The information and pictures do not match the current state of the hotel. This is in an unsafe area. The mattress are like sleeping on wood planks, the shower is just an attachment on a tub and hangs you cant stand to shower. The elevator feels like it will break any moment. Walls are dirty the ceilings have open spaces and looks like there are cameras in areas like the bathroom over bath.
The rooms could be renovated, because the walls are too thin and the floor creeks. Besides that, very good location and the staff is very welcoming and nice
The rooms are tiny, but this is not unusual in Paris from my experience. Location is close to the train and walking distance to Moulin Rouge. Breakfast is extra, but really nice breakfast for the price.
Excellent
The location of this property is excellent! Steps to the metropolitan and delicious restaurants. It’s a no nonsense place to sleep and shower, doesn’t have any extra fluff. But when in Paris it’s not about the room. It did keep us very warm at night during some really cold nights. We had a nice stay - because location location location.
Good service
Urged for maintainance, not worth it at all.
The room that was asigned to me was nothing to do with the advertising ones. I'm really not exagerating when I say it was terrible: super small with low roof, the carpet was stained, hairs on the towels and shower, and a plague of little drain flyes that kept comming out. When I asked a room change "it wasn't possible until next morning", a different person was at the front desk, couldn't reason with him about the room conditions and just said that I could file a complain. At the end I had to pay a "price difference" for a decent room. The hotel is has a good location in a good neighborhood, but definetly was not worth it.
Not satisfied
The room was in poor condition. We had no shower curtain, 2 outlets for a room of 4 people, horrible hair dryer, and no coffee maker or any amenities.
Had to leave room key at reception when going out.
Very nice neighborhood and comfortable bed!
I was very disappointed by going this hotel it looks good in pictures and it really surprised me by staying there room was not good and smell wasn't good smells like toilet whole time and shower really destroyed i dont recommend go this hotel and don't trust pictures i can say its the worst experience i had in my life AND WAS EXPENSIVE which not worth price at all.
It is in a great part of town close to the subway and Montmatre. There is no luggage holding at the hotel but close by are convenient locker locations.
Very old and neglected rooms.
When we checked in the front desk agent was very friendly and professional. We were informed that the Elevator was not working and that we had to take the stair to our room which was on the 3rd floor and we had to carry all of our luggage. When we arrived to our room it was very small and miniscule. The bed was a full sized bed for 2 over 6 feet individuals. There was no room to place our bags. The bathroom was dimly lit and the towels smelled of mold. With all of the issues with the room we immediately checked out we informed the front desk and they didnt try to accommodate us. We booked another room some where else. We were not pleased at all with the accommodations.
The hotel is well located, near Metro station... very convenient. But... the room has seen better days. It smells very humid. The guy at the front desk, we asked him to book us a taxi for early mooring so we can leave to the airport and the man just forgot it. At the end, it was good to enough to spend one night and that's it.
Great location in paris, close to the metro, non touristy, lots of places to eat nearby. Rooms are cozy and very charming.
Located great area, but the hotel is not worth it
The place was just not worth it. The hotel is located in a vibrant area, but the room was extremely uncomfortable, it was old, bed was lumpy, had dirty walls and carpets and no air conditioning. The bathroom had been renovated, which was nice. No safe in room. Breakfast was ok. Not worth what i paid per night. I would never stay here again.
Bed was comfortable, shower was great
Retired solo traveler
It was average did lot of safe walking many great places and restaurant..unfortunately one receptionist so rude and arrogant the 2nd day there so i extended my extra day but i can't get in because i have to pay $3 for property without telling when he handed my card key...i ask for wake up call when i came down he asleep and said to me . .i forgot..thank you ❤️
Another property that not look the same in the pictures room are horrible
The shower was terrible. Mold on the ceilings and tile. Staff was friendly and helpful at the front desk.
That it was near a good bakery but very difficult to find. The front desk manager had to take me to it.
We had a great stay, it was a good hotel to use as a base - but the room was very dated although the bathroom was lovely and new; the TV was unsafe hung on the wall, the balcony divider had been removed so we found someone outside our room smoking on several occasions, this made us then ensure that our balcony door was locked even when we were in the room.
