GREAT LOCATION! Super clean, small but just what you need!
Not too pleasant
The room smelled really bad because of the pipes. I asked for an air freshener or something and they didn't do it (they said that usually when rains all properties in Sevilla face the problem) When I was leaving the hotel, I looked under the bed to see if I had dropped something and I saw that the floor was really dirty. If you don’t have company and you are coming back late to the hotel, you couldn’t be able to open both door, you need a person to tap the key again so that person can open the second door. Was not the best experience here
A must ! Stay here.
Beautiful place located in the centre of the city; very walkable to all places and to all attracions; super clean and comfortable.
Dated hotel but a great locaiton
We were in an internal patio room of the hotel. It was very run down and the bathroom was not great and a difficult to use over the bath shower, it had not been updated since the 80's. The room was incredibly basic. The rest of the hotel seemed nice and the location is fantastic, but the hotel is in need of updating.
Really good
I loved the property! The staff was friendly enough and the room was very cute.
Fantastic location and very friendly staff. Great wifi and comfy bed. I stayed in a double with a balcony and I loved it so much that I have already booked another stay here. Excellent value for money, I highly recommend
Las camas incómodas dura
We stayed here for three days. Overall the property is fine: it is close to all major tourist sites and the room is clean. If you’re someone who needs a hotel for a few days, then this is an ideal spot. The staff were fine for the most part.
Booked this hotel for June 5th 2024, found out there were BEDBUGS 😱😱😱😱😱😱 Hotel staff wasn’t helping to get us another room or refund us. They only wanted to change the bed sheet. Stay away from this hotel is you don’t want your vacations ruined and risk of getting a BEDBUG room.
Our room had a ridiculous amount of humidity, we constantly asked for a change of rooms but it never happend. The amount of humidity was INSANE and it completely ruined our trip, we barely got any sleep and always woke up feeling sick. Under no circumstance should anyone stay in our room! What I did enjoy was the location and service from the staff, I will give the hotel that.
So nice. Rooftop surprise.
Emphasis on boutique. Really great experience. Very authentic. Incredible location and rooftop. Room was very small. Front desk is at another property across the tiny street, but not an issue. Would have loved to stay longer.
The room had no natural lighting / the parking was a ways away
Located in a prime position in the Santa Cruz district. The hotel is situated on one of the many narrow alleyways in this area, which is fine during off peak season but will be difficult to navigate in the busy tourist season. The available local maps are difficult to use as they bear little resemblance to the street layout. As tourists will be walking virtually everywhere this is a big issue until you become familiar with the layout. That said, Seville is a wonderful city to visit and has plenty of charm and character.
The place is quiet and nice. Comfortable place to stay. Atmosphere is great and people are very friendly.
WIFI ACCESS WAS NOT AVAILABLE
Being in the wonderful area of Santa Cruz, the best location in Seville. Hotel is so unique.
Beautiful Courtyard, comfortable room, clean and good air conditioning!
Great location friendly staff!
It was great. Helpful staff, great location.
Great place to stay. You don't get any view by staying here but it was a nice pleasant place to stay. when we got there we had to go to another hotel next door to check in and thats also where the breakfast was. Its a good breakfast. Everything is clean and attractions and restaurants nearby. You have to walk a little to get to your taxi or get picked up but its only a short distance.
The hotel was lovely our room was clean, quaint and beautiful. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, nothing was a bother. We had complementary drinks on the roof top bar which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend staying here as it is also so close to all of the big sites and just a very comfy lovely place.
Great location in the Barrio de Santa Cruz!! Many cute restaurants and shops! Very close to the cathedral, Giralda, and Real Alcázar. Be prepared to walk a little with your luggage as the area is pedestrian only.
Good location. Stuff friendly but unexperienced. Room was poor and no housekeeping every day.
Great Historic Hotel
Perfect location! Tons of restaurants, bars, flamenco! This is one of the historic boutique hotels. We loved the welcome drink. Our only negative is very tiny room with no where to put suitcase.
The staff are super welcoming!
Could have done better.
The safe wouldn’t work and there was never anyone at reception to report it to. I left a bag in a restaurant, it contained our passports, cash, where we were staying etc. As safe wouldn’t work. The restaurant phoned the hotel to inform them that it had been found. But the Hotel never bothered to phone me. They sent an email, which I never noticed till much later. Very Poor customer service.
Loved the central location. While the room was 'no frills' it was great for a weekend stay. Loved the comfy bed, big windows and full shutters.
The hotel itself was adorable and central to a lot of varied places to visit. The bed was slight uncomfortable and the shower was cramped but overall a 4/5.
