Hotel
Up to date facility. Close to several touristy spots
This property is a gem! Beautiful and immaculate inside and out. I loved the little balconies for morning tea and the roof top restaurant and lounge with a lovely view and atmosphere. Their breakfast buffet will not disappoint! I would recommend this hotel.
Great neighborhood
Nice rooms, good breakfast, walkable
It was fine but not for the price
Not worth the cost, disappointed
We were so excited for this stay as it was my 56th birthday and we traveled from Canada for our first Italy trip. The room was not as described as my picture will show. Smaller than stated with out a balcony. I had book a superior room but got the classic. Mentioned to the guy working the desk and he said I was in a superior. Talked to the lady working the desk two days later and she graciously offered to move us. Thank you. We were on our final night and kept the classic room because it was late and we were exhausted. The neighborhood was great with local crowd restaurants, the place was clean and close to the metro. I left feeling disappointed and way over charged. 400 Canadian a night. Also contacted the hotel via email only to get ignored. 👎👎 Fix an issue and I’ll give a great review.
Lovely stay
Very nice hotel and the area is so pretty.
In a great area and close to everything
Second time staying here. Very nice place to stay in Rome. Close to the Vatican City. Easy to get to the coliseum and the fountains of Rome.
I liked the fact that it was smaller and unique.
Love the breakfast buffet❤️
Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing, front desk was welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is one of a kind😊
Great hotel but beware of hidden charges
Great hotel, very friendly staff. The only let down was tgat they ask €35 / hour to use tge gym and they don't mention this on the website
I don’t want to give this place an excellent mark because this will draw more people and they might raise their room price
Best value and best overall stay in Rome
Over the last 35 years, I have been in Rome 4 times and this one turned out to be the best as my Italian student found this gem near the train station, the Vatican and even the Olympic stadium where we saw Christiano Ronaldo played for Yuventus! The rooms are clean, quiet as it is set back from the busy road next to the river, and complimentary breakfast was sumptuous. The price of the room was quite a bit below what you would expect from such a quality stay. Five-star for sure in value. Would come back again on my next trip.
Breakfasts were excellent. Dinner was so so, but convenient when we were very tired. Staff were very helpful, especially Giorgia. Wonderful 1 Michelin star restaurant, Enoteca La Torre next door. Carrefour Express is just around the corner.
The staff were very friendly, the rooms were nice and it had a lovely rooftop terrace/restaurant.
We loved the quiet area and the beautiful hotel
Excellent location, sure you’ll wake much ( 30 mins) to see the city attractions but in same time the hotel location is quite , also it’ll be more convenient if you have a car. I liked so much , room is very good and the size is ok.
Only way to cool the room is to open the window. The smoking area for the hotel is directly below the window of our room. Shower leaks a lot on to floor. No restaurants anywhere nearby. No vending machines for drinks or snacks.
Nice quiet location
Hotel is located in a quiet area but less than 10min away from Metro. The room I was in, was not up to standard 4star, single bed was uncomfortable, everytime I had shower water leaked all over the floor. Dinner at the Restaurant was hit and miss.
Excellent stay!
We really enjoyed our stay! Great pool, great breakfast, very clean! The only thing is that you definitely need a car to get there and away and parking in town is a bit hard to find. But overall a great hotel!
Hotel is nice, but like most other hotels our breakfast was not included. Vatican City is not very far from the hotel but other attractions are very far.
A beautiful small hotel, specifically would like to mention Geovanni at reception a most polite and helpful person, made our stay very pleasant. Anytime I go to Rome would definitely stay here again.
Leaky pipe(s) were reported on the first day of stay. They never were fixed. Water was leaking under the tub so that after each shower we had to collect water from the floor so it won't rush to the room. Restaurant on the premise is not reliable. It was closed for dinner two times with no advance notice or sign that it will be closed. We had to search for places to eat late in the evening.
Great location
10 minutes walk from the metro - so near enough to everything but away from the noise and bustle of the touristy areas - can also walk to everywhere. Roof terrace bar was unfortunately closed when we were there, but it looks great. However, a nice garden to sit in. The room's balcony was great. Service was superb - nothing was too much to ask for. Room was clean and perfectionally functional. Clean and well equipped. I'd definitely stay there again. Thank you for a great stay. Grazie mille!
The location was perfect. Room was very nice, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was amazing. Very large, many options, outside courtyard was a sweet place to eat. I will come back. And I recommend this hotel to others.
