Greta hotel in terms of Central location in Bucharest Old Town - HOWEVER - this is not a family friendly location. You are in the heart of a night club/strip club area. The music is loud (LOUD) from midnight to 5am most nights, do not expect to get any sleep. They issue ear plugs at the reception. Aside from this, the hotel itself was lovely and clean, the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was a buffet and they even put a breakfast box together for us for the day we went and did a day trip to Dracula's Castle. We stayed in the back of the hotel and had a room with all the frills, a coffee machine, kettle, slippers etc - nice toiletries as well. It was a great stay once we knew what to expect with the level of bass, and music though the night.

Room was spacious, staff very friendly & eager to help us PRN Continental Plus breakfast with a variety of food--loved the different types of cheese & sausages

Amazing location. Right in the heart of the old town. No need for taxis. Also really clean. Is quite loud so ideal for younger travelers

If you want to actually sleep don’t stay there. This facility should not be allowed to operate in that area where music is blasting until 5am. You are literally provided with earplugs

Noisy as a rave!

Very noisy with night clubs playing music until 6am...do not stay here if you want a good nights sleep! Even the eat plugs the hotel supplies dont block out the noise! Otherwise its a nice hotel!

Noises

Brilliant hotel! Nestled right in the centre of Old Town. Such a lovely location if looking to be right in the hustle and bustle and soak up the amazing atmosphere. Clean, comfortable and tidy room and staff were polite and couldn't do any more for us. Breakfast was basic but delicious and the restaurant was incredible, good food, good drinks and brilliant service. Would love to come back!

Clean, modern, great staff! With melatonin to sleep (noisy all night with night clubs around) we had a great stay! Best location in Bucarest!!!

Too noisy to sleep

Too noisy to sleep! The hotel is in the middle of the night life, it has a night club in front of it, one below and a couple of strip clubs on the the side. They run music until 5am and it’s too loud to sleep. The hotel provides ear plugs but they are almost useless. We recommend to stay away from it if you are looking for a nice sleep. Instead, if you plan to have a nice nightlife it’s perfect! Location is very central, hotel is nice and very clean! 5 stars to the room and cleanliness. Unfortunately we had to book (and pay) another hotel for the second night because we did want to sleep.

Clean but loud

The receptionist was very friendly. We got to the room and it was very clean. Nice size room and bathroom. Bathroom looked very modern. Great that it had shampoo, body wash, hand soap and hand cream. That was nice. The only thing is that the shower leakes soo bad. Slippers are provided but it’s a bit annoying. Also the noise from the club right opposite is so bad. No point getting a hotel if you can’t sleep until super late. We didn’t sleep the whole night. We booked over a month in advance. We asked if we can have a room at the back and they said they’re all taken. But we booked ages ago it would’ve been appreciated if they gave us a room that’s a bit quieter. My mum bless her was really struggling so was I. We don’t go clubbing so it was very bad.

Very loud surroundings and hard to sleep with the noise of music. Location is centric and a lot happening in the surroundings with restaurants and night life.

They said ELEVATOR. It’s a lie. NO ELEVATOR, we got 3 big bags, a 77 years old senior, nobody helps.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great. Room was clean and safe. Located right in the heart of the walkable downtown fun!

Nice option in Bucharest

Spectacular location, in the middle of the city centre. The rooms and installations are new and pristinely clean.

Good, clean property with helpful, friendly staff. Good location although being next to bars and nightclubs, it does cause sleep problems even though hotel did try to help with ear plugs being supplied. I would consider staying with them again though!

At the heart of the old down its a grea place to base yourself within walking distance of everything, unfortunately because of this its also above all the night clubs that play loud music until 5am in the morning. I stayed in a top floor room with a slopped ceiling (only bumped my head once in the night dueing my stay) but it was a nice clean and charming little room!

A clean and modern room with comfy bed, however, our room safe was tucked under a shelf without instructions and not attached so if we could have used it someone could just walk off with the safe! Access is via a pedestrian street so you will get dropped at a road about 3-5 minute walk. Could be an issue with large cases. Reception is under the stairs and relatively easy,although we could have checked in online. They provide ear plugs as there is an adjacent disco which was noisy. We had no house keeping calls during our stay and as the shower screen wasn't sealed this left pools of water. We had to ask for some new towels every night. This was made even more awkward by the receptionist making no effort to finish a personal call, I was only helped when more staff arrived. It was a shame as this is centrally placed in the old town with an abundance of excellent bars and restaurants.

Worst rest ever…

The hotel was very clean and nice and modern but unfortunately it is located next to a night club. The music was blasting literally the whole night (until 5 or 6am when we were getting up for a flight). It was also very loud in the hallway during the night. It is an excellent spot if you want to party but if you want to get a good night sleep this is definitely not the place!!

