Excellent!
Excellent choice
Superb location. Beautiful hotel. Comfortable, spacious and clean room. Lovely shower! Staff were friendly, English speaking and very helpful. My room was on the Saint Germain side so great street watching with windows open!! Felt like a Parisian! Directly across the street from famous Brasseries.
Staff was extremely helpful Breakfast spread was wonder and great coffee Will stay again in one week
Loved the hotel, it was so beautiful and a great location. The 2 nighttime concierges were so kind and helpful. They both gave us great locations to go out and were both so nice.
Lovely hôtel, perfect location
The hotel is a gem and our room was quite comfortable, with great AC. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with a variety of fresh food and juices, starting at 7:30am. The location is extremely convenient with lots of shops and cafes, and Metro and bus stops literally steps away. You can get everywhere easily. And the Église de Saint-Germain-des-Pres across the street is not to be missed. Our thanks to the wonderful staff. We would definitely return.
Loved everything about it :) location is amazing!!
This property worked great for our stay. A 5-minute walk from dining and shopping options. The staff was friendly and eager to assist as needed. The rooftop bar was a pleasant surprise, offering great dining and sunset views of the city.
I was very pleased with the size of the room, with fully functioning air conditioning and a nice size bed with a twin bed option. The Hotel provided most anything one would want. The Hotel breakfast was reasonably price and excellent. Also the night clerk (Mr. Aenr (?)) was very helpful with advice and obtaining car services for us to Versailles and to the airport. All in all a very pleasant experience.
Incredible time here!
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very nice. Clean rooms, quiet hallways! I would return
Beautiful property, very clean and friendly staff. Location is unbeatable as well as the feeling of old Paris. Will definitely coming back!
Everything was easy around the hotel
A gem of a hotel in the heart of St Germaine de Pres! The staff was lovely, the room large enough with a king sized comfortable bed. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo with a rain shower head and extra long and deep tub - great water pressure. While our room faced the avenue, it was pin drop quiet with the windows closed. We will return!
Excellent location in St. Germain
My 2 daughters (20 & 24hrs) & I stayed here & loved it. Our room was great! Quiet & charming & perfect for the 3 of us. Loved the location - we walked everywhere! Lots of ding options close by as well. This hotel was wonderful for the price. Will definitely stay there again.
Such a great location with a street view of Cafe du Flor. The area has easy access to the metro and taxis. The staff was incredibly helpful.
Great location
Great locations for family, close to food and walking to underground.
location
It was amazing trip with my children i love the area
Tre bien
Wonderful hosts- great location and loved the cafe next door, Louise! Hotel was quiet and conveniently close to everything. Would absolutely stay again!!
Perfectly situated in a fun and interesting area
Perfect location
Great stay
Great, trundle bed big enough for an adult so was perfect.
The staff was awesome highly recommend this area
This hotel is in a lively, convenient location. The room was spacious by Paris standards, was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.
Perfect location for Paris exploration. Nice room, helpful staff.
Perfect location in St Germain area
This was the last hotel of my stay in Paris (I hopped around while in Europe) and this hotel was my favorite of my vacation. I had a long travel day the day before and when my room was ready before official check in, I was allowed to check in which made a world of a difference in my day. It was one less thing to think about and I was able to spend all day out and about. My room was clean, comfortable and chic and the hotel itself was in close proximity to a lot. I only stayed two days but I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I’d absolutely love to stay in this hotel in the future.
The location is great, the staff are good and hotel is a bit old even though there are multiple renovation such in bathrooms and AC The breakfast place is cute and good However the internet is very bad and rooms need a bit make over Small kids beds are too flimsy Overall We recommend it
great spot
Quiet hotel in an excellent location. Smaller rooms, but typical for the area. Excellent shower. Very friendly staff.
Great!
Great location however the photos on website look a lot nicer than hotel is in real life.
right across Café de Flore. However, we booked 3 nights for 3 person. Out of 2 nights, we only got 2 sets of towels. The elevator was very tiny. Sometime have to wait long time.
