There was nowhere to unpack, only hanging space. This was a room for two occupied by one. If two persons had tried to occupy it, where would they have unpacked?
The place is old. No amenities. The bathroom has no shelves. No convenient features . I would give it a 2* not a 4. No restaurants Could not even get a plug for the phone. Stay away from this place. Breakfast is bad.
Excellent Stay - but expensive laundry service
The staff at the front counter were very friendly and helpful regarding our questions about food and transportation, as well as when we needed something in our room. The free breakfast was wonderful. We also at dinner once at the restaurant, and both food and cocktails were delicious. One (of many) reasons for picking this hotel was because they offered "laundry facilities" on-site. We were traveling from Paris and packed assuming we would do laundry upon arriving in Rome. Truth be told, it was a "laundry service" and turned out to be very expensive. I probably could have bought a new wardrobe for what I spent laundering them.
Very good
The customer service was very friendly and helpful. The hotel did not have an accessibility for people that are disabled example was the bathtub There were no barriers for a person to hold onto. The TV was not a smart TV only had one English Channel, which was the news. The breakfast was always the same. There’s no change up for each day. It was either scrambled eggs or bacon. The bacon was barely cooked and soaked in oil. The air conditioner was not working and it got warm in the room. When taking a shower there was no fan, so when your done everything is fogged and full of moisture also there’s no shower curtain, so all the water went on the floor which is unsafe as I did slip. When charging our phones over night, when shutting the lights off to sleep it shot all the receptacles so our phones couldn’t charge. Not having access to the coffee machine till a certain time, having to pay 10 euros for 2 coffees. The mattress was very hard and the pillows very flat.
flawless
Very clean and so simpatico staff. It was a pleasure to stay.
Great hotel in a quiet location. A bit removed from the main attractions so needs a taxi in most cases but not too far
Beautiful and ideal location. Staff members were beyond exceptional (shoutout Andreas
Perfect place to stay
Lovely place, very beautiful and extremely friendly staff. I definitely recommend.
Good value, pleasant stay, a few technical issues
Overall, our visit was good. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional, the room was clean and stylish (albeit a bit smaller than we were expecting) and the location, while further out from the city than we would ideally opt for, was in a safe, tidy neighbourhood with good access to the local parks and with Uber Black range. The main points of criticism would be the broken lift (we almost got stuck on the first day in a fairly dilapidated elevator, which wouldn’t open on our level before sinking to the basement level and letting us out there) and a lack of functioning air conditioning in our room (as far as I can tell, the icons on the display were flashing, indicating that there was no water in the a/c system). In any case there was no instruction manual available to help me use it and the room was a bit stuffy, even in late April/early May (I hope they get it fixed for midsummer). Overall however, it was a pleasant stay for a bank holiday weekend, at a time when many similar or inferior properties were going for a lot more money.
Excellent value for the money, good breakfasts, helpful staff.
Beautiful location in the heart of Parioli. The only downside is that the restaurant is closed every Sunday and if it ia open, there is always a private event. The staff was incredible and the rooms were lovely as well.
good restaurant
Favorite hotel in Rome. Beautiful rooms, super nice staff and very cosy. The neighborhood is non touristy Parioli, a beautiful 35 minute walk to Piazza del Popolo, the beginning of the historic center.
Comfortable hotel in the outskirts of the Center
I enjoyed my stay in Hotel Degli Aranci. The location is in a pretty posh area, connected by a few busses and trams, though I ended up walking mostly (like 30-45 Mins to the center) since the public transport is so unreliable in Rome. The breakfast was pretty good, had a selection of fruit, baked good, cereal and hot eggs and sausages. The room itself was pretty small but cozy and comfortable. The gym is pretty small (probably 2-3 can firt there at a time) but was enough for a decent workout, plus it had a jacuzzi and a small sauna room, which is always nice. The service was alright, though I was annoyed that for some reason they kept on asking me what room I'm at since it did not appear they asked the other guests, and only during checkout they decided to ask for the city tax, when I was already in a rush to go to my taxi (they should do that at check in). The only real minus is the lift, it's extremely slow and small (maybe 3 in shape people could fit there at a time). Overall I would stay here again, since I did like the facilities and the area and it is good value for the price (about 50 USD a night)
Beautiful hotel in a charming neighborhood on the fringes of the center of Rome.