Should allow baggage to be kept !
Bit dated and the floor slightly unstable If you just need a bed not bad No A/C
Our plane was late and the staff that day was great and held the room. But our room was bottom floor which was ok and quiet but our floor in our room was very uneven a huge dip in it and creaked bad. Bed was very uncomfortable, Not the best at all. Then we saw some men in clean bunny suit removing a mattress. No one could tell us what happened. Very glad to leave.
Three in one shampoo/body wash/hand wash should not be a thing.
The staff was amazing the room was a little small but we used it to sleep. Great area and great food all around. Easy to get to just about anywhere you needed to go.
The staff is mot very friendly also the rolm has no heat or air conditioning the rooms look dirty and tye washroom need to b fix the toilet is in bad shape moving the sink was broken no curtain’s in the washroom ,i would mot recommend this place unless u domt mind a 2 stars motel
Don’t be optimistic on the star rating… Paris will be pricey regardless of the condition, so you get what you pay for. Staff, area, area and accessibility is above price range, so that was a great plus!!!
I think being charged 24 euros for an unacceptable breakfast is disgusting, no tea or coffee facilities in room, plug socket on top of wall which means ur pnone is dangling, carpets heavily stained staff very unwelcoming and room is very very small
The rooms don’t represent the photos and they are not renovated. In fact, it’s visible dirty. I had to change my sheets myself and there were no amenities other than soap.
Dump
very poor.
Very very weak shower over the bath and very old school room. Incredibly comfy bed.
Rooms are too small, allows access to public transit so location wise great.
Perfect for our 3 night get away. Right next to the number 12 metro and walking distance from plenty of cafes and restaurants. A very small cosy room with a lovely big shower room was perfect for us.
If you are looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is comfortable but the rooms are pretty small. The location is excellent, near numerous cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and takeaway shops. The Moulin Rouge is also only a 10 minute walk away, with lots of pubs close by. A slightly longer walk will take you to Montemartre and the Sacre Couer. Also, virtually next door to the hotel is Saint Georges Metro station, which is 3 or 4 stops from the Concord and Invalides sights.
We had a comforting stay but the facility needs a room update. The floor was creaking and very uneven so we tripped a lot. It had a new shower that worked great and mattresses were comfy. Overall, we had good sleeps which were what we wanted.
Not clean and tidy . Carpets were horrible. In room facilities were not matching the description. Housekeeping staff were nice .. Management staff was rude and not friendly to visitors ... Kept saying this is Paris .. these are the rules - Definitely not recommending this place
Overpriced and disappointed
The hotel was in poor condition, the room smelled really bad and the carpet was dirty. The locks were not properly working and we could not dead bolt our room. The furniture was unstable and the bathroom smelled really bad. There were not enough outlets to plug in fans to provide cooling in the hot summer evening. Fire escape door had no way to lock from inside and was not safe.
Amazing location, amazing hotel, great staff.
Don't believe the reviews, the worst stay of my entire trip. I couldn't rest a single night because of the heat, there is no air conditioner, only a small fan, for three people and the team makes no effort to accommodate you. It doesn't look like the photos, stay away from that place.
The staff was polite and friendly and helpful. Hotel room basic but comfortable in need of upgrade,
We booked a large room with two beds and were given two small rooms with only enough room for the bed. There was no air, so we were forced to open the window while we slept. The noise here never stops!! We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night and cars, people, music ALL HOURS. The bathroom was not cleaned before we checked in. The rooms were dirty looking, stains on the carpet and walls. Staff was okay, but they do not hold your bags before check in and made us find a convenience store that charges to hold bags. They also made us turn our room keys in every time we left. Did not check our IDs when we came back to get the keys. Feels unsafe.
We enjoyed our stay, friendly staff, nice area
It was a good great place
It was right next to a metro station. The room was small but nice.
