This hotel is a step next to the shopping street which is very easy to dining and shopping. The room is small and we accepted for low price per night. They refurnished their lobby in a modern and hip design, and put a lot of instant drinks of coffee, green tea latte, chocolate etc in the lobby for guests to try which is a surprise. But their rooms did not refurnish and are still in old style, especially their TV signals are very bad, only a few channels can be watched, the Hotel AreaOne Oita should seriously refix this problem as this never happened in other Japanese hotels. For parking, it is advised to park the nearby public carpark a few walks from the hotel for 800 yen from 6pm to 8am, then 200yen per hour.

Basic business hotel

Basic hotel - staff very friendly. Breakfast choice very limited, room was ok, very small but bed comfortable. Very expensive for what it was but had no choice as here during rugby World Cup and everything else was booked.

Hotel is located in a good location, reception area is spacious and good if you have to hang around for check in. Hotel was clean and ammenities were good.

It did what it said on the tin

The hotel was basic but cheap. The location was convenient, being close (c. 10 minutes) to the station and other amenities. As a 3* hotel I would not complain.

Staff was friendly and helpful . Toilet and air conditioning were filthy (really mouldy) we paid 230 dollars for a night because they put the prices up for the rugby World Cup (which we accepted ) but for that price we would of liked to have a clean toilet. Other than that everything else was all good.

Can be cleaner, but not too bad

A bit small if you choose rooms with 2 beds. Breakfast is Japanese style but not bad for the room rate we got. Rooms can be cleaner, after I stayed in many local hotels in Japan.

Great location close to JR station and with friendly staff

The location of the hotel is good. We like Oita.

Oita is not so busy and crowded. It has the charm of a modern city with shopping malls yet the pace is slower and more relaxing. It is also near Yufuin which is a quaint town.

Great location. Near the station. The room is clean and comfortable.

Convenient hotel

We mainly stayed at this place as a stop over location. The front desk was very kind and accommodating with our needs. The only thing is that the room is a bit too small to fit two medium size luggages so we felt a bit cramped.

Convenient and clean hotel with lowest cost

The hotel price was very reasonable and probably the lowest among the area for a standard room with twin bed. Staff is very friendly and room is clean. Location is good enough which is quite near to the JR station.

Good location

We were looking for a place to stay near Beppu and ended up finding this place in Oita. Locationwise it was great, close to the station, restaurants and shops. The room was a smoking room, which was annoying because we dont smoke but we knew it beforehand. The staff spoke limited english but did their best and in the end we always got our message across both ways.

Value and convenience near Hakata station.

Good location. Very quiet. Competitive price. We booked a room for three but it was a bit of a squeeze. Very clean hotel but beds a little hard. However it was much better than another hotel we stayed at in tenjin which was stiflingly hot IN APRIL. Staff are lovely, location is very close to Hakata Station. Really appreciated nice free coffee in the morning.

Great Spot in Beautiful City Oita

Great little place about a 10 minute walk from Oita station. Check out Cafe Giraffe just around the corner. Great cappuccino and honey almond toast bread with ice cream. I enjoyed Beppu's Onsens (Myoban) but actually liked Oita the city a lot more. It's only about a 20 minute train ride to Beppu.

We had a very good stay. Helpful staff and clean hotel. Many restaurants nearby. Worth the money. Location is good, just nice to JR station.

駐車場案内の不適格、朝食レストランがあったが、チェックインの時点での説明等がなかった。朝利用しようとしたが、前日までに申し込むことと、室内の説明書に書いてああっただけで、チェックインの時に案内も説明なかったため、利用できなかった。全体的にスタッフの対応は良くない。誠意が全く感じられない対応であった。知人などへの紹介は絶対しないと思う。

大分市内では先ずこのホテルを確認します 府内、中央、都町への徒歩でのアクセスは抜群です ただ、私意て言えばエレベーターの揺れはちょっと驚きます

風呂トイレにカビによる汚れが目立ちました。ドアがスムーズに閉まりませんでした。スタッフの対応は良かったです。

部屋がとても明るく清潔で、スタッフの対応もよかった。 ベッドの枕元に、小さいライトがあればよかった。

駅近だし、デパート・ショッピングモールも近くにあるので便利でした。

繁華街き近いので、多少飲みすぎても歩いて帰れるのがいいです。

普通のビジネスホテルです。 古くて、風呂はあまり清潔感がなく部屋も一部に壁紙の剥がれがありました。 価格を考えるとこんな感じかと…。 ただ、駅からのアクセスが良く、スタッフの接客はとても良いです。