Arrived at 10pm. Staff watched me struggle with my bags and didn’t help. Was given a room where AC wasn’t working properly but was told it just takes time. Even though it didn’t change all night. See through curtains. Ground floor with people walking past and seeing in. Asked to change rooms and was told I had to wait till the next day which turned out to be a lie. Next day reception staff was much more accomodating and was given a decent room. No ironing facilities.
very nice hotel and fairly priced but it needs some refurbishment in the bathrooms. The shower heads and hoses that are too cheap and old for an hotel of this level, they need to be replaced.
The hotel staff was so welcoming and helpful! The rooms are stunning and we really enjoyed our stay. We recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome for a few days!
Great room except for heat.
I would like to say thank you to the staff and hotel. The hotel was in great location and had great service. It was comfortable and clean. Had little to no complaints accept for air conditioning. As a person knowing Rome will be hot I looked for air conditioning. I was a bit disappointed for the air conditioning. The room would not got any colder than 25 degrees Celsius(77F). If you require the room to be colder than that I recommend another place. Otherwise when Rome would be colder I would highly recommend it.
Service of the staff was great and the hotel is very clean. We had just got engaged and wanted to celebrate in the bar but at 11pm were told it had closed already. Plastic cups for drinks in the room a bit cheap for a 4* hotel.
Every person on the front desk was extremely nice and helped us with everything we needed help with
Lovely hotel in a converted villa. We booked there on a friend's recommendation not realizing how inconvenient the location was (our fault) in a lovely residential area of Rome (Parioli) pretty far away from everything... long walk to public transport, expensive taxi ride to anywhere and nothing much to do or see nearby. Our room was nice and comfortable with a lovely terrace overlooking a garden. The usual lack of space in the bathroom but ample storage in the room itself. So-so shower, AC not the greatest. Breakfast was pretty bad... terrible scrambled "eggs", a lot of pastries and really bad coffee (in ROME yet!).... and it's an extra.... They supposedly serve dinner but out of four dishes on the menu three were unavailable and it's a hefty walk to any nearby restaurant. The kitchen needs a serious upgrade in quality of food and service. The front desk clerk was nice and very accommodating. A lovely place to stay if you need to be in that part of town but not really suitable for tourists who are there to see the many sights Rome has to offer.
Too Small elevator to bring in suitcases upstairs. It takes several times to bring up two large and 2 carry on luggages.
Biggest issue is they closed their restaurant to a private party with no advanced notification and closest other restaurant the recommended was a 15 minutes walk also not all staff speak English
Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Great value!
Very beautiful hotel, comfortable and convenient.
Great bed and breakfast. Classy look. Great elevator. Perfect location.
Lovely hotel in a quiet neighborhood, at a reasonable distance (5 min walk) from the train station and only 1 stop to Piazza del Popolo (where there is a metro station). Very good breakfast buffet and great capuccinos, not so good dinner at the restaurant.
Very nice hotel, good location and very comfortable :)
My only complaint is that the room I got was below street level with window facing a wall...and I had to upgrade /adding money.
Ideal place for business traveller and couples
Stayed for two nights during business trip Quiet area safe to walk about Many Restaurants are close by including excellent wine bar Also close for public transport and reasonable easy acces into old Rome if you want to breakfast is good
Great location, clean rooms, unhelpful staff
We had paid for 3 nights before arrival, on the first night they said they had overbooked and moved us to the Best Western Hotel (so no guarantees on actually having your booked room-their explanation "these things happen". They did upgrade one room for the other nights but only after we suggested it as the best western is not the equivalent type of hotel. No apologises made by team. The rooms are clean and tidy, a credit to the housekeeping team. The location is brilliant with good bus & tram access. So easy to use and google maps is the best bet as getting help from the front of house staff is near impossible. God help you if you actually needed help! The breakfast is average. The restaurant is absolutely awful-if you think bread sticks and strawberry & mint risotto sounds great, you will be mistaken. This needs to be taken off the menu asap. The surrounding restaurants are excellent & walking distance. Double check your bill as we were over charged (their records proved this) and it was difficult for the front desk staff to calculate for 4 bottles of water and we had to add this up for them. I would only recommend this hotel based on the location & quality of rooms. The service lets it down and frankly you can't trust that your trip will be hassle free with this hotel. Four star it is not.
