Lovely location and proximity to the beach. However it's quite a long way from the train station, yet very close to the noisy train line. Rooms very nice and comfortable, breakfast superb. Staff very efficient and helpful.

Nice hotel and great roof top terrace

It’s good

I give a rating of 4 only because there was no toilet brush. I would also like normal blankets and bed linen in the room, the pillows are too small, the bed linen is also bad. I would like delicious coffee at breakfast. coffee that was undrinkable. BUT: despite the listed disadvantages of the room, there is a huge plus, it is a balcony overlooking the sea, the beach is a 1-minute walk, the view is mesmerizing ❤️ the hotel staff is amazing, I would especially highlight the reception Carmen and the service of George and Albert. The guys work at 5 , they made our vacation more enjoyable, helped us navigate the area and always gave us advice on everything. at breakfast, lunch and dinner there is food for every taste, even the picky ones will find something to eat, in addition to the buffet there is also an electric grill where you can always get a portion of a burger or meat or fish, and for breakfast fried eggs, pancakes and Viennese waffles. on the roof of the hotel there is a solarium and a jacuzzi, as well as sun loungers, on the -1st floor there is also a swimming pool, sauna and massage, not far from the hotel, the old town and the center, very beautiful. 10 minutes from the hotel there is a train station from where you can get to the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona, ​​in an hour 😍 3 minutes walk from the hotel there is a bus stop, you can easily get to the airport for a price of 10 euros and to Barcelona. In general, we fell in love. Many thanks to all staff ❤️

The food was amazing and rooms always very clean

Gute Preis & Leistung Verhältnis. Die Auswahl am Essen war nicht so gut und die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für die Sauna, Seif und Wasserkocher, musste man extra zahlen, was ich in 4-Sterne Anlage nicht erwartet habe.

Amazing hotel, great location, excellent staff and service everyone was kind and helpful. Everything is close by and had a Wonderful experience. Booked 11 night’s and wish we could have stayed longer! Impeccably clean, the rooms were nice, beds were comfortable. The staff at check in was outstanding and any questions that we had they went out of their way to help us. We paid for breakfast with our booking which was very pleasantly surprised at the spread they had prepared. So many options, and all of it delicious. The staff kept the area clean, clear of dishes and were very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The Reception staff and our cleaning Lady were friendly, helpful and efficient. A very good stay!

Nice, Ironman friendly, hotel.

A great hotel right next to the beach. Stayed here for Ironman Barcelona, it is in a perfect spot and the hotel staff know how to look after racers.

Hotel is rated at 4*, but would rate it at no more than 3. Location is 4* stars. The building seems like it’s been renovated and it looks modern. However, our biggest issue with the property, and the room we had, was the air conditioning was almost completely ineffective. The room was extremely small for 3 people, beds and pillows were uncomfortable, the bathroom floor was leaking something that appeared like toilet water. When we complained the staff tried hard to please all the guests. However, they refused to give us our money back if we checked out early as we had pre- booked 10 days. Breakfast was acceptable for the price. No pool towels and pool was small. Rooftop was nice. But adults only. Spa area was great. You had to pay extra for safety deposit box. If the a/c worked I would consider staying at the bigger family rooms or rooms with a view she had nice big balconies. The temperatures outside were over 30 degrees Celsius. And very humid. But it would have been nice to have some reprieve in the room.

Amazing! Hotel looks exactly like the pictures. It is very clean, quiet and new. Great location right next to the beach, train station, all the shops and restaurants in the town. Tony at the front desk was great! Very professional and fun. Definitely worth the money. This would be my place to stay every time I visit. Compared to all the places on that strip, this is the best one.

Pro: room with view. Con: rooms are not soundproof, you will heard everything.

Great hotel, great location, right across from the beach. The check in and check out staff were super nice, felt very welcome. I don’t speak Spanish and the were very patient and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. And breakfast was a great deal and was very good.

