I paid the fee of registration when I checked out. I still don't understand why I paid the extra payment after I purchased the hotel fee included in every expenditures.

Everything was great. I would have liked to see some smoked fish, mackarel at breakfast. Also, dissapointed that the beach lounge chairs were not free for the hotel guests as they are anywhere else in the world. I am very impressed with your staff. They were very helpful. I hope to return to Aurora.

We had to ask to be able to lower the temperature on our AC in the room which seems odd but in most of Europe it seems to be regulated but the hotel and not the guests which is a bit aggregating per se! Otherwise very nice !

All ok

I liked - near a beach, good walking trails, 20 minutes to town, good breakfast. Didn't like, small room, no kettle, felt institutional.

This hotel is situated at the sensational site among pine trees, looking towards the most beautiful sunset. The see is cristal clear. The rooms are rather small, but comfortable. Everything is clean. The food is local and of high quality. The best of all are people - they are very comitted, competent and nice. Many thanks to all.

Two night stay at Aurora Hotel

Sea view rooms, below the 3rd floor are totally blocked by trees. In order to reaget a water view you need to be up on the 4th floor and pay the premium level. We found it very noisy with the terrace door open, people pullng the metal window shades up and down at 6:30am. Room was decent size, very clean. Buffet breakfast was quite good, lots of selections but very crowded.

Big facility with poor design. Had to walk several hundred meters to the room using stairs. No elevator for half floors. Limited staffing. Limited parking. Overpriced. Won’t go back.

Overall this was a good property in a beautiful location. There is parking but it’s very busy, there’s paid parking that’s just les hassle. Food was good. Park view rooms overlook the road/car park but are quiet. Sea view rooms would be the highest rooms but the view would be stunning. It’s a very large hotel, could get busy in high season as noticeably busier in dining area closer to weekend

Wonderful and serene stay by the sea

Hotel Aurora is located in a beautiful spot, right next to beaches and pathways along the sea. Rooms were clean, big, and comfortable, and amenities were great.

We've stayed at this hotel numerous times and although the rooms are nothing special, they are clean and comfortable and the air-con works well. The staff are all very pleasant and the breakfast and dinner buffet choice is good. The live terrace music in the evenings seems not to have progressed past the 19080s and one wonders why they bother at all, since hardly anyone listens and the musicians are, mildly put, amateurish. If you ignore them and instead take a stroll along the beach to Čikat bay and enjoy the nature, you'll be very satisfied.

Stunning location

We went for the location and did not get disappointed! Stunning location in a pine forest next to the sea. We were also pleasantly surprised by the hotel: the service was efficient and professional. The real highlight for us was the pool and the steam rooms. Amazing. Also, worth mentioning is the breakfast and dinner buffet. Great choice and really yummy food. The only downside was that waiters were too eager and as soon as one finished dinner, they started setting up for next morning breakfast. So forget romance and go for the variety and efficiency at dinner. Finally, we went in January when very few tourists are there. I would personally not go in summer as it would be really packed with people, but that is after all a matter of preference.

Had a very pleasant stay. Nice area the hotel is in a pine wood easy walk to town also beautiful paths next to the sea. Room nice size, food selection excellent and very helpful staff. Would stay here again.

Pleasant experience with some serious shortcomings

Beautiful surroundings/nature, right next to the beach. Breakfast and dinner (in the half board) are very good with a wide selection available and the staff exceedingly pleasant. I have two big complaints though: 1. The dining expedience is unfortunately distinctly unpleasant, because the dining room is packed with tables right next to each other, so there is barely any privacy. There are constant queues for food with aggressive guests elbowing everybody in a bid to get to their desired morsels and the pungent smell of food being prepared permeating everything (in principle there's nothing wrong with the pleasant waft of food being cooked, but not to the extent that it is overpowering - the ventilation is very lacking here). One feels as if one was in a factory canteen with starved workers. 2. The entertainment programe put on each evening is atrocious: the music being played by the, alas, very, very mediocre bands is either badly plaid Dalmatian favorites from the 80s or Western hits from the 70s (think Julio Iglesias' early hits mangled beyond recognition). I was here for the first time in the 80s as a teenager and the music and evening programe is effectively no different!!?!! Seriously. That said, the beauty of the island really compensates for a lot and if you're contemplating a two or three night stay I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful setting