Comfortable and cost stay and hearty break fast.
Nice,clean hotel
Good hotel a short walk to main attractions.Staff were really helpful and friendly.Great view from our balcony.
Very cramped and tight accommodation.
We arrived an hour and a half before check in time. The hotel let us check in after looking at watch a few times and reminding us that check in was not till 2pm but yes room was ready. We got to our room and it was not in the main building but right behind where the cars were parked in a random little corner. The room was a triple room- a big bed and a single bed. We were a family of four with two kids 8 and 6. The room was extremely tight. Very uncomfortable for any more than two adults. I would not recommend at all! Soon after check in we realized the wifi was not working in our room. So my husband went to the front desk to address the issue- after 20 minutes of not working still I went to the front desk and asked how much longer it would be and suggested a change of room maybe. I was asked if I needed the wifi right now?! To which I replied yes! Then I was offered a spot in the lobby standing and using the lobby wifi as that was apparently working fine. Not at all good customer service. Our kids were starving and we were all tired- I told the guy behind the desk and he shrugged his shoulders. We told the front desk we were going to eat. When we got back two hours later- wifi was fixed. The room was clean, but noisy. we were facing the street and on the main floor. There was noise even in the middle of the night. Would not stay here again. The area was quaint- residential and with lots of options for food and coffee. Will stay in this area again but not at this hotel.
Not as expected
Don't expect to get a good size room as advertised on Hotels.com. Otherwise after squeezing between the suitcases and the bed, it was just a beautiful and very convenient stay. High mark for the Staff in its entirety.
Nice rooms
Lovely hotel, Nice rooms
Covenient and clean hotel
Good area with good restaurants
just what we wanted
in particular one very helpful staff member to get to restaurants lots of steps down, but then have to go up them on way back
Really disappointing hotel
We arrived to initial confusion about our booking. When they eventually located it, we were taken to a basement room with a small window which was hot and stuffy. We reported that the air con did not work and were told to open the window. When I complained a second time I was told "it's November, we have heating not air con". The room was cooler with the window open but we were then disturbed by noise from the road in addition to the sounds of the dining room being prepared for breakfast every morning.
4 nights in Rome
Rooms were very comfortable despite the intense heat outside and very tastefully decorated. Rooms were clean and all staff were more than friendly!
Love love love! Would stay again no doubt
It was one of my favorite hotels During our trip, (we stayed in Rome, Florence, and Venice) the room was the perfect size, the balcony was huge and beautiful, extremely relaxing and in a "rich" as they say area. However the customer service was flawless, not at all snobby like our taxi drivers would say lol. The only negative thing I can truly say is that the bathroom (especially the shower) was extremely tiny, even for myself and I'm only 5'2. I'd love to show the room but unfortunately I only took videos (which I can't upload) but worth the stay! No doubt in mind that I would choose this hotel next time we come back!
Lovely hotel and staff
We had a very pleasant stay, they provided us with a cot for our baby with really short notice, the concierge was extremely helpful and of such a great attitude and gentle manners, answered all the questions even better than the reception staff! Breakfast was very varied and included fresh fruits, thumbs up for that!
