Nice hotel that was ideal for my short stay.
Great locafion in the middle and cool room x
Very clean & modern. Quiet street off beaten track but not far from Piata Romano so near Metro. Plenty of little coffee shops & places for lunch. About 2 mile from Old Town a bit further than looked on map. Said 4 star but no leisure facilities. Included breakfast had plenty of choice.
The hotel was very clean and modern looking. The room was plenty for just me with TV and hotel safe. Nice area for hanging up clothes and a decent sized balcony overlooking the cobbled road. The shower was powerful and large but the only downside was that there was no screen between the bathroom door and the showerhead. There was also no brick well around the main 'splash' area. The excess water flowed into the main bedroom/living area. Had to inform reception and we got it mopped up .. Next shower i had i put an extra towel beneath the bathroom door. There is a coffee machine available but i would have much preferred just a kettle. Breakfast area was superb and a delightful choice of food. The coffee was excellent ... The staff were tremendous and a great help .. They can order you taxis Ubers and Bolt There is also a service for private trips up to the castle and also to Bulgaria These trips run from the hotel and it is a 'set' price up to so many people I would definitely go back again
The stuff was very nice very welcoming, the hotel was clean, a nice breakfast, and the price was a plus. The beds are a little too small if it was 5 inches bigger could be perfect plus maybe a few drawers to put your clothes, the room was big enough with lots of lights, I never saw a hotel with so many lights which I love it. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable
Modern, clean, well maintained and quiet hotel, situated about 15 minutes walk from 2 metro stations, just to the north of the city centre. Quiet residential neighbourhood with shops and restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast buffet. Recommended.
Excelent
Very nice hotel. Staff was very helpful, room was clean, provided an excellent breakfast.
Lovely hotel with a great breakfast!
Hotel Christina is a lovely hotel. It's about a 20min walk from Old Town Bucharest but Bolts from the hotel to town only cost about 20 leu. We stayed for 2 nights, the room was very comfortable and clean and quiet. There is a coffee machine and free water in the room as well as slippers and dressing gowns which gives it a lovely 'high end' price for a very reasonable price. But the highlight is breakfast! The have a fabulous buffet with loads of choice and a barista making you whatever coffee you like. It's a great way to start the day and very handy if you have kids. A lovely stay. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if I'm back in Bucharest.
Lovely, bright room, nice bathroom. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Good transport connections.
Lovely place! Will go again.
Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, location was a little far from the center but there was a Metro stop nearby
A modern bright hotel with staff on site 24/7
Property was clean Staff helpful Close to transportation 24 hour room service Breakfast was good Will gladly recommend and happily stay again Perfect decor and aesthetics
Staff was very helpful and kind.
Good size room, bathroom ok, a bit small, very good breakfast, super help at front desk
Staff (especially Simon’s at the front desk) was very friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again!
Ok
Fantastic hotel. Very clean, large rooms, even bathrobes and slippers provided. Great breakfasts.
Well positioned in a quiet area, but with transport links to everywhere I wanted to go. The hotel was very clean with excellent facilities. The breakfast was very good and the staff were efficient and very pleasant. They were willing to do some laundry for me free of charge which I thought was very good of them. Overall very happy with the hotel and return there after trip elsewhere
This was a very reasonably priced boutique hotel with some unexpected upgrades such as Nespresso coffee, motorized drapes and shades, electric beds, and a superb healthy breakfast offering.
I booked the room in this hotel for one night and it was absolutely amazing stay. The room was clean and in good condition. The presence of a smart toilet and automatic control of shutters and curtains, as well as an electric bed was beyond my expectations. Excellent for this price.
A handy location right round the corner from the central area of Buccharest. Room has great views though the hospital style bed complete with recliner controls was rather uncomfortable!
Would recommend to anyone!
The rooms are as advertised, which is excellent. It is very modern and up-to-date. The breakfast in the morning is with excellent service and a wide variety of food. Only critique is the shower set-up. Other than that, perfect 5 star stay for your money.
This hotel was very comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful and kind.
Just excellent!
We have stayed in this hotel for a week when it was 40 degrees centigrade during the day. Returning to this air conditioned paradise was the best treat we had in the city. The rooms are spacious, the bed even though narrow are surprisingly comfortable, the AC cools the room without hitting the beds. The breakfast is excellent, the personnel nice and always ready to help. Add to this a very moderate price and a good location and you get one of the best deals in Bucharest.