The hotel was wonderful, with spacious rooms and friendly staff. The evening and breakfast buffets were great, and the swimming and spa facilities were excellent. We even found a bottle of wine in our room after mentioning to reception that it was our wedding anniversary! A great location for exploring both Mali-Losinj (via the land train), and Veli-Losinj (where we’d highly recommend the Dolphin Watching Adriatic trips). We’d love to come back.

Excellent location, good selection of food

Right next to the sea, nice rooms, staff very pleasant. Very varied selection of food, although I highly suggest you find a table on the terrace, as the dining room is stuffy, noisy and crowded (this was in July, through - it might be better off-season). The nightly musical program on the terrace is awful, however - hello 1980s!?! Something should really be done about this, since not all guests want to relive their memories of thirty years and more ago with very poor renderings of hits from that era (and much older ones, too - Sinatra's I did it my Way and the like?!). Surely the management understands that music has progressed since then and if they feel that the happening on the terrace is really necessary (which is questionable) a better selection of performers might be more appropriate, unless the only audience they want to target is pensioners (but even then the quality of the musicians is below par).

Good

Its an older hotel that needs refurbishment, but ok overall for a 4 star. Don’t expect luxury though. End of season is not great if you are looking for some peace and quiet as the beach is full of kids and 60+. So if its a couples retreat you are looking for, better find another hotel. Other than that i was happy with the service. Gym is small but very well equipped. Food ok, could be better.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Great fitness center for weights, though make sure you bring your towel and check the hours!

Nice family friendly hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Aurora hotel. The food is amazing. Walking paths along the seashore are nice for family with strollers. They give you a map of all the hiking tracks at the reception. Biking or hiking is a must if you're there in spring or autumn.

Location, location, location!

The hotel and room were very clean. Croatia is an amazingly beautiful place. For the price, I was expecting better service and higher food quality. Breakfast was good, dinner was just ok. There were a few individuals who delivered high quality and even outstanding service, but in general, the service was not great and most employees looked like they were not happy to be there. The hotel had an activity schedule for sports and group exercise, but we stopped trying to attend these sessions after going to a couple where no representative from the hotel showed up to coordinate.

Beautiful nature, ample good food

An excellent choice for the price (in late September) with great food for booth breakfast and dinner. But by all means try to get a table on the terrace for both meals, since to sit inside is like a communal canteen. The terrace on the other hand is surrounded by pine trees and has beautiful views of the beach.

A Great Place to Relax

This is the third time at this hotel. We take demi-pension - the food is fantastic. We enjoy taking walks along the shoreline and it is a short distance into Mali Losiinj, a very pretty town.

This hotel is a cheap try to be a Wellness hotel. No charm, cheap furniture... example of mass turism.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful view

This was a great hotel! There was plenty to do on site, some for a fee. There is entertainment and/or dancing on the patio every night. The buffet is amazing, both for dinner and breakfast, well worth the money. The a-la-carte restaurants are ok but I would stick with the buffet or head into town for dinner (Boca Vera.) True to Croatia the wait staff are slow and do not check back with you. This takes a bit of adjusting coming from the US. They were polite enough, just absent. The rooms are clean and attractive. The inside of the rooms are a tad simple, but that is compensated for with the view. Ask for a water-side balcony. It is sooo worth it. I do suggest for any hotel in Croatia that you pack your own pillow. They seem to like them hard in Croatia. This isn't a criticism, just a caution: The hotel has a lot of stairs to get to the beach and it is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the center of town. The walk back is up hill. Therefore I do not recommend this hotel unless you are at least moderately fit. If your room is on the first floor, there isn't an elevator to that floor, just a 1/2 flight of stairs. You will be in even better shape after your stay. You can always relax and recover in their spa area which is very impressive. If I didn't plan to travel the world I would come back to this hotel again and again.