Lovely place if you need to do business nearby. Suprisingly nice and good value for your money. Good WiFi. We loved the rooftop terrace and bar. Be aware the infant crib had a 15 Eu. Surcharge
Nice hotel in residential area good convenient location by tiber river. Approx 1 mile walking distance to central rome and vatican.
Wonderful hotel
We had a lovely stay. The hotel and rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast was well stocked and delucious. The only thing to comment on are the hard beds. Getting some top/over mattresses would do them a favour. Special thanks to the friendly staff, especially Rudolfo/Rudi who gave us really great advice for restaurants and booked us tables. Top notch!
Close to everything
Good breakfast! Helpful staff! I eould stay again!!!
Perfect location for six nations rugby
Hotel was really nice the only down fall was no tea or coffee in the room and we were told the wrong time for breakfast, fortunately we were down on time to just catch it before the staff very quickly cleared every thing, we did notice a couple came down a little later and were turned away. This was the man on reception giving out the wrong times.
Great PLACE
We spent two weeks at the hotel and we found it extremely comfortable and very clean and we had a good size room and everything at breakfast was extremely good. We have especially appreciated having fresh-made cappuccinos every morning! Would stay there again in a minute.
Excellent hotel in good location.
Great location, walking distance to Vatican and the Rugby stadium. Staff very helpful and pleasant, nice friendly atmosphere.
A nice hotel yo stay out of the crowd.
Donna Laura's hotel is a nice place to stay away from the crowded tourist area. It is a 20 to 30 minutes walk to the Vatican. The Tever river sidewalk across the street of the hotel will take you directly to the Vatican and the St Michael Castle plus other amenities. The healthy dinner buffet is great. But you also can order meals a la cart. Breakfast is a joy...it has a good variety to choose from. My favorite was coffee and croasants. The staff is very, very attentive to make you feel at home. Multiples languages communication assistance. Very pleased we did stay in this hotel.
4 out of 5 hotel
This is a pretty good example of a nice 4 out of 5 hotel. Great for couples or families. We got a good price and the staff were friendly. Ate at the little dinner buffet alot. In the morning they had a great selection of breakfast food, again, buffet style. Rooms are well lit and big enough for 2 to 3 people. Spoke English well enough and cordial. Would recommend to friends and family. Maybe the only drawback is that it is about a 15 min walk to the bus and train terminal. Also could use more heating elements for the dinner buffet as the food was kinda cold. Other than that highly recommended esp for the price!
Beautiful hotel nicely located close to downtown
Close enough to downtown but far enough from the maddening crowd -
Average at best
The room was clean, but tight. Better suited for a short stay. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy, so it couldn't be turned up. In addition, the hotel automatically turns the air off at midnight, so you get hot. Especially if you take a shower! It takes a while for the heat and steam to go away. Can't open the window because it's on a very busy street and it got stuck open once, so afraid to touch it. Some of the staff was rude and/or would not look at you at all. Stingy with in room coffee and no coffee cream. Housekeeping was ok, did not refresh toilet paper and coffee last day. Had to use Kleenex. Very nice female at desk that was very helpful. Breakfast staff helpful. Hard to find someone to help you in lounge, always a wait. Breakfast was ok. Overall, an average stay at best. Not far fromTrevi Fountain. Vatican City a cab or Uber ride at about 17 euros. Uber drivers much more professional and friendlier. Although, did have a good cab driver booked through the hotel. Arranged taxi rides are more professional drivers. 55E to airport by taxi, $65 w/ Uber.
Perfect getaway
Excellent hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent location for seeing the sights. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
Safe, secure and clean accommodations.
The hotel is nice. Check-in was so efficient, it seemed like a rush. Our room was ready early and we spent maybe 3 minutes at desk, which is really nice. Ludovica, at reception, was super helpful. She was a delight. The air conditioner went out at least once during the day and each of 3 nights. It is controlled by hotel staff, so by second night, we would call at 1-2 am and tell them we needed the a/c on. They did it. Breakfast was okay. Same eggs and bacon each day, with many other options. First day, there were 2 options for fresh fruit, but only 1 on subsequent days. Convenient 10 minute walk to metro. Not many dinning options in area. Overall, room was @4.
Great quiet location
The hotel looks nice and the staff were great. My wife's sister was traveling with us. The bed that she slept on was Just a pull out mini sofa and yes, she could feel the crossbar under her. The mattress on main bed in the room was a bit hard for me and my wife but we were tired enough it didn't really matter. we only stayed one night.
