Good spot for railway/bus station, beach and city

Room and bathroom OK but the style didn't suit us. Firstly there were no drawers for storage and very little surface space, plus no bin at coffee machine so all debris had to be carried into bathroom. Breakfast seemed pretty meagre even for a 2 star establishment and the coffee was never served hot.

This is a great hotel in Gross, staff are so friendly and helpful, hotel is very clean and beds were comfy. Just a few minutes walk from Zurriola beach and 15 mins walk to La Concha beach. Highly recommended.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed here for three nights at the end of September. The property is clean, modern and most importantly very central to the beach, many cool bars and restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly and often provided insight on local attractions and restaurant recommendations. I would highly recommend if you want a clean, central and friendly hotel to stay in

Mold infested hotel

Entire floor smelled strongly of mildew. Bathrooms did not have ventilation and had extensive mold. Was sick after our first night. Absolutely avoid this hotel at all costs.

The place and the staff were amazing. They are very attentive to care.

Amazing stay

I cannot thank the hotel staffs enough. My kid threw up on the first night… we asked them for new sheets/covers. They didn’t only bring them, they stayed in our room and changed all the sheets including the mattress protector in the middle of the night, never seems annoyed or disgusted. That was very appreciative and nice! I received more than 5 star hotel service. I wanted to thank them for the exceptional service. The check in is 24hrs, which was a big plus for people like us arriving later in the evening. We stayed 3 nights, and they cleaned our beds and towels every night. There are recycle bins for each type or trash, it’s wonderful to see that they care about the environment too. They offered to keep our suitcase after check out. That was such a great offer when you still want to explore the city until your train/flight time. I would definitely stay here again, the staffs were all nice and friendly. I thank them so much with their amazing hospitality!!!

Close to underground garage parking, but over night costs are on the high end.

Great location

Basic but comfortable clean spacious room. We were lucky to get room on top floor with lovely balcony. Great position for Gros ,Old town, and city centre. Everything walkable. Some great bars and restaurants near by. Would have liked a little more storage,and a kettle, but coffee machine provided. Great stay.

Easy check in and check out. Rooms were not huge but comfortable with large amounts of luggage. It was very clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked for my business needs. Excellent location. We had a lovely little balcony which was a nice touch. The staff was amazing and spoke English if Spanish is a challenge for you. A great stay!

Friendly people, very helpful. Nice breakfast. Very quiet room even though there are restaurants and a bar in the street that are open late there was no outside noise in our 5th floor room.

A pleasant surprise at this pricepoint

The location, comfortability, service and cleanliness combined into the perfect package and for a surprisingly fair price. For this price I came to expect something a lot less equipped but the room was modern, well equipped and comfortable. Although I only stayed for the night I felt welcome and enjoyed the room very much. Would definitely recommend.

Great value and location!

This was our 8th visit to San Sebastian and we have stayed in many different hotels on different budgets. This hotel is definately excellent value, with large modern rooms, friendly staff, and great location. First time actually staying in Gros, but still so close to the Old Town which is just 10mins or so walk away. The only thing that would have enhanced our stay is a coffee machine, even a communal one! I guess the price reflects that, and its nice to support the cafes across the street. Overall, a great value stay for a few days in SS.

Clean, modern hotel in a convenient, central location.

In a very expensive town, a hidden gem. Large clean rooms for a great prices. We included the breakfast with our room rate. Staff were very pleasant, found us parking at a good rate (ask at hotel). Very hard to find parking in this town. Walkable to beach and Old Town. Highly recommend.

I would like to have a small gym

Wonderful hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I would definitely stay there again.

Some staff were great, others were very grumpy. The breakfast for 14 euros each was terrible!

Although the room may be consider small for some people, it is comfortable, modern and very clean. The bed was very comfortable too. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful when ask for directions. I highly recommend this hotel an we will definitely will stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was well placed for the beach and the old town and there were loads of great places to eat nearby. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and super helpful.

We chose this hotel because it's conveniently located in Gros, and well priced (San Sebastian is pretty pricey compared to other parts of Spain). The room is nice and very clean. The bathroom is clean but a little small. Even though Bed4U is only a two star hotel, we loved our stay here, because the staff was so friendly and went out of their way to take care of us. In particular, Cristina and Kattalin spent so much time helping us recommending and organizing our dining options, showing us where to go in the town (e.g. Go Local ebike tour), and introduced us to the surrounding towns to visit (by car). They were so enthusiastic and friendly, they brought a smile to us every time we spoke to them. They made our stay in San Sebastian a wonderful experience!

Great service and value for money

It was a great experience. Service from front desk was amazing, super nice and helpful. Rooms were big and very comfortable. Location was the best, close to everything. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach and loads of restaurants, bars and shops around.

Fabulous Hotel

What a wonder stay! The location is perfect. Surrounded by pintxos bars, cafes and restaurants but because it is not directly in the hold town it is so quiet at night. The old town is about a 10 min walk away and the bus station is about 15 mins away, the beach is 2 blocks away and buses are at the door to take you to more distant places. Cristina, Mikael and their team is fantastic. So happy, friendly and helpful. Just amazing. The room was large, modern and clean. We slept so well and couldn't ask for anything more. Wifi worked really well. I highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay here again. I can't think of a single negative. Thank you.

A great stay in San Sebastiàn

We have visited San Sebastiàn several times, and this location is perfect for us. The hotel is bright, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of shops and cafes nearby, and a short walk to the Old Town, the major shopping district, the beach, and the bus station.

Lovely clean spacious room. Great shower and a comfortable bed. Two complimentary bottles of water and a hand written welcome note. Nice touch.

Great new hotel at reasonable price

Great new two star hotel with minimal amenities, but spacious and new rooms, comfy beds, great showers, great location

Great value in a great location

Super nice, new hotel in a very central location. Room was very large, extra chairs and a small sofa, nice, new bathroom (a little cramped, but functional). Blackout curtains, well sound-insulated, and minutes from beach and old town. Lots of nice restaurants and bars right outside the door. Very friendly staff, always smiling and friendly and ready with recommendations. Rooms were very clean and well done. Would definitely stay here again.

Don’t let the name fool you!

The name is offputting nut the hotel is actually really nice for a lower end hotel. The rooms are a good size and very clean as the hotel is new. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly good. Would recommend if your looking for a hotel around this price bracket. Only small point is that the shower is designed poorly and the water spills into the bathroom when you open the door. This is not really a big problem however but thought I would mention it.

Hadde et kjempefint opphold, hotellet perfekt plassert for oss og rommet var meget bra. Fantastisk service fra betjeningen! Frokosten enkel, men tilstrekkelig da vi ikke er frokostpersoner.

Bra bemötande och hjälpsam personal med incheckning och parkering. Frukosten något fattig (kontinental) med små portioner. San Sebastian som stad fantastisk!

Prima hotel. Recent vernieuwd en prima gelegen.

Trevligt och centralt hotel med gångavstånd till fet mesta. Många restauranger i närheten och 5-10 minuters promenad till gamla stan. Moderna rum. Tyvärr saknades kylskåp och kaffekokare. Hjälpsam personal som tipsade om restauranger och sevärdheter.

Great location. Nice, basic and very clean hotel. for someone looking for a good place to sleep and rest when visiting this great city - we highly recommend it.
