A nice hotel. Old but well taken care of. The breakfast was amazing! The area is a little run down but the property itself was good. The rooftop bar was nice!
Very good location. We had a bonus; the hotel has a terrace overlooking the Palau Gaudi Museum plus a panoramic view of the city.
One night stay
Hotel is perfect for being in a lively part of town, as in plenty of night life, restaurants, bars, etc. if you are very sensitive to noise at night, it may not be what you want.
Great staff Clean rooms and as it was my husbands birthday he was given a bottle of bubbly and lovely card, what a lovely gesture Thank you
Special
Hotel was perfectly located near La Ramblas and had restaurant nearby. Desk service was excellent and friendly.
Close to everything
Great location.
Excellent and convenient location near La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter. Walkable to a lot of sights which was perfect for our family as we had only 3 nights in Barcelona. Although eating places and shopping are literally outside the hotel we couldn’t hear noise from the streets. Our family of 4 enjoyed the spacious and comfortable quad room we occupied. It had enough electrical outlets that allowed us to recharge our phones and tablets simultaneously. The beds were comfortable and the beddings and towels were clean. The bathroom was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel highly to family and friends.
Great convenient hotel with very friendly, helpful staff.
Close to everything
Good Location and Great Hotel
Well appointed rooms. Clean and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. Short walk to Ramblas. Staff were charming and helpful. Rooftop was an excellent bonus and great to relax at the end of the day before going out in the evening
Bathrooms to next room shared a wall a closed window . Very noisy and heard every thing. No mirror in main bedroom (only in bathroom) so difficult to get ready in other room. No night light in bathroom.
Easy accesibility
Family visiting from USA
Great location and staff!
Short stay before our cruise
Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar was awesome with a great view. The room was TINY but well appointed. For us the location was great. We took a cooking class right around the corner and there was an awesome bar and restaurant just steps down the street.
Noisy dogs backing all night long . Asked for a wake up call in the morning and they forgot .payed for breakfast in advance. But they said we didnt
Its clean and quiet, rooms are very basic and small. Only complaint wouls be the price. Way overpriced for what you get.
Directly across from Palau Guell Very close to Las Ramblas street.
The Hotel Gaudi is located in the Gothic section steps from the heart of Barcelona's most active tourist area. The room was very nice and modern, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable and amenities are plentiful!
The aircon in our room didn't work properly but the staff brought a fan up to our room and that made things much better. The hotel is located in the perfect spot to see the sights and delights of La Rambler and is directly across the street from another Goudi building which was fantastic. The rooftop bar and pool offer fantastic views of the city skyline as well. We loved our stay here.
Staff were excellent!
This little hotel was a nice surprise. The rooftop terrace has a plunge pool, bar, and a great view of the Gaudi museum across the street. The rooms are nothing special but the proximity to La Rambla makes it easy to get anywhere. The front desk staff were so kind and amazing. Would definitely staff here again.
I would not stay again.
GREAT STAY
Great hotel! Clean, friendly, helpful, organized, smelled good, COLD AIR CONDITIONING, full private bathroom with shower and tub. Great location!
No frills, comfortable bed and good location off las Ramblas. Directly across the street from Palau Guell.
All good
We had higher hopes for this property. I'll start with the negatives. But before I do that, I will say this is an old hotel. The elevators are old and small. The rooms are basic. All of the hard surfaces felt dirty, and the second and final night that we were there are room smelled as if the sewage had backed up. There's a constant sound of a blow dryer running, and there's a constant sound of running water. Don't no source for either could be found. We had thought that breakfast was included with the price only to find out that it was not and we had to pay when we were checking out. Not a deal breaker, it could have been communicated better. We expected that the pool would be able to accommodate more than three people, or that we would be able to do laps in a lap pool. Again this is an older property, to the fact that they had a pool at all was a good thing, although we didn't use it because it was already at maximum capacity with a few people in it. Let me share some of the positives about this hotel. The location to the main tourist street, las Ramblas, is excellent. The view from the rooftop deck is stunning, and the staff was nice.
Convenient and easy.
I liked this hotel because it's right in the central of walking distance.
Location was excellent. Staff was nice and polite. Would stay there again.
Very nice! Excellent location and a beautiful terrace!
Great location. Close to many restaurants and cafes. Did not feel there were enough amenities to warrant the price.
Great location
Excellent location to market, shopping and dining. Helpful staff
Great location! Close to everything. The views from the roof were amazing! We stayed in a four bedroom that had enough room. The two beds were comfortable, however the other two pull out beds were not that comfortable and you can feel the springs
Perfect stay with exception of no hot water on the morning of departure. Loved the view from our balcony.