Tennis hotel
Good location, walking distance to the Internazionali tennis tournament. Pleasant hotel with good comfort, very good breakfast service. Nice rooms with balcony. Noisy street, but there is good acoustic insulation. Internal room-to-room insulation not quite as good.
Perfect for visiting Rome
Great hotel located walking distance to all major attractions. Metro and bus really close
Great hotel
Nice hotel. Great breakfast buffet, great customer service and very comfortable room
It was very nice, although the toilet didn't quite work properly.
Nice clean hotel, walking distance from Vatican.
We had a nice stay, staff was very helpfull. Breakfast was good with a variety of items. The hotel was walking distance to most of the key sites. Will use again.
Beautiful hotel, very small room
the hotel is beautiful and in a good location, walking distance to the metro, a long walk along the river to the Vatican. A small grocery store just down the street. The add on breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and was kept so during our stay. I would stay again. The weather was very comfortable so we tried to keep our window open at night BUT, eventhough we were on the side of the hotel, the street noise was so loud we had to close the window.
Great deal in central rome
too short
Loved this hotel very clean and newly decorated
When I saw the pictures online I wasn't 100% keen as green isn't my favourit colour but once you arrive it's in a beautiful location near the river and all newly decorated like it's just been painted. Room wasnt very large and you get normal sized double bed which is very comfy. Room and bathroom very well kept and cleaned with fresh towels and bed linen every day. spa is free for half hour use but you can book this privately too for €20 an hour which we did. Nice to have private sauna and hot tub plus we got glass of champagne and fruit platter included which was lovely one thing I would say was hot tub was not very hot at all so we got 50% discount. Hotel staff friendly and went out of there way to help. Location is perfect just outside the main hussle of Rome and only 15 mins from Trevi fountain we walked everyday but metro is only 5 mins walk away at the next bridge on the river. Do try terrace for dinner it's Beautiful at night plus a lovely little restaurant only 2 mins away which garden terrace aswell. All good priced!
Better Hotels in Rome
Room was very small, even for Rome standards. Not well located for tourists. About a 30 minute walk to St. Peter's. Staff not very friendly.
Clean and nice
Lovely hotel with larger rooms for Europe . Well cared for for Rome . Be advised beds are firm .
Nice hotel by noisy street
The hotel is very clean . The rooms were in excellent condition with beautiful marble bathrooms . Staff was very accommodating . We arrived early on the am and they had housekeeping ready our three rooms in just over 15 minutes !! Breakfast buffet was very nice and inclusive . 15 minute walk to the Vatican 5 minutes to the Metro . A few negatives 1. The hotel in on a busy street and so there is some traffic noise that begins around 6am. 2. The beds are very very firm.
Donna Laura Palace Christmas 2015
The hotel location is ideal within easy walking distance of central Rome and the Vatican. However it is situated by the side of a busy road so there is noise from the traffic. The standard of the rooms is good but the bathrooms are small. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but a mini bar is provided.
comfortable place
very comfortable
Friendly staff and great area close to attraction
We had a two day stay at this hotel and it was a good experience . Close to most attractions (ten minutes walk ).every things about continental breakfast was great except coffee which you can ask for your desired coffee .
Pros: Friendly receptionist, clean room and good neighbourhood Cons: off the beaten track, bedroom very small and en-suite tiny (loo squashed between shower and wall with approx 6" clearance either side). No atmosphere in hotel. Dinner service very poor for all 3 couples at 3 tables which had waiter overwhelmed. He kept confusing who was getting what and it took an hour to serve a plate of undercooked pasta. Talk about Fawlty Towers. Not going back.
Good - Enjoyable stay
We enjoyed out stay at the Laura Donna in September 2015, this was a good base to see Rome. About a 10 min walk to the Metro and buses. It is a long walk to the Castle and Vatican. Breakfast adequate and the same every day with no fresh fruit. The roof terrace restaurant served a good meal but only eat here one night. Limited choice of restaurants near to the hotel (only found 3). We also went back on the Metro and eat near the Trivi Fountain as easy to get to and a bit more lively with lots of restaurants to choose from. Overall a very good hotel which helped make our stay in Rome great.
Charming hotel.
We had a great stay at this hotel. Staff were helpful. Location was central to a the places we visited. The colleseum, Vatican City and all the squares.
Great value , Great service
Great location, Great service, Great price, newer hotel then most in Rome.Service was superb, for people up at 8 am , the gym is like your private gym, as it was rarely used.