More than expected! Very comfortable room, modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, fresh juices, good quality food and coffee! I would recommend! Also walking distance to Piața Romana
A great hotel, our new favorite in Bucharest! Great amenities (including a Japanese style toilet!), great breakfast buffet. Cristina was fantastic at the restaurant, she really spoiled us at breakfast!!
Great little hotel
Great location, lovely breakfast, very clean rooms, perfect city hotel
Great little hotel
Good location, excellent standard of cleanliness, very helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Super restaurants around.
A great hotel in a good neighborhood. Great breakfast.
Everything was perfect, personnel really good and all the service met our hopes / demands. Of course we hoped that also streets and places around hotel would have been clean but this is not hotel’s responsibility. Bucarest does not meet yet ”western” standard but let’s see in the future what will be happened.
Had a 3 night stay here whilst visiting Bucharest. Well located in a fairly quiet area, rooms nicely furnished and clean. Very good breakfast. Very good value for money, would happily stay again.
Clean, comfortable, great breakfast
Great place to stay when visiting Bucharest. Very clean, shower was hot and had great pressure, front desk was helpful, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. All for a great price. We arranged transportation to and from the airport through the hotel for 30€ and we're very happy with the service, especially given our early flight out on a holiday. The breakfast buffet had fruits, pastries, yogurts, cereals, coffee, eggs to order, and more. Recommended.
Parking very difficult
The hotel is great. Very clean, breakfast was delicious and abundant. The staff was really nice and ver accommodating. The room was cleaned and replenished every day with toiletry. Great stay! Would definitely stay here again
Nice, clean hotel close to Piața Romana
Nice hotel, close to Piața Romana, Blvd Dacia, 10 min walk to Metro. The place is clean and breakfast is good. I would stay here again in the future
Excellent stuff. Willing to help as needed. Clean and not crouded. Metro station close by.
Nice room and it is quiet neighborhood, parking is a bit tough but I managed okay.
The access is not perfect but the inside is clean and convenience. The breakfast is perfect!
It was great, it had everything we needed for a short break in this big, fascinating city. The staff were great, warm and friendly and incredibly efficient. The breakfast was lovely. We had a great balcony and as the weather was so warm, it was a lovely haven to look at the roof tops and trees from.
Beautiful small hotel in a quiet area with good amenities. Close to 2 metro stations. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful
Room was clean and presentable. Staff was polite and helpful. Thank you to you all especially Georg and Mihaela
Little Gem
Great Value. Lots of special touches. In room Nespresso machine, hi-tech bidet, refrigerator, safe. Good breakfast, terrific cereal/nut/fruit/veg options for vegetarians. Location convenient to Therme, airport, and open air museum. Less congestion than old town area.
Staff very helpful and friendly, room was a good size with nice features. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Excellent small hotel in the middle of downtown Bucharest. This is truly a hidden gem, given the very reasonable pricing, the outstanding conditions, and the exceptional location (just 5 mins of walking from Piata Romana, one of the hearts of Bucharest). This is our second stay this year at Hotel Christina, and definitely not the last one. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for lodging in downtown Bucharest
Lovely, quiet boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Great value.
A fantastic place to stay.
The design of the building was great. Attention to detail was present in all facets of the facility. Even the stainless steel handrails on the stairways were fabricated with exquisite precision. The breakfast presentation was delightful, the lighting was unique, and the modern decor in the room made our comfortable bed even more relaxing.
Great hotel with friendly staff in a good location.
Clean room with toothbrushes and soaps provided, very nice friendly staff who spoke English, great breakfast spread, overall good experience!
Ok hotel but needs updating
The room was reasonably large. We were not sure about the automatic curtains, or the bed that could be tilted so you could sit upright, seemed a bit unnecessary. The furniture seemed a bit dated and worn, the colourful chairs in the room and restaurant were all stained from use. We didn't like the wet room bathroom as it took ages for the floor to dry and was annoying when you wanted to go in and out of the bathroom. The restaurant is in a basement, and we only stayed for breakfast once as it seemed sad to be stuck in a basement when the weather was great. Most of the breakfast had disappeared by the time we attended in the morning. The welcome drink/cheese was a nice touch, but again a shame to be sat in a basement in the summer. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. There were a couple of bugs in the room (including a caterpillar) which we had to pop out of the window. The location was great though, away from the touristy old town, and there were great restaurants/bars nearby, including the restaurant on the same street!