Disastrous Service - Reservations Useless
RESERVATION IS MEANINGLESS! Despite having a guaranteed reservation, upon my arrival I was told without a valid explanation that they did not have a room for me! This was a disaster, as I had less than an hour to shower, change and get to the American Ambassador's private residence for a VIP dinner and event. Which was the reason why I booked this hotel, as it was within walking distance to the Ambassador's Villa. Unfortunately against my desire, they transferred me to another hotel that was much farther away. I also had to wait nearly 30 minutes for them to arrange transportation. The combination of this poor service, caused me to be late to the event and created a problem with security clearance that severely delayed my entrance. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable service form this hotel.
Nice neighborhood
Far from attractions but that was my choice. Quiet area, easy taxi access... breakfast not that great but overall a nice hotel.
Business trip to Rome, friendly welcome by English speaking receptionist. Large rooms with balcony, lovely neighbourhood, standard Italian breakfast, free wi-fi. Would recommend for anyone who doesn't need to be in the very centre of Rome.
Disappointed in Hotel Degli Aranci, but loved Rome
Customer service was poor. Front desk associates were rude and not very helpful. The hotel has amenities on site, but I preferred to spend my money elsewhere. I formed hotel staff about discrepancies regarding prices printed on the Hotel.com website and those printed at the hotel, resulting in more expense to the customer; staff appeared unconcerned.
We stayed at the hotel more than 15 days. Since the ladt 8 years we always booked there as the neighborhood is one of the best in Rome. Good restaurants, and of easy access.
Excellent Stay.
To far and rubbish service
Hotel over booked which means I had to stay at different hotel. They were suppose to bring my luggage which didn't turn up on time. Location wise you need taxi to get to anywhere. Overall nice hotel but location and service is rubbish. I will not stay there again.
Beautiful hotel not too far from the city
Upon arrival, the hotel was absolutely stunning from the outside and in. The hotel staff were amazing to us and it was comforting. The breakfast provided was good but the real disappointment was with the hotel food. We went to the restaurant for lunch and ordered the past. It was very plain and was undercooked. Some of it was still raw.. Overpriced for what it was too. Would recommend just eating out. Apart from that, it was such an enjoyable stay nevertheless. Would definitely recommend to anyone who asked.
Can't go wrong
Lovely hotel
Unexpected change spoils visit.
The visit experiance at this Hotel was twofold: On arriving, the receptionist, told me I was to be transfered to the Hotel Villa Glori. I was not given a full explanation why and a shrug of the shoulders and a soft drink in the bar were my first impression of the Hotel. After waiting 45 minutes I was transferrred to the Hotel Villa Glori for the night. I told the receptionist, I had been travelling from 05:00 that morning and now at 19:25, I was tired and hungry and this was not what I was expecting. A further shrug of the shouders and "these things happen" was scant consolation for a full explanation. On arriving at the Villa Glori, the receptionist seemed perplexed to why I had been transferred, provided me with a family room (1x Double, 1 Single) and then informed me they had no Restaurant or Gym, two main items I had wanted in a Hotel. The Hotel Villa Glori, was OK, but not what I booked and not with the expected facilities. I had to wait until 14:00 the next day to book into the Hotel Degli Aranci and obviosly did not unpack at the Hotel Villa Glori. I ended up booking out of the Hotel Villa Glori (by 11:00 26/02/16 as told) and leaving my luggage there whilst I attemped to get my trip started.
Stayed here only for one night, to help transition being in a foreign country. All the staff were really friendly especially the ladies working the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was the best, better than a restaurant! Would stay here again!
disappointing stay
We booked 4 nights at this hotel. When we arrived my wife and I were given a wheelchair accessible room which was not located in the main hotel building but on the side and it required us to walk outside the hotel first. Not a very big deal even thought I had requested a traditional room and not an accessible one. Unfortunately the bathroom had a shower plate with not curtains which caused all the water to flood the floor. The wet floor was extremely dangerous and slippery. Since my wife was pregnant I did not want to take any risk and asked for a traditional room with regular shower. The staff accommodated our request and the day after they put us in a different room located in the main hotel building. Everything was fine until we realized that the bathroom smelled like sewage. The smell came from the sink and shower drain holes. The staff was clearly aware of the problem because the cleaning staff always closed the drain hole cap after their service. The smell was very disgusting and made the experience at this hotel very unpleasant. We decided not to make a big deal and just stick with it. If this was an average hotel I would have not wasted my time writing this review. However, considering the reputation and the history of this business I thought that they needed to know that they must make some improvement.