Trip to Rome
The hotel and staff were great. The hotel is well kept and breakfast is really good. The staff was friendly and provided suggestions to places that we could visit and eat around Rome. Maps were provided. The hotel is close to Lepanto metro station and it is one stop from the Vatican Museum and 25 minutes walking from hotel. The walk is really nice.
Average stay
This was nice. Nothing spectacular. Advertised as a 4 star but not really. It could use some upgrading. The staff were friendly and helpful. However our biggest disappointment was the advertised spa and dinner deal. We were lead to believe it would be spa treatment but shown to a dark room with a hot tub and a key. We were also told it would be a 3 course dinner for a flat rate but provided a menu with prices for all items, when we inquired we were then told the 3 courses were appetiser, main and coffee... coffee alone is not a course as far as I am aware. The waiter was kind enough to give us a slice of cake instead of the coffee. Fair enough location. Overall an average stay.
Good location and friendly staff
The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful; the lady helped me call and make a booking at a restaurant and also helped me print out train tickets. The hotel was easy to find (short 5 minute walk from Lapanto station). It was clean, well maintained, decorations were not over the top which made the overall stay comfortable. If I'm back in Rome I would consider rebooking this hotel!
Great Hotel
Awesome hotel. Will definitely stay here when i return. Staff are friendly and courteous. Rooms clean and neat and more importantly are decent sized for a family of 4. Conveniently located with a few minutes walk to the closest metro. If anything, the only thing i recommend they improve on is the choice of food in the roof top restaurant, other wise the perfect place to stay with the family.
Great value/service
Staff is very friendly. Very comfortable stay, breakfast buffet is excellent. Hotel is conveniently located near subway.
Nice stay in Rome.
Nice stay - friendly staff. Needs some slight upkeep. Shower leak and a couple of minor things they can easily fix.
Walkable distance to Vatican
This hotel is nicely located: not too crowded, yet walkable to many attractions in Rome. They even provides parking in their own courtyard. The slightly inconvenience is that we have to leave the car key with them so they can move the cars when necessary. The room conditions are great.
Amazing
This hotel was an excellent stay. Just off the busy sections of Rome but still close enough to see everything you would want to. The staff was very friendly and was always willing to help you and point you in the right direction if you were looking for something specific. I would stay here every time I would come to Rome.
This hotel was beautiful. The breakfast spread they had was worthy. I was there for 3 nights and I love it. Francesca was very nice and helpful. I will stay there again. Free breakfast btw.
Great Hotel and Front Desk Staff!!!
Hotel close to all in a Great Area with a great front desk staff !! Very Clean
Lovely hotel with a splash of class
The staff were extremely warm and receptive. Breakfast was average but worth the money paid. Hotel design is fantastic and is very close to a few metro stations.
Good Place to stay, Close to the Vatican.
I took the Youth and Young Adults groups from our church to visit the Vatican and we stayed at Donna Laura Palace. Overall, our stay was comfortable, the Hotel staff made us feel at home and they fulfilled all expected services. At some point we did feel that they were kind of fresh and cold, but later we found that this is the norm for most Italians after we had few encounters with others, such as Metro and Vatican workers.
nice Hotel good staff good location...................
We enjoyed our stay here
We made a two-night, three-person-room reservation at this hotel because of price and location considerations. The facility and staff are very nice and the location is near Vatican City and public transportation. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast-included was very good. We truly enjoyed our stay here.
Ideal for Vatican / Rome centre
Hotel is ideal for sight seeing 30 mins walk to Vatican nice clean hotel staff were great . We were moved on arrival due to over booking but we were moved to nice hotel for 1 night , nice driver to transfer us and next day they transferred our luggage back so our day didn't get interrupted. We were promised an upgrade for the hassle but that didn't happen but not really a problem as we were to tired at night to care. Wouldn't recommend eating in restaurant expensive and not a lot of choice but there are great restaurants 5 mind walk around the corner. Overall very good and would go back.
OK to slightly disappointing.
Average hotel, situated just outside city centre. Guests should be prepared for a walk into the city centre, though walking back at night should be done with care. Breakfast Ok, better get there early though as tables slow to be cleaned and limited tables leading to overflow. We came down at 9.30 and were jostling for a table, then settling down for one with uncleared plates and cutlery. Had to ask them to clear it away, but to be fair they looked overrun. There is a gym and sauna, but these can be hired out entirely. We called to enquire to use, receptionist said she would call back and let us know but this did not happen. We requested a quiet room, were told at reception that they put us in a room at the back, but this was not the case. Room looked onto main road, most at the hotel are anyway, so there was a lot of noise. Traffic was busy, the windows are double glazed but the noise seem to cut right through. Definitely not for light sleepers! The room was clean enough but definitely snug in size compared to the pictures available we saw prior to booking.
