They upgraded my room for free. Very efficient check in and check out with friendly staff. If I go back to Milan I’ll be sure to stay here again.
Great staff who were friendly, helpful and efficient. I was given a free upgrade of a single room which was much appreciated. The room was clean, well equiped and quiet.
There was hard bed with a single brick-like pillow. No kleenex in the room. NO BAR service!
Nice and easy to go to.
Terrible AC the room was always warm. They should have people who speaks English so they can help customers .
Bad service
Hotel great location and it was clean. Bed not good and no water to shower on second day with no warning and refusal to give a refund for the note.
An excellent experience, as per all of the structure of the room and the hotel, as well as per the perfect location and the reasonable cost. Thank you
Very friendly and accommodation staff! So convenient as just a 30 min walk from the centre and 5 min walk from railway station.
It was very close to Milano Centrale. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel
Nice hotel very clean ,bed very comfortable shower good easy to find. Check in good very friendly. Not to far to center we walk. But they don’t give you water or coffee but they have bring your own . He let us check in early that super nice.
Room was clean and staff was friendly.
Fantastic
We had a great time at the hotel, the room was very clean, fresh towels every day, room made up daily. The staff are very friendly and helpful, checking in and out so easy. We skipped the breakfast option but had coffee from bar, normal prices1.5- 2.5 €. In one word the hotel was --- FANTASTIC! We would definitely book again
Good hotel near the main train station. Good value for money
close to train station. Very spacious room, great bathroom. Very clean
Very spacious room, very clean linens and room . Has a safe in the room. Few blocks from train station Milano Centrale
JUST SLEEP do not eat or drink
The room is small, but nice! Good bed! Brekfest - TERRIBLE! no egs, no bread, no juce, no fresh briosch, poor service. You have to pay for every coffe, tea, briosch...ecc
Nice place
We stay here because it was close to the car hire place. Easy 1 min walk . We hired a car to driver the alps. It is a bit far from the centre of Milan. We got taxis in and out. Not far from the main train station which was also convenient for us. Reception were great and very helpfull.
nice location at good prices.
convenient location close to Central station... good prices...but very noisy nightlife... earplugs required if you want to sleep.... very friendly staff... old hotel kept clean but could use renovations... hot tub jets were broken in my room.
An amazing hotel, is very near to the central station
5 stars
Spacious and nicely organized. But the place has poor insulation with regard to noise coming from adjacent rooms
Very friendly staff.
Good hotel, clean rooms, polite staff. Exellent location - nearly Milano Central Station and metro station Repubblica and Centrale (5 mins walk). We were in this hotel for second time and we will stay again next time when we go in Milano.
Decent Stay
Decent stay for one night.
Great value and centrally located
Centrally located about 5 minutes from Milan Central Station. Friendly staff, nice room and very good value in what can be an expensive city.
nice staff good breakfast nice room
Heading in the right direction i hope!
Hotel is under renovation so the condition during my stay wasn't great - However, they seem to be investing in the right things, bed was great as was the shower - hopefully the rooms will be decorated with some artwork/color and the main lifts will be working . Will revisit when renovations are complete
Fire hazard
Not impressed at all with this hotel. Hotel is under renovation but not listed as such and we were put on the first floor where the renovation were taking place. The whole floor, including our room smelt strongly of fresh paint, there were workmen outside on the terrace all day meaning we could not open our blind. Room looked very bare and unfinished. Very noisy all day from the work taking place. Most worryingly was the fact that the smoke detector in our room was still covered over by tape- surely a fire hazard. Would of expected some sort of discounted rate or to be put on a different floor at least.
Excellent
Reception service perfect. Excellent place
Location good, friendly staff, hotel is old (( need to repair
Needs renovations
Toilet and bath need to be fixed, with molds and the sliding cover needs to be replaced. In short, the room needs to be re modeled or the whole hotel I guess.
Great place, spacious room aircon included which was great during the heatwave.
Good Value for Location
Great location for transport links. Good breakfast. Room small but Ok. Very clean. Friendly staff.
Good location, comfortable lounge area. Breakfast room a but squashed but variety good. Room very small.
Overall was a good stay but the noise from outside was very loud in the morning
Good location and value.
Good central location, comfortable lobby area. Wish we were put in a renovated room
Not very happy that this hotel was not listed as under renovations. Hammering started early ended late. Shower had mildew and broken shower facet. We were given room with twin beds I asked to be moved & was told to come back in the a.m. to see if any other room available. Since we were staying for 2 nights only we didn't bother. Little bugs flying around, was bit a few times. (mosquito?) Over all not very pleased.
