Great Staff!!Thank you.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! ROOMS HAVE MOULD. BED HAVE WET STAINS. BED IS FULL OF HAIR. TOWELS ARE FULL OF STAINS. PLACE IS A DUMP. WE LEFT AFTER ONLY 1 NIGHT OF OUR STAY AND THEY REFUSED REFUND FOR THE UNUSED NIGHTS
Bathtub was too high from the floor
Perfect if you don’t like to sleep
Hotel had a great location and friendly staff but the paper thin walls ruined the stay. We stayed on the first floor and heard/felt the metro underneath the building constantly, could hear our neighbours full conversations and even heard people at the toilet and in the shower. The room could also have benefitted from a fridge or tea/coffee making facilities
Staff were very helpful. We forgot to bring a european adapter for our charger, front desk lend us one. Safe neighborhood and alot of restaurants and cafe around to choose. Pharmacy, grocery and metro at a short walking distance from hotel
Lovely staff, spoke good English, not much parking for a large vehicle, and could hear the metro underground running all evening/ night. Hotel was nice and clean, rooms are smaller than use to, but we was only there to sleep as wanted to visit the tower.. Tower was 15min walk away which was fine. As passed all local shops.. Breakfast was continental only. Would stay again, thank you
EXCELLENT, VERY NICE STAFF
It was a good place to stay. Will stay there again.
Great
It was a great location which lots of local restaurants & shops. I went for a run each morning & very pleasant & safe. Also walking distance to tower & other Paris attractions. Hotel was small but clean & cozy. I would definitely stay again when in Paris.
Not the best but not the worst
Location is ok. It’s at least 20 mins’ walk to Eiffel so quite away from the tourist hordes. There are shops and cafes nearby. The hotel itself has noisy pipework/fans and that reduced sleep for me. Also, the guest upstairs must have had an elephant staying with them. Breakfast looked a bit pathetic and €€ so we went to bakeries instead. I was disappointed the towels AND toiletries (soap!!) were changed every day, despite following instructions to keep using them from the helpful sticker on the loo. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The lift kept breaking down but it’s max 7 floors.
.
Very nice and cute property. The breakfast was good. I absolutely adore the windows in the room. Bed was very comfy for me.
Just a couple of things that people need to be aware of before they decide on this property-- 1. The walls between rooms are very thin--next door neighbors were not being extremely loud, but we could hear them. 2. There's a blow dryer in the bathroom, but no plugs for any accessories. If you need to plug in a flat iron, make sure that you bring one with a long cord. Overall, our experience was very positive!
Hotel was easy to check into and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was continental but very poor selection. There was no safe luggage storage facilities post check out. We asked to extend one of our rooms to store our luggage and had awful hastle with staff saying that we had to check out at 11:30 and come back at 1 to check in. Receptionist was very rude and was not helpful when we asked for alternative plans such as paying for early check in or another room. Eventually called up to the room to say another room was ready after all the hastle.
Very nice place
It was in a good location. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Nice, clean & quiet.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié l'emplacement et les employés de l'hôtel. C'était très propre et très bien situé à quelques pas du métro. Très agréable séjour, je recommande!
Situated in a central location very close to metro station and various tourist areas. The hotel itself is very basic. Our double room was very small with a window overlooking an enclosed courtyard with flats directly opposite your window. No kettle or tea facilities. It states the room comes with toiletries like shampoo/shower gel but the dispenser on the shower wall was empty and we only had 2 miniature bottles between the two of us for 4 days. Luckily we always take our own but be warned. The bathroom itself was so small there was barely room to turn between the toilet and the bathroom door, neither myself or parter are overweight but a person of larger stature could struggle. The shower cubicle smelled overwhelmingly of mould and damp and the tiles were covered in black mould on the floor of the shower. The room in general needs updated and the curtains which were coming off the rails felt more like shower curtains with a waterproof type coating on them ! We didn’t sample the breakfast so can’t comment. The area is perfect for touring with lots of great restaurants and a shopping street just a few minutes walk away and close to the nearest metro. I would recommend the area but will not be revisiting this hotel.
Over all it was good, small room good for one or two people, bathroom was small but had all the necessities. Wish it had a mini fridge or microwave but over all was good, it had ac and a nice cute window/balcony, view wasn't great but good enough. Great location for walking to main attractions, very safe and 24/7 front desk help and receptionist, if your in a budget this is a great place, didn't tried their breakfast since it was early and a bit pricey. Over all a good experience.
