It was our first time in Paris, so we searched on Google for a hotel we could count on for neatness and safety. Most of the reviews on three earlier searches were not impressive, but the positive reviews made us go for it when we got to Hotel Courcelles Etoile. We stayed for four nights. The reception was excellent! A few minutes after our flight landed in Paris, we received an email about our arrival time and a WhatsApp message from Victor. The staff is exceptionally receptive, and the hotel is neat and clean. I will stay here again and recommend the hotel to tourists. Shout out to Victor, Abdul, and Shelyne. You are the best front desk personalities. Salute to the General Manager; you hired a great team. From Joy and spouse from Toronto, Canada.
The lady at the desk was super Service top noch
Location is amazing. Quality to price ratio hard to beat
The staff were brilliant. Extremely friendly and helped us to choose spots to go to for food and drinks on our first time to Paris. Room was very clean and spacious and was great value for money. Was a 10 min walk to the arc de triomphe, so also a good location. Can’t recommend it enough was a brilliant hotel and one I’d be happy to go back to
Conviniently located friendly staff
Friendly staff
Helpful staff and convenient location
Helpful staff. Clean room. Great location.
Great location, helpful staff, affordable price.
…
It is ok to stay, however, if you stay during hot season you should reconsider. The hotel has no air conditioner so you have to open windows, when windows opened, noise and smoke from restaurant on the street come to your room.
Customer services need to improve
The hotel answered our expectations.
This place is really nice. Nice little dining area. Staff is very professional. I felt I was at a luxury hotel!
Well situated in the 17th .Excellent amenities, staff friendly and very helpful.Rooms clean and quiet . I appreciated the fruit water and mini patesseries at reception .
Anniversary getaway
It was a beautiful location. The front desk was very helpful and polite.
Friendly staff
The staff was accommodating and made an effort in domains that weren't necessarily their job.. Friendly too. The thing I didn't really care for and would change if I could was the tub . Couldn't take a standing shower as the was no shower curtain to keep from flooding the floor and no wall mounted bracket to hold the shower head above you. Shoulda e to do yoga to bathe...
It was very hot at night and really noisy. We couldn’t sleep.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
Recommend courcelles
Nice little Hotel, in the 17th, easily accessible and comfortable. Lovely front desk welcome and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and sublimely comfy pillows, quiet in the room we had so all in all a nice stay
Romantic hotel
A good hotel with a whirlpool bath, fantastic for a romantic stay. The location was a little out of the way, not terrible. The hotel condition was good but now amazing. I would reccomend if you want a chilled out, romantic break at a relaxed pace.
Well situated. Great value.
The manager Carole was excellent.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome room, great location!
It was really nice stay
GreT location for an exhibition at Palais des Cong
Great location, clean with very friendly staff.
Hotel stay was okay
The room i had was out dated. Have stayed previously at this hotel and had a nice room
Small but good
Tiny room in the land of tiny rooms. Clean, comfortable bed, but the shower was literally 2’ x 2’—ridiculous and almost impossible to lift your arms above shoulder level no less bend to be able to wash your feet. Staff completely disengaged—not rude per se but they never looked up from their computer screen to even say bonjour or bonsoir.
Nice hotel - superb location
The hotel is in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful; the room was small but the bed was very comfortable. It would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but I would definitely stay here again.
Perfect for what I needed.
Great trip
A warm welcome every time, staff were lovely and accommodating. Room up on 5th floor was a bit chilly but they gave me an extra blanket and there are A/C facilities. Shower unit is beyond small, a struggle to get in it and effectively shower! Wet cloth used in bathroom was left on a pile of clothes of mine which was pretty annoying, but just a mistake. Area was nice, nearby bars were good, boulanger up the road was fantastic for breakfast pastries and there were great metro links. Walking distance to ADT and CE
The parking listed is false. The hotel no longer has a contract with the parking garage, and instead of 66 euro it cost 108. There was no shower, and the bathroom was leaking on the floor. The walls aren't remotely sound proof and rather noisy. Our phone rang at 4 a.m. for no reason, and no response. We were supposed to have city view but it was just an enclosed area above a window over some part of the hotel. The hotel staff was lovely, and the restaurant just outside the door was incredible. The metro was also just outside and the Arc de Triumph was easy to walk to. The hotel itself was nice, although seems a little worn and old, but overall it was fine. Definitely don't care on reasonable parking though. I would stay elsewhere in the future just for that reason. The only place available was supposed to cost much less than it did.
Internet was unreliable and air con/heat did not work. Otherwise, good location, clean.
