Loved our stay, until the next time! ❤️
Will stay here again!
The hotel has friendly and helpful staff, is clean, has a nice game room for the entire family, and is conveniently located near Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.
Good location but lacked basic amenities for families with kids: a microwave and fridge in the rooms would have been nice for keeping and reheating leftovers. My room specifically did not have working cable television so I had to sign in on my Netflix just to watch a movie. No hot breakfast, just free terrible coffee for a small timeframe in the morning. Good for adult single travelers with few needs but not for families. Also, parking should have been free for hotel guests but just to park on site cost upwards of $75 a night. That parking fee cost more than a single night rate to stay at this hotel.
We stay here often and It is always a great experience when I stay
Was a very nice clean place. Just wish they had some warm food on site.
Staff was superb
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and fun place with a great location for exploring SF.
Perfect location pleasant stay!
There was an extra “resort” fee charge that was almost $50 more per day. It was definitely not worth it- the “extras” that were mentioned were extremely disappointing. The room was tiny and not very comfortable, the windows didn’t even seal closed all the way. We didn’t receive any VIP benefits that we were supposed to. Not worth the price.
We loved our stay as a family. Perfect location and helpful staff. We were especially appreciative of Nicole at the front desk for all of her recommendations for excellent and interesting sites and restaurants. Would definitely stay again next time we are in San Francisco.
In general, we like staying in this hotel due to three reasons: usually pretty clean, excellent walkable location, easy self parking. However, this time we realized how outdated their heating system and windows are. Nights were terrible as the heat is never held in the room, it gets cold immediately, so you gotta keep it on the entire time which was loud and blowing directly into your face (room 158). Super noisy, super cold and with a baby, this hotel become a big NO to us. At least during the cold seasons. Maybe summers will feel better.
Very helpful and friendly .
This was the best part of our trip, the lady at reception upgrade us, gave us some discounts at some restaurants and helped us to get our bearings. San Francisco is an incredible place and lots to see, do, drink and eat!" 100% we'll be coming back, thank you :-)
We enjoyed very much the room and the hotel overall.
The huge common area is a great spot. Cookies at night was a nice touch too. Family really liked it here.
Great hotel. Clean. Staff very courteous. Convient
Great stay
Great location for what we wanted to do. Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, cable cars. Pats cafe nearby for excellent breakfast and coffee. Beds, room and staff great. Felt secure here. Only down side is traffic noise early in the morning. Maybe better windows could cut down the traffic noise. Yes. I would stay here again.
Milk and cookies
It was a nice place for a couple days
Good parking, safe and clean
I stayed here on a solo trip to SF. I was considering hotels in the downtown/Union Square area and am so glad I chose this hotel. I felt very safe walking around the Wharf as a woman traveling alone, even at night. Upon check-in, I let the woman at the front desk know I was alone and she happily shared some safety tips, areas to avoid, etc. as well as restaurant recommendations. The room was very clean and modern. Housekeeping was accommodating to my schedule (jet lag/adjusting to time change). The hotel has bikes you can use which is a great way to see the area and even get to the Golden Gate Bridge/Presidio. I didn’t utilize the bar but it is a nice area to socialize. My only complaint is that the shower was not hot enough, but I’m also someone who likes it scorching. I would recommend this hotel for the location, cleanliness, and friendly/helpful staff and I’d definitely stay here again on future trips. Bonus tip: the area is so walkable with lots to do so it can be easy to stay there the whole time, but there is so much more to see in other parts of the city as well. Make sure to venture out, catch a cable car or big bus tour (both of which are within 5 min walking distance of the hotel), explore all the city has to offer. I already can’t wait to go back!
Loud neighbors
Only complain the people next to us were loud all night they partied and we couldn’t sleep
They had bikes, pool table, and corn hole which was a fun touch
Daughter visit
Visit to my daughter who lives in SF. Very friendly helpful staff! Great location! Only issue was paying more for a partial view of the bay and in reality looked out to a bare white wall unless standing at far corner of the window. Staff was very accommodating to find me another room with an improved city view which was also only ok
Good location, meh service
Great location, game room was a lot of fun and an unexpected surprise. The desk clerk that checked us in was not helpful or informative and ignored some questions and concerns we had. Overall we were very pleased
Everything was great so close to water and north beach!
Property is in an excellent location. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the fisherman’s wharf sign. It’s very safe around this area and the hotel itself is quite nice. It reminded me of a premier inn. I’d say it’s definitely worth the price. I will warn you though that you have to put $100 per night you stay deposit. Which is fine, it was released 3 days after check out but I thought it was a lot to hold as a deposit. The shop is convenient but expensive and the pool area was nice. It was very quiet in the room and we slept well. I would stay again and I would recommend this hotel.
I'm eighty. The shower coil benefit from a hand rail
I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.
Clean and convenient location.