Perfectly situated quaint hotel
Quaint hotel perfectly situated in the Jewish quarter of Santa Cruz which is what we wanted. Fabulous view of the Cathedral from the roof seating area. Only drawback was a very small room with a view of the wall opposite. Helpful, friendly staff
Very enjoyable city. Wonders of antiquity to see. Fantastic local food to sample. Staff at hotel were outstanding and went beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience
This little boutique hotel was great, front staff were helpful and very nice. Thankfully we reached it before front desk closed at 2 pm — which then u have to check in at Hotel Halo around the corner which would have been really confusing. ESPECIALLY since this hotel has not easy to find. Taxi took us to the plaza in the barrio Santa Cruz and the rest is only accessible on foot. Carrying luggage in the winding, narrow, crowded pathways was NOT FUN! It’s no fault of the hotel, but it’s better suited for backpackers or those who travel SUPER light. We only had ONE luggage and 2 bag carryons but we still found it considerably exhausting and uncomfortable to check in and out of this hotel....oh, door locks at midnight! You’ll have to go knock on Halo Hotel door so someone could come and unlock yours...silly since we were there for the April fair and it’s an all nighter all week long.
This hotel location is terrific, the hotel lobby and common areas have charm and Mediterranean flavor. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, more accommodating - they’re all super kind, warm and helpful in every way. They go out of their way to help with reservations, recommendations, etc. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. It just could use a little freshening up - some paint and new curtains curtains would go a long way aesthetically but all in all, totally comfortable and great experience.
Damp dark musty room
Hotel was full so we weren’t moved to another room until our third & final night. However the manager was helpful and gave us breakfast the last 2,mornings of our stay to go some way to compensate for a sub-standard room
Everything was great except we didn’t have hot water in the shower... they tried to fix it but they did not fix it in time. This is most likely just a one time thing...
The room was very basic, however, it was very clean and we had everything that we needed. The best thing about this hotel is the location, absolutely perfect!
The price and location were excellent for our stay, but the breakfast buffet was expensive to add to your account (8€ when you can buy breakfast a block over for 2€). The room was incredibly small and the maid never came into clean during our visit. The internet in our room was very spotty, which they assured us was a problem with their provider and that they were trying to get it fixed. They had a quiet business center and printed things for me for free, but the inconvenience of not having access to internet was really frustrating. Staff in the office was very helpful. For the price this place was reasonable.
Nice hotel, need to carry luggage in old town
Nice place. Worst part was dragging luggage several blocks from taxi drop off to hotel. In a no car area so nothing can be done easily to change situation. Very place and helpful, friendly staff.
Excellent location and friendly staff x
We enjoyed the cozy room The terrace was nice but because of the cold weather we did not use it
Charming Boutique Hotel
We were so pleasantly surprised by our experience at this hotel. To be honest, I was a little skeptical about booking at a small hotel that didn't even have its own reception. But our worries were put to rest as soon as we arrived at Hotel Boutique Casas de Santa Cruz. This quaint little hotel is just beautiful and very well-kept. Our room on the ground floor was big enough for two people, had high ceilings and was very clean and comfortable. The A/C works well, and despite being on the ground floor, it was quiet. The location is perfect, as it is right in the middle of the historical Santa Cruz neighbourhood. The narrow walking-only streets added to the charm of the area, and the hotel is just a few minutes from the Real Alcazar and Seville Cathedral, and there are plenty of tapas bars around. And the small rooftop patio has amazing views of the landmarks -- a scenic spot to enjoy a glass of wine. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
Definitely recommend! Beautiful hotel!
Amazing little hotel! It exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful with tile work on the walls, a charming sitting room when you first walk in and a very cool rooftop patio. The rooms are spotless, very comfortable in terms of bed and AC (you will need it in July!). The location is perfect as it is within 15 minute walk distance of all the sights of the city. It also offered a free tour of the city which is highly recommended! The staff were also extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. DEFINITELY would recommend!
Resort-style, a relaxing stay
Perfect location! In the heart of the historical area, where everything is there (Park, Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, Cathedral, Palace, Hotels) within walking distance and complete pedestrian area. The room is spacious and comfy.
Clean and Good Location
Room was in the heart of the old town. It's a pedestrian only access to the hotel but it's only a 1-min walk from where the cab dropped us off. Room was clean and modern. Love it and will recommend it.
Lovely Boutique Hotel!
This boutique hotel was absolutely lovely! Centrally located, clean, and with a very comfy bed. It's a small room, but if you are planning to be out and about sightseeing, then that doesn't matter too much. The staff was very nice as well.
Enjoyed the stay
Very helpful and cheery staff
Very central..
Literally minutes walk from all central sights, the cathedral, Alcazar gardens... tapas, a street artists, fab location
Convenient hotel
One night stay with partner. Only needed the hotel for sleeping since we spent the whole day in the city.