This is tucked away on a quiet side street in what seemed to be a pretty safe neighbourhood. It was steps away from metro line 10 which is very well connected to all the major sites. Hotel room was very small which is to be expected in Paris. Great little French balcony overlooking a quiet lane. Room was clean and staff were very friendly. Value for dollar was very reasonable. Located near some great cafes. I would stay here again. If you’re a light sleeper you should beware that you can hear through other rooms and hear footsteps down the hallway.
Great little hotel. Convenient location near a train station and very walkable. We had breakfast at a nearby cafe which was delicious. Much better value than breakfast at the hotel. There is a supermarket a very short walk away. Very small rooms but was adequate and I think this is how it is in Paris. There is a small lift to get luggage upstairs. Staff are nice. Walls are very thin so you do hear your neighbours. I mean you hear everything….. Especially if they get in late at night and bring back a guy they picked up. Can’t be helped and made for a very funny story. Overall we enjoyed our stay here but it has made me wary of thin walls for future hotel bookings.
Cute, close with a bit of rough service
Decent little hotel 20-30 minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower. The staff didn't interact with us much after check in. During check-in, I thought one of the staff members treated a couple from several countries away rather insensitively when she informed them Expedia had canceled their reservation. To me, it felt like that couple was a bother to the staff member. Never mind the feeling of abandonment and helplessness the couple must have had when they found out they had nowhere to stay. It took that staff member 5 or 10 minutes to tell the distraught wife in the couple that she need not worry because the hotel would find them a room. That staff member was clearly frazzled and frustrated. She could have handled the situation with more empathy, though. We sat through that experience waiting to check in and feeling for the couple while also wondering if our Expedia reservation have been unknowingly canceled. It hadn't. Our check-in process was pretty smooth. The room felt clean. The air conditioning struggled to keep up. The room was small, but not unlike what you would expect in an older European hotel building. I recommend checking out Charles Michele for some fantastic restaurant service. It's only a few minutes walk away. The hotel is close to attractions, but Paris is huge. So be prepared to walk A LOT and take public transit. Give yourself extra time.
Staff was amazing! Location was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a fantastic stay.
We stayed at Hôtel Alizé Grenelle Tour Eiffel during the Olympics. It was is an excellent 3 star hotel. The rooms were all clean, had AC and the location was convenient. The area is very walkable and we would definitely consider staying there the next time that we are in Paris.
Hotel and room were very clean, in a great location within easy access to the metro. Air conditioning worked extremely well. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Nice spot. Just a little 20min walk from everything. Nice staff. Quiet place.
The elevator was not working. The room was on the 5th floor. They didn’t even offered to help with the luggage. The air conditioner was great.
Very good
Super bien ubicado y el personal muy amable y servicial.
Great concierge service
Clean, quiet and close to shops and dining. Not that close to Eiffel, but walkable. Priced reasonably even though our stay is during the peak season. I wish they at least kept the complimentary coffee in the rooms, however, there are lots of options around the area (Starbucks, local bakery, etc.).
Was a nice hotel in a very nice location close to shops wonderful restaurants, boulangerie. Little walk from some sites but safe walking around at night. Would stay again
The staff were very accommodating.
Tiny rooms in a nice and quiet neighborhood
Great location near metro stations. You can walk the Eiffel tower at night without safety concerns.
As a solo female traveler finding a safe location close to transportation and restaurants is always my go to. This location was truly amazing. The 15th is a gem more of locals in the area not as touristy. I felt safe the entire time I was there. Rooms were cleaned daily by the sweetest older women. The best part I feel was the French windows that your able to open overlooking to square.
All staff were helpful and polite. The hotel is set in a nice area and is very close (2 minutes walk) from the nearest metro station, Charles Michels on line 10.
Great little hotel, centrally located near all sorts of public transit options. Stay was seamless, room clean and in great shape. No bedbugs!
We had a good time staying in the hotel for 2 nights. The room is quite small but well decorated and functional. Staff is very helpful. Located near Metro and Eiffel Tower.
Good hotel does the job for what you need. Very limited breakfast options not worth paying extra for it
Amazing location. So central metro just outside too.
A wonderful hotel in an excellent location in Eiffel Tour area of Paris. Staff is excellent as well as the rooms are fresh and clean. All rooms have windows that can be opened, ours was overlooking the main street and it was a wonderful view. A short walk to Starbucks coffee and restaurants and great shopping are in every direction. Excellent location.