When travelling to Bucharest and looking for a reasonably priced hotel in downtown Bucharest, look no further. Hotel Christina is your best possible choice among the many hotels in the area. Located on a very quiet street just 5 minutes of walking from Piata Romana, the hotel is literally a well hidden gem which waits to be discovered. Very clean, quiet, with an excellent buffet breakfast, you can't ask for more. The staff is very nice and helpful. I am native Romania living for 30 years in US. I had to spend a night in Bucharest and was looking at the more expensive well known chains (Hilton, Intercontinental, Radisson, Mariott), and all of them had incredibly expensive rooms. Then, someone who travelled to Romania highly recommended Hotel Christina. They were right, so I will pay it forward and highly recommend the hotel for anyone interested in a nice boutique hotel with good pricing and outstanding location. You will definitely not be disappointed.
Outstanding in every aspect of hospitality accommodations. Hotel Christina is what every hotelier should aspire to.
Staff were amazing and very helpful. Someone was around 24/7. We didn’t explore the area as we weren’t there long but it was quiet around the hotel. We will definitely be back!
Very easy check in, friendly staff. Overall it was a great stay
Very clean, breakfast and dining available, affordable and really good. Parking virtually impossible, but location close to everything either by metro / subway or bus or just walking. We found the place quite safe and clean. Sidewalks are narrow by still walkable.
Nice hotel, front desk staff not too friendly
Flooded room. No parking.
I specifically chose this hotel because they advertised "free onsite parking" on hotels.com. This is a lie. There is only street parking that is hard to find. Furthermore, the shower consists of a showerhead sticking out of the wall with no shower walls or curtains. The shower drain was clogged and the whole bathroom and bedroom were flooded before I realized the drain was clogged. Soapy water on tiled floors is very slippery and hazardous. I cancelled the other 2 nights that I had booked here.
We liked everything, they were helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area
it was kept clean and staff were polite and friendly
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location, room, and breakfast was exceptional. The massage chair in the lobby was a plus. I would definitely stay again.
The most amazing customer service you can imagine
This is such an amazing Small Boutique Hotel that is virtually brand new but what makes the place special is the absolutely outstanding Customer Service that they provide from start to finish
Very nice hotel, though a bit far from the center by walk. We learned to use Uber for convenience. Our towels were changed everyday. To be more eco-friendly, I may suggest that they put a notice to the guest: Towels are replaced only when they are not placed on the hanger.
This hotel is clean and friendly staff. Good breakfast
The hotel was on a quiet street, room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, service excellent, provided toiletries of a known brand. Nice little quirk with electric curtains. Duvet was small, probably would not have been enough for two people, only one pillow and unfortunately no advertised gold benefits provided.
Fine for a night in Bucharest
Comfortable hotel located a short walk from bars, restaurants etc. I booked this place thinking it had free onsite parking but it was all on the street, although the lady on reception was super helpful in saving us a space on the very busy street. Comfortable bed, nice enough breakfast, decor was a little garish but no real complaints.
Great property in nice area of Bucharest.I like everything
All round pleasant place to stay Friendly staff, good food, nice room
Excellent location, great staff. Left early in the morning and they prepared a breakfast to go for us. Will definitely stay again.
Very good!!
Bad experience in the reception. Several miscommunication happened from check in to checkout. The shower floor is also broken.
Centrally located. The room was very comfortable and the staff helped this foreigner out a lot.
Hotel is very nice overall, with great breakfast and staff. Good location for those who do not mind walking a bit as it is about a mile from old town, but closer to Atheneum area. No hair conditioner and not very soundproof walls. Excellent service. Recommended
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well positioned
All thought is a small hotel the service was exceptional. We had free breakfast but every day they prepared our omelet and when we had dinner with them they asked as to pay only if we are satisfy with the food and even they asked us to pay amount (they don't give you prices they just tell you to pay whatever you want if you liked the food}. The food was great so we pay them what we usually pay in other restaurants. We ask for the laundry and the did it free of charge. We requested room service and the service was free and again they asked us to pay any amount and only if we liked the food. Their internet was very fast by the way. Thank you everyone . We will come back.
Great find!
Good location. Quiet but within walking distance to many great sites and restaurants. Their breakfast is one of the best I have had in Europe- lots of healthy options.
A very modern and very clean hotel. Our 3 night sray came with free breakfast everyday and free use of gym facilities (in a different building), which we didnt use, so can't comment on.. Our room was cleaned and refreshed everyday with toiletries, water, fruit, and tea/coffee. Breakfast was served from 7am-11am and had a variety of food to pkease everybody. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Our stay was lovely and comfortable, thankyou.
