Absolutely love this hotel. Would stay there time and time again for sure. They held our bags for us before and after check in bc of early and late flights. The main market is right outside it’s doors too and it’s within walking distance to everything you want to see in Cusco.

I like the location of the hotel very close to San Pedro Market. I didn’t like the small size of the single room as well as the very spotty wifi, which turns on and off at will.

Great gem in the heart of Cusco!

This hotel is great! It is located near the open market in Cusco and is great for pedestrian exploring. The service was great and it was the most comfortable room we stayed in for our entire two-week honeymoon. The jacuzzi was a lifesaver after hiking Machu Picchu. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cusco.

Neat and Tidy

Nice hotel. Room was clean. Staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. The room was always damp however as I dont think there was very good ventilation. Towels could never dry. Breakfast is great. Overall though, it was a good stay.

Rooms are a little small but the hotel is located in a good location. Difficult to communicate as most of the staff only spoke Spanish.

Great location, beautiful interior, but the rooms are tiny and the double bed is very, very small! We had a second stay booked, after our return from Machu Picchu, and asked for a room with two beds so we could actually sleep. There was no hot water the morning we were catching the train to Machu Picchu. The breakfast buffet is barely adequate.

Good hotel for price

Highly recommend if you are looking for reasonable priced hotel in good location. The hotel was clean, shower pressure was amazing, and staff was friendly. Breakfast included is a great perk, and the wifi was great.

Great stay

Overall great experience - the location is less than a 10 min walk from Plaza de Armas, and right around the corner from the San Pedro Market. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and we were very pleased with our experience. A few ways they went above & beyond- they held our luggage for us when we took a 3 day excursion, arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport, and packed to-go breakfast on the days where we left early in AM for excursions. Only caveats - the restaurant in the hotel is very sub-par and overpriced, and the lobby travel agency is a bit overpriced & unorganized as well.

Please book at this hotel, best location ever and affortable! The staff were so nice to me and my sister and they even laughed at my dumb jokes. loved how safe I felt it was just my sister and me. It's in walking distance from several Cusco touristic areas, you don't even need a taxi at all, a block away is the San Pedro Market, in the same street 5 blocks down is the Plaza de Armas, cathedral, museums, tour agencies and at the end of the block there's a grocery store if you want to buy snacks to take back home. They also have a tour agent at the hotel, if you want to book tours with them. If you need a taxi, they'll call and reserve for you and if you need to print they'll print for you. Also it's not a fancy hotel but its well kept and clean and they'll give you breakfast. Cons: Theres not alot of breakfast options in the buffet, it's a bit noisey because win

Everyone at the Hotel Cusco Jungle was so helpful and friendly! Loved the location too!!! Easy walk to the main square and 1 block to San Pedro market. Great room. We got the 2 single beds in the back of the hotel where it was nice and quiet until some people checked in above us the next day. You can hear all their movements which was annoying at 2am or 5am for that matter

Amazing! It was walking distance to the San Pedro market and we are almost daily fresh food! It was amazing and cheap too! Better than what I was expecting! The room was great and it had a nice tub definitely recommend! Plus staff was super helpful

Nice big hotel very close to the plaza

The hotel was really good. Breakfast is amazing and the staff is very nice. They didn't mind keeping our luggage while we explored Cusco on our last day. The rooms are very small. We took their matrimonial room and it was very very small but we didn't mind considering the price.

Location is good

Location was great for our stay in Cusco, just couldn't believe how small the rooms were. The pictures on line are not an accurate reflection of the actual room size - we had a double room and it was very tight, especially once you get your luggage in. Breakfast at the restaurant was good, hotel staff were friendly. Booked out trip to Rainbow mountain through the tour operator located at the hotel and it was acceptable.

Lovely Hotel Cusco Jungle - change your name!!

My son and I loved Cusco Jungle. It had a lovely center garden and the location was perfect. There was the Inti Raymi festival going on in Cusco and this was the only hotel we could get for the night. And to be honest, most of the staff were involved with the festival. So maybe service was slightly lacking. But we really lucked out. For the price, it was perfect.

Helpful staff

We stayed 1 night and returned for a second night after a 3 day tour, they were able to accommodate us even though we arrived at 5am, Jorge didn't just let us site in the lobby he was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was very well varied and stocked. They arranged transportation. Good location, close to main plaza and next to supermarket

cold receptionist

i love the mini garden. the location is great, too. the hotel restaurant took forever to serve the food. the lady in the restaurant had to explain to the reception why i could not check out on time. the lady at the reception was worse than cold. receptionists should be trained to be warm to hotel guests.

Central Cusco

This hotel met my criteria between quality and price. Room was well furnished and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel/area was a little noisy during the night, (although I have found this to be the case with all 3 of my hotels in Peru) Would recommend this hotel for its price range.

The bed was hard and you can hear everything in the morning because the floors are all wood.

Perfect spot to Stay in Cusco

Hotel Cusco Jungle is a great place to stay in Cusco. Centrally located, all of the "main" plazas, squares and markets are about a 5-10 minute walk or less. The hotel is located in a quiet part of town though and street noise is absolutely not a problem. The double rooms are quiet small but the king size room is essentially a standard American hotel room. All rooms have great water pressure, hot water, flatscreen tv and the free breakfast is quite good. The only con I can think of is the train noise in the early morning since you are close to the tracks. However, I have a feeling that most hotels in the area have this same noise.