San Francisco wedding
Stay was for my daughter’s wedding. Had a large part stay at hotel (more than 10 rooms), our room was very nice, some improvements do need to take place if this hotel wishes to stay as a front runner “Stay destination site”. They could improve the shower heads and bathtub; they’re not as efficient as they should be, they coffee shop could improve a little bit by having more of a “hot” selection of foods. Coffee and pastries can go so far, and that breakfast food business/ money is going out to outside businesses. Overall my wedding party was satisfied. I would stay at The Caza hotel again.
This property was very clean, family friendly and the staff was very professional.
Hotel room did not have coffee maker. Even though the hotel provided coffee or hot water for tea, it was available only during 6 AM to 10 AM and not even hot water and tea bags available at other times of the day. Did not use their pool and gym and so not sure about those facilities. The rooms were good and no issues.
The Hotel Caza was clean, quiet, safe and in close proximity to many food options,as well as very close to Fishermans Wharf. I would recommend this bright ,modern, friendly staffed hotel to anyone ,kids and pets welcome!
Friendly staff, great location and close to many landmarks
We love coming back to the Caza! Its clean and family friendly. Only down side with this last trip we barely got any sleep because the air conditioner kept making sounds weird poppingor dripping sound with in the unit. I notified the front desk the next morning. They said they would have maintenance/ engineer look into it.
worth Considering
hotel seemed in great location. our room backed up to an extremely noisy alley
Great value and location
We had the best time on our family trip to San Francisco. Hotel Caza was the perfect location to what we planned for our trip. Great walking distance to restaurants, pier 39 and Ghiradelli. We're so glad we got the parking option as it saved us money and we were stoked it allowed us to park for the day even after checkout so we could enjoy more of the city before we had to leave. The hotel was clean and very family friendly. Our boys loved the game room. Other than other guests who were loud in the hallways after hours, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
Very centrally located near Fisherman's Wharf and easy to get to/from with many food and tourist places nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cafe is pricey for breakfast/snacks. Bikes are free but there are only a limited number of them and in one size.
Terribly loud outside noise
Walkable to Pier 39. Cleanliness n great outdoor n indoor parking option. I would have given all 5 stars if they offered free continental bkfst atleast for added resorts fee as well.
Great place to stay right near the harbor. There are many food options and things to do in the area.
So many hidden charges. Parking is ridiculously expensive.
Hits the mark across the board
Great four night stay. Great bed and pillows. Quite Clean And close to everything.
Thank you!
Love the location! Clean and comfortable rooms.
Pros: Walkable to the wharf & many other places Right behind Surisan (best breakfast ever) Parking on premises Safe Clean & Nice Cons: No refrigerator Parking is Expensive! But that’s just the city for you. Had to pay $350 in for 3 nights which is just ridiculous to me. Especially considering we didn’t even use our car until we checked out again.
Great location, clean hotel. Would be willing to stay here next time.
Needs some refreshing
Crazy Noisy Nightmare Hotel Experience
Worst experienced ever We stayed at the city view room which wasn’t soundproof, so I could hear all the noise from outside. There was a club(?) right across the street. Super crazy noisy. I’m really disappointed with this hotel. The hotel was terrible and the worst ever. Noisy Noisy Noisy Noisy Worst nightmare ever
Location
Being in the Marina district, there was a number of homeless with mental illnesses so you need to be aware if around at night. During the day it was fine. Given the cost, a breakfast would have been nice.
The staff were great
The service was not good. The shower flow was very, very weak. The air conditioner made a lot of noise. The room service guy was not nice at all.
Good location, nice staff.
Clean and friendly. Great place!
Hotel Caza is very welcoming.
Great room at a great price. The staff was very friendly!
Average hotel. Don’t pay extra for bay views - all views are partial and mostly obstructed by the terrace features of adjacent properties. It is walkable to Fisherman’s wharf and pier39 so thats a plus
Great hotel, front desk is very accommodating and friendly, paid parking is easy. However, if you want a bay view room, please know that the view from the room may be significantly blocked for some of the bay view rooms. I wouldn’t book this hotel just for the bay view. Otherwise great hotel!
Walking distance from Fisherman’s Wharf, many shopping opportunities and restaurants. Lots of city noise, but hey, it’s San Francisco. Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and clean facilities. We would definitely stay here again
We really liked this hotel and how close it is to things to do. It is in a safe area and had everything we needed. The only thing that we didn’t like is that our showers were luke warm on our last day.
Super cute hotel within walking distance fo major attractions
I liked how close it was to Fishermans Wharf and other areas we visited. What I didn't like was paying over $100 a night in parking and resort fees that I wasn't aware of. I didn't see anything on Expedias website to warn me of this extra expense. If you had let me know I would have saved $400 and gone somewhere else.