Not the hotel’s fault, but I’ll never visit again

2hrs 50mins driving round in circles trying to find somewhere to park. A whole afternoon. A quarter of a tank of petrol. Whilst this isn’t the fault of the hotel, it absolutely ruined the stay. We had planned to use the town as a base for a couple of days but didn’t want to move the car again. The town is a nightmare and a I can’t think of a single reason to visit it. The hotel was adequate. But thank goodness that curfew restrictions closed the bar below our window at midnight!! Having come from a very Covid-conscious hotel in Barcelona, we certainly didn’t get that same feeling at breakfast here. My girlfriend and I had used Spain a “meet in the middle” place due to Covid restrictions and this was 2 days in the coast out of a 13 day trip. We didn’t pack beach towels. To refuse to help us out with a spare set of towels for the indoor spa area and beach was pretty lousy. We used the room towels anyway but it was then a pain in the arse getting them changed for fresh towels. Covid, and the town’s abominable parking situation, is not the hotel’s fault - but I feel they could have offered more assistance and should have had a reduced capacity to maintain a level of hygiene.

The hotel has a great location, it’s new and clean. I just didn’t like the way toilet is. It’s look like is inside the room. I’d do few changes and I believe it could be improved The view is fantastic, nice hot tub, nice pool on the side and inside. We had a great time there

Its well localised hotel, friendly staff, new and clean. There are outdoor pools, hot tub o. The top of hotel and indoors pool. It’s really nice. Just too small room. The toilet is inside the room and liquid a little bit into the room

Mostly the staff was very nice, although the lady at the buffet made you feel like a criminal. Bringing a bun with you out of the dining area was tantamount to armed robbery. And forget grabbing a coffee to go. We had a legitimate booking with the half-board meal plan, and my daughter and I don't even eat all that much from a buffet because we are vegan! Location was great, it was super clean, they cut corners a few places which would not be a problem if you knew beforehand. No towels for the pool, which closes at 8 pm which is very early. Overall a nice stay:)

Such a shame... the workers and I guess the owner do not care about clients comfort and do not respond nicely to your requests. Had to pay aside to everything: fridge, gym, late check out... the only nice rooms I guess the ones that look front the sea. The buffet is okay but could be improved if somebody in this hotel cared. Only one nice thing is 3 min walk-in distance from the beach. Very laud often until after midnight and lots of teenagers, I guess that is why the stuff doesn’t bother much to be thoughtful about clients.

Great time!

Came to Calella for a Beach Handball tournament. Was very pleased with the experience. Our A/C was broken but they quickly changed our rooms and had a nice upgrade. Wonderful visit with so many great amenities at the hotel.

Great 4 days

Good hotel with some annoying unnecessary issues.

Great location and experience generally good. However, some silly minor issues. Beware if booking via a 3rd party site. We booked a ‘triple room’ for 3 adults. This turned out to be a small double room with a folding bed squeezed in. It seems the hotel itself has no ‘triple room’ classification. We complained and we were moved to a ‘family room’ which was bigger and more acceptable in terms of what we paid for. Angela on reception was very helpful in understanding our issue. Another minus - we learned that check-out was 10.30am, and this was confirmed by a receptionist, though our Expedia confirmation clearly said check-out 11.30. Breakdown in info somewhere. Wi-fi signal was terrible both in the room or anywhere in the hotel. Good points - went half board and food was replenished well and generally excellent. Staff generally very helpful. A lot of the guests were young noisy groups but the hotel is well built with solid walls and floors so any noise issues were minimal. Nice pool area and roof terrace, though the roof could benefit from some shading, umbrellas etc.

Dissapointing

Room was standard, double. Far too noisy, o not stay there with children as there is no chance they will sleep. I asked for a double room, with high floor and balcony on my booking. I was given twin beds, on a low floor with NO balcony. When I queried this I was simply shrugged off and told nothing they could do nothing !!!! Very very poor customer seevice.

Great location, friendly staff and a clean room. OK, the hotel is a little tired in places, but overall a pleasant stay and we'd happily go back.

Ironman Barcelona stay

I stayed in the hotel for the Ironman Barcelona 2014. The hotel was great, the breakfast was ok, but not bad and dinners were fantastic, for Eur 12.00 well worth the value. The hotel and location for the event was perfect. Also the location to the beach and train station was just what we wanted. If you are there for ironman, or just a holiday I would not hesitate to book this hotel. For a little extra I would book a room overlooking the sea, but if that is not important then the other rooms are perfect.