Great old city 3 star boutique hotel stay

I enjoyed my stay very much and the staff were very kind and helpful. I was first in room 104, front of hotel, which is facing the main street. It is noisy late evening as the old city has all the restaurants, bars and nightclubs. I was not worried as I use ear plugs, and the hotel provides them. But my room was very warm and I found it difficult to sleep. I was allowed to change rooms and moved to 110 which was cooler :) The continental breakfast was good, and I could fill my coffee cup and water bottle. Wifi was a little slow, but adequate.

Room was NOT good. Very basic without comfort. Excellent location near the old town and very good breakfast.

Mitten auf der Ausgehmeile mit Beschallung bis 04:00. Direkt vor der Haustür sind die Bars und Nachtclubs mit Aussenlautsprechern. Cool aber auch anstrengend. Zimmer schön gestylt aber wenig durchdacht. Bett zu weich. Ideale location um Bukarest zu erkunden.

La vicinanza di locali con musica alta sino all’alba penalizza la struttura che di per sé funziona ed è carina. Dormire é quasi utopia

Bel accueil, propre, délicieux petit déjeuner inclus et excellente location au cœur de Bucarest! Apportez de la melatonine pour dormir car nous entendons la musique des bars sur la même rue, jusqu’à 3h du matin en début de semaine.

Enkelt hotell, midt i gamlebyen. Mer sentralt hotell finnes vel ikke i gamlebyen😎 god standard, fine rom. Frokosten var ikke noe å skryte av. Ikke nøkkel kort til dør. Kun en kode du måtte huske. Litt knotete. Men fungere greit. Alt i alt en fin opplevelse.

Comoda, pulita, ottima posizione

El hotel está muy bien situado, limpio, renovado, el personal amable. Como aspectos negativos, hay que decir que el hotel es muy ruidoso, hay un bar/discoteca justo en la puerta, “Fredo” que está todos los días hasta las 6:00 de la mañana a un volumen insufrible. A pesar de estar en la habitación de atrás se escuchaban las vibraciones durante toda la noche. La puerta de la calle estaba siempre abierta, con el código de acceso en una pegatina y no siempre estaban en la recepción para controlar si alguien entraba o no, por lo que eso generaba una sensación de inseguridad. Creo que es un gran hotel, habitaciones cómodas, limpias y muy bien situado, pero que hayan abierto esta discoteca Justo en la puerta y que no controlen un poco mejor la puerta hace que pierda algo de valoración.

Nytt, modernt, fräscht hotell. Rent. Bekväm säng. Lite ont om ytor att förvara saker på. Fräscht badrum. Bra AC. Hårfön och toalettartiklar från Rituals finns. Kunde låna strykjärn och strykbräda. Personalen är trevlig och pratar bra engelska, men några missförstånd uppstod så det är nog bra att vara övertydlig i sin kommunikation. Hotellet ligger väldigt centralt i gamla staden där alla restauranger och klubbar ligger, vilket innebär att det är VÄLDIGT högljutt på natten. Jag kunde känna sängen vibrera av basen från en intilliggande nattklubb. Så vill du ha lugn och ro när du ska sova - välj ett annat hotell.

Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Apart from a strange smell in the staircase area (mould I think) that even thorough cleaning everyday seemed not to get rid of everything was fine. Liked the place.

클럽 한 가운데 위치한 숙소

방은 넓고 깨끗하였으나, 구시가지 한 복판에 클럽과 음식점 에 끼여 아주 시끄러웠음. 새벽 5시까지 쿵쿵 거리는 클럽 음악소리에 잠을 이룰 수가 없었음. 첫 날에 방을 잘못 배정하여 저녁 무렵에 짐을 모두 옮겨야 하는 불편을 겪었음. 클럽이나 관광지의 요란함을 느끼고 싶지 않다면, 강력하게 비추천함.

Esperienza negativa

Hotel in pieno centro della movida pieno di locali a pochi passi,musica fino alle 5.30 del mattino imposibile addormantarsi,armadio inesistente,niente bidet e finestre in camere,ci hanno dato una mansarda per camera con tetto basso niente climatizzatore...sicuramente non prenoterò piu questa struttura...

Ottima posizione, pieno di locali nelle vie sotto l'albergo. In dotazione tappi per le orecchie. Personale molto gentile. Le camere sono molto belle e la struttura è nuova.Musica dalle 22 fino alle 5 di mattina nel weekend, per noi che siamo ragazzi non ci sono stati problemi.

Great experience

Great location right in the center of old town (may be a bit loud for some people, because of all the bars clubs and cafes in the area). Clean and fresh rooms, and very informative and helpful staff. Will definitely return.