Location was great. However, the beds were as hard as rocks. Also, had a two room and there is no vent for the AC in the one room. Therefore when you close the door between the rooms you get no AC in the other room. I received a discount I accepted on the breakfast for 14 Euros. Was not worth it. Buy your breakfast elsewhere.
Location off La Ramblas was excellent for experiencing Barcelona.
Great location
Great stay
Had a great stay at Hotel Gaudí. Just off of La Ramblas makes this a convenient location but also quieter than being on the main road. The staff were all friendly, the room was surprisingly spacious, and the rooftop with bar was an added bonus. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and would stay again if I return to Barcelona.
The staff of this Hotel were very professional and friendly.
The hotel is right next to Las Ramblas, walking distance to the cathedral, Mercado Boqueria, etc. There was public parking right next to the hotel (overnight rate €20 for hotel guests).
Perfect location close to the Ramblas. Staff was great!
Property was clean. A few glitches that eventually were fixed.
Great location
Great location. Room condition was good and comfortable bed.
The staff was wonderful and very accommodating.
Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Alessandria. Rooftop terrace is amazing. Very stylish, lots of comfortable areas to sit in and enjoy the different views.
The location is worth it
It is in amazing location. It was comfortable. The lobby always smells floral/fruity. The pool was really small but the view at the terrace was amazing
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gaudi very much. It was very convenient to be able to store our luggage in a lockable area upon our arrival. The location was very convenient to many things. The rooftop was a wonderful addition to viewing the city. The scale in the luggage storage area was a wonderful addition when packing for our departure. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Had a great stay at Hotel Gaudi. The location is excellent and very walkable, however that does mean a lot of street noise. The hotel also isn’t very sound proofed so we were woken up every night by other guests between 3-5am. The shower also didn’t drain well and we had to clean up excess water with many towels. That being said, it was a good price, had A/C, refillable water station, wifi and a fun terrace on the roof. The staff was friendly and you really can’t beat the location.
The staff was very helpful and the location is remarkable!
Hotel Gaudi- fantastic stay.
Stayed at Hotel Gaudi for 6nights. Staff very welcoming and assisted with any inquiries or questions. Breakfast is worth paying for as large selection of hot/cold food to choose from each day. When we left early Saturday morning prior to breakfast service being open upon request, the hotel provided us with a mini takeaway breakfast. Room was well sized, there is a kettle and tea/coffee facilities. You can ask for extra milk downstairs if required. We had a lovely patio terrace which was perfect to sit on and enjoy the sunshine and city views. You can also sit on the rooftop terrace for higher views of the city. There is a small infinity pool overlooking Palau Guell. You can order drinks up to the terrace via intercom or order in reception and bring up yourself. Going in May there was sufficient space on the rooftop to not be sitting close to others. In July/August rooftop maybe become more crowded so get there early to get a good seat. Great location, just off Las Ramblas and about 5 minute walk from Liceu metro station. You can walk to the port in and shopping centre in 10minutes. The hotel entrance is opposite Palau Guell- an old palace. There appears to be a mini police headquarters around the corner to the hotel so they are often visible in the vicinity. We didn’t feel unsafe in the area and felt comfortable walking back to the hotel late evening after going to shows or for dinner. Overall I would definitely return to Hotel Gaudi for another stay.
Old boutique hotel for a couple of nights, good location, good breakfast.
Nice
Nice accommodation
Spacious room and bathroom, comfortable and clean!
Location was excellent. Rooftop terrace was an added bonus.
Friendly staff, good location
We loved the location of this property - so many restaurants nearby. Close to a Metro stop.
Very well located, good staff, good brekfast, but the hotel would need a renovation program.
This is a perfect location if you want to be close to walkable areas. There are lots of shopping and restaurants near by. The walls are kind of thin you can even hear someone cough but if you don’t care about that this is a good location.
We thoroughly enjoyed Barcelona
Love!
Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to public transit. Close to restaurants, markets, shops.
Second visit to this Very centrally located hotel, the room was the correct size for a 2 nights stay. The room and bathroom were very clean and had everything one needed. The hotel terrace has a lovely view of the city and the staff is professional and kind. I can't wait to come back to Barcelona!!
Good time
The hotel was good , i liked my room was clean and decent with free Netflix, that was nice. I had a good time, amazing location to walk around anytime. I enjoyed it.
Rooms on top floors have views of Casa Guell (Gaudi bldG) rooftop across the street, which is fun. Also from the rooftop. Brilliant sunrise. Convenient to La Rambla. Fairly basic three-star hotel with these added perks. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Rooftop patio open for morning coffee would have been nice.
No fridge, key safe should be combination, too hot, terrible view, should have included breakfast like other clients had
I like the name of the hotel.