Arrived at Milan Centrale Train station - hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station. Nice neighborhood, Friendly staff, very clean room. A bit small, but as Europe goes, it is within reason. There is a bar on the Ground floor, so some live entertainment for the evening. Our stay was for only 1 night, but it was a peaceful, quiet and comfortable evening
The stuff in the front desk never smiled or said something to me and only talked to my Italian partner. I was asking him about something in English but he just answered to my partner in Italian. Then, we heard so loud noise in the room such as a construction, it was so noisy that we can't take a nap and we tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room was out of order. So after all we called the hotel via my smartphone. Then the front person said he hadn't known there was that sound and he didn't know when it was going to finish. The hotel didn't give us any suggestion how to deal with that noise. That's why we went out of the hotel. Over all, it was really bad experience for me enough to write this review.
Decent place close to central station
place served its purpose well. close to central station, nice staff
pretty close to milan central station. no complaints.
Very good stay overall. WiFi didn’t work very well.
Incorrect hotel description
We booked room because description said room had air conditioning- needless to say, it didn’t. I have some breathing issues so this item is critical for me. We called front desk and they had person come to room but he told us they turned off the air 2 weeks ago. Incorrect description by hotel caused us a sleepless night - I left my phone number for manager to call but to date (3days later) I haven’t heard from them.
One night in Milan
This was a one-night business stay. I had stayed here a couple of times before, so I know the location is convenient for the Central and Republica stations, as well as a range of restaurants. The room was fine, wifi is good, breakfast is OK if a little crowded. Service is fine and Reception was happy to printof my return boarding pass.
Charming
Parking was close, at an additional cost. We liked being near the train station. The Hotel is quiet, and they offer a decent breakfast at a reasonable price, you can get an omelet if you request it, and they had fresh fruit, the usual pastries, muesli, meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts. A small bar is available if desired at night, and there's a comfortable lounge area. The room was spacious, though the bathroom was small. Everything was clean, with a bit of wear, which doesn't bother our family. We traveled with one dog, and found a grassy area for dogs relief nearby, and at the train station. We enjoyed the unique "Cat Cafe" next door, and drove to Lake Como for a day trip, which was easy, and excellent.
Business visit close to Central Station
Very satisfactory, convenient hotel near Central Station; good local area and attractive breakfast room.
Waiting for the answer about the robbery
Still waiting from them to answer about the robbery of my laptop inside of the room at the Hotel. Did the police report by myself at the local police station and submitted all papers to the reception at the day of check out in the morning.
as usual couldn't check in early made me wait...cheap hotel but there are better around the area closer to central station...mini fridge didn't work asked copious times to fix it but they replaced it with another useless fridge...front desk guy however very helpful and always followed up with queries
Very very nice hotel near to Milano central
Very nice location and closed to central Milano , stations, shops and very nice staff and clean rooms
Little gem of a hotel.
Booked as a stop over between flights from the UK to Naples. The hotels not in the most salubrious neighbourhood - which is not the hotels fault at all. The hotel itself is a little gem! It's spotless, the staff are friendly and attentive, its well decorated and comfortable. I arrived late at night and left early in the morning and was greeted with smiles and friendly folks despite the hour! I'd recommend the hotel to anyone.
Very bad service
we booked and payed a room for four but they only made beds for two and only left towels for two. We told the reception about the problem right away and they told us that they would fix it. When we came back in the evening nothing had been done and we had to complain a second time before it was fixed. Believe it or not, the next day we only got towels for three... Monday morning they emptied the bottle containers just outside our room (it seemed) at 7am.
Middle of the road hotel in middle of the city
Standard italian business hotel - good location and decent condition
Excellent hotel close to Central Station in Milan. Perfect for business trip.
good for the price and the position
not comfortable bed large and clean bathroom poor breakfast
Neighborhood iffy, hotel was nice.
The layout of the room was better than I expected. It seemed more spacious than I thought. However the shades on the windows seemed to be metal slats that I couldn't figure out how to open, so I was a bit worried about the area if this was the window. We were there on a Sunday and all the shops were closed and had their metal gates down and a bunch of graffiti on them so it didn't feel like it was a good area. The staff all seemed friendly and the breakfast had decent choices. The lobby had an extra sitting area which was nice to have.
Close to central station.
Rooms are clean but very small, sometimes elevator is not working and we have to go to the 4th floor, no variety for the breakfast buffet. Hotel staff of the night shift are very friendly and helpful but the staff of the morning shift are not friendly at all they are not even smiling.
A place to return to.