Great location, great value

The Maritime is typical of the inexpensive oceanfront resorts, but the location in the first row of hotels off the beach makes it a good choice. We were fortunate to have excellent service at the check in and a request for a view room was treated sympathetically so we had a Mediterranean view from our balcony and a slightly oblique view from inside the room. The hotel has a restaurant and the breakfast buffet is all-you-can-eat with very acceptable food quality. The staff in the dining room, though, are very grumpy and unobliging, a shame because the reseption staff and managers are great. Never mind, there are restaurants aplenty and cheap throughout the resort area of Calella. We like this hotel for staging in or out through Barcelona airport when traveling on a trans-Atlantic flight for driving to or from other destinations in Europe.

Hotel Maritim was great.

The overall experience at Hotel Maritim was stellar. Also, the town of Calella is amazing. Hi recommended to all!

Great hotel, will go back

Excellant hotel in terms of location and cleaness. Great clean town and train links to Barca are exc (every 1/2 hours) in clean, air con trains. Twon is clean a v cozy with lots of shops and resturant. The hotld is nearer to clubs and bars so if you are a light sleeper my advice will be to ask for not a sea view room (which I am sure you will miss). Will diff go back in the future

Hébergement bien situé, petit déjeuner bien, cependant isolation des chambres très très mauvaises, on entendais tout ce qui se passais de l’étage en dessous à l’étage au dessus. Mobiliers vieux, jacuzzi à l’étage qui laisse à désirer par rapport à la qualité de l’eau… repas du soir très médiocre nous n’avons pas continuer à prendre nos repas à l’hôtel malgré une demi pension payée et non remboursée. Heureusement il y a de quoi faire autour de l’hôtel. Nous sommes partis une nuit en avance, sans remboursement. Globalement très déçus par rapport à ce qui est présenté.

Attention, beaucoup d’éléments sont en options ! Le wifi est payant, les parkings de l’hôtel sont payants (et très cher), et d’autres ..

God plassering, men...

Rart rom med vask inne på rommet, og do/dusj for seg selv. Veldig lytt mellom rommene, og hoteldøra har glipper på tre sider som forklarer hvorfor det er lytt. Heisen går veldig sakte og de er små, så det blir heiskø uansett når på dagen det er. God frokost, men kaotisk pga mye folk og dårlig organisert. Men plasseringa på stranda veldig positivt

Uniek verblijf. Kamer is prima, niet veel bijzonders. Douche mocht wat schoner. Verder echt prima. Prima zwembad, heb zelf niet gezwommen maar zag er prima uit. Ontbijt is meer dan prima, genoeg keuze en het eten ziet er goed uit. Het wordt goed verzorgd en aangevuld en smaakt lekker. Het personeel was wat bot en niet echt met hun klanten bezig. Er was een dame die erg enthousiast was en mij lief heeft geholpen. Het overige personeel was koud, bot en afstandelijk. Niet echt het idee dat zij mij wilde helpen

La habitación no era doble, tal como fue solicitada, mi tarjeta no me permitía acceder a los servicios, cuando estaban incluidos y tenia que esperar que otro huésped entrara para poder, por ejemplo, acceder a la terraza, y los beneficios adicionales que tenia no me los dieron, y al reclamarlos, me hicieron sentir un mendigo. Realmente una mala experiencia.

Dit hotel heeft misschien wel de beste ligging in Calella. Verder voldoet het prima in alle voorzieningen. schoon, goed bed en fantastisch uitzicht als je een kamer met zeezicht hebt.

Muss nicht wieder sein

Laut Hotel Bilder sieht gut aus aber die Zimmer sind naja genau so wie das Abendessen und Frühstück. Riecht nach Chlor über all oben auf den Dach bei den Pools riecht es mehr nach Pisse und Chlor. Die Super gelegenen Zugschienen direkt am Hotel wo alle 5 min ein Zug vorbei Peifft und immer Hupt

Mejor en fotos que en persona

Hotel regulero, calidad - precio no está mal, pero personalmente no me gusto nada salvo la terraza en la azotea... comida, zona de piscina, habitaciones... todo muy de batalla, que parece que es lo que se estila en Calella, no nos gusto nada el pueblo tampoco. Al menos la playa es bonita y con el agua transparente. Poco más que añadir, recomendable con hijos o grupos de amigos, pero en pareja no lo recomendaría de ningún modo personalmente.