We loved everything at the hotel. We will stay there again on our next trip to Paris
Excellent staff
Pretty building, nice staff. Nice amenities pretty breakfast room, although breakfast wasn’t great considering the many choices right outside. Located in prime area. Too noisy and a/c wasn’t turned on. Had to open French door to balcony which increased the noise. Had to climb into deep bathtub for shower which I thought was dangerous. No bar to hold on.
The hotel was very centrally located for what we needed. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.
A little gem of a hotel in central Paris, close to host of tourist spots, with easy Metro links across the City. Well appointed accommodation, good buffet breakfast and good restaurants close by. Just like good quality small hotels used to be with friendly yet inobtrusive service from knowledgeable and polite staff.
nothing like a view out the window of Café de Flore and the Les Deux Magots, (although I must mention the hotdog sandwich at the Le Bonaparte is fabulous), rooms excellent size
Great place and great location. My only issue is the bathrooms are not handicap friendly.
The area and location is outstanding, a little noisy, elevator broke down for half a day.
Exceeded expectations
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was charming, clean and it was in the perfect location. The room faced Boulevard Saint-Germain, so it was a bit noisy, but I didn’t mind that and I sleep with ear plugs, so it had no effect. The shower was perfect in controls and size, but the toilet was in a very small space. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Friendly staff, excellent location and we will be back.
Right in the heart of Paris this hotel is close to everything. Clean, quiet and great staff.
Front desk lady was superb
It was in a great location; close to cafes, walking distance to sightseeing places. It was clean and staff was very helpful. Truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel
Friendly
N.
The location was very good, but I give this hotel 3* only. The staff is very friendly.
Would definitely stay here again
The location was superb - close to major attractions, on an iconic boulevard and with a taxi rank right outside! The hotel itself is beautiful, all the details were superb. Even the bathroom facilities - often a bit tricky - were the best we've seen in many years of travelling the world. Congratulations to the team who make this possible. The staff were exceptional too - friendly, courteous and helpful.
Hôtel Au Manoir St-Germain des Prés was a very good value in the center of most Paris restaurants, fashionable shops and many historical sites. The front desk was very accommodating and helpful. Their willingness to assist in English was stellar. It is a boutique hotel and has the charm of a yesteryear property (a fully immersed soak in the tub is a fabulous cure for touring aches-and-pain) with modern amenities.
The location was perfect. Our room was a little small, but we weren’t in our room much! There is so much to experience—especially in this neighborhood. Les Deux Magots was on one of the corners. The Seine and Louvre are in walking distance. There are many great places to eat in St. Germain des Pres.
Great location in the Latin Quarter. The staff is very friendly and room are nicely appointed with modern bathrooms.
Great!
Great place to stay in Paris..centrally located to walk to Louve, Eiffel Tower, Luxenberg gardens and more. Service was excellent!
Large Rooms by Parisian Standards
Great location and rooms are really large by Parisian standards! Would come back for sure.
Comfortable, welcoming stay in ideal location
This was my fourth time staying in this hotel. Room was a good size, bed was very comfortable, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the location cannot be beat!
Clean, comfortable, and convieniently located!
This booking was last minute. The location is great, very safe and near a metro, restaurants. The hotel itself is a fading beauty. The rooms are neat and clean but could use an update-think interior decorating based on the Brady Bunch. The air conditioning was a life saver! The internet was sketchy....
Love love love hotel Au Manoir de Prés!
We LOVED hotel Au Manoir! This is an incredible location, so accessible to the subway and many parts of the city. I can’t say enough how friendly, kind and helpful the staff are- from helping with airport transfers, to printing out louvre tickets, to excellent restaurant recommendations- we felt very much at home here. The rooms were nice, the beds massive, very quiet despite being in a busy neighborhood. I would love to stay here again!
Great location in St Germain. Overlooking the famous Cafes Flore and Deux Maggots. Rooms small. Virtually no lobby to wait for colleagues
The staff are wonderful, helpful and truly want to make your stay enjoyable. There are many wonderful restaurants and shopping in walking distance as well as the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. I would highly recommend staying here! We had a wonderful experience!!
Comfortable in s great location
This is a very comfortable hotel in an older traditional style.