Reasonably central location
Very nicely appointed room which was marred slightly by noisy plumbing from adjacent rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. I/we would be happy to recommend it to others.
10 minutes flat walk to Piazza Populi
The ground floor room was spacious; continental breakfast lovely; and the lounge/bar/waiting room very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. You need to feel comfortable/fit enough to walk 10 minutes to get to the start of 'old Rome' at Piazza Populi. The walk is pleasant and flat - cross onto the other side of the river on Ponti Mattias (bridge) when walking to the city - more pleasant and less traffic. Vatican city is only 20 minutes walk away - again cross the bridge, walk along the river and cross back - this route is much easier than going cross-country from the hotel to the Vatican. Once you leave the Piazza the streets are pretty empty - few people - keep that in mind if you are walking back in the dark. Otherwise a cheap taxi ride will get you home. The hotel itself was very quiet even though there was traffic on the street outside during the week.
clean hotel disappointing facilities
Hotel well located for St. Peter's Square, close to the river and short walk from the metro station.
Recommend but ONLY When There's a Deal
The hotel was very nice. The front desk staff was efficient but a bit "upity" - I felt that because I had booked via Hotels.com I wasn't their "normal guest" because I had gotten the room at a very competitive price. Therefore I wasn't worthy of a higher standard of service. I felt they placed me in a very small room with no view for that reason.
Highly recommended
Donna Laura Palace is a great place to stay in Rome. It is in a nice neighborhood and really close to all of the main attractions - only 2 stops away on the metro from the Spanish Steps! For the price that you pay, the hotel is of great value. It is very clean, has a complimentary breakfast in the morning and the rooms are quite large for European standards. This hotel is lovely, and one of the best deals you can find in Rome.
No Palace
Hotel was not located near St. Peter's - which is deceiving. It was a bit shabby and my room was very noisy. I had a difficult time sleeping. Staff was nice at desk though... Overall it was not bad for the price.
A great hotel in Roma
i really loved this hotel. they people were great, the hotel it self felt like a palace. the breakfast is fabulous, and they have a nice lobby lounge and cafe. next time i am in Rome, i will stay there again for sure.
Noisy
They placed me on the ground floor, the walls are rather thin and I could hear the conference going on in the basement as well as the sound of anyone checking in. The staff was friendly and sympathetic, but could only offer the room adjacent to the one I currently occupied, which did not help me. There was an overuse of perfume or some other odour reducing agent that was a bit overwhelming in the room. Overall, it was a good deal, but I would have booked elsewhere had I known about the noise issues
Good combination of price, comfort and locale
The staff was helpful from the start, storing our bags until check-in. Francesca was especially pleasant and helpful. The rooms, though small, were nicely appointed, and the small balconies were an especially nice touch. Taxis were readily available, and no destination in the city center was more than a 12 euro ride away...there is also an easy walk to the Metro. All in all, a very pleasant experience!
decent value for money
we had booked two rooms and arrived early. Were given one room right away so we could stow our luggage and get refreshed.Rooms quite small but very clean. However the aircon was not working and despite requests no one bothered to come to help fix the problem. As we were leaving very early next morning did not get a chance to sample the breakfast. However were given a very meagre packed snack in lieu of bfast including some dry packaged toast,a packet of jam and chocolate spead with a small cup of yogurt.
Quiet location by the river...close walk to metro
We had a great 2 days in Rome. This is a lovely little hotel with an exceptional staff. Francesca was particularly helpful and always happy!
Elegantly furnished hotel
Helpful staff and within easy reach of romes tourist attractions. Missed having an iron in the room.
Nice location for the price!
Good price, clean, nice, and a good location. Cheesy decor in room but very clean.
Good hotel with all you need
Front desk staff overall were very helpful and kind, although there were a couple who may not be fully versed in what being in the service industry is about. Traveled as a single person. Got a room on the first floor, no balconies on that floor overlooking the Tiber river as the hotel states. That must be reserved for non-single travelers. The room was nice, clean, had everything you needed and good WiFi most of the time. Breakfast was a good start to the day. Quiet neighborhood on the weekends, busy during the workweek, the location was OK.. About a 10 minute walk to Lepanto metro station and about 20 to Saint Peter's Square / Vatican. After sightseeing all day, that walk from the Vatican feels long. Everywhere else you want to go is on the other side of the Tiber (e.g. Colosseum, Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain) so the metro is the way to go and easy to maneuver. Overall, had a nice stay there.