Very modern facility with helpful staff who were comfortable with English and providing assistance with my needs throughout my four day stay
Lovely hotel at a perfect location. When we arrived the staff was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast everyday was delicious and healthy. The room has a good size and neat everyday after cleaning. We highly recommend this little gem in Bucharest downtown
Location is very good, staff were supper excellent and extremely friendly.
Staff were incredibly accommodating and helped celebrate my birthday. No issues with a late arrival and a speedy check in which we appreciated as we were tired. Breakfast buffet was a high standard. Would recommend and definitely stay here in my next visit to Bucharest.
Lovely hotel in the heart of the city. Super clean in all areas. Fantastic breakfast.
Top recommended hotel in Bucharest
Exceptionality good quality service and very very friendly staff. They have some distinct amenities like free massage chair, electronically controlled beds, curtains, etc.
Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. clean, modern, spaceous rooms. Excellent breakfast. Better than some 5 stars hotels. 10 minutes walk to cheap efficient and direct metro. Very happy, stay here you will not regret it!
Everything was good. Location excellent. Easy walking distance of metro and not hard to walk to Old Town though glad bought a map in London. Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable, breakfast generous, everything worked. Only carp about coffee machine in bedroom - difficult to make tea and no milk!
The location is good, ten minute stroll form the airport bus. Reception staff were charming and helpful. A welcome plate was offered on arrival. It consisted of a plate of hors d'ouvres and a glass of wine. I had eaten so the receptionist added a drop more of wine. They are quite customer driven. The room was at the very top of the building meaning the lift stopped a floor below. Note this if you are not good on your feet. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Good bathroom too. A coffee machine was in the room. I couldn't work out how to make it produce hot water to make tea but the receptionist came up to show me. There is a good walk to the old part of the city but apart from that I have no complaint at all.
A very accommodating place to stay. One morning we missed our breakfast and staff were happy to bring some up to our room. They did not charge us and gave us whatever they could. So hospitable!
the breakfast was good, fantastic selection and service. The size and uniqueness was good. The complementary wine and cheese on the arrival night was very welcoming .
super clean. Central. Friendly. Great break. Great goulash soup place around the corner Past a bar called Balls.
Great boutique hotel
Really liked the way were treated and cared for. Staff were brilliant.
We liked the location, the comfort and the room space. Everything worked and there was a wide choice of food for breakfast
Staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent. The hotel is close to the centre of the city and only about 25 minutes walk from the Old Town where the dining and night life are.
Enjoyable stay
My friend and I stayed for a long weekend and found this hotel to be very friendly with nice helpful staff. As described the breakfast was a great start to everyday. It is about 1.5 mile walk from the Old Town area (which actually is not old at all!) but we liked that. Spent many hours in The Beers pub, a few mins walk away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very clean and the staff is very attentive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is newer and modern. I’m looking forward to staying here again.
Conveniently located in the city center with easy access to most tourist attractions. Has Air Conditioning! Excellent, diversified, “Breakfast buffet” is included. The Reception was very accommodating calling a taxi for us and providing Shuttle transfer to the airport. The entire staff went above and beyond to make us feel as comfortable as possible, to feel like home. We’ll be back and we greatly recommend Hotel Christina!
Sleek cool Hotel
Sleek and cool. Good breakfast. Place was great and had some cool things in it to make it interesting, like a massage chair in it. The place was clean, but the shower drain was clogged so I didn't get to enjoy showering as much as I'd like because I was worried it'd overflow.
What a cute place! So clean, green, serene. Amazing breakfast too.
Overall a nice hotel
Overall the stay was enjoyable, a really lovely hotel. The only problem is that on one of the days the cleaning lady left the door open to the room for the entire day. when we came back in the evening after being out of the hotel for more than 10 hours we discovered it and went to the reception and was told probably was the cleaning lady but dont know. When I asked how did they not notice an open hotel room door for 10 hours there was no reply back. Also if you leave the hotel room after 2 PM ( had a few business calls that day) your room will not be cleaned even if you leave the "please clean my room" notice on the door. Otherwise it was a lovely trip.

It was ok but not sure if I would stay again the shower door wasn't closing properly and the water was all over the floor in the bathroom, the air-conditioning wasn't working properly either, and the breakfast wasn't that good.