Lovely hotel near to metro and walking distance. To most attractions
Warm and nice service
Good
It’s was amazing
The room was very small, but the bathroom was a good size. What was great about this location was at the metro station was two minutes walking. And you also had a lot of little shops and restaurants nearby.
kettle/tea/coffee and milk in the room.
Very Central. Friendly stuff.
Chambre très propre mais minuscule
Pleasant hotel with really nice staff. Good area and convenient for the metro. Breakfast choice on the day we had breakfast at the hotel wasn't great, but otherwise a decent hotel at a reasonable cost of central Paris. 20min walk from the Eiffel tower
.
This was a good spot to see a bunch of stuff on a budget: some very good places to eat around it. Room was fresh and clean. Our only issue was the heat control didn’t work. But it wasn’t to cold to worry about it.
Didn’t expect much from the room but the ac wasn’t working, the walls are paper thin and the shower was dirty. Other than that it was just a room to rest in the end.
1. Conveniently located close to a well placed Metro station and local shopping establishments. 2. Reasonable sized bedrooms. No fridge or coffee facility in the room. 3. Night desk staff very helpful& friendly. Daytime desk staff less so. 4. Extremely poor sound insulation. Conversations and movements in adjoining rooms and passageways could be easily heard, which was very disruptive. For this reason alone, we would not stay here again. 5. On the last night, there was a loud buzzing sound from the ceiling above, which persisted until drawn to the attention of the desk staff member, who kindly dealt with it. However, it returned again in the early hours of the next morning for some time. 6. Inconsistent housekeeping. On the 2nd day, the room was made up without request. On the penultimate day, we were provided with a single bath towel to share. 7. Bathroom was not very clean. Mould and grime was visible around bath screen and tub. The small bath tub serves little practical purpose and a decent shower unit would be more practical. 8. Air conditioning did not work and there is little point in having a wall control as it seems to be centrally controlled anyway The room was very warm, meaning we had to keep a window open overnight.
We stayed at the hotel for several nights during our first trip to Paris and it was perfect. The hotel was extremely close to Charles Michel Station making it very easy to get all around the city. Staff were professional and courteous, and the room was cleaned daily. The room was a touch small (although not abnormally so, and this is par for the course in Europe anyway), but was very comfortable and cozy for us (we stayed in the room with the king sized bed). We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there were lots of great spots around to eat at. The walls were indeed a little thin, but it did not bother us at all. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended the hotel to friends. Thanks again!
Loved this, metro on end of street and a mini market for smacks for hotel room. Staff were so lovley and friendly! When you walk to the metro the eiffle is in eye sight utterly beautiful! Also a mc donalda and starbucks on corner!
The location was perfect , and it was close to major metro stations. But our room hair dryer didn’t work and it was broken . The bathroom fan didn’t work and when we asked they said they will fix it . But they never fixed it. Our bathroom and shower was separate. You should do your business , and then go to the shower to wash your hands.
Nice room - excellent ensuite facilities. Good value breakfast.
Staff were super friendly and helpful
The rooms were a good size and very clean.
Marvelous place and location
The only drawback is the small lift/elevator. It would only fit one person and one suitcase at a time. Often in the morning, the cleaning staff tied up the lift.
A nice option to stay, 15 minutes walking to Eiffel Tower.
Good place to stay in Paris, the Eiffel Tower wasn’t to closed 15 to 20 minutes walking.
The hotel is in an amazing location, 15-20 mins walk from Eiffel Tower. A lot of good food options close by especially the place opposite! Breakfast was good selection for continental and very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions. At night it can feel a bit unsafe walking to the hotel but you can avoid these roads by looking on maps and planning your route.
Nice hotel. Staff had no problem speaking English for us. Multiple brasseries and boulangeries in the area
AMERICAN TOURISTS PLEASE STAY AWAY
Woke up at 7am with housekeeping in my room unannounced. I asked the front desk if they was a reason for her coming to my room. The front desk didn’t care.Let not forget the rooms are the size of a SHOE BOX. Woke up with several bites from BEDBUGS. Also asked for them to call us a Taxi to get to the airport. They must called a friend because they tried to charge $100.00 for a ride to the airport. I flagged down a Taxi outside on the streets and the Taxi only Charged $35.00 to go to the Airport. The Hotel and man got mad and tried to tell the Taxi to not take us or charge us $100.00 however this is a Scam Hotel who tried to steal Passport out of people room. And Overcharge for the stay. I advise no AMERICANS TO STAY HERE.