Knowledgeable friendly and super service oriented.
Nice and close to railway station.
It is sufficiently close to railway station with nice and clean area. There exist several nice restaurants with pizza in Alforno. The hotel, room and towels were quite clean. Since I have already paid the tax, i was surprised that I had to pay further 4 euro tax (tourist tax, they said).
Good location, not good service!
We stayed there for few nights and even though the location was close to metro station but not happy with the room condition and service. It was ok for one time experience!
Milan Trip
Week end trip, nice inside, room smaller than used to but still nicely decorated and over all comfortable. Bed a bit on the hard side. Immediate response from front desk. Had to pay extra for breakfast so opted out. Within easy walking distance from main train station. Neighborhood had a lot of graffiti on surrounding buildings.
Family trip
Nice location but too pricy for the quality that they provide in high seasons. Staff are nice
Very bad experience.
no relation between 4 stars payment with less than one star quality!!
An iffy neighborhood, but clean
The building is not in the best neighborhood, but it was close to main Train station. Arriving at night, glad there were 4 of us, street was not the best. Staff wasn't really friendly. Glad we only stayed the night ...wish we had chosen another hotel. only thing close is the main train terminal.
A Milan Stint
We needed to be in Milan for a nigh and the hotel was the perfect spot. The rooms were excellent and comfortable. The staff was gracious and we were able to walk to the train station easily. Great location!
The hotel is near the train station but the rate is high and without breakfast.
not good
The room smelled like cigarettes and the bed felt as hard as the floor. Also the lights kept flickering. When i booked the hotel it said there was a shuttle from there to the airport but that was a lie, the shuttle is at the train station so I guess that was not a big problem since the hotel is like a 10 min walk from the train station. Overall not a good stay
Decent for the price
My family and I stayed here for one night because it was close and walkable to the train station. This hotel was nothing special, but a good value for the price we paid. The biggest negative we found was that there was no food close by.
good location for a reasonable price
We stayed here a few times over the years, the hotel is very close to Central Station, the room we stayed in this time was very small however the price is reasonable. Would stay here again.
Simple hotel close to train station
We booked this room through the Expedia secret deal (where you don't find out where you're staying until you've completed the booking. We were only there one night in transit and this hotel met all of our requirements for being a basic, comfortable and clean place.
Great hotel in Milan with the comforts of home .
I had a great stay at this hotel. It was close to the main train station and located in a safe and quiet neighborhood surrounded by cafes and bistros. I would definitely stay there again .
Milan for a night
Its a nice hotel with a good location near Milan central station.
Really lovely stay
This was a "book it the day before" thing on my travels, costing 30€ for a single room. Was greated by lovely, friendly staff. 10 min walk from train station Clean and comfortable. Little supermarket round the corner Would definitely stay again
Worst hotel during our trip
Hotel staff very rude and ad tempered. We were given a room that had not been cleaned since the last guests left, with no toilet paper, a shower that did not work very well with body grim in and a bed that was lopsided and very uncomfortable.
Great location, clean renovated room
Our family of 4 stayed for one night in a stopover between Geneva and Venice. Short walk from the train station in a quiet neighborhood. Large, clean, renovated room with comfortable beds. Walking distance to Duomo cathedral. WiFi was spotty. No common sitting area for the family but for just one night it was fine. Overall a great value.
closed to mainstation in a quiet and nice quarter
the furniture is very old fashioned, the bathroom was newly renovated and nice. The breakfast room is not inviting
delivers as per expectations
good!
Ants everywhere
Basic hotel with an irregular Internet connection but an ample supply of ants. The shutters on the outside of the window were bolted shut and it was not possible to open the window. The water from the shower took about 7 hours to drain.
Heart of Milan
Right near train station - easy to find. Near subway line. Room was clean & lovely. Staff very helpful, providing directions, map, tips. Staff spoke excellent English.
Good Location
The Hotel is very closed to main train station which would be very convenient to go everywhere in Milan and back to your home country by train or plane I`ve booked the Hotel in Last minutes deal with almost 50 Euro per night which was very good price, but with the Normal price which is almost 150 Euro you could find much better hotel in the Milan. If I travel again to Milan, I will select another Hotel for the long stay
not good at all
such the worst hotel ever
expensive, surprise taxes and the stuff spy your eating during the breakfast
NO TV, NO AC, EARLY MORNING CONSTRUCTION
THE TV DID NOT WORK, EVEN AFTER HOTEL STAFF TRIED TO FIX IT, THE AC DID NOT WORK, AND THERE IS CONSTRUCTION GOING ON AT HOTEL. HAMMERS, COMPRESSORS, WORKERS, AND BIG TIME NOISE STARTS AT 8:00 AM. SILENCE WAS THE RESPONSE FROM THE HOTEL STAFF WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THESE ISSUES. I WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.
