Really Nice hotel, with nice pool on 4 floor, room and bathroom lovely, staff really helpful, breakfast provides usual Colombian offering, generally good, but gets very busy for breakfast.

Amazing staff! everyone was so kind and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay there because of how friendly the staff was. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great! I definitely recommend this hotel!

When I arrived they couln't find my reservation. Even after I showed them the email confirmation. They said the confirmation number was wrong.

Even though I was in the 10th floor, street noise of cars and people on the street were still heard some how. Room service food quality has gone down!

Area seems safe with many eateries located within walking distance. Staff seemed cold and inattentive and seemed to concentrate on airline and American patrons. Although I too am an American.

The property is very well located, close to restaurants and shops. The staff was very professional and courteous. What I didn't like was that my room had that very old hotel room smell, which was understandable, its an older property. Also, the mini fridge had just 2 small bottles of water, which to my surprise were NOT complementary. I figured if there were more merchandise then the assumption is that the items are for sale, but just 2 small bottles, and nothing else.. complimentary, right? They charged me 16,000 COP for them. Anyhow, next time will try another hotel.

Pretty good service Room service was better than eating at the restaurant 2 hours wait to get our food on the first night horrible The head bartender bartender was amazing the other ones where a bit lazy and rude my opinion they served a cocktail without alcohol I literally saw him make the drinks The tv service sucks every time we turn off the room electricity the cable would disconnect had the guys come fix it multiple time Front desk super professional and kind everything else was just perfect This was our experience Ou the ax was leaking water we almost had to change rooms

After making reservation we went to hotel and and it took 15/20 mins just to do check in. At midnight while we were in bed sleeping someone opened our room door. Luckily i had secured door with secondary lock. 5 minutes later later reception started speaking through the phone by speaker without making a phone call first. Makes me think if they listen in on hotel guest rooms. Then after hearing him talk on speaker he started started asking me questions if we were giving the right room. This is all happening after midnight. Long story short, our experience was a 5 out of 10. Hopefully you make check in more quicker and reception should be more organized on what rooms are reserved and which are not so they don't have to wake up guests at midnight.

Excelente experiencia, muy buena ubicación. En un área segura , caminando llegas a ver mucho de la ciudad. Llegas a museos, lugares con artesanías y fabulosos restaurantes. El Staff del hotel muy respetuosos y serviciales. Los desayunos fueron un éxito!!

I really love everything this hotel is wonderful the location< the service the food i loved my room they are very well organized the hotel always smell good. I like that they have taxis that work for the hotel. the people that wirs there are so friendly. Specially "Freddy" he is the best always happy and taking care of everything even my daugther mention how nice he was. I am planning to go back to this hotel. We loved it, Elizabeth Palomino

The hotel was in poor condition very run down and not very clean at all, Internet was very very poor .you would have to be in the lobby to get any signal whatsoever. Very poor service overall.

Beautiful hotel, reasonably priced, with wonderful service! We loved the breakfast buffet. In our experience, the Dann Carlton is the best hotel in Cali!

I loved the breakfast and the location. The hotel is very close to all the nice areas and taxis are always available and very safe.

The pool is way too small, and closes too early. Also, the person at the front desk tried to change my room from Dann Carleton to Cali Dann, which is cheaper than Dann Carlton; my reservation was for Dann Carlton. Of course, when I brought this to his attention, no apologies. I will switch basck to AB&B. The major hotel chains need to learn from AB&B - treat your customers with respect and do not try to ripp them off!!

Took approximately 45 minutes to wait in line to check in. When I got to my room I thought it was pretty nice. When I went into the bathroom, 2 of the towels were dirty. I had to dispose of those. The very next night, there was a HUGE roach in the room. I do not suggest you stay here. Book elsewhere.

All was good only we were in 14 floor and 15 floor had a party and we can not sleep all night

Not a good choice

The common spaces were worn and dirty; the gym was a windowless room with a few old machines; the hall carpet was old and dirty. The cleaning staff did a good job in the room and was pleasant.

Well located, good places to eat nearby... Room was always neat but didn't have any courtesies (water or coffee)

The excellent Hotel Dann Carlton Cali

This hotel was immaculately clean, as was the large and comfortable room. A SUPER nice, professional English speaking staff. And the food was great as well. Also has a Tony Romas !! Everything was perfect !! I will definitely be returning. I had a amazing time. A big thank you to all at the Dann Carlton Cali.

They did not get my dry cleaning bags in the on time Ran out of hot water one day for a shower doing construction next door to my room making Loud noises and has not emailed an apology back yet

Ok stay needs improvement

Hotel was ok, the staff in the morning were very wonderful. Specially the doorman Sabastian. The staff in the evening, night were not as great. Bed is comfy, room was clean. Bathroom can be a little better. The restaurant right next to the pool is tacky. Need to rearrange that because you can fall into the pool trying to walk around the tables.

Super comfortable and nice location

Our stay was just wonderful! Excellent staff and great manners to clients! Wish room was a little cooler than 21c but other than that could not ask for anything else. The concierge Javier excellence all the way! Mr. Pino and Felipe at the Bar just great service. Just overall staff have earned our respect and appreciation. It is our home away from home!

Solid for a business stay

Hotel was solid for a business stay, good location, clean, with fast internet. Unfortunately one of the elevators is broken and got stuck in the stairway (they should make the stairs available if it takes 3 minutes to get an elevator)

CRITICS TO THE FRONT DESK !

Well , the front desk needs to be more polite and educated with the guest , special , when I arrive that afternoon , the attention to the guest needs to improve , the same when we left, the manager with glasses did have a nasty attitude toward us , when we ask questions about the taxes andso on ! The room service excellent andthe guy that did took car of the luggage to the room that afternoon , excellent person and have knowledge of how to take care of the guest , he mades for all the critics , we made to the front desk ! Nice hotel but hard beds

Checking in was a breeze and the staff were most accommodating. The food was quite good and the room was very large and appeared clean. The bed however was not the most comfortable and the towels in the bathroom were very rough on the skin as though they had been laundered once too often. The restaurant and bar opens late - we had dinner one day at 1am!! The neighbourhood has a nice mix of bars and restaurants within walking distance and fine dining options are only 10 minutes taxi ride away. Overall a solid 4 start hotel with room for improvement.

Nice hotel in good area for local access.

Service was excellent! The room and common areas were clean and well lit. Bed was of better than average hotel quality. Noise from hallway when others walked by was almost as if there were no door. Fortunately, this happened mostly at times I was not trying to sleep.

Would stay there again. Helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and good restaurant. Good location, very secure. Gym needs work but pool area and steam bath were nice.

The staff was courteous and accommodating. Very clean hotel. I didn't like the fact that the buffet tsbles are set up next to the swimming pool. When I eat, I like to have a relaxing atmosphere. I don't want to look at people swimming, playing and splashing, while I'm eating breakfast or dinner. On my last day, I found a hair on my eggs on my breakfast buffet. I called the waiter, but, he brushed it offf and said, "I'll tell the cook." No apologies! The wait staff had to be better trained, that's for sure! I didn't complain to the manager because I was checking out and was in a rush. In hindsight, I should have! Other than that, it was a nice stay.