I liked the area for shopping, easy access to the Paris Metro, and food choices. The hotel room pictured on this web site was not even close. The room I stayed in could use some maintenance (especially the bathtub) and cleaning. It did have an elevator. If i was traveling by myself and wanted a low-cost hotel I would choose this hotel again because of the area (my wife hated this hotel because of the above reasons).
👍
Bed was uncomfortable. Price was cheap. Guess you get what you pay for
Very nice place
Average for a two star. Elevator very small and can fit two people with luggage if that matters.. can be waiting for elevator therefore easier to take the stairs. Toilette was on one side of the room, sink to wash your hands on the other. Tub had a handheld for a shower but no elevated on wall and no shower curtain. Floors creeked lots. Location was fine Uber approx 20 min to anywhere. Hotel had character, and it was clean.
A nice neighborhood, walking distance from many things. However the rooms were nothing to be excited about. Old carpet, odds and ends furnishings, uneven floors and poor bathrooms. Not recommended for the price.
Served us well
The bathroom was nice but the room itself was a bit small. I wish there were more than one outlet for the four of us too use but....
Me and my 3 kids stayed for 5 nights in this hotel and my expectations based on other reviews were already low, however I was willing to give it a chance. To say that the room was dirty would be an understatement. The brownish red rug that covers the floor is full of dust, hair and crumbs. The bathroom looks like it is disintegrating and the water pressure is not enough to wash your hair. The toilet is in a separate room that is dark and narrow and honestly my kids were scared to enter it. During the night I was itchy and my kids were complaining about being itchy as well. However not only is the cleanliness disgraceful but the staff is quite unkind as when I asked if there was a possibility to have a room with more air ventilation in it (it was very hot) the front desk worker laughed and said no. Other than that the location was good but would not recommend at all.
All staff were friendly and very helpful! They spoke English as well which was really good as I don’t know how to speak French but they didn’t have luggage storage available so I had to wait with my bags until heading off to the airport but they did have a place to store luggage nearby for 5€ per bag
We liked the tree location and it felt safe.
It’s in a very good neighborhood lots of cafes and restaurants.it can be a bit loud at night or ein the early morning, lots of party goers and cars and bike honks. Overall was a lovely place to stay, very nice staff at the hotel.
It was good
nice location, walking distance to restaurants, nearby grocery stores, and metro station. note to US tourists: the hotel room bathroom doesn't have a shower curtain, just a bath-tub, very hard to have a proper shower. also, the hotel room had separate toilet, had to walk to a different bathroom to wash hands, not very convenient.
Hotel is very old, staff is not friendly. The shower does not have a curtain or door and the room is tiny. Location is good
The room is so small, stuffy and dark. No cabinet to put your clothes. When you open the window to get fresh air, it’s very loud outside.
In one Word a Scam. Don’t let you go by the photos. Pricy by the hotel conditions, it’s very old, small, careless, smelly, the bathroom is horrible. Cleaning ladies do their best, but cannot hide the bad conditions. By that price you can get something much more better. They have a $50 euros early check-in, that’s ridiculous, talk to people that was staying there as me, they think the same.
Horrible staff - won't let you store luggage or take keycard out of hotel with you. Rude, wouldn't let me wait in the lobby for my room. I came down to check out and one of the staff members was sleeping on the lobby sofa. Noisy, dirty hotel
Steer clear
Room was horrendous and dirty, it doesn’t seem like the room ever would’ve looked new. No lights in the bathroom, stunk of smoke and damp to the point we had to air the room out everytime we came into the room. Shower didn’t really function and the whole place was just horror. Website states luggage storage then there is a sign at the desk stating NO LUGGAGE STORAGE AVAILABLE with an app recommendation to pay to store.
Stay in Paris
Excellent stay, professional and friendly staff, great neighbourhood. Will stay there again! Merci!
We were skeptical about staying here from the reviews but after staying, I don’t know why people were so negative! It was just what we needed, great location and kind staff. They let us check in early and were so helpful. The room was clean and perfect! We will be recommending to friends!