Nice family and wellness hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with 2 small children. The food, the beds and room were very good. The kids had a separate bedroom. The water in the pools could have been a little warmer and the TV programms did disappear from time to time. Great playground just 300m away (in front of Vespera Hotel). Great for walks along the coast.

be careful whne choosing

the hotel is nice but we bought room on a sea side, thinking we would be able to see the sea, and our balcony was looking towards the roof of some side restaurant. very disappointing. we tried to change the room but the receptionist has obviously dealt with this problem many times and had right answer, this is sea side and not sea view room. when we wanted to change the room she told nothing is available and actually not many rooms have sea view. hotel is nice and clean but it is far away form 4 stars hotels, we have seen much nicer in Croatia. such a pity as this is one of the most beautiful islands in Adriatic sea.

Aurora - Beautiful

I was very impressed with this hotel. The view of the sea was spectacular, the seaside activities were great. It is a nice walk into town, but take a cab back (uphill). I can't wait to go back.

Hotel Aurora Losinj: too noisy night music events

Despite its marvellous location amidst Aleppo pine trees, we could not enjoy the hotel because the whole bay was polluted by noisy music events from the Aurora hotel, or the neighbouring Vespera hotel. No way of resting or sleeping before midnight or even later. It a shame that the hotel management does not care about such a reckless noise pollution. Everybody who wants a rest should avoid this hotel, and the neighbour hotel Vespera.

Top Hotel, schöne Lage in der Bucht, herlicher Ausblick, freundliches Personal, für die größe genügend Parkplätze vorhanden, Ausflüge mit dem Schiff ganz einfach über das Hotel gebucht. Wir werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen.

Wir waren in den letzten Jahren oft in der Gegend in den anderen Hotels dieser Kette und immer sehr zufrieden (Vespera, Punta). Hierbei handelt es sich um ein sauberes Hotel in bester Lage mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitms Personal, gutem Essen. Was uns gleich bei der Anreise aufgefallen ist: stark gekühlte Räumlichkeiten im Verhältnis zur Außentemperatur (Lobby, Hotelgänge) Trotz beworbenen gratis Parkplätzen kaum Parkmöglichkeit, außer man stellt sein Auto 1km vom Hotel entlang der Straße ab. Oberhalb des Hotels befindet sich ein Parkplatz, der "Für Gäste des Hotels Aurora" beschildert ist und die meiste Zeit fast leer ist - auf Anfrage bei der Rezeption hieß es "ja, das ist unser Privatparkplatz, für €6/Nacht" - ist nicht viel, entspricht jedoch nicht der Hotelbeschreibung

Speisen sehr gut, aber leider fast kalt, Speiseteller auch kalt. Toiletten im Strandbereich sehr unhygienisch und desolat und defekt, kein WC Papier und keine Reinigung! Meer Zugang ist super!

Nettes Hotel. Gutes vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet. Indoorpool war schön, da es geregnet hat und dieser beheizt war. Zimmer sind geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Wir sind mit Kleinkind gereist. Babybett gab es für 8€ extra pro Tag. In ca. 20min fussmarsch kann man in die Stadt laufen.

Bella struttura in riva al mare, soprattutto per famiglie, con numerosi servizi. Spiagge belle e mare fantastico con tanti pesci che fanno compagnia durante il bagno. Come sempre gli ospiti fanno la differenza e non mancano gli spargitori di asciugamani dalle prime ore dell’alba ad occupare lettini e ombrelloni.

Das Personal im Restaurant langsam, unterbesetzt oder nicht für die Arbeit motiviert. Die benutzte Geschirr wurde längst nicht vom Tisch genommen, die benutzte Esstische wurden nicht für die nächsten Gäste rechtzeitig vorbereitet. Aus diesem Grund wurde beim Abendessen manchmal schwierig eine freie Platz im Restaurant zu finden. Einige von Personal wandern Ziellos über das Restaurant, erscheinend ohne Lust oder Interesse auf Arbeit zu haben. Großes Lob an die Mannschaft aus der Küche für die Vorbereitung sehr leckeren Essens.