Great location but loud
I wanted to love this hotel but sadly, the thin walls made it difficult. The noise level from my corner room was unbelieveably loud after a very long travel day and sleep was difficult. The location was excellent, the room was clean, but I could hear actual conversation from the room next door and a tremendous amount of noise from the hallway and lobby area.
We had amazing time and everything was perfect at the hotel, the only thing you can hear the people next room
Excellent
Very good location for visiting places around Barcelona. We went in december with my wife and a 1 year baby and the room was very cold , we turned theys heating on but not enought. Theis breakfast buffet was nice, cleaninliness was ok.They also don't offer free parking , especialy the hotel vas not very busy and lots of spaces available.
Muy bueno , a el cuarto le pueden dar un toque un poco más moderno y mejorarlo. En cuanto a todo lo demás , perfecto
Great hotel, comfortable beds, excellent service
Lovely hotel a few steps off La Ramblas
Excellent staff support. Convenient location.
We arrived early morning from a cruise ship aroud 9.30am and went to the hotel to see if they could hold our bags for us until check in time. The lady was quite rude, gave a deep sigh and shouted check in time 3 o'clock, she then came around the desk to look at our suitcases and shook her head, she indicated there was no room for our cases then gave us two keys and said second elevator floor ?can't remember. She told us if we lost the keys the cost would be 10 euros each. On our return around 10 to 3, I asked if we could check in and the same lady said what is the time? and looked at the clock, she told us to get our cases and she would see. When we came back to the desk, there was a younger girl on reception to check us in, but the older lady talked continuously to her throughout our transaction which felt very unwelcoming. such a shame as we loved the quirkiness of the hotel, very clean, very central and enjoyed the roof terrace.
Generally comfortable. A bit noisy at timed from inside activities. Breakfast OK.
Room is big and with terrace. Lockers for luggage's storage.
Most of the staff is great , very friendly, printed several pages I needed for a personal issue Unfortunately the lady that received our bags in the morning before the check in time had a bad temper or a bad day and was very rude
Location, location, location…The hotel was walking distance to La Rambla, Gothic Quarter and La Boqueria. There’s a subway stop nearby along La Rambla. If you’re going to the Barcelona port, it’s only about 10-15 minutes away from the hotel depending on the traffic. Front desk people (especially Augustine & Carmen) were very Helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The wait staff in the breakfast room were all very friendly and accommodating. Definitely we will stay in the same hotel when we visit Barcelona.
Great property. In the middle of it all. Very well designed and clean. Great breakfast area and amazing view from the rooftop patio. We would return anytime.
This place is not fancy but it is clean, well priced and in a great location. Great view of the city from the rooftop terrace. We would certainly stay here again. Palace Guell right across the street. Be sure to check it out.
The woman at the check in desk was very unfriendly! The lockers were not secure… two of our were opened when we returned. Thankfully, nothing was taken.
It is not a quiet spot but the location is just the best. The rooms are not modern in any way but I would stay here again. Barcelona is an amazing place.
Great
Nice Hotel and excellent location on La Rambla. Small room was a bit tight to move around in.
Clean room. Excellent service.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gaudi. The location was perfect for us. We were able to walk to sights and museums. The Palace Guell was right across the street to visit. We enjoyed the hotel's rooftop to relax and view the city. The rooftop has perfect view of Palace Guell's rooftop. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and AC worked. Restaurants are close by. We would definitely stay here again.
Horrible does not even start to describe my stay. There was smell of urine in the outside of the hotel, right by the side of the entrance. The front desk lady when we arrived was very rude , she treated us like if we were delincuents getting to a jail. That set up the whole tone of what came next. With the exceptuon of two employees (Arnau ) the rest are pure acod and it shows . They do not even look you at you at the eye. My husband went to say the tv was not working properly and was called a spoiled child. Never had I have an experience line this at a hotel ever. The manager just as despot as the rest of the hotel employees and the whole city for that matter. Never again. I do not reccomend.
This a very good boutique hotel in the Rambas area with great places to eat steps away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is very plentiful and most important all areas of the hotel are clean We will stay again
We would return, no doubt.
Great location, beautiful hotel friendly staff , room with beautiful views
We really liked the rooms, the breakfast buffet, the 6th floor and the rooms getting cleaned every day. We did not like the lady who greeted us when. We arrived. We were early...but she was rather rude and irritated with us. Otherwise, everyone was very nice
We need small wash clothes and Kleenex. Other than that everything was great. Staff was great.
Close to several interesting sites and tourist attractions.
For the money thought you would get a facecloth, Kleenex. Bathroom lighting terrible, bring your own makeup mirror
Hotel Gaudi is a good hotel for seeing Barcelona. It's close to the Gothic quarter and the port. Many dining options. Also close to public transportation.
After cruise stay 2025.
Needs a little update here and there but otherwise brilliant