Lush hotel on the city edge
The hotel is lovely, with lovely helpful staff who advise you on travelling around the city. The breakfast buffet was lovely. However, the bed was meant to be queen sized and it was two pushed together which rolled apart due to a wood floor. The air con was not clear on how to use at all. The staff are friendly and hotel overall was 3.8/5
Very home-like hotel and good service
You feel like at home when being in the hotel. The stuff is very helpful and trying to meet all your requirements and expectations. In quiet and beautiful are close to the gardens. The breakfast was good and the waiters are very welcoming . Coming back for sure.
Nice location
Everything was good except our underground room. It was hot and the electric blinds had to stayed closed because people could see us in the room. Breakfast patio was closed :(
Wonderful place!
Staying at Degli Aranci is like being at home. Everything is wonderful from the room to the restaurant and the people are amazing, courteous and very helpful. This was our second time there and we hope to go back again in the future. Thank you Hotel Degli Aranci!
Hotel comfortable
The hotel was exactly what we expected - good service and comfortable. It is quite a long journey into the centre of Rome (30 mins) but that is what we wanted.
Hotel in the Parioli District
If you do not book a suite or at least a double room you most likely will end up in a 9x6 feet bedroom in the basement, which happened to me. After complaining I got a double room close to the public restrooms of the hotel on the ground floor. Doors slamming all, while guests of the hotel restaurant and bar use the restrooms. Complaining again I finally was put on the 4th floor. The staff really reacted to my complaints, but I felt like they also tried to see how far they can go with an Expedia client. After having been moved to the fourth floor, the reception staff was cold as can be, besides one staff member who was really great and always friendly. I stayed two weeks at the hotel and never felt really welcomed when I got back to the hotel at the end of the day. In general if you stay for 2-3 days, this is ok, but if you stay for two weeks, you would expect a little more warmth.
Bad
i stayed two nights in a side room on the ground floor. The curtain very thin every one can see us. Room phone not working, day service ok but night reception bad service. I asked borrow water pot n sleeper coz no free water. The man said this not 5 star hotel nothing provide. And location not good as well. I never stay again.
Nice old building
We speak very little Italian so may appear rude to the staff. The daytime staff were excellent very friendly and we're comfortable using their best English. Our room was in the basement beside noisy hotel plant and curtains were see through with a path just outside the window. Beautiful lounge and bar area. Very functional restaurant with an average buffet. A 5 to 10 minute walk to the train at the local station with direct access to the metro. Overall an interesting stay.
An Oasis away from the city center
What I loved about this hotel is what most people will consider a flaw. Its location! It is true, it is not in the city center but it is located in one of the nicest residential areas of Rome and only a few minutes by taxi from many of the attractions. Since we only had two days we decided not to experiment with public transportation (which is available not too far away) and the taxi rides were only about ten Euros. Worth every penny (plus it was raining) The hotel is charming. Nice and clean rooms. The staff very nice and friendly. The breakfast is ok. Great value for the rate. Much lower than staying in the center, even after including the taxi cost.
Great hotel - hidden gem for value!
We had a great time staying at Hotel Degli Aranci - the staff at the front desk smoothly checked us in and also provided ample advice when we asked for directions to not so straightforward sites. The room itself was well kept, clean, sparkling, and maintains an air of professionalism. One big bonus is the breakfast buffet which we took advantage of every morning. Privacy maintained while in our rooms, we had the windows open and the electronic shutters 90% down to get some cool air ventilation. I would strongly recommend this hotel to people who are not interested in staying in a central location but in a quiet neighbourhood which is accessible to mass transit.