Schöne Badebucht unmittelbar beim Hotel. Leider sehr kleines Pool. Die Zimmer schon sehr abgewohnt.

Traumurlaub!

Die Inseln Cres und Losinj sind einzigartig an der oberen Adria. Ich werde diese wunderschöne Destination sicher weiter empfehlen.

Ein erholsamer Urlaub

Das Frühstück war sehr gut: es schmeckte wunderbar, die Auswahl war grüß. Das Hallenbad ist im September eine gute Ergänzung zum Meer. Die Lage (Strandnähe, Pinienwald) ist optimal.

Endroit magnifique! Repas bon. Manque de rigueur à l’entrée du restaurant sur le nombre de personnes dans le restaurant et l’hygiène des mains des clients en cette période covid tout comme dans l’hôtel vespera bruit la nuit jusqu’à très tôt le matin, lavabo bouché, location de vélo pas possible l’après midi des 13h30, Spa très bien c’est notre 2ème séjour et y retournerons une autres fois avec plaisir si les points mentionnés seront améliorés, île de Cres est magnifique

Top Destination vor den Ferien

Das Personal war vor allem im Hotelbetrieb unheimlich freundlich; der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel, der extra zu bezahlen war, wurde dann auch von einem anderen Gast benutzt, worauf sich örtliche Einschränkungen ergaben. Das Zimmer eher klein, aber für 3 Tage ausreichend, Klimaanlage TOP! Frühstücksbuffet TOP: lässt keine Wünsche offen Baden: es gibt einen kleinen Standartstrand (Schirme und Liegen), entlang der Felsenküste sind zwar immer wieder Stufen und Flächen betoniert , dass mann sogar 2 Liegen und einen Sonnenschirm aufstellen kann (rechtzeitig reservieren/besetzen). Das Meer ist überall ein Traum...kristallklar und türkisblau, Badeschuhe unter Umständen empfehlenswert

Отель очень устал. Его надо реновировать. Номера в ужасном состоянии. На 4 звезды отель не тянет ни при каких условиях. Как он получил 92 бала я не понимаю.

Struttura a dir poco eccellente. Abbiamo soggiornato in due coppie di amici e siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti della sincera cortesia di tutto il personale, della ristorazione superba sia nella varietà che nella qualità, della pulizia riscontrata nelle camere ed in tutta la struttura. Siamo peraltro stati fortunati perchè l'hotel era quasi al completo ma assolutamente vivibili e l'adiacente hotel Vespera era chiuso quindi abbiamo goduto della spiaggia e dei servizi senza l'affollamento. Mare antistante all'hotel mozzafiato è una delle cale più belle dell'isola contornata da una meravigliosa pineta ed abbiamo goduto al rientro dalla spiaggia di una piscina idromassaggio all'aperto con vista mare. Consigliatissimo a tutti ed adatto alle famiglie con bambini.

Mi è piaciuta la gentilezza e la disponibilità di tutto il personale, camere belle, cena e colazione superlative, disponibilità ombrelloni. Non mi son piaciute tanto tutte le scale per arrivare al mare...per chi non è allenato o ha un minimo di problemi a deambulare, non sono proprio il massimo. Consiglierei un ascensore o un tapiroulant per giungere a quel mare meraviglioso che c'è lì davanti.

Il prezzo è eccessivo x quello che offre. Le camere sono datate, soprattutto i bagni. Ha molti servizi ma al check in nessuno ci ha dato informazioni xció non sapevo dell’esistenza del minigolf, di una seconda piscina (che non è nel blocco centrale) ecc. Quando ho chiesto per gli ombrelloni in spiaggia mi hanno detto che non era assolutamente possibile ‘prenorarli’ mettendo l’asciugamano, cosa che trovo giustissima, peccato che lo fanno tutti e nessuno controlla nulla! Sono riuscita ad usufruirne solo 1 giorno su 3 (la metà degli ombrelloni in prima fila sono rimasti senza nessuno ma con gli asciugamani stesi). Il personale della reception è stato disponibile mentre quello del ristorante non molto! Dopo la prima colazione ho deciso di non prenotare la cena in hotel. Colazione davvero varia, c’è di tutto ma di bassa qualità. Il ristorante in spiaggia è dispendioso ma ottimo!

