Staff behaviour is very good and the properly is very well maintained a d secure

A little noisy since it looks like there's a school nearby and the kids noise woke us up in the morning. Also did not help that the staff was knocking on everyone's door offering laundry service in the morning and was heard almost on the whole floor before they even got knock on our door.

This time was second time, my name wasn’t in the system.

First night was almost impossible to sleep as there were parties, but the next day they change our room and it was completely different. No noise at all. Very comfortable, except for the showers - the water is not contained and goes all over the bathroom. Besides these 2 issues, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff is amazing, very nice!

They need to train the front deck staff. They do not know what is going on in the hotel.

Great spot if you are flying in or out of YVR.

Great place to stay

Love the breakfast and the staff. Stayed about 10 nights and there were a number of loud parties. Although another room was offered I didn’t want to move. The shower leaked a lot of water across bathroom with each use even after staff came to fix it.

Staff is friendly and there is a security guy in front of the hotel. This is the 2nd time I’m staying at this hotel at the same week, first time there was an issue with the hot tub (jacuzzi). A third party manages the pool and gym area and drained the hot tub at 7:45pm. The receptionist said the area would close at 8pm (even though during check in they said it is open until 10pm). This second time, I was given a room key and when I opened the door and walked in the room, there was someone’s else belongs. Very unsafe and made me worried about my belongs while I’m not in the room. I went back to the front desk, they weren’t concerned and stated it never happens. They upgrade my room but not sure if I want to stay in this hotel in the future.

Very dated hotel with uncomfortable accommodations - not to mention dangerous bathroom situation for anyone that has Accesibility needs. Whats with just providing one roll of toilet paper? Also super noisy - there was hammering in the middle of the night which was reported to front desk who said “theyd look into it” Lastly, can we talk about the scammy breakfast buffet? I was hopeful it would get better but each day got worse. The staff was zero attentive and borderline rude - I asked for a tea and it was like asking for a favor. Skip the Opera restaurant… worst meal of our stay - and the waitor forgot part of our order! Super incompetent staff To top it off… as we were leaving w our suitcases… the elevators (two of them) stopped working. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!

i had to change room 3 times in one night because of the noise. staff was very friendly. however, i woke up several times in the last room… i was exhausted so gave up and didnt change rooms again as I figured noise was unaboidable

Great location, great service. Best option in Quito. It is small compared to your big chain hotels on a side street so there is little to no street noise unlike big hotels on main roads

The room was very comfortable and well laid out. From my room through the hall to the lobby and dining places within, the hotel is classy and impeccable. The breakfast area is excellent and the options offered are great. I really have nothing critical to say of this hotel or my stay.

This is an excellent hotel in Quito's business district. Albeit just down the road from the Sheraton, this is a better hotel. Its staff are helpful and friendly and not overbearing. Moreover, it's a good deal cheaper with better rooms and no inflexibility.

Great place to stay in Quito

Great place to stay, fairly quiet area but with lots of restaurants/cafes in the area you can walk to, as well as the park. All of the staff were always super helpful and the breakfast buffet is really good. My only suggestion to the hotel is adding some hooks to bathrooms so you can hang your towels and placing the toilet paper in a reachable location or using stands. These are mi or things though and I highly recommend the hotel.

Room very comfortable (standard double). Staff friendly. Seating areas around hotel comfortable. Several places to eat in hotel and around the hotel. I had a good meal in the Opera in restaurant. Plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast. Has a swimming pool and gym. In a great location for Carolina park and shopping mall. Things were not always replenished in the room(coffee, face cloth).

I was very happy with my 5 day stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. It would've been perfect if they had orange juice. I liked my suite and the bed and pillows were great. I wish the shower/tub were a little bigger though. I had a great birthday dinner experience at the Opera Restaurant. Joel was an amazing server. One little thing was that I wanted to use the pool but unfortunately it was undergoing maintenance. I'll definitely be back though.

We stayed 2 nights before our Galapagos cruise and 1night after that. At the first stay, we received a special service and staff were. Very helpful and nice. The rooms were good and the breakfast was wonderful. But we were not so happy that the trash bin in the bathroom doesn’t have a lid… (we must trash toilet paper into the bin, not flush the paper into the toilet) and also there are no towel hangers for shower.. So hope it can be improved in the future! Thank you for your hospitality!