The most wonderful stay we ever had
Our stay here was wonderful. Room is clean and all the staff we met were so friendly. We love their breakfast so much. Location is wonderful too. You can reach everywhere in 5-15 mins. Will definitely come back again next year!
The breakfast venue was heavenly
A perfect location! In the heart of the historical area, where everything is there (Park, Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, Cathedral, Palace, Hotels) within walking distance and complete pedestrian area.
Reception was most helpful, but at remote location.
Tucked Away Getaway
Our trip was a winter getaway, and we chose this hotel for its centrality. IN this respect, it did not disappoint. It is pretty much directly between the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral in the historical center. Over the course of our stay, we were impressed with both the room and the staff. We checked in at a different location, but the front desk staff walked us to our room, which was just around the corner. I would have little problem rating this hotel a "5" if we did not have to deal with construction noise. Located on a tight alley-like street, our room was just feet away from a building that was being renovated. Although the room was immaculate, sound-proofing was poor - we heard construction noise and just about everything that happened on the street throughout the night and early in the morning. Since we are light sleepers, that put a damper on our stay. Overall, though, it's a great hotel.
3 nights in Seville
Took airport bus from Seville Airport, then walked, about10 minutes. Taxi could have come very close as Hotel is in a pedestrian street. Location is wonderful for everything, hop on bus, Cathedral which is amazing, and Alcazar. Lots of Restaurants. Room small but fine for a few days, Room 103 was ours in a kind of Riad affaire.Staff very friendly and efficient. Tea/coffee tray a joke as it was an espresso machine, no milk or sugar just two capsules and one had to pay for milk or more coffee. I think do it properly ar not at all. I was charged 1.5 euros on checkout for 3 milks which I found a bit tasteless. Should charge more and do a decent tray. Everyone likes to have a hot drink in bed and there is no room service.
Charming
Charming and convenient. Our only complaint is that the room was too small but worth putting up with for the location
Wonderful hotel, the best location!
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The room was small, cute, very clean and well decorated. The room was very comfortable and the AC was fantastic. The staff was outstanding! Upon arrival they treat you to free welcome drinks from the next door restaurant and the hotel receives 10% discounts to some great restaurants in the area. The staff also was very accommodating to answering questions, making reservations, and providing great recommendations. The location was perfect! We were in one of the cutest squares in Seville, the Dona Elvira, which is literally right next to the Alcazar and the Cathedral. We were easily able to walk to all of the main sites and attractions in Seville, which was perfect! This was my favorite hotel we stayed in during our two week vacation in Spain, would definitely recommend to anyone!
great location
Very helpful staff. Sent email giving directions to hotel. Room comfortable, quaint. The hotel is a very old building, updated, air conditioning was good. Location is very central to the main interests of Seville. Walking area only, very quiet. Tourist office close by.
Well located value for money
We had an economy room for a couple of days and for the price it was fine. On the downside there was no window to the outside, only to the inner enclosed court. And the wifi stopped working on the 2nd day.
Great location, tiny room
There is something nice about staying in a hotel on a street so picturesque that tourists repeatedly take photos of it. The location was ideally located between the main tourism sites--the Alcazar and the Cathedral, and a wonderful park offering a quiet, but safe paseo. If you are looking at the maps, be sure to notice the scale. The hotel is only 350 meters from either the Alcazar or the cathedral. But the room was small. This was not the first Gothic quarter location we have stayed in, but even by Gothic locations it was small. The staff was good, but basic things (such as roof terrace access) were not explained. I would probably look elsewhere first, but would stay at this hotel again.
Nice small cosy hotel, close to everything.
Beware Hotel is located on street that has no access to vehicles, taxi can only drop off at a nearby square, which is about 2 minute walking distance. There is construction/renovation going on next to the hotel, causing some noise very early in the morning. Staff speaks good English and very helpful. Overall the stay was very pleasant. The room is clean and bathroom is modern.
Small room as expected but very clean, and perfect location.
Good location
Staff excellent, really helpful & informative. Our room was on the bottom floor which was quite dark and a little musty. Would return but would prefer a room on one of the higher floors.
Fab hotel. Fab location
This hotel was a gem of a find. I stayed with my 10yo son. Beatriz at reception could not have been more lovely, we got a warm welcome and a map on which all the main attractions were pointed out to us. The room was perfect, good AC, great shower and comfy bed. Lots of restaurants within minutes walk. 5 min walk to the cathedral and Alcazar. My only fault was the breakfast. It's ok but not great. But I would highly recommend and if I go back to Seville it's whee I'll be staying
great place
The hotel is located at the very center of Seville, steps from the Cathedral. Very clean and comfortable room, no noise from the streets.
Loved it! Inside the barrio
Yes this place was a bit hard to find but the location is exactly where you want to be and the room is perfect! Modern, clean, delightful and you just step out the door and Seville's livelihood is on display.