Hotel je na predivnoj lokaciji izmedju borova u prekrasnoj Suncanoj uvali. Prelijepe setnice i priroda. Hrana je bila vrlo raznovrsna za svakoga ponesto. Hotel mozda i treba renoviranje jer 4 zvjezdice pomalo starinski djeluje. Relativno uredno. Osoblje u restoranu pomalo nezainteresirano i bez puno smjeska.

U Hotelu Aurora uvijek se dobro odmorimo .Često dolazimo u Mali Lošinj ,naime volimo duge šetnje a nema boljeg mjesta za to.Svaki puta odhodamo minimalno 20 kilometara,a nakon dobre večere plivanje u bazenu i masaže u jakuziju osijećamo se preporođeni.

Um 07 00 Uhr in det sehr lautes Geschirrwagerl durcj den Gang. Die wecken jeden auf. Dampfbad funktioniert immer nur eines- dann wird umgeschalten und das andere ist kalt. Viel zu wenig Liegen im Wellnessbereich.

La struttura è in un luogo stupendo in pineta e prospicente al mare. Affiancata da lunghi sentieri pedonali per passeggiare e fare sport all'aperto.

Obiteljsko putovanje provedeno u hotelu "Aurora",u predivnom kraju(ljepota prirode,mora),okolici(voznja bicuklima,setnje uokolo),posjet muzejima),osoblje u hotelu izuzetno srdacno i poslovno...a dorucak(nocenje sa doruckom)....nismo znali sto bi odabrali za jesti!!! Sehr schöne Lage, alles sehr sauber. Personal großteils freundlich. Der grosse Speisesaal erinnert an die 60er Jahre.

Massen-Pauschaltouristenhotel an guter Lage

Das Hotel beherbergt, so wie ich das beurteilen kann, viele Pauschaltouristen mit entsprechender Atmosphäre. Die Anlage ist soweit gut unterhalten, allerdings merkt man ihr die Jahre schon an. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet soweit alles was es braucht.Der Esssaal gleicht einer riesigen Kantine, nicht wirklich sehr gemütlich. Der Strand wäre soweit ganz nett, nur völlig überfüllt mit Liegestühlen, so dass hier kaum Ruhe und Erholung möglich ist. Die Poolanlage hingegen ist sehr schön.

È la terza volta che torniamo a Lussino e all’hotel Aurora durante il ns.periodo di ferie ad agosto Questo già dimostra il ns. gradimento La struttura è ottima, le camere sono spaziose e ben accessoriate (perfettamente pulite e ben insonorizzate) La posizione è perfetta sia per l’affaccio diretto al mare, in corrispondenza della baia di Velj Zal, che per la vicinanza con la città di Mali Losinj, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, in auto, con trenino o taxi La colazione e la cena sono ottime e abbondanti (buffet) sia per la qualità dei cibi che per la varietà Siamo innamorati di Lussino Il mare è stupendo e la natura anche Si possono praticare numerosi sport, fare gite per tutta l’isola e nel piccolo arcipelago

Seppur ben tenuto non posso che constatare che la struttura è vetusta ed antica, necessita un restyling urgente. Per quanto riguarda invece i servizi della Spa e del personale il mio giudizio è ECCEZIONALE!!!

Wenig Platz zum Gebäck ausladen, super Essen, sehr schöner Strand

Fuori dal paese, molto tranquillo, sul mare, attrezzato per tutto il necessario. Cibo al ristorante abbondante e vario, personale di sala molto cortese e organizzato. Sarebbe bello poter fruire della cena oltre le 21, per poter stare di più al mare nel pomeriggio.

Struttura di buon livello, sostanzialmente pulita e con diversi buoni sevizi. Ottima la posizione e l'ampia selezione di cibo e bevande sia a colazione che a cena e notevole la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale alla reception. Da migliorare la cottura del pesce(troppo troppo cotto) e l'atteggiamento di qualche addetto di sala scontroso e dai modi poco gentili. L'edificio avrebbe comunque bisogno di manutenzione e ristrutturazione almeno interna a 360°.