One Big Mess of a Stay

This was a very disappointing stay. So many things went wrong. The staff didn't speak English at all, so we were never fully sure of what was happening. The room was freezing and there was hair on the extra blankets supplied. We ha to let the hot water tap run for five minutes before the hot water would arrive. Despite the Do Not Disturb sign on our door, the maid still entered to clean the room. Having been to Cusco a couple other times, there are better options out there.

Centrally Located, Nice rooms.

We enjoyed staying at Jungle. The room was small, but perfect. The shower was nice and big, and always had hot water. The breakfast was really delicious and lovely too. The one drawback was that there was a big party in the courtyard on Christmas eve. We did express our displeasure to the manager, and he did refund us part of the night. I would just say be careful if you want to book this place for Christmas eve. Otherwise, the staff were super friendly and accommodating, the hotel is quiet and peaceful, and the courtyard is gorgeous. It is also close to the main open air market and supermarket, so if you ever want to skip the restaurants and find some food, it's very easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Cusco Jungle

The hotel was ok. One of the best things is the location, is near the Plaza de Armas were you can pic your tours. They have also a travel agency in wich we book all our tours. Was very nice, the only problem is that just one girl on the staf now well how to proceed with the booking. The breaskfast was ok too, and it is included in your stay. The rooms are small, the had the necesary for the stay. We only had one problem with the room, that the heather burn do to high voltage problems the hotel have, but they solve the problem inmidiatly bringing us another heather. The personal was very nice always. If I have go to Cusco again, I will stay in Cusco Jungle

Nice place right at Mercado San Pedro. I had a single room, which was tiny, but nice and I got it for a great price. I has a bigger hotel feel and the service was great - they arranged cabs and other things for me. This was also the first place in Peru with good shower pressure. The location is a bit on the edge of the very center of Cuzco, but it still only takes 15mins of walking to anywhere.

Sleepless in the Jungle

Initially, we thought the hotel was in the perfect location, however, we quickly realized it was on a busy and loud street. We had rooms with windows facing the street and heard people yelling and cars all night long! We asked to switch rooms to the back of the hotel, but the receptionist said she was not very helpful. The lobby had a wood fireplace that didn't provide proper ventilation and permeated irritating fumes to the upper levels. The staff at night was not very polite or helpful. Although the price was cheap, if we'd known these conditions before booking we would have gladly paid more for a better hotel.

Good staff! Good hotel! Not good at night

The hotel is very good. Staff great. The suite is very good, with jacuzzi and spacious. Our expectative was that. I ll return. Only two problems: 1-NO INTERNET WIFI at the hotel two days ( or more , id ont know because leave ) 2-The description about the distance is not OK, is more than 400 mts PLAZA DE ARMAS. I supose is more than 800 mts., and at night is not good to walk. Recomendable but with that points to check.

El personal es muy amable, tiene buena ubicación !!

Me gusto mucho el hotel, muy bonito y agradable, su personal fue muy atento; unicamente tuvimos inconveniente con la television de la habitacion, (no funcionaba el cable), pero nos cambiaron de habitacion y todo fue excelente despues de esto.

Buen tamaño de desayunador. Bonitos patios internos. Limpieza diaria, desayuno de acuerdo al promedio de cusco. Lo único que no me gustó fue la habitación, muy pequeña, sin ventana por lo cuál no tenía ventilación.

Salvou nossa estadia em Cusco

Havíamos cancelado o hotel anterior pois foi uma grande decepção e o Hotel Jungle Cusco salvou nossa estadia em Cusco. Funcionários extremamente simpáticos, limpeza impecável e áreas comuns lindas. Único ponto negativo é que a porta principal fecha depois das 22h e é preciso ficar tocando a campainha até que o porteiro acorde e venha te atender.

Excepcional.

Hotel com menos estrelas do que merece. Muito bom, com excelente quarto, banheiro bem planejado, bom café da manhã, bem localizado, próximo a praça das Armas, principal ponto de Cusco. Ao lado da estação San Pedro, de onte partem os trens pra Machu Picchu, ao lado do Mercado San Pedro. Nota 100.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié qu’il soit à proximité de la Plaza de Armas et du Supermercado, celui-ci est à peine à 5 min. de marche. Cet hôtel est un vrai havre de paix! Très sécuritaire et tranquille. Seul inconvénient: pas de fauteuil dans les chambres!

Excelente custo-benefício

O custo-benefício do hotel é excelente. Os atendentes foram extremamente gentis, ajudaram a carregar malas, preparam chá de coca devido à altitude, sempre muito solicitos. Além disso, o café da manhã, mesmo sendo simples, foi muito satisfatório. Outro ponto é a excelente localização, no meio do centro histórico.

Schönes Hotel am Rand der Altstadt neben der Kirche San Pedro. Zwar enges Grundstück aber mit liebevollen Garten und schön eingerichteten Zimmern. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Personal mehrsprachig und aufmerksam. Kreditkartenzahlung problemlos.

Foi necessário mudar de quarto porque nos colocaram em um quarto com três camas, sendo que solicitamos apenas duas. Foi um inconvincente, pois nos avisaram quase meia-noite e tínhamos um passeio às 6h.

Um hotel correto pela sua faixa de preço. Bem localizado. Quartos poderiam ser maiores e café da manhã poderia ser mais bem servido. Equipe muito atenciosa.