Small & Cosy. Clean & Good Location
Small but nice hotel. Good location. Would stay there again
Excellent hotel with great staff and location
Excellent hotel with great staff and location. Really enjoyed our stay there. Beds are really comfortable. Location is great, next to RER/Metro, safe neighborhood, supermarket Monoprix across the street.
good location but very small
Good location. Very close to metro and RER station. Unfortunately work on RER C line made commuting more difficult on what is a very useful line. Lift is tiny, old and slow; need to change lift to get to the upper floors. Room is tiny and barely room to open your suitcase. Shower tiny and there isn't even a shelf to put shampoo etc and it's difficult to bend down in a tiny shower to pick up these items. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Location was great for me- close to Palais Congres
I had a single occupancy room with a double bed. The room was tiny, and so was the bathroom but I managed OK. You may feel cramped but it was nice overall, clean and no issues with sound etc. It would also be wrong of me to not commend the hotel staff. They were the nicest! Very helpful reception and I cannot thank them enough for making my stay cofmortable. All in all, the hotel served its purpose very well for me - close enough to where I needed to be (Palais des congres) and is also close the Arch of Triumph and Champs Elysees. This is not tourist central Paris, which I liked, I mean all of Paris is full of tourists but this area felt like it had more locals. One quick word on the Wifi though - it works - but not very well - i.e. its not fast enough to do too much and can be iffy at points. Thanks Courcelles Etoile
It was amazing The location was perfect Very close almost next door to the metro ,very close to bus stops Hotel was clean well maintained Breakfast was ok Not a lot of variety especially if you have it daily for your entire stay . But overall we had a fabulous stay here
mini hotel
been stay here for more than 5 times now, the room is still very clean!
Great little hotel with 4 star service
Very accommodative staff, seemless service. Perfect hotel for a stay in Paris being close to everything.
Lovely hotel close to metro, grocery store, bank and restaurants. Quieter area. One of the staff spoke excellent English which was very helpful. We would have liked a kettle in the room to make tea but this is Paris the land of coffee. Great hotel . Travelled with my teenage daughter
I booked an executive room for their bubble bath...and it didn't work. I could have gone to a better hotel. Other things were broken like the door handle Staff was not very nice, except 1 guy (out of 3) I go for business so expect good service and comfort, so wouldnt recommend it for that
Well located. Very quiet. Comfortable bedding. Excellent hotel staff. Nice breakfast. Restaurants within walking distance.
I was amazed, for the price, how wonderful it was!!! I would go back!
the overall is nice.the room is neat and clean. however the bad thing is their wifi. almost everyday I can't connect to the wifi from my room. most of the time, I need to go to the lobby to connect to wifi. and on the last day, even at lobby, I also cant connect to wifi.
excellent value
Older style hotel with character. Well located only 200 meters from underground Metro. Close restaurants and supermarket. Very cheap for the area. My room had an electric powered skylight which was a nice touch.
My short stay in Paris
Overall good. Rooms are tiny but well equipped. Asking for a late check even one hour was not well received. Cafe next door that was recommended was great!!
Great stay, worth every penny spent
Room was cozy. We got a room with a jetted tub and we thought we'd miss a stand up shower...we ended up using the tub more as it helped ease all our aches from our daily adventures. Front desk was helpful, room was clean and quiet, bed was comfy. Easy walk to Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodations in this area.
Really small rooms
The rooms are incredibly tiny. I've heard that most rooms in europe are small, but I was shocked at how small they really were. There was no tub, only a shower in the bathroom. I'm by no means big, but if you're taller than 5'9 or a bit stocky you might have some trouble fitting into the shower. Breakfast was good. They had a promo for breakfast for 10 euros. Thats something you should take advantage of if its offered. Location was great. About a 10 minute walk to Arc d' Triomphe. There's a metro stop around the block too.
Comfy beds
Great experience but confuse on cost as local French guys paid far lower than us.
I love this hotel but it was so small room
everything was good but the room is too small truly tiny too tiny.
PARFAIT!!
Loved the location! Staff was awesome and the room was the perfect size for us! This is a MUST stay!
Great result for booking unseen from the U.S.
It can be daunting to book a room at a hotel in a foreign country when you have no idea how accurately the property is representing itself online. One does not have to worry about this hotel. It delivered as stated. There's also a fun lounge downstairs and next door (Le Village) that's great to pop down to once you're checked in. Neighborhood is great and there's a Metro stop right around the corner.
residential neighborhood
Located in a more residential area than touristy. Right around the corner from the metro but not extremely close to main attractions.