Great location with friendly helpful staff. Rooms are small but lovely.
Excellent location, friendly staff.
Very pretty hotel in central Paris.
Enjoy the posh street hotel
Great location with so much to explore! Yes we would stay in this comfortable hotel again!
Liked the central location to restaurants, shops and travel. The room was sort of on the darker side when it comes to lighting. Very good services.
Centrally located, right next door to Cafe Lipp and across the street from Cafe du Flor. Very walkable to the Norte Dame and the Louve. Three star hotel. Clean and comfortable.
Location was perfect. In spite of being on Blvd. St. Germaine, the room was very quiet.
Excellent hotel, excellent location and adorable accommodation.
Lovely Hotel in Great Area
Lovely old hotel with spacious rooms for reasonable rates in a great area. Very clean, staff friendly and helpful. A good breakfast was available for 15 euros, cheeses, meats, selection of breads, crepes, eggs, cereal, fruits and yogurt. Bath tubs are very high so some difficulty getting in and out.
Central Location
Close to all the legendary restaurants, Cafe de Florence, Cafe Le Deux Magots, Relais de l’entrecote and so much more. Spacious bedroom. Would’ve loved to stay longer.
Great location and nice staff. The bathroom was very small. Would recommend because if it’s great location just across Le Cafe les 2 Magit’s and next to Lipp restaurant and Cafe Louise. The concierge Sarkisse was very helpful!!! Would recommend for couples. The elevator broke while we were there but the staff got it fixed very rapidly. Overall 4 on 5.
Nice hotel. Great location
Hotel is surrounded by cafes and restaurants and on side streets and across from the metro. 10 minute walk to siene and close the attractions by the siene. Stayed on 4th floor overlooking st. Germain. Great view. Windows open up. Felt very European. Didnt have breakfast in hotel as wanted to experence all the cafes in the area
This is a small Hotel but everything in Paris is small. Front desk was always friendly and kind. Our room was nice the bed was too soft. Good location with a market right around the corner of the hotel.
bad service, cleanliness
We arrived booked by Expedia in a late afternoon, unfortunately that reservation did not include our young child. They immediately asked us for an extra charge for a bigger room, we paid the extra charge for the full length of our stay. At check out there was another bill with more extra charges requested by another front desk person plus breakfast that we never took. They rudely asked us to pay it at check out when we had a plane to catch, We asked for a taxi to the airport they wanted to over charge the flat rat by 20euros. It was constantly about running for more money because it was an Expedia pre-paid and non refundable booking. Rooms are not clean, people are not helpful at all. Stay away from that hotel there may be many other better around.
It was absolutely amazing! The staff was superb, the hotel was lovely. We'll be there again next year!
Nice traditional Parisian boutique Hotel
Well located for Saint Germain area. Its on the main road which is pretty busy one with both pedestrians and cars. Staff were helpful and polite. Rooms were pleasant and clean and the food was nice at breakfast however i was a bit disappointed to have to pay extra for this which i was only told after i had eaten. maybe it was my fault for not reading my booking properly....But hey by then I was that used to every one helping them selves to my money i just gave it up....(Paris is ridiculously expensive for food and drinks, I'm in no rush to go back, I can't afford it)....but as i said hotel was pretty good I thought.
Btilliant location, clean comfortable hotel
This hotel is in an excellent location. The hotal staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were excellent
Great location but needs a good thorough cleaning!
The location was great. Front desk staff friendly. The television in my bedroom was broken my entire stay. Asked for it to be fixed and it never was. The room looked a lot sunnier and more cheerful on the site than in person. The painted closet doors in the bedroom were filthy and in need of a deep cleaning - wished I had those Mr Clean sponges to wipe down the room. The water pressure was fantastic and the location was one of the best in St Germain...
handy location
a lovely hotel at a reasonable price in a central location.Would stay again.
RATING IS WAY TOO HIGH
I am confused on why this hotel has a good rating. This hotel is in poor condition. It is old and smells old. There were dead bugs in my bathtub. The wifi connection was spotty. I come to Paris 6x year for business and would never stay here again. The only plus is the location. It is close to good restaurants and shopping.