Enjoyed our stay
We stayed two nights and found the hotel very comfortable, clean and modern. The reception staff were really helpful. It was a short walk to a bus stop, from which it took around 15 minutes to ride to central Rome. There were nice restaurants within walking distance (staff provided directions)however they were very busy so make reservations ahead! It was nice to have the gym and Jacuzzi available. Wifi worked well. As a young couple travelling around Europe, budget was important. We just needed a clean & comfortable place to sleep not too far away from the sights and this exceeded our expectations. This was our favourite hotel in terms of value for money during our trip.
Very nice hotel
Lovely hotel, great staff and breakfast is very yummy. But of a walk to see the sights and get into the city centre to have dinner etc but you can catch buses from pretty close
For those who seek a romantic Roman experience.
Our experience with the hotel exceeded our expectations. Travellers to Rome, seeking an "authentic feel" should book with this hotel. Beautifully furnished and smaller in size, it was ideal for my first romantic weekend away with my partner. Continental breakfast selection is excellent, with a number of pastries, yoghurts and fruits provided. A small hot breakfast selection is also offered. The hotel is somewhat outside of the tourist area in a lovely area, however bus stops as well as tram stops are a very short walk away and will take you to where you need to go. (The hotel staff are able to provide guidance here, as they did for us). A good selection of restaurants and cafes as well as a bank are also only a short walk away (5 min or so). The hotel staff are wonderfully helpful, from the chambermaids to the front desk. Each individual went out of their way to assist with advice and special requests. We will return.
close to every city center , nice area ,good staff, good food
Nice hotel location.
First day check in, the room had shower drain issue. We reported the concern we had. Next day another room was made available. Great breakfast buffet.
Happy
I found the hotel to be a bit of walk to transit so it is a little far from everything. The hotel was very nice though. Clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful. The is no shower curtain or door was water goes everywhere when you shower but it is nice and hot and water pressure is great. The breakfast was delicious and included hot eggs and bacon and lots of pastries and fresh fruit available too. Overall I would opt to stay in a more centrally located hotel but I would not be unhappy to have to stay at this hotel again.
Staff very nonchalant. Overpriced food, poor service.
Great place going back when in rome
Excellent hotel and service, friendly, clean and accessible.
Daniel
It was so great to stay in this hotel, thanks
Good but could get better...
The hotel was very nice... a bit far away from the city center but there is a bus that takes u there directly. The breakfast was excellent. The stuff, sometimes weren't able to help with how to get to places but they were trying though. In general it was a good choice.
Nice Hotel, but a bit over-rated.
The good: Service was good and prompt. Room was clean. It was in a nice neighborhood. The bad: Hotel is dated. We were assigned to a small room. With 3 people and 3 suitcases, there was barely enough room to walk. The wall was paper thin. I could hear two horn dogs next door going at it at 2am in the morning each night I was there. The elevator was so small that my kid was stuck in there for a few minutes.
Stay in hotel excellent.
Was disappointed with the first night as I was in a ground floor room in the annexe. This was cold and noisy. However after requesting another room - this room was excellent. Breakfast room was pleasant with good service. My stay in the hotel was excellent generally.
Neat but small rooms, quiet with epileptic interne
Breakfast was good although became monotonous after a few days, rooms were utterly small, used same room meant for single bed as triple rooms. That for me was dishonest.
Feedback
The third bed is not a bed For a guest that stayed for 7 days, being refused 4 hours of extra stay was disappointing No Room phone directory, especially since they differ from floor to floor Record of me is without my last name, so check in was difficult, same reason why I am submitting as anonymous The Restaurant young Lady at Breakfast, was a wonderful hostess The bathroom is lovely and spacious
Great room, OK location (Single Room)
I got a single room for a solo trip to Rome. The room was MASSIVE -- definitely enough space for 2 people, so it was lovely for me to stay there by myself. The staff were great and friendly. The location was OK, but it was pretty easy to get to the center of the city from nearby bus and train stations. The only annoying issue I had was that, for some reason, they didn't stock the normal assortment of toiletries in the bathroom -- they didn't have lotion and hand soap, for example. Other than that, my stay was great.
Great Stay in Rome!