朝食の品数が多く満足できる。 デザートも5種類、飲み物も7種類ほどあった。 大分にまた来た時も宿泊したい。

施設が老朽化していると思います。清掃はきちんとしてあると思いますが、壁や床自体に落ちない汚れが多くありますし、壁紙が剥がれたりしています。ルームキーもカードではなく鍵です。

とにかくスタッフさんの対応が良かったです。

立地はとても良いと思います。 近辺に食事する所も迷うくらいありました。 ただ、部屋の壁紙が一部剥がれていたり 劣化なのか洗面所の排水のキャッチ部分が排水口に合ってなかった。 枕の下に数本の髪の毛がありショックだった。 アイロンを借りたのですが フロントの方の対応とても良かったです。

スタッフほか親切な対応で良かったです。 が、部屋の状態が少し汚れた状態で、テレビ裏やテーブル下などゴミが残っていたり、排水口の中が汚れた状態で見えていたりしました。 あと、トイレのタンクの問題かもしれませんが、流したあと、別の人が入った時に水が流れにくいということがあったらしいです。

駅近くは良いと思いますし、売店もリーズナブルな値段です。

部屋が全室禁煙の割にタバコ臭ぽかった。フロントに相談したら確認で部屋に来て頂き脱臭器を設置してくれた。宿泊階のエレベーターホールが汚水の匂いがした。

スタッフの対応がどなたも丁寧でとてもよかった。

街中です。駐車場は24時間ならお隣がいいですよと教えて頂きました。

メイン道路へのアクセスがよくない

静観な環境でゆっくり休めました。設備も整備されており、又、商店街も近くお勧めです。

①市の中心部にあり、何処に行くのにも便利。②スタッフの愛想も良い。 ③トキハデパートが直近にあり、とても便利。

シャワーの水圧がもっとあるといいと思う。

料金の安さに惹かれて宿泊したのですが、大変満足でした。 建物は新しくはありませんが、清掃が行き届いていて良かったです。朝食は、最後の日に利用しました。美味しかったです。お惣菜の種類も豊富でした。 スタッフの星一つ足りないのは、飲み物の案内がなかった、為です、。フロントの後ろ振り返ればあるのだから気付くのが当然！なのかも知れません。 が、余りに綺麗にディスプレイされていて、商品かと思い気付かず、缶コーヒーを買いにコンビニへ。　翌日教えて頂き、利用。インスタントが美味しいので驚きました。品数も豊富で良かったです。 又、ロケーションが、隣に温泉施設！最高のロケーションでした。 又、是非、利用したいです。

施設、サービス等は文句なし 周辺の飲食店を利用しやすい立地のため満足 強いて言うなら駐車場をわかりやすくしてもらえると尚良し それでも満足のいく内容でした

夜遅くにチェックインしましたが、スタッフは嫌な顔せずしっかり対応してくれました。 隣か上か分かりませんが、夜中水が流れる音が少し気になります。

ホテル自体は改装しているとはいえ、古さは感じます。ただ、宿泊する上での不都合は感じません。立地条件も良く、あまり騒音などを感じません。総合的には、値段と宿泊には満足です。

街の中心地にあり、出かけるのにとても便利でした。駐車場も比較的近くにあってスペースも広かったです。 壁が薄いのか、隣の部屋の人の声が聞こえて気になりました。

運悪く、満室で予約が取れない時でも、朝食をこのホテルで取りたい。 「予約制」でいいから、検討してほしい。 ロケーションも便利！ ランチは、「寿司ろばた八篠」でサイコーのグルメプランになります。

隣に府内温泉があり、夜遅くまで入れるのが良かった。 部屋はクロスの汚れが気になったが、仕方ないかと思いました。 スタッフは皆親切でした。

スタッフの方々が親切で朝食も美味しかったです。隣接の温泉も良かったです。

また、立地もよいし利用したいです。

近くにコンビニがありませんが1階に軽食やお菓子や飲み物が販売されていて良かったです。価格も一般的な価格なのでそこもよかったです

子供と九州旅行で利用、料金割に満足度が低いホテルでした。

お風呂場に髪の毛が2本落ちてた。大した掃除をしてない感じ。 布団が薄っぺらくて暖房も効きづらい。 1階のエレベーターのボタンが反応しない。 それ以外は特に問題なかった。

ロケーションも良く、安価なのでまたリピートします。
