precio es muy correcto. Buscabamos unos dias de relax en calidad de pension completa y la opcion mas barata, con los filtros que deseabamos puestos, era esta. Nada que objetar. Personal del hotel muy atento y amable. El hotel y su decoracion de zonas comunes muy vintage. Habitaciones completas. La unica pega es que en la piscina a penas da el sol durante todo el dia. Para volver en otra ocasion.

Ascensor pequeña no era la parte nueva no cabía ni el carro de nuestro hijo no tenia cortinas entraba toda la luz fatal para el descanso.

El Hotel es antiguo pero todo y eso es aceptable.La comida pesima , de muy mala calidad. A las 11de la mañana cortan el aire acondicionado , estes o no en la habitación , decir que es independiente en cada habitación cuando lo he dicho me indican que es por el servicio de limpieza, Es el primer hotel en el que estoy que me ha pasado.Decir tambien que he estado en otros hoteles de esta cadena y nada que ver, ni el servicio ni la calidad precio.

Hotelito pequeño, pedimos cama doble, pero no nos la pusieron. La chica de recepción fué bastante seca.El resto si fueron muy agradables. La piscina es muy pequeña, las habitaciones, limpias pero antiguas y la animación de un sábado noche, un hombre con una guitarra. Hotel correcto para un par de días.

Me sorprendió que tuvieran cerrada con llave la nevera de la habitación y que cobraran 3€ al dia por tenerla abierta para poder utilizarla. Es la primera vez que me pasa, En la media pensión, no entran las bebidas, aunque sean aguas, que hay que pagar a parte. El servicio muy amable y las instalaciones muy limpias. Ubicación muy buena.

Agréablement surpris.

Hôtel très agréable mélangeant une décoration traditionnelle avec un confort moderne. Personnel professionnel et restauration correcte. Seul bémol : impossible de se garer à proximité.

Séjour Agréable, insonorisation insuffisante

Personnels très accueillant et toujours attentifs à nos demandes. Pas de parking gratuit aux environs (on était au mois d'Aout) et le parking de l’hôtel est petit, on ne savait pas qu'il fallait réserver avant donc impossible d'avoir une place. Les chambres sont confortables et propres, par contre niveau insonorisation, c'est vraiment insuffisant et les terrasses des chambres sont ouvertes sur les autres terrasses, donc pas d'intimité. Le petit déjeuner est plutôt bon et copieux avec du choix, mais pour les lèves tôt il ne débutent pas avant 8h. Hotel très bien situé aux limites du centre ville piéton, donc tout est accessible à pied sans avoir les nuisances de la rue.

Las fotos de la habitación NO son correspondientes con las que te ubican (mas pequeñas y sin vista). Solicitè cambio varias veces sin éxito.

Hotel familiar

Hotel familiar, cómodo y limpio. Con jardines y piscina en muy buen estado de limpieza y mantenimiento. Por dentro el hotel es algo anticuado pero se ve que han hecho mejoras en las habitaciones. Nosotros hemos estado muy cómodos. El buffet sencillo pero correcto. La ubicación estupenda para pasear por el centro. Hay parkings de pago cercanos (bastante caros 2,50 la hora o 12 el día completo), está a menos de 10 minutos andando de la estación de autobuses.

j'apprecis la proximite de la plage et surtout son emplacement par rapport au village ces ruelles sont une merveille sans oublier leurs animtions nous y avons sejourne plusieurs fois.

Das Hotel wurde als Zwischenstopp an die Costa de la Luz gebucht. Hotel und Zimmer waren in einem guten Zustand. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. Die Aussicht einfach spitze. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und waren vom Abendessen, sowie auch vom Frühstücksbuffet sehr angenehm überrascht. Für ein 3 Sterne Hotel eine sehr umfangreiche und auch schmackhafte Essensauswahl. Auch das Getränkepreis- Verhältnis war super. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider kein Parkplatz am Haus.

Je recommande vivement

J ai aimé mon séjour de 2 nuit, j ai demandé un surclassement et il ont répondu sans hésitation, une chambre en face de la piscine. J ai pris demi-pension le déjeuner est très généreux, bon sous forme de buffet. Pour le souper même principe et ces bon mais il y a tellement de resto dans la vieille ville, donc allez en ville. La vieille ville et la station autobus a 5 minutes à pieds, hôtel est très bien situé. Tout les services disponibles à hôtel et le personnel est très accueillant.

Hotel ubicado a tan solo 10 minutos del centro, a apenas 5 minutos de la oficina de turismo. Habitación comoda y con balcon. Piscina con agua a temperatura ambiente e hidromasaje. Desayuno muy completo. El hotel organiza en la noche presentaciones musicales

Si buscais un hotel a buen precio, con buenas vistas, de buen comer y con un perdonal atento, este es el vuestro! De verdad, nunca imaginé que iba a ser tan bonito como cuando llegué, no me esperaba tanto, ni viendo las fotos! Lo unico en que le puedo poner una pega ed que el parking esta apartado del hotel (un par de calles) y no esta techado... pero 10 de 10!