Ideal position
Vey pleasant and enjoyable stay. No restaurant or bar facilities unfortunately. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay. Room superb.
Nice hotel perfectly situated St-Germain des Pres
Staff and hotel amenities just as accommodating as our first stay.
Lovely, comfortable hotel
This hotel is very conveniently located in the St. Germain de Pres area, with several lovely cafes within striking distance, good shopping, markets, and tourist sights all within walking distance. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and accommodating.
Towels could have been of a slightly superior quality ; also they were on the small side. A complimentary bottle of water would have been appreciated.
Very nice hotel, close to everything !!
Stayed six nights, traveling solo and had a fantastic stay. Aziz and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was ok but everything else made up for it and I would go to the neighboring cafes if that is the experience that I wanted. Overall I am extremely pleased and would recommend staying at this precious hotel to all my friends, family and clients! The location is absolutely perfect!! Merci a tout!!
Good location but that is where it ends!
Elevator out for 16 hours and hotel didn't consider it an emergency. Room 504 is very small and awful with 4 stairs down to the bathroom and a high tub w shower but no curtain. Electrical outlets are under tables that don't move and one has to get on floor to plug in anything. Personnel w flat affects.
A very good place to stay in Saint-Germain
Location is superb: Brasserie Lipp next door (literally), Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots - cross the street. My room on the second (French first) floor was small but comfortable (not too small, compare with a usual Parisian hotel room ), facing the back yard (quiet). Staff was polite and spoke fluent English. Bathtub, shower, all worked well. Writing desk, armchairs, even the electrical outlets and switches - were all user-friendly. The price was quite logical. All in all - one of the best stays in Paris I've ever had.
Good, small hotel with great location in Paris.
Great hotel, fabulous neighborhood. A bit of sprucing up would help. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Our room was very comfortable, a bit small. It was in bad need of a better cleaning job. One of the days, there was no maid service at all. It was either a Sat. or a Sun. Too expensive.
Great location and value
Great and convenient hotel. The bat tub was dirty, and the light fixtures had cobwebs when we arrived and the mattress was a little lumpy. But everything else was wonderful
Lovely hotel in the heart of St. Germaine
The room was large by European standards. The staff was friendly and made great recommendations. Would definitely stay there again!
Fantastic location and good sized room with a view
Lovely hotel in the affluent Saint Germaine de Pres area. Decent sized rooms Amazing bath with overhead shower and hand held shower. Really comfortable bed. Hotel was very quiet and we only saw 1 other guest. Amazing location opposite Cafe De Flore and Les Deux Magots. 5 min walk to lovely restaurants . Train station right outside. We had a good stay, and a good rest after each days exploring Paris. Only small negative was every morning the Bin men were noisily emptying the streets bins from 7am onwards which did disturb us.
It was a perfect hotel in a perfect location!
It was perfect for street viewing, accessibility to markets, shops, cafes. It was walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame.
Love this hotel
Great room, location and staff. Stay here, you will love it!
Great location average hotel
Location was excellent, hotel experience and room were very sub par.
Near to shops and amenities
Great location - with helpful and friendly staff. We have stayed at this hotel before and re-booked. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Lovely room but it was very dusty and the windows and net curtains badly needed a clean.
Watch for them switching rooms on you.
Booked a Superior Room and put in a deluxe - Inside facing the dilapidated back of the building Told this was an upgrade - way to tired from flying through the night to argue but sure enough the Expedia booking says its a superior.
Perfectly placed hotel near to saint germain metro. Very smart area of Paris. hotel staff very helpful and a delight to have stayed here.
Perfect Parisian Hotel with Great Staff!
The service was excellent! Very friendly staff, with great recommendations for the area. The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious. Our room was very nice too.
Great stay!
We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful neighborhood, close to everything. Very helpful staff and comfortable/clean room.
This was such a nice little boutique hotel. My wife and I loved just going out to stroll around the area. Whether we wanted to walk up to the river, over to the Louvre, to the train station to go to the Eiffel tower, or just shop... it was all easily accessible. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