This property had very friendly staff, free breakfast, which was amazing, and a spa pool and gym. My main issues were that the room key kept resetting and I had to go have reception fix it and the safe would not open with my things inside. However, the staff was super helpful and attentive to my needs, and I’d probably stay there again! Loved my massage and facial- Marcia was amazing.

Property is located in what seems to be a safe area. The staff is great - they let us check in earlier which was a plus for us after our long travel day. Our room was fine with no issues. I highly recommend this brand as they never disappoint

Very disappointed

I'm sorry to give this hotel such a bad review but my family and I are pretty upset. We stayed in this hotel with the idea of kind of "Staycation" as we live here in Quito and we just wanted to experience the great hotel. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed. We brought our kids for the experience of the hotel. They wanted to work out in the gym. Unfortunately, they weren't allowed. They wanted to swim in the pool. They were told they had to buy swimming caps. Neither of things were listed on the website as requirements. My daughter and my wife wanted to have the great experience of having tea in the tea room. She asked customer service if she needed to reserve a time for the tea room. She was told that she didn't need. Unfortunately, when they went to have their tea party, the same people said that they couldn't because another group had made a reservation and that there wasn't any other time available before they needed to leave. How disappointed was my daughter by this treatment! We left very discouraged and disappointed after being treated like this with such a nice hotel.

Well organized and maintained place.

We had a problem with our flight. It was rescheduled twice. Hotel switched our stay the first time but did not help us in any way possible when we couldn't fly to arrive there. Very disappointed as it was a pricey room and We really were looking forward to it. I would have appreciated at all at least a discount or credit for when we did arrive tomorrow unless the airline changes our flight.

Hotel is fine, Sadly We were given a room next to where a bathroom was being replaced. Banging, drilling etc. There were workmen in that room until 1am. We had travelled across the world, we were exhausted and this spoilt the experience. We were not told when I first rang reception at lunchtime that the noise would continue all day and night and whilst we were offered a new room in the evening we had a 4 am start the next day we were just going to bed. No 5* hotel should have given us this room for the price we paid. Very poor indeed. I would like the hotel to follow up with me please.

Very nice stay for 2 nights. Good location, could walk to restaurants. $5 taxi ride to city center. Very clean hotel, excellent service, nice pool/gym (swim cap required). Wonderful buffet breakfast with tons of options.

Wonderful hotel with excellent staff. Breakfast had a nice variety and even when the hotel was full and breakfast busy, the team replenished the food and cleared tables as quickly as possible. Our room was lovely and I really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Restaurants, coffee shop and bar are also great. We are very happy that we chose this hotel and would stay here again. Thank you.

The hotel food was excellent! The staff was also delightful. However, the room was a bit dated. My shower did not work correctly, and in the morning I did not get constant hot water. Room service missed a day as well. I believe because I was checking out the next day they did not bother to come. Otherwise, I would still stay here again.

Ozone makes you feel sick

They were applying ozone in the hall, the smell was terrible and make you feel sick, thanks good they apply the ozone only 2 days of the 5 days I stayed there.... the bathroom stink so you need to keep the door close. On the other hand service was very good employes were polite and nice.

Wonderful place, staff, gym and very convenience location

The food at the restaurants is amazing. But the staff at the Front Desk needs to be aware of the perks for Expedia Gold members. Also i were lied to several times when offered a laundry service and fail to get in time to a business meeting because my clothes were not ready many hours later even when i was only ironing. They should even charge me for that. I decline the room upgrade because it was offered next day after check-in, I assumed only after receiving my check-in survey. But changing rooms after unpacking is very uncomfortable .

Nice Stay at HDCQ

We stayed a total of three nights at HDCQ. The breakfast was free and plentiful/delicious, and our room was just fine overall, with an ample safe for storing items.

We loved its location to the park and then all of the attention to detail

The suite doors don’t have a mechanism to slow them down, so all the time you hear the doors getting slam. Very noisy and uncomfortable. They need to upgrade the door asap. Also, car and businesses alarms going on late in the morning, very annoying. If you are a lite sleeper, find another property.

Excellent service, good breakfast and its located right in the central with a lot of good and varieties restaurants right there. Will stay again if we have chance to come back Quito.