Altes Hotel. Speisesaal ist wie eine Betriebskantine, Tische stehen alle extrem eng zusammen. Eine totale Massenabfertigung.

Posizione magnifica immersa nella pineta e molto tranquilla. Buffet della colazione e della cena con vasto assortimento, prodotti di qualità ed ottima preparazione. Difficoltà di parcheggio e numero limitato di lettini/ombrelloni.

Sehr freundliches Personal, ausgezeichnetes und umfangreiches Essen, schönes sauberes Zimmer. Tolle Aussicht auf Meer. FKK Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe, geringe Gebühr, dsmit sber mit Liegen und Schirm. Dieses Hotel kann man auf alle Fälle weiter empfehlen.

Die Hotelanlage sehr schön gelegen. Das Essen super, alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Abendessen ist für meine Begriffe um 19:00 Uhr zu spät angesetzt.

Die Unterkunft war sehr in Ordnung. Leider hat man in der Bar meistens nur 1 Getränk bekommen ein zweites Mal wurden wir nicht mehr gefragt ob wir noch etwas zu trinken wollen.

Položaj hotela do mora, na plaži besplatne ležaljke i suncobrani, hrana u restoranu vrhunska, osoblje također... Topla preporuka za ponovni posjet.

Kratki predah

Hrana je bila odlicna, ona nas se najvise dojmila. Zatvoreni bazeni su sa morskom vodom sto je super ali njihova velicina je nezadovoljavajuca, postoji dobar izbor sauna. Lokacija hotela je odlicna. Veliki plus su blizina plaze, lezaljke, koristenje rucnika i torbe za plazu. Ostali smo razocarani s sobom (pogledom iz sobe), platili smo skuplju sobu koja je na strani okrenutoj prema moru misleci da cemo imati s terase pogled na more kroz borovu sumu, na zalost imali smo pogled na teniske terene i sumu. Sve u svemu, boravak nam je bio ugodan i lijep.

Für alle Ruhesuchenden perfekt. Waren schon das 2. Mal da. Das nächste Mal würden wir aber wieder in der Nebensaison buchen, da es in den Sommerferien viel zu voll war. Der Essenssaal glich einer Kantine und es war sehr laut. Der Pool war überfüllt, am Meer alles belegt und es waren sehr viele Kinder da.

Sehr freundliches Personal und tolles Ambiente

Sehr schöne Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch Abendessen wahren sehr vielfältig und abwechslungsreich. Lädiglich Zimmergrösse und Badezimmerzustand lässt noch etwas Raum für Verbesserung. Dies könnte allerdings durch tadellose Sauberkeit und liebevolle Mühe und Freundlichkeit des Reinigungsperonals sehr schnel ausgeblendet werden. Solide 4 Sterne !

Ich und meine Familie waren sehr zufriden. Essen war sehr lecker,liess keine Wünsche offen. Unser Zimmer wurde gut gepflegt. Natur,Meer,Sonne pur! Danke für erholsame Tage!

Very nice hotel with half board located in the pine tree forest close to the sea with several pools and many activities.

Paradiso nel profumo di resina e salsedine

Posizione direttamente sul mare, all'interno di una pineta secolare, con passeggiate salutari fra resina e salsedine.

Ottima posizione, cucina molto buonae varia, buona spa ( anche se la biosauna è fuori servizio da almeno 2anni ,ci siamo stati anche nel 2017),personale gentile e professionale, le bibite a cena potrebbero essere meno care. Da consigliare

Hotel molto grande, adiacente a spiaggia naturale situata in un’insenatura molto bella; per gli ospiti dell’hotel ombrellone e lettini gratis, anche se non sono disponibili moltissimi posti. Ottimo punto di partenza per giri in bici che consentono di raggiungere velocemente altre spiagge e calette dell’isola. Le bici si possono noleggiare in loco. Il ristorante interno all’hotel è un buffet self service di buona qualità e offre una grande variatà di cibo, anche a colazione.
