However, I was very satisfied with the friendly and professional service provided by the hotel staff. The breakfast was also very satisfying, unlike typical continental European breakfasts. really debated about booking this hotel, the photos really do not do it justice. this place reminds me of the hotels I stayed at when I first started traveling to Italy. old world charm and decor. the room was very spacious with a king bed, large counter and fridge. bathroom is huge with alot of counter space, these are the things I look for when choosing a hotel. arrived late in the rain, literally right across from the train station. did not get a chance to really scope out the lobby but I loved what I did see. so wish I had just booked this place for our entire holiday. we used centrale station as our base and it was just so much better than the other places we used. reception said all we had to do was check out and they would call a taxi for us, this is at 3am. I was hesitant to not just do it myself as how often have you walked down to the lobby in the middle of the night to find no one available. not so here, reception guy called a cab, helped us with our bags, thank you! yes it's by the busy noisy train station, windows do a good job of reducing the sound. would recommend this place and would stay here again.

Convenient hotel

This is a great hotel across the road from train station. Breakfast was great with a big variety of food. Easy to get around from here by walking to attractions or metro E2.40 for 90 minute tickets to main attractions. There is a nightclub near, we were above it but with double glazing, operating mainly weekends - we slept okay. For convenience I would stay again. Food options at train station or short metro

Nice Stay Near Train Station

Hotel Bristol is a great stay near the train station. Small, but comfortable room with a wonderful variety in their Breakfast buffet. Staff is helpful and kind.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Central Rail Station. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was small but clean. Breakfast was included but we had to check out too early so they prepared us breakfast in a box which was very delicious.The surroundings were as we expected them to be near a rail station, so OK. We would stay in this hotel again.

Great hotel!

Reception was open on all hours. The room was clean, had a hair dryer, and even toothbrush. The receptionist was very nice and he recommended a very good restaurant. The hotel was also close to the train station and metro.

The hotel was decent. It was very close to the train station which was very convenient.

Super easy to get to due to its close proximity to the train station. However, that came at a slight cost of a "quiet" stay. Although the room itself sounded quite padded, it was very easy to hear any noise through the window. Also, it seemed quiet easy to hear any noise from neighbouring rooms if the volume rose above a normal conversational tone. We could easily hear the child next door. Washroom was very generously spacious, which is appreciated in Europe. Tubs also have a hot tub function, which was great. You also have to give your key to the front desk every time you leave the property, which seems like a bonus security, although, they don't ask for ID when you say your room number to get your key back, so I'm not quite sure how their system works but perhaps they have a way of knowing? Otherwise, it was overall a great stay.

Very convenient to central station

Very convenient right next to the central train station. A very small room with a single bed. A helpful front desk manager. I had no other interaction with staff other than getting a coffee at breakfast. This hotel served my needs for an overnight stop. It is relatively inexpensive safe and very convenient.

Pictures are accurate and the hotel is across the street from the train and bus terminal I took from the airport and to go to Venice. Shower was clogged when I arrived but they fixed it as soon as I mentioned the issue. Only issue was internet connection was not consistent, which can be frustrating.

Extremely old facility, hard beds, noisy, place, no Air conditioning, and the room looked dirty. Unless you are just sleeping in to catch a train in a few hours or the next day- avoid at all cost.

Bristol is across the street from Milan's Central train station, and therefore very easily accessible to everywhere. Very convenient.

Staff was excellent. Friendly and very helpful. The evening desk person, Ali, was really friendly and helpful. So was the day person. I just forgot to get his name. The breakfast was the best that we got since coming to Italy for 3 weeks. The waiters were super. The woman waitress remembered our coffee request after one day! The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the Central train station which was very convenient since cab lines were really long some days. The neighborhood was so so but I never felt unsafe.

Easy hotel from Milan Central Station

With very wet weather in Milan, it was very easy to find the hotel and walk across the street from Milan Central. Very convenient location.

This lovely hotel is conveniently located across the street from Milano Centrale Train Station and in walkable distance to lovely restaurants, grocery, ATM’s, etc. The hotel staff couldn’t be more helpful and kind. I can’t say enough about them. Breakfast is served from 7:00 -10:30 and offers an amazing variety of scrumptious choices, so no matter your food preference, you should be satisfied. Bed linens are changed and rooms cleaned daily by friendly staff who do a great job. I had a wonderful experience at the Bristol Hotel and would definitely return in the future.

An old but functional property with easy access to the train station and metro for a short stay. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise for a hotel in this category.

We arrived around 11am, the room was available for us, thanks for allowing early check-in, the room was very clean, had everything we need, beds are comfortable, friendly staff, Breakfast was decent

Suited us both perfectly as opposite Milan Central station and we used hotel as a base to explore . Staff were very welcoming and a good short stay . Bathroom was quite big only problem was bath itself did not give easy acces due to shower unit installed over half the bath . Loved the faded charm of the reception area . Good price .