Staff was helpful and pleasant to deal with. Location was very convenient. Room was a bit dated, but clean. It was cool when we visited, but no A/C in room (fan was provided). Also, tub with hand held sprayer, no shower. WiFi worked well.
Lesson learned booking hotel in Paris…
This was our first hotel booking for family vacation in Paris. The pics posted were misleading. Hotel room was constricted, no air conditioning, bad aeration, bathroom tub has no curtains, narrow hall away, elevator can carry only 2 people. Horrific family experience!
Terrible place DO NOT STAY HERE
Excellent location. Comfortable beds. Needs new carpet and updated bathrooms. Very convenient and safe area. Lacks hospitality. The front desk will NOT store your bags for even an hour or two before or after check in, if say, you have a later train or flight or get in early before check in. They have a room in the back, but they will not accommodate you. No hospitality. No graciousness.
Good hotel, with helpful staff
The beds are comfy. The location is perfect. But anyone traveling to Paris knows you get stuck a lot of times with 4 to 5 hours to spare after 11am check out, prior to a flight or train. They WILL NOT store your roller bag for even a few hours post check out. THEY REFUSE. So you are stuck wasting hours in the lobby post check out or being the American making the roller suitcase sound, sweating, and being hated by all Parisians. I chose the former. Every hotel should allow at least a few hours of grace regarding baggage check. It's sunny out, I could be at Musee Orsay, but instead I am watching my bags as I await a 4pm train to London. Sad state of service.
Très propre du métro et à côté d'un charmant bistrot typiquement parisien
Very old facilities needing renovation. Reception overall not bad but one person was rude. The only good thing is it is close to Metro.
Toilet and bath tub were at two ends of the room. Hotel room smelled abnoxious and absolutely zero ventilation 5 stars for location as there are many restaurants and grocery shops but other. Than location absolutely not worth the money
Holiday
Very smooth.
Nice hotel, good service, the rooms are small but very convenient area
Only the location Is great and convenient. Service is bad.
The hotel was in a convenient locaions and easy metro ride (2 very close) from sightseeing opportunies. It was on a major street and noisy during the day. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
It’s an old building, clean, big room and no AC! I don’t know how I missed that as I was reading the hotel reviews. If it’s spring or winter, a fan and an open window would most likely do. But I wonder during the summertime? The location is a plus.
The floor felt like we were going to fall through it. There wasn’t a shower, just a bath. There were fans in the closet but no air conditioning. We left the windows open for air but the noise outside was so loud we had to close it.
The fixtures and fittings are about 50 years old and is stained and dirty. It should be made illegal for some inappropriate people to own or manage hotels.
Compact room in a small hotel with attached toilet and bathroom. Has a lift so no need to carry your luggages several floors. Several food options around and the metro is just few meters away. Need to pay tourist tax separately. No kettle in the room which is a basic thing to provide. Room has a large heater, nice bed and blanket.
Room could use some updating
Not so good
I was good location but the room was so small and the bed was broken
Very clean and safe hotel! We enjoyed pur staying at this hotel!
Good location but unfriendly reception.
Good hotel
The staff was very nice, the location was great, the room was very clean, and larger than I expected. We enjoyed it stay.
Pictures online were nowhere indicative of the actual property. The rooms were old and gross, and the bathroom didn’t even have a shower. Didn’t even stay.
Won’t stay here again!
Being new to France and I asked to use the phone call my flight due to issues and the front desk staff was not kind about it. He stated that he doesn’t want me to hold up the phone like. Phone in my room did not work. The room was way too small and the bed was not the most comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel.
Terrible management; disgusting room. Rooms located several blocks away from check-in location with no transportation/assistance. Malfunctioning lighting & plumbing issues. Avoid at all costs.
Loved the little balcony off my room. Room was tired but clean
Was good, but small rooms
I had the best experience staying here! Room was cozy, pretty and always smelled nice. It’s too centric and metro is just at some steps. Definitely I’d return to this place.
Hotel Antin Saint Georges is a great hotel!
Location was good but the hotel needs a lot of improvements.

My first room had issues and I was upgraded to a better room for free