The hotel is very good and well run in general. The front desk staff was very helpful. My only complaints are that the shower doors do not close completely and water runs onto the bathroom floor, and the room was so small that I hit my hip on the cupboard door simply trying to get around the bed. I am quite skinny, so that tells you something. So I'd give it a HIGH 4.5 points.
Perfect for our 3 night stay
We stayed in a deluxe double room and thought it worked for the two of us. Just enough room since we are light packers and relatively low maintenance. The headboard was a little dusty, but, other than that, the room was clean. The hotel is in a great location. A market, boulangerie, cute shops, and perfectly adequate restaurants/bars next door.
I've experienced Parisien hotels on 40 occasions. In terms of room dimensions and arrangement, this one approached the claustrophobic end of the spectrum, representing the first time since Japan that I've experienced such limited mobility. Represented the first time I've not had floor to ceiling windows to compensate. That said, an excellent air conditioning system, colourful brightness, above-average mattress and ultimate cleanliness compensated for these attendant limitations.
stayed 4 nights. WONDERFUL!!
Weather was >80 outside and still air conditioning kept fifth floor room very comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. Metro was literally just a few steps around corner. View from hotel was beautiful. Large beautiful garden half a block from hotel. Arc Triumph really is easy 10 minute walk. Viewing Google maps street view before our arrival made it really easy to locate hotel when we, xited
Reasonable price in expensive area
Great location for my office and booked at a good price, will stay again subject to pricing
Good hotel, basic amenities, nice location
The hotel is located in a nice part of the city local to many of the attractions. The rooms are small, and the decor could use an update but the staff is nice and helpful and it is clean.
Nice little hotel
The decor of the rooms is fantastic, and we go ta room that had a high ceiling, so it didn't feel too small. We came across 3 front desk people during our stay, one was very friendly, the other 2 pretty average... Metro station steps away, very nice neighborhood, couple of nice places nearby to have breakfast, the one immediately next to the hotel, we had 1 nice experience, and then we came back the next the day and we weren't treated too well, I don't know if they don't like tourists in there, even though we blended in pretty well, besides the not so fluent french but we made the effort.
A good option in Paris!
I picked this hotel solely for its location: it is very close to my friend's home. The rooms were small, but clean and the place was well-maintained. The staff was nice and accommodating. The bathrooms were modern, but VERY small. I can handle a small bathroom, but it's the smallest shower I've ever used. The decor is rather modern. The surrounding area has cute shops, a very nearby grocery, bakeries, etc. All and all a nice stay!
The Courcelles Etoile Paris
We have enjoyed our stay at the Courcelles Etoile Hotel in Paris and we would recommend it to our friends.
Not as expected
From the on line profile of the hotel I was expecting more than was delivered. Room was smaller than anticipated and over looked by flats on opposite side of street. Location is the saving grace for the hotel with both Metro and RER stations seconds from it.
Great modern hotel, only a bathtub, quiet location
THE GOOD - I loved the look and feel of this hotel. It's conveniently less than a block from the Metro stop Pereire, and a 15 minute walk to Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. The front desk was extremely nice and helpful, the room was very clean and I liked the operable windows with a French railing. THE BAD - the neighborhood itself is a little ritzier - most of the restaurants we saw had a very expensive pris-fixe (sp?) menu. We were walking around after midnight on a Friday, and much of the area was already shut down. So if you're looking to go out, I would stay in the Saint Germaine or Marais areas. We also only had a bathtub, which I guess is a French thing - but for my 6'2" fiance, he did not love it. For a quieter trip, this would be an EXCELLENT hotel. For going out, I would not recommend this neighborhood.
Good location
The location of the hotel is ideal. There is a Metro as well as several bus lines a short walk away. There are restaurants scattered in both directions from the entrance of the hotel as well. If you are looking for super fancy...keep looking. If not, then you will enjoy your stay here.
its good
Skønt lille hotel i Paris
The personal was always very friendly and helped when you need it.
Cute hotel with great staff! Located next to a metro stop, a super market, a bakery, and some bistrots. In walking distance from Arc de Triomphe. The beds were comfortable, too. Perfect for a city getaway!
Très bon rapport qualité prix Personnel attentif
Comoda e silenziosa
Bel posto e tanti ristorante e metropolitana e bus
Personnel sympathique. Petite chambre un lit mais confortable !

Really enjoyed my stay, it was a good. Comfy bed, clean and private toilet, nice layout. Didnt use all jacuzzi settings due to an issues with sanitary condidtion, however we did our best enjoy other provisions of the jacuzzi.