Comfortable hotel in good location
Room is simple and quite clean, nice lobby atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff...was very happy that a receptionist kept aside the chocolates I lost in their luggage room and handed it back when I enquired about it. Hotel is really close to main train station, easy access to metro too. Various cafes/restaurants and shops nearby.
ok hotel
basic hotel old fashion design 20 minute walk into the city centre very close to train station. easy access via public transport to airports at reasonable prices
Just "OK"
Overall the hotel was "ok" the location was good the rooms were fine the the price we paid as well as the cleanliness and the staff could have been a bit friendlier. One thing that did sti I out was the 36 degrees outside and that the air conditioner just did not help. When we entered the room the air conditioners were on we left came back 2 hours later and the rooms were still hot. Because of that we ended up not even staying the one night we paid for because we would not have been able to sleep anyway.
Not worth it
It took a long time to check in. Air conditioning did not work. Windows would not stay open...in fact, they came slamming down and could have really hurt someone if their hand was in the way. The blinds on the windows were broken too. We did not stay.
hopeless hotel
very bad and cheap in all senses. it is dirty and not suitable.
Great find w/in walking distance of train station.
Front desk staff was very helpful with dining and travel recommendations for first time visitors to Milan. Bed and pillows were as tired as we were so it was a good fit.
Noisy air con
For the money it was ok, but the aircon unit in the bedroom was clumsy and noisy. Wireless signal was inconsistent too.
Very Average Hotel
Will not stay here again. Its a 10 min walk from the central station. Rooms are really really old and need refurbishment. I would not recommend unless you are really on a budget and can not spend the extra £10 to go to a better hotel.
Good location not so good experience
Hotel was about 5 minutes from the station we were able to walk to the station and the station offers transportation to all airports. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. We only stayed here for one night so we do not know how the breakfast buffet was. Wifi only works in the lobby area not in the rooms as its about 3 euros a day for wifi service. The hotel was going thru some renovations when we arrived and thank god they are remodeling as it is needed. Our bathroom was tiny and the files were painted in hot pink. The bathroom smelled like fresh paint.
One night stand in Milan
It was a shower and a bed! 3 train stops from the duomo. Nothing super fancy but a hole. Would stay again.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I generally don't leave reviews. I've never written a single review in my life on the internet before. So if I'm doing this, this means business. I'm serious. I don't complain much, but this I had to: 1) The hotel staffs were friendly, except for the old man who mans the desk at night. He was downright rude and condescending, when I've clearly made efforts to be nice. He would sigh in annoyance whenever I made a request; I call to arrange a wake-up call, and he sighs; I call to order room service, and he sighs; I tell him that the heater is broken, and he sighs. 2) The single room I was given looks nothing like the photos they have here. Once you open your suitcase, there's no room to move about. This hotel should be honest with their prospective customers and put up some photos of single rooms, not the deceiving ones with double beds. 3) The heater was broken in my room and they didn't bother to offer the change of rooms until I asked for it. I clearly asked them to fix it in the morning; they told me it was fixed when I came back in the evening, but it wasn’t. 4) The room I changed to was spacious, a huge improvement from the first, but it reeked of smoke. 5) It is NOT conveniently located from the central station, especially if you’re dragging a huge suitcase. 6) The rooms are generally clean. But towels smell funny and the toilet is ancient. The reviews I’d read before looked genuinely awfull, so I was expecting the worst when I came to this hotel--I wasn't let down.

great hotel near the Central Station of Milan
The hotel delle Nazioni is about 300 meters from Milan's central station, very easy to take the shuttle bus to the airport. Near the hotel there are all 3 subway stations. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, clean and have free wi-fi. The buffet breakfast is very good. The hotel has a private parking.
expensive for this kind of standard. quite run down. shower tap fell off. lift is slow.
Very close to all ammenities
The concierge was the most helpful and delightful he could have been
Run down and uncomfortable
Even though it was just for one night... 12 hours really. This hotel was not even worth the inexpensive price. worn out carpet, uncomfortable beds, noisy, etc.

Stay review
The hotel was easy to find & not too far from train station. Easy check-in & all was ok (clean room & good bathroom for 1 night) but hallway from elevator to room wreaked of cigarettes, very unpleasant. Once inside the room, no problem as it was clean & quiet but hallway was very off putting.