Hotel was great value for money! Water for tea coffee in morning could be a little warmer and breakfSt selection although adequate could be improved! Room was comfortable and hotel although ten mins out of centre of Rome was in a nice location. We would definitely stay again.
beautiful hotel clean rooms with high class décor,
stayed for 3 nights I wish it could have been a lot longer, I would certainly stay there again.
Ok stay
The hotel was nice, clean and tidy. However, I had arranged for the hotel limousine service to pick myself up from the airport and they made a mistake so I had to get a taxi instead which wasn't great. The wifi is a nightmare, didn't work on the first night at all and then you need to enter a username and password every 5 minutes. Our room was right beside the public toilets so was really noisy
Nice hotel easy to get to
Nice clean hotel with very friendly staff.the room we stayed in was a bit dated and in need of decorating.bed was big but then found it was 2 singles pushed together so you get that ridge in middle. breakfast could be better overall it was a pleasent stay no major issues
Quality hotel with easy access to city centre
In a quiet neighbourhood;nice cafés and pizzeria nearby ;bus 217 to termini every 15 minutes ; friendly staff ; excellent breakfast ; good internet speed ;
Rome atp masters
Came to Rome to watch tennis at foro Italico . Hotel was 10 mins from stadium , in a nice leafy suburb if Rome , outside the city. Very quiet , small boutique hotel . Lovely town 3 mins walk from hotel with nice shops and restaurants . 10 minutes taxi to centre of Rome tourist attractions . Very nice place to stay
Highly recommended
This is a wonderful hotel, very nice, very neat, very much so worth the money. Out of the 3 hotels I stayed in while in Italy, this was the best and it certainly wasn't the most expensive.
The hotel worked fine for us. Breakfast was ok but the service and friendliness of staff was very good and very helpful. Too far out of centre for us although a very lovely neighbourhood.
Clean Hotel in a Quiet Location
Hotel not conveniently located to city center but in a safe/nice area. Staff was great, and the hotel overall was very nice.
Review
Very friendly Staff, quiet and beautiful location Double room OK - but very tiny Jet Bath not included in standard rooms overall satisfied
Excellent hotel in lovely area
Great hotel with very good services. Really couldn't fault it - except for being a little noisy at night (maybe because of room being next to the lift / stairs).
Off centre but excellent
Bright, clean hotel. Great breakfast. Affluent neighbourhood on top of the hill over Villa Borghese.
Excellent
Hotel is excellent with Roma style.Receiption response is good.Rooms are excellent with peaceful. We had nice breakfast.little bit inside from Terminus station.overall good
Good Comfortable Room
The hotel had good comfortable room and the staff provided all the information about the hotel and Rome while checking in. The provided us good inputs. The breakfast was decent. The hotel's restaurant had very limited choice to offer for dinner and the hotel is difficult to locate.
It was a bit away from main center but worth it
The hotel was well kept and staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was a tad hot since it was on the top floor and the ac wasnt very effective. But their were plenty of points to offset it. Very good breakfast and close to villa bourghese and villa gloria( staff recommendation). This was important to me since i enjoy running in the morning. Would definitely recommend it to others
A little gem
We arrived at the hotel to find a beautiful pristinely clean bedroom / suite with a lovely terrace. Breakfast was lovely, the hotel is set in a a quiet residential neighborhood, with a metro station 10 minutes walk away, transport links are reliable, it takes around 5 minutes on the under ground to Flamino station which overlooks the Pl Poppolo. The only thing of note would be that trains only run every half an hour into central Rome but once there the Metro is fast, trains running every three to four minutes and cheap. That shouldn't really put anybody off using this hotel which was an absolute bargain, the quality of its rooms is not really reflected in the price.
good service and breakfast was exceptional
This was a good hotel and we were pleased with all aspects of service during our stay. Only one point of note the staff level seemed to be the bare minimum for the day to day running of the hotel.
Happy hotel holidayers;-)
Very happy with accommodation and friendly service on arrival:-) would definitely recommend to others.

A very cute boutique hotel….. paper thin walls was the only downside.