Staff was friendly, rooms were nice and clean
The location was perfect rooms very clean
Bed was very squeaky, could hear everything adjacent to room including next door guests and people walking past our room since it is near the elevator on the edge. The games are pretty old and not clean to use. Missing game piece for foosball and they should have kids size pool sticks if it is suppose to be kid friendly. Kids also running loose in the communal areas. Bar closing before 11pm kind of sucked. Poor ventilation in bathroom and the light would turn off during my bath. Other than that, pretty clean and cute hotel.
The hotel is closely located to the pier and so many fun things to do. The downside is that there's lots of noise coming from inside and outside. The lighting in the bathroom is very dim, the bathtub is high and I almost tripped getting in and out. Couldn't find the ice bucket until we checked out the next day. :(
They mailed our postcards for us!
It was close to alot of fun destinations. Easy to get anywhere in the city from here.
it was easy and convenient and safe
Not greeted at check in. They saw me coming and picked up the phone instead. No VIP benefit. No room upgrade. Paid $300 w/ parking and didn't even have a mini fridge in the room.
.
It was good stay
Great stay and location
Great location! It’s an older building but they did a nice remodel to it. The outside looks deceiving to what you find inside. We will definitely visit here again. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
So clean the property & great staff & great location!
Noise across the street from the people and music until 3:00am.
Fantastic location.
The only downside is the ridiculously high parking rate.
Took two rooms to get it right but then I had no complaints. Beds comfy, linens clean, staff very nice. I didn’t do much around the hotel but sleep and shower. Happy I stayed here. Very convenient and close to the piers.
Very conveniently located, super friendly staff and lots to do.
Na
Very good
The staff was very friendly and initially I didn't like the room and they agreed to swap to an equiveland one with a better view.
The hotel was great, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. The location is great, close to lots of shops and restaurants. The only thing I struggled with was the $100 per night deposit, that can add up quickly if you’re staying for a good length of time. I’m also never a fan of resort fees, it’s broken into two categories plus taxes making the overall rate an extra $45.72 per night. I understand that the “resort” fee is pay for the amenities such as the pool, gym, wifi and any other services that are provided, I would just rather pay a flat rate, and have it built into the nightly rate. We enjoyed San Francisco, it is a fantastic city and I’d definitely like to come back when the weather is a nicer.
Very nice hotel. Property is well kept up and has paid underground parking. Room was very nice even though i asked for accessible shower not tub. Only towels in bathroom was 3 bath towels. No hand towels and no small washrags.
Excellent service.
Great location. Walkable to restaurants, shopping, theatres, etc.
Only thing I wish is that there was a microwave in the room for food you get from down stairs. Overall a very nice stay and walking distance to many sights to see.
We had a room overlooking a crummy back lot. The bathroom didn’t have any towel rack so the hand towel was always soggy. Not enough room to put things in bathroom. There was an extra $45 fee charged per day that I don’t know what it was for. No fridge or microwave or coffee pot in the room. Poorly stocked bar in lobby. No tonic or decent white wine. Gates to parking garage never once worked. We were supposed to get a 20 percent discount on purchases but there was very little to purchase- just some snacks and the aforementioned bar.
Great stay despite the weather.
The room itself is pretty simple but clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. Property is located near several good restaurants near the wharf as well as North Beach and Chinatown.
Great stay!
We requested adjoining rooms and when they were able to accomodate that request (2nd and 3rd nights) the staff made sure we had adjoining rooms.
We’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times. This particular stay, the manager, Moneir, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and happy. We can’t thank him enough!
Staff were amazing. So helpful
Food was expired and disgusting at the hotel and overpriced. They charge so many unnecessary fees and are dishonest about the totals when you check out. They were also dishonest about the totals on the deposits you have to put once you check in. I don’t recommend this place at all. Get an airbnb much better.
Good location, friendly and helpful staff, fun game area, and comfortable beds. However - I personally would not stay again due to the heavy use of fragrances throughout the hotel - both in the lobby/shared areas and a different perfume smell in rooms. Staff informed me this is from a cleaner and all rooms have the same smell, and no rooms have windows that open. The heater/AC also goes from heat to AC, so the rooms get very dry at night. Two of us got migraines from the constant smell unfortunately. That said - if perfume doesn’t bother you, it’s a great stay.
no fridge until we asked for one no coffee pot room was very far away also almost got locked in the stairwell that was not clearly marked tha it was not to be used-this cauused horrible anxiety for me
No coffee maker, refrigerator or microwave in room. View was of an alleyway.

Hotel Caza rocks!
From arrival to departure, the staff, facility, amenities, parking, and complimentary evening snacks truly deserve a five-star rating. We have stayed at hotels ranging from one to five stars, from budget-friendly to very expensive, yet Caza Hotel provided the most outstanding experience we have ever had. In particular, I would like to recognize Nicole and Aya at the front desk for making this trip truly exceptional. Their outstanding service and hospitality made a lasting impression. Thank you for such a wonderful stay—we look forward to returning! Best regards,