La ubicación es muy buena. Las vistas desde la habitación estupendas, y la habitación es amplia y el baño está bastante bien también. Los colchones calidad baja, blandos. Lo peor: la espera de 30 min para entrar en el comedor, todos apelotonados y con adultos y niños (de 8-10 años)sin mascarilla cogiendo los alimentos. No se cumple la distancia de seguridad y tampoco hay una sensación de seguridad.

Ok hotel for the price

Good placement by the sea. Everything cists extra(fitness and fridge and even the safety depo sit box is extra charge). The buffet was Ok, but after a few days it gets tiresome since the variation is small

Très décevant

Séjour décevant, mur mitoyen épais comme du papier à cigarette, inutile de chercher le repos vous n’en trouverez pas. Les réceptionnistes sont d’une amabilité déconcertante à la limite de la négligence, aucun effort n’est entrepris pour répondre aux questions. Je n’y retournerai jamais.

El solarium lo mejor

Situado en pleno centro de Calella, hay mucha oferta alredededor (tiendas, bares, restaurantes, etc.) y la playa en primera línea. Lo mejor, sin duda, el solarium en la planta superior del hotel con jacuzzi i las vistas al mar.

Excellent établissement. Chambre rénovée, spacieuse et vue sur mer. Personnel très accueillant. Situation idéale à deux pas du centre-ville très animé.

Der hotel war sauber und die Personal könnten Deutsch sprechen Essen war top das Problem habe ich nach der Buchung vor Ort 120 € mehr bezahlt sonst war als gut * * * * Sterne..

Fint hotell, bra personal, bra beläget

Hotellet var mycket fint med bra rum och trevlig personal. Frukosten var helt ok men av tidigare erfarenhet från detta hotell är lunchen ingen höjdare. Antagligen har de precis renoverat rummen, men ett minus är att man inte kunde låsa toaletten, vilket man gärna gör ibland, om man har besökare i rummet. Deras större rum hade mindre bra utsikt med enbart lite vy över havet och en mindre trevlig gränd precis nedanför balkongen.

Bra läge till strand och resturanger

Bra läge till stranden och runt om ligger ett stort urval av restauranger. Frukosten var helt OK med ett urval som passade familjen. Hotellets restaurang mot gatan hade mycket goda pizzor, rekommenderas varmt. Takterrassen med bubbelpool är ett trevligt avslut på eftermiddagen. Poolområdet var litet men rent. Finns både rum med havsutsikt och mot baksidan.

Hotel relativamente económico y confortable aunque los armarios de la habitación piden a gritos un cambio. Muy cerca de la playa y de las zonas de ocio de Calella. Ojo porque si te encuentras con turistas británicos de los del tipo de borrachera puede ser un infierno Incomprensiblemente la nevera de la habitación está cerrada con llave

Ont nous a installés dans une première chambre très catastrophique. Une chambre avec une vue sur un toit de tôle petit pour trois, aucun réseau de wifi qui fonctionne ni de réseau pour la télé donc aucune chaîne en fonctionnement malgré notre appel la réception ont nous a répondu que s’était là chambre.... le deuxième jour ont nous a proposés une autre chambre avec un supplément de60e face à la mère et bien plus grande avec du réseaux ? Que penser de cela ? Enfin nous avons payé plus chère mais nous avons passé la suite de notre séjour beaucoup mieux !

Les commerces ,la plage ,resto ,fast food ,et pour ce balader c est nikel ville agréable et paisible , l 'inconvénient ,le stationnent est payant et difficile de trouver une place et aussi un train passe pas loin de l hôtel rien de bien méchant sinon pour le reste rien a redire top du top !!!

Очень доброжелательный персонал, всегда готовый оказать содействие, любящие свою работу повара - каждый день разнообразное меню, и все очень вкусно. Здесь всегда хорошо кормили, но в этот раз было значительно больше морепродуктов - каждый день и несколько видов. Особая благодарность очень внимательной и заботливой директору и русскоговорящей официантке, отвечающей на любой вопрос.

C'est un hotel proche de la plage ms la nourriture n'est pas terrible et les femmes de chambre envahissantes ( rentre même quand on dort ou on veut pas ouvrir). Bof.