Great location for Central Station

We experienced a few issues at first with slow service when calls made to reception with requests regarding an issue in the room. Also, dust was noticed around carpet edges and there were continual issues with the internet. We had no hot water one morning, but this issue was rectified by next morning. Our room was very small but on the positive side, the hotel is in a great location as seconds from Central Station. Breakfast was good. There are numerous restaurants in the area for dinner. An ok hotel for a night or two.

Great hotel right across the street from the central station. Beautiful large hall, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. The room with one bed are not very large but it is enough for one person. The toilet and bathroom are quite spacious, there are several towels. There are many restaurants and stores around hotel. I stayed there for three nights, my room was on the second floor, it was very calm and quiet.

It was close to everything

It was very quiet, and conveniently located across from Central Station. It had a great breakfast buffet. The bed was very hard! Such a shame because I'd return if they had a comfortable bed.

Area around the hotel was unsavory and made us a bit nervous. We arrived late and had to go out for something to eat. Also very noisy as there was construction next door starting at 7:00 am.

Hotels near stations are often ones to avoid, but not in this case. Friendly, helpful service, very convenient location, quiet and a good breakfast. All you need.

Excellent hotel just across the road from the Milano Centrale train station. Our Standard Triple Room was spacious, clean, with lots of sunlight, air conditioner, comfortable bedding, luxury toiletries, and quiet. I wanted to separately mention breakfast. It was excellent! The variety, quality and the service from the breakfast team were all outstanding. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

I liked most everything. My plan was to be close to the train station to see the city and take a day trip. It worked out perfectly. The hotel was clean, staff nice, and a great breakfast.

The Hotel Bristol was a block away from the Milano Centrale Station. The hotel was in walking distance to a park and a museum. It was a nice quiet hotel. We enjoyed our stay there.

It’s a good hotel near the train station. Staff good but breakfast below average. Very noisy at night. It suited me to the hilt as I was travelling in the next morning.

Property location is great but there was always smell of smoke in the lobby and there is a club at the back of the hotel that you can hear the music all night long.

Small & Cozy, but really all we needed

Straight out front of Central Station & turn left, Bristol building sign can be seen from there. Very close. All front desk & dinning room staff are friendly, engaging, & helpful. We stayed in 508. Small room, queen bed, with french doors to a patio. Comfy bed, pillows flat. The bar was closed as limited staff working the holiday but front desk staff gave us everything we asked for & there is no shortage of bars nearby. Shower is TINY and did not drain properly causing wet floor. Notified front desk & hopefully that will be corrected. Bathroom also has a window to the patio, nice to allow air flow but invited all the street noise. Waters in mini fridge are complementary. Electric outlets are limited. Caffe Panzera & Note di Cucina excellent dinner. Terrazzo Gallia excellent cocktail bar 7th floor patio overlooking Central station & surrounding area. Beware in Central station area including on the train, we had backpack full of electronics stolen while we were on the train. The thieves are good at their job.

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location. The central station is right across the street, which was convenient for us since we wanted to walk as less as possible because we had an elder person with us. Very nice hotel with confortable bed, good amenities and nice staff.

The Bristol is a perfect hotel located next to the Central Train Station. It’s clean, well appointed, shower has good water pressure, comfortable beds and the staff was professional and friendly. Taxi to the Dumo was only $12 or the train station is just a 2 minutes walk.

Lovely place to stay!

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Bristol. The front desk staff were kind and attentive and I loved the various amenities in the room. Literal steps away from the train and metro, and the location helped make for an easy departure from this beautiful city.

Shower is quite small but staff and overall facility and amenities were excellent. Good clean and safe hotel.

Spacious room and surprise jacuzzi tub! Very good breakfast service and very nice buffet. It was a bit unusual that we had to return our keys to the desk every time we left the building. But that was their policy. Very clean and extremely convenient to the trains and buses to airport. I recommend!

It's proximity to the station was the reason we chose it - and we arrived late one night and left after breakfast the next morning - so did not really take full advantage of the place

GOOD HOTEL BUT WIFI IS VERY BAD!

The hotel is in good location. Very near the grand station, restos, supermarkets and some shops but the WORST IS WE HAVE NO WIFI IN THE ROOM DURING OUR ENTIRE STAY. We informed the desk, they said they checked and wifi is good but our APPLE devices DIDN’T WORK AT ALL! we have to go down the lobby until late at night just to get our messages. Wifi is better in coffee shops!

I wasn't impressed at all...WiFi wasn't good...AC in the room was nearly everyday not working and it was like hell in the room cause it was so hot.

Perfect location but outdated hotel

The hotel is just opposite Milan Centrale which is very good. The toilet is big enough but the room is outdated and pretty small. You need to carry your baggage into the hotel. I need to leave at about 6:30am and they gave us breakfast box which is pretty helpful though I think there’s no pack drinks on it.

Location for the bus station. Did totally enjoy walk to the large park in town, as suggested by front desk. And, they were kind enough to keep our luggage while we toured.

Next door to train station and Taxi drop off, location is superb. Breakfast was included so that was a major plus. The view wasn't fantastic but at least the windows had secure rolling shutters and could block out all light
