Loved pretty much everything. The room was lovely and well designed, the staff were accommodating and help, and the onsen was peaceful and good after a cold long day. Only wished we spent more time in Kanazawa to spend more time here

We really enjoyed our stay on the top floor of this hotel with a great view. The public bath was really nice and it was great to have coffee and iced tea and water in the lobby.

River and canal views were informative. Excellent dining opportunities: we chanced into multiple restaurants with great host cooks and had some oishii meals!

We stayed two nights. The location is excellent for restaurants. It's a short walk to the old town and about a 15 to 20-minute walk to the castle.

Hotel Amanek was such a delightful stay! Their amenities from toiletries to daily treats/waters to a pristine bath were all top notch. Really convenient and the staff were extremely helpful. Would recommend and can't wait to stay again!

First time staying here and have a few things I’d like to note. The stay overall was comfortable but some room for improvement that will hopefully be helpful. -Pros Good price, Convenient area, comfortable bed, clean and nice ambiant bath, clean sheets Cons -I’m all for being eco-friendly, however, there needs to be a clear indicator that the fridge needs to be turned on if guests want to use it, as I bought a few things for breakfast and the next morning found them room temp. -There was a bug on the cup saucer in bathroom -Dried up contact lens stuck to the back of remote, which was hard to remove and unpleasant -Audio system is separate from TV and after a couple hours you need to turn the system back on and switch to tv audio I enjoyed my stay but the above would be a reason why I wouldn’t recommend a friend to stay here. Hope things can be improved.

Very comfortable hotel near the river and close to the samurai village. There are lots of nearby places to eat and it’s walking distance to the Kanazawa Castle. Our room was well-appointed, bed was comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. We did laundry (coin operated machines) that worked great and were easy to use.

The Amanek was wonderfully modern, yet retained the character of a Japanese ryokan. The public ofuro was very enjoyable, the rooms immaculate and comfortable and the lobby amenities and atmosphere very inviting and relaxing. Staff were very polite and helpful. Will definitely return.

We were amazed on this hotel. We asked for three adult stay and they had a nice room with three separate beds Japanese style. Clean and great view of the city.

We stayed here as a family of four in a Family style room (two rooms joined together with two bathrooms). Couldn't believe how affordable it was. The hotel is absolutely amazing. We travelled around Japan for three weeks and stayed in some very nice places but this hotel was absolutely the best. We loved all the amenities, esp the public bath. Everything felt like such a great quality.

Very nice hotel! We also utilized the spa and got massages which was very nice. Very convenient location. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Nice and new but don’t expect to sleep!

This is a nice, new hotel and the location is great for sightseeing. Rooms are small, but clean and have good amenities. Major downside was the rooms were not equipped with curtains or black out blinds, so we were woken up at 5:30M by bright sunlight and never felt rested. Pillows are also incredibly hard so it was tough to get a good night’s sleep in the two nights we spent there.

Good location and contemporary style is great. Comfortable bed and public bath for guest is great.

I booked modern style Japanese triple room *2. They extra charged 7000 yen for 3rd people in room when my friend check-in. The triple room is 8000yen/ room, why would I pay 7000 for extra ppl instead of booking a new room? The room they give us initally is twin regular room a Japanese room with extra bed. I have to argue 10 minutes at front change the twin to big room at 1am. Meanwhile even on check out, me for booked on Expedia havent received any notice on extra 7000 charge, even on checkout. The management is poor. Elevator is dirty though room is clean. Bath place say open till 11am next day on TV showed in room, but closed before 12night. I checked again at 730in the mng, still close. No clear notice at all

A brand new hotel in the Katamachi district (opened November 2019) 10 minutes walk from Kenrokuen. Rooms are stylish. Hotel restaurant is good but not cheap. Plenty of budget eats in the vicinity.

外国人の観光客を意識した作りのお部屋でしたが、荷物を広げるスペースやデスクは狭かったです。部屋の灯りを一か所でまとめて消すことができないのが個人的には面倒でした。 繁華街の通り沿いだからか、夜中にクラクションが大きく鳴ることが数回ありましたが、それ以外は快適に過ごせました。

朝食を期待していましたが残念ながら期待外れでした。

初めてこちらに宿泊しました。 綺麗でスタイリッシュな雰囲気、大浴場も お湯加減がちょうど良かったです。 脱衣所にティッシュがあると良いと思います。 ベッドも寝心地良かったです。

Hotel muy recomendable. Relación calidad/precio genial. El onsen tenia desmaquillante, loción facial, shampoo, gel de cuerpo, acondicionador para el pelo y secador. Aun siendo un hotel grande, solo eramos 3 personas en el onsen. El servicio de masajes genial, salí relajada y como nueva. Hice la reserva con 1h de antelación y ningun problema. Al lado de la recepción hay un hall donde puedes comer la comida que traigas de fuera del hotel. Habitación de tamaño correcto por lo que suelen ser en japón.

従業員の接客、ホテルの説明が丁寧的確で 不明な点がなくとてもいいと思った 価格も安くまた機会があれば泊まりたいと思う 不便な点は客室の玄関口が狭く、靴がドアに引っかかる。靴箱なんかがあったら良かったと思う

周りに食べ物屋がたくさんあるので素泊まりでの利用でした。コンビニも近く便利が良かったです。

The hotel is perfect, except for one small issue. If you arrive around 9am, you'll likely find that many of the dishes at the buffet are already empty or have very little food left.