Well worth every penny!
This was by far the best hotel that we have ever had in Europe. The room was large, the bathroom had a jetted tub, and off the room was a huge private deck with a table chairs and lounge chairs. You can see the top of the Duomo in Vatican City. This was well worth the money we spent. The only possible downside is there is very limited parking onsite.
Beautiful hotel bedrooms with marble bathrooms
A lovely base for a Rome stay with beautiful rooms, a mural on the bedroom wall, marble bathrooms and air-conditioning. Pay for a deluxe room for more space. Dinner on the rooftop terrace with a view to St Peter's is romantic but the menu is limited to some pasta dishes and one meat dish. The buffet breakfast is extensive but they were slow to replace items and did not seem to check themselves. You can have breakfast in the bright basement restaurant or on the adjacent terrace. The large jacuzzi/hot tub and sauna were never hot. Maybe you have to ask at the reception for them to pre-heat these facilities. There was also free chilled mineral water in the bar. There is valet parking on the front for about 15 cars but you leave your keys in a box on the unmanned reception. Not a very secure system. Cars cannot be moved between 22.00 and 07.00 which is fair enough. Metro station Lepanto is apparently 800m away. St Peter's and the Vatican is about 2km. Villa Borghese and the park is within 10 minutes walk on the other side of the Tiber River. There are some good restaurants and bars in nearby streets. The area is a good class residential one with shops near the metro.
the rooms would need a wee touch up although small they are comfortable. Larger people may have issues as the room looks much bigger on the web site. The fridge was not cold enough but staff insisted it was" normal " for Rome. Food was good much the same menu every day. Plenty on offer at breakfast and staff are very friendly and helpful. location is quite central to most tourist sites about a brisk 30 minute walk to Vatican ,Popolo or 10 minute walk to metro Lepanto which gives you access to all the top tourist attractions. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel donna laura palace
Lovely
Really pleased with the hotel. there is a metro stop just around the corner we used this a few times. metro is easy and cheap to use. It is walking distance to all the main attractions however some people may find it a bit far. Hotel staff knowledgable and friendly. Breakfast was nice, I had cake and croissants mmm! but there was also bread/ meat/ cheese/ fruit/ yoghurts and there was variations each day.
Away from the crowd and touristic areas
We wanted a one night in Rome where we can visit the Vatican as we have visited earlier the rest of the city. And we have been told that this hotel is close to the Vatican, but honestly it was not, I mean we have expected that the hotel is at least 10 minutes away by foot. But it is not the case. We have been told that the metro is two blocks close by but we rather took a cab and visited the Vatican. The hotel is in a very good condition so is the rooms, decent space and decent comfy beds. The hotel team is very helpful, and the breakfast was average to good. Don't expect a lot from Breakfasts in Italy, they all offer the same things, cheese and ham, some eggs, croissants and juices, in addition to coffee and tea. I really like the hotel considering the rate as it was a very good hotel for the price we paid, but i wont advise it to tourists honestly, maybe you should choose a closer option. Vatican is amazing, sisteen chappel and st Peter, Impressive!
Good hotel with best quality-price ratio in Italy.
It located on river Fiume Tevere shore, within walking distance to Vatican. Anyway taxi to main locations cost around 10 EUR, and take less than 10 minutes. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpfully, room big and nice. Restaurant very good. Some rooms no have terrace, but upon request we get room with terrace what is essential for smokers in Italy. So, hotel is smokers friendly, breakfast was very good, price was excellent.
Great breakfast and wonderful staff.
Great hotel for the price. A longer walk to sights, but well worth it. In a wealthy neighborhood along the river. A quiet area.
great hotel and staff
close to lepanto station , convenient lovely view and lovely staff. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely return back next time to rome
Easy access to city center (just a 20 min. walk).
Excellent stay! Although very helpful, staff should show more cheerful and smiling. Not enough parking space.
Donna Laura Palace by OMNIA hotels | Hotel in Rome | Travala.com
The Donna Laura was unable to accommodate me, because of maintenance work, but transferred my booking to a sister hotel. Everything was smoothly handled, and my stay was immaculate. 5* to both hotels!
