For the very touristy seaside town it was ideally situated in a quiet street. Price was reasonable compared to others in the same area. Staff very helpful. Would use it again in the future.

Great location, friendly service, clean rooms and wholesome breakfast. Internet connection was not good.

Hotel left behind in the last century...

The hotel rooms are simple and good enough to sleep but provide no comfort if you need to work in the room. Everything is a bit old but clean. The breakfast is decent. One recurring issue appears to be payment during check out. When I stayed a few months earlier, they asked me to pay and I had to proof that I paid in advance at that time. This time, the same happened to a friend and others reported similar issues. My check-out took about 20min because I wanted to pay with a credit card and adding the 1.5% fee was a major hassle. Otherwise, everybody is very friendly. WiFi was good enough for me.

Fun in the Nederland

Everything was nice. Wish there was more clarification on how far the pool was away from hotel. It was a ten- fifteen min walk to another hotel.

Nice little hotel

Nice hotel in a nice area. Breakfast was ok but a bit basic. Ate in the local restaurants which were priced normally and the food was decent. Area is clean and people are friendly.

Quiet location, amenities close by

I stayed here while attending a training programme that took place in the village. The location is nice and quiet - pretty much a residential area, and only a 5 minute walk to the shopping area, and 8 minutes to the beautiful beach.

Simple and hassle-free accommodation

Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly adequate and clean room, if a little dated in style. Good, straightforward WiFi connection. Breakfast was very good, and the serve yourself orange juicer was a nice touch. The bathroom, with a walk-in shower, was fine, though the motion detector-driven switch in there was maybe a little too eager to turn the light off after a few seconds if there wasn't enough movement! The hotel's in a quiet residential area, but it's only a 10 minute walk to the centre of town and promenade. I've stayed there before, and would definitely stay there again.

Close to seafront and all important points

I stayed in Astoria when I was visiting ESTEC for a week, and they are clearly familiar with other guests in the same situation. My room was clean and everything worked perfectly (shower etc). I can't comment on the quality of breakfast because it starts at 8am and my daily schedule meant I didn't really have enough time to eat breakfast. The beach is around a 5-10 minute walk, as is the nearest supermarket and generally everything else you look for in a town centre.

The room was tiny and fairly noisy. However, it's all ok, the personnel is kind, and the hotel has an excellent breakfast included in the price. So all in all, I'd come again.

Op zich een wat verouderd hotel ,krakende vloeren ,verouderde kamers, geen airco, warm in de zomer, wel goed ontbijt,vriendelijk personeel.makkelijk parkeren en een goede fietsvoorziening

Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss. Es war sauber aber etwas klein. Das Bad hatte kein Fenster zum Öffnen und die Toilette war für große Personen nicht benutzbar, weil zu wenig Platz zur Wand davor war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, mit viel Auswahl. Eine weitere Auswahl an Kaffee und Cappuccino wurde auf Anfrage vom Personal zubereitet. Parken konnte man im eigenen Hof sowie in der fußläufig gut erreichbaren Tiefgarage (beides kostenpflichtig). Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig und in wenigen Gehminuten war man an der Promenade oder in der Fußgängerzone. Alles in Allem ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt.

alles bekommen was wir bezahlt haben , kein Luxus aber völlig ok ----Luxus kostet auch viel mehr ....für unsere 2Tage Aufenthalt super in Ordnung . Parkmöglichkeit fussläufig in Tiefgarage --nicht direkt im Hotel --aber kurze Wege .

Das Hotel ist ok. Das Zimmer war groß, könnte aber etwas moderner gestaltet werden. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Etwas mehr Strandnähe wäre schön gewesen. Die Stadt ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Leider schließen die Geschäfte schon um 18.00 Uhr.

Hotel Noordwijk aan zee

De lokatie was goed te bereiken. Vond het jammer dat zwembad en sauna niet op lokatie aanwezig waren. De afstand tot de zee vond ik zeer positief.

Prima ontvangst, parkeren goed geregeld en niet duur. Ontbijt uitstekend, grote kamer. Heerlijk verblijf.

Wir waren zum dritten mal dort. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, der Speiseraum gefällt uns sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbufett ist ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Die Lage ist zentral.

Im Großen und Ganzen ok. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer im EG, Nähe Aufzug und Rezeption. Das war etwas nervig. Frühstücksbuffet ist durchschnittlich, aber das ist oft in Holland so: Viel Verpackungsmüll, Dosenobst, zu weiches Brot. Aber sie mögen es scheinbar so. O-Saft konnte man sich selbst pressen, Daumen hoch.

Klein benauwd hokje voor 3 personen en betaal je dan nog 160,- voor! Niet ademende bedden. Alles is oud en gedateerd. Hadden raam open en alsnog benauwd hele nacht in kamer en geen oog dicht gedaan. Personeel was wel heel vriendelijk! 1e plaatje staat mooi zwembad .. maar is in ander hotel, kamer lijkt ook groter op internet. Misleidend.

Goed waren de bedden en kamer. Ontbijt matig. Beter koffieapparaat gebruiken. Tip:laat gasten niet zelf sinaasappel sap persen maar zet kan neer Parkeren is probleem en te duur

Die Lage war gut, die Zimmer sauber und in Ordnung, das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Die Parkmöglichkeiten lassen zu wünschen übrig, nach längerem suchen findet man aber etwas.

Nice location

Hotel under renovation durnig my stay which will definately makes the rooms nicer. Enough space and Wi-Fi available in the room to work. The breakfast was basic due to the low season, I guess. Parking lot availale. The room was cold and 2 blankets wre required duing the night.

Good for a short stay at Noordwijk aan Zee

The hotel is in walking distance from the large beach at Noordwijk aan zee. It offers slightly lower cost accommodation than the hotels at the beach. Unless you really want a beach view it is a good choice. The hotel does not have its own swimming pools as may be the impression from the published images. The Swimming pools/spa is at the Hotel van Oranje about 15 minutes walk. The hotel does however give you a voucher giving free entrance to the swimming pool. The beach also has a selection of restaurants and bars all within 10-20minutes walk from the hotel. There is a bar/restaurant at the hotel. I only used it for breakfast which was fine. Note the reception is not staffed 24hours, after 23:00 you enter using your room key card.
