Ideal stopover location in mid-Spain

We wanted an overnight stop halfway from Almeria to Santander without going into Madrid itself. The hotel was ideally situated just off the A2 and parking was available right outside the hotel. The restaurant attached to the hotel provided a late snack and drink when we arrived and a good value breakfast the next morning (4 Euros for a breakfast which included bacon and eggs!). Staff were attentive and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay there again. A short drive around the town in the evening indicated a place in which to spend a longer time so we will be planning a 2 day stopover next time!

Awful experience

Staff was so rude did not want to help with anything they would also give dirty looks at foreigners. Their where ants in my room I was so unsatisfied if you tried to park the car they said it would be 90 euros per night which is out rages when you can find parking on the street I will never come back to this place or recommend anyone to stay their

Well located for Madrid International Airport

Hotel Cisneros is a business-like establishment located about a 15-minute walk south of the city center. It is a great location for the night before or the night after a flight at Madrid Airport (10 miles west). Well removed from the main street and quiet. A number of small markets and bar-cafes are a two-minute walk away. Plenty of free parking. Strong wi-fi.

Very friendly staff. Front desk clerks did a fantastic job orienting is in a new city and offering recommendations for places to eat.

Lovely hotel in a historic town.

The historic town is lovely and full of amenities. The hotel staff and the the staff in the Fifty Fifty cafè are lovely and really helpful. Could have done with coffee and tea in the room.

An unfortunate nights stay.

Our stay was ruined by a student party who kept us awake with their noise throughout the night. On contacting reception the young girl did try to help, but without much success. Breakfast is to be missed, it is very poor even by continental standards. We got the impression that the hotel is struggling. Must praise the receptionist who was most helpful and spoke excellent English. Our evening meal was very average.

Nice hotel in Alcala city. 50 mins from Madrid

Clean and Comfortable.

Clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Full of historical places to visit from the old Juderia, to the famous Complutense university, roman remains, the birth place of Miguel de Cervantes, and many more.

Passable but nothing to write home about

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Other than that not much reason to return. Alcala is pretty scary (very downmarket)...about the worst town I've seen out of two dozen places in Spain.

Close to the center of beautiful Alcala de Henares

I would deffinitely recommend it however if you want to go to Madrid you have to take bus then the train which will take you directly to Atocha Station (total travel time about 1 hour). Very helpfull staff.

Excellent Service

we were impressed with the service we received from staff. Breakfast was appropriate and refreshing that meet our needs. Hotel amenities were good and the location was near to the city centre.

pleasant stay at Alcala de Henares

Nice hotel outskirt of Madrid. The room is good size and quite comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. The old city of Alcala de Henares is definitely worth to visit.

Muy buena opción

Hotel acorde a su categoría de 4 estrellas. Empleados amables, estancias limpias, buena terraza. Zona residencial pero con servicios cerca. Buen acceso al centro andando y por transporte público. Buenas salidas a carretera en coche. Echamos de menos la nevera y la caja fuerte en la habitación. El aire funcionó muy bien en plena ola de caloraunque era un poquito ruidoso

Muy buena experiencia, personal muy amable y servicial. El bar del hotel muy conveniente. Hay un paseo muy cerca precioso para una caminata después de cenar.

El hotel esta bien ubicado las habitaciones perfectas limpias y sin ruido .Lo peor la cafeteria,fuimos a picar algo para cenar y la camarera no se enteraba de nada y no habia gente.

Seguiré repitiendo

Últimamente casi todos los fines de semana voy a este hotel. El checking siempre es rápido y cómodo. La habitación siempre está en un estado perfecto. Aunque esta vez la tv no funcionaba. No dijimos nada, porque llegamos por la noche, pero echamos de menos ver la tv un rato antes de dormir. Aún así, seguiremos repitiendo, ya que ha sido algo puntual

La limpieza de la habitación era perfecta, así como el tamaño. La TV tenía conexión USB, eso nos gustó mucho para poder ver pelis que llevábamos en USB. El baño está muy bien, así como una ducha bastante amplia. Teníamos una habitación con terraza que estaba muy bien. La cama era cómoda, pero para mi gusto personal la almohada era muy blanda, pero se compensaba poniendo unos de los cojines. La única pega era que teníamos unos vecinos muy “ruidosos”

Me gustó tranquilidad. Me extrañó facilidad o suma dificultad para aparcar según horario. No me gustó que no se hiciera caso a mi petición expresa de forma de pago

Ruhige Lage

Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfreich. Im angeschlossenen Restaurant ist das Personal nicht unfreundlich, aber etwas grobgeschnitzt. Das Frühstück für 2,50 Euro ist zwar äußerst billig, aber entsprechend schlecht. Ich hätte gern mehr bezahlt und dafür einen besseren Kaffee, frisches Brot, Butter (statt Margarine) und etwas Käse oder Schinken gehabt. Mein Zimmer lag auf der Rückseite und dort war es ausgesprochen ruhig. Der Nachteil der Lage für Gäste, die nicht mit dem Auto da sind: Zum Bahnhof ist es weit zu laufen, man muss den Bus nehmen, der jedoch gleich vor dem Hotel abfährt. Der Zug nach Madrid braucht 40 Minuten.

Un hotel muy básico

Hotel normal por el que no merece la pena repetir si vienes desde el centro de madrid. Para comer tienes que alejarte un poco porque el restaurante que esta al lado no inspira confianza para entrar.

Hotel justito

Se trata de un hotel más bien justito. El diseño de las habitaciones no es el más adecuado, con columnas pegadas a media Altura de la cama. La limpieza también es justa. Con manchas en humedad en algunos falsos techos y telarañas colgando. El baño está muy limpio. La ropa de cama tenía quemaduras de cigarrillo, que si bien es culpa de los guarros de los clientes debería ser reparado por la dirección. Esta bien situado a menos de 10 minutos a pie del centro y es muy fácil aparcar. El desayuno es mejor hacerlo fuera. Un hotel discreto para pasar una noche esporádica y poco más. Una pena

Het hotel bevindt zich in Alcala de Henares. Deze stad ligt op een uur reizen met het openbaar vervoer van het centrum van Madrid. De tijd die je met reizen verliest, wordt goedgemaakt door het feit dat je tijdens het reizen getuige bent van de interactie tussen de lokale bevolking. Zij zijn onderweg naar werk, familie of brengen een bezoek aan Madrid. Je beleeft op deze manier het leven van alledag van de doorsnee Spanjaard. Als alleenreizende werden mij door het hotelpersoneel ongevraagd leuke tips aangereikt van eetgelegenheden en plaatsen om te bezoeken. Soms vroegen ze me aan het eind van de dag hoe deze geweest was. Ik heb dat als zeer prettig ervaren en me om die reden thuis gevoeld. Minpuntje is het feit dat het vrij gehorig is in het hotel.

Buena estancia

Aunque llegamos bastante tarde nos recibieron amablemente. Viajábamos con una perrita grande y la trataron estupendamente. El hotel tiene parking privado pero enfrente y por la zona hay mucho sitios para aparcar.