Great Hotel, Good Deal, Wonderful Service
Went there with my boyfriend for a few days while traveling in Spain. Hotel was in great condition and recently renovated. Hotel staff was impressive, friendly, spoke great English, and were very responsive to needs and requests. Hotel is located in heart of old town Seville - within walking distance of the Alcazar and other famous sites. At times the area can be a bit of a tourist trap - it will turn from a quiet quaint neighborhood and then suddenly flooded with 50 tourists walking around aimlessly. Two things to consider, however - the hotel is nearly impossible to reach all the way by taxi so you'll have to be dropped off a few blocks away. Also, the winding small corridors and roads of the old city can make it difficult to find, especially at night (even when sober). Always make sure you have a map or your GPS-enabled phone with you.
Great Location
Great Location, lovely hotel, value for money. if you are a light sleeper, make sure you do not get a room facing the street as it can be noisy in the early morning
Great Location
Great location, service and room, will be going again!
Looks are not everything
Well, the hotel is a tiny tiny building in an even tinier road in the middle of the old quarter. Plan extra time to find the recommended parking and to get there. The hotel looks fantastic from the outside and the overwhelming courtyard. I would foregive the roomsize, but the beds were borderline. We considered sleeping on the floor. Then we decided otherwise because we couldn't sleep anyway. The noise form the small little street is so loud you hear every little thing. No point paying for the hotel if you can't sleep anyway. NExt time we unfortunately will stay away. Sad actually. Could have been nice
A great two nights stay
This place was so nice to stay. The small plaza adjacent to the casa was so quite and welcoming. The staff was very helpful and their restaurant has a great wait staff and food.
Casas De Santa Cruz
Close to the center of Seville
Good value!
Great price for what you get. It`s clean, quiet and the service is good. We had a double room in the second floor. All good.
Great city
Great location once you found it. On a pedestrian only ally which was quiet and centrally located. Cab driver drips you off 3 blocks from hotel so if you make a wrong turn it could be a long walk with luggage. Have a map before you get there. Staff was very friendly maps were good and town is great
We liked it.
The hotel appeared to have just 6 rooms on 3 floors (I've read in reviews since that they have another building - hence the "CasaS..."). It had a very smart updated decor and fixtures and was a lovely building with an inner courtyard. We choice to have breakfast with them at the restaurant across the way - buffet style, and with a good selection. Reception staff was always helpful and pleasant. Great location. Taxi dropped us off nearby, as cars cannot fit in the small lane it is on. It was no problem.
Casa de Santa Cruz - disappointing
We had high hopes for this hotel, but the conditions were not good. The rooms were very damp and musty, and every time the water in the bathroom was run or the toilet flushed (even in other rooms!) the pipes started banging, waking us at night. Great location, poor experience.
To start: excelent location, really
To start: excelent location, really excellent. We had our (quite small) room between the lobby and the street on the ground floor. We stayed there three nights and i had to get up once (at 01.00) to ask some late arrivals to stay quiet in the lobby because i couldn't sleep. A pity because there was no street rumour and people stayed generally not in the lobby. So if you get room 1 or room 2 at the ground floor, ask for another room if available... Rooms were generally clean, altough we had to ask for extra toilet paper and the floor was'nt cleaned every day (at rainy days it might be useful because of wet shoes). One other remark, breakfast was poor (only jam or ham for toast or (2) sandwiches, not even cheese or other) but tasteful.
Not much amenities but a great location
I thought the location, only a two minute walk, to the catherdal was excellent. The hotel is fairly bare bones but it was clean and the receptionist friendly and helpful. If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your room then this place is perfect.
Fine hotel, great place
The hotel had just opened, but everything in this small remodeled and restored house in the old city was just great; the desk staff was especially friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the associated restaurant ten steps across the (pedestrian) street was delightful; this too is a restored house, with a larger patio. Seville is a delight to walk and wander in; this location in a less bustling part of the old city is very near the University, the Cathedral, the Archivo General de Indias, and (by good luck, the days we were there) the international Book Fair. It is also comfortable walking distance, even with luggage, from the inter-urban bus station.
.
The staff was absolutely amazing for helping when ever we needed. The location is perfectly located in the heart of the old Sevilla city. The parking is only about 300m away and you will walk through very charming narrow streets to reach your hotel. The room was so cozy with lots of European character.
Ottima posizione, camera standard buona, pulita. Essere già nella zona pedonale importante.
ingen hjælp at hente
Really excellent location - you need a map to find it but a lot of restaurants in quaint courtyards even closer than the Cathedral which is about a 3 minute walk away. Tiny issue - you check-in in the restaurant opposite - put a sign on the door. Very good facilities in a lovely period building. Never got around to going up to the roof. Good friendly staff.