We had a double room for five nights. It was cosy but very clean with toiletries provided. It was serviced when requested. The staff looked after some parcels for us that were delivered whilst we on route. They were extremely obliging and considerate.
friendly staff, very close to shopping/dining, Eiffel Tower
Great location and convenient. Accommodations were very clean and we appreciated the elevator and the optional breakfast that was provided.
Great choice hotel
The hotel was in a great location, very near to a metro and restaurants, bakeries and shopping area. The staff were always polite and friendly. Our room (#105) was bigger than I expected for Paris, clean and smelt lovely when we checked in. It was at the back of the hotel facing some apartments which I was pleased about to not get the street noise. There was a hairdryer, trouser press, clothes hangers and shower amenities which were replenished in the room. We didn’t try the breakfast and instead used a bakery down the street which was much cheaper. My downsides would be - you can hear people in neighbouring rooms like other reviews suggest, but luckily my neighbours were very quiet during the night hours. You can also hear and feel the metro, but this again didn’t run through the night so not that bad. For a double room, there wasn’t a socket on both sides of the bed.
Nice place no fancy but clean and nice
Ideal location and easy access to the centre
The room is terribly small - unbelievable!
Room was way too small with little room for your liggage or to walk around. No fridge or iron. It was also a 25 min walk to the eiffel tower, got the impression it was much closer.
The gent that served us this morning as we left was so helpful, all staff and facilities great
Staff was great and pleasant. Clean and convenient.
Front desk young lady was very friendly and helped us with our request and give us tips and recomendations. Also, spoke good english with us all the time.
I loved this property because it was close to everything. Only thing that could be improved is if they provided a fan in the room because the air-conditioning isn't very cool.
Great place
Great hotel! Great servers, too
great placeand location
Meh weak wifi, water, short beds, great service.
Great service. Weak wifi, weak water pressure, really big step from out of tub. Outlet only one side of the bed. *king bed* was short so my feet were hanging off as a 6'0 male. Beside a salvation army so meh area but close to metro and tourist areas.
Rude form the word go, staff were dressed poorly first impression not good, unncooperative. Room was tiny, very small bed, room did match up to what was advertised in my booking. Location was good.
I would not stay here again. The noise was nonstop until 1 AM and started again at 7. The property location is next to a homeless shelter and so there are many people loitering outside playing loud music for many hours. There isn’t much nearby for food or grocery. But it was close to the train station which was fantastic. The hotel room only had 2 towels total which was odd. Plus the fire alarm went off for about 15 minutes two different times randomly despite there being no fire… just a bad stay.
We liked this hotel. It's very close to a Metro stop, relatively quiet, and very clean. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel tower. Solid choice.
They disable the elevator for guests when they are doing the laundry exchange/service, and the desk employee gave me a disgusted look for wanting to use the elevator. I had a brace on one foot for an injury that was healing, but felt forced to use the stairs because of his attitude. The staff was lovely except for him. Also, if you don't want breakfast (optional) make it clear when you check in (they didn't ask me about it at check in) and tried to charge me for 2 breakfasts during the entire stay (over 260 euros) when I left which I had to dispute because we didn't use it at all.
Loved it. Clean and great location
This hotel is a short walk to the train and a long walk to the Eiffel tower. Numerous cafe and thing to see and do nearby. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel.
Too small, not friendly , inconveniences, not soundproof
all was good and clear.
We really enjoyed our stay! Our hotel room was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the view was nice. Shower pressure in shower was perfect and the room was very clean. Highly recommend this hotel!!
Great hotel! I will recommend
Great location! Room too small for us but we are from North America and just used to bigger spaces! Otherwise all good!
The rooms are too small. We were two people in one room and struggled to see how to open our two travel baggage without blocking the way. The hotel is extremely understaffed. One night, the AC stopped working. I called to report the problem, however, reception said there was no maintenance available and that he was the only staff right now so he could not come and check it out, and that I would have to wait until the morning. The room was too hot to sleep in. Eventually, it was fixed in the morning, however, the AC broke again the next day and the same scenario happened. No apologies. For two nights we slept with no AC because there was no staff to fix it. The bathroom is generously oversized and modern considering the room. We got a bathtub. There is no power outlet next to one side of the bed. The nightstands do not have any drawers or storage. It's just a table. The pillows are extremely uncomfortable. The rooms however were very clean and well decorated.
Hotel is small, but nice and clean. Perfect location, walking distance to Eiffel Tower. Starbucks and shopping malls so close. Recommend!
Second time hear at this hotel. Never disappoints. Clean, easy walk to subway, restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower
Very comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Occasional rumble of métro heard. Would recommend.
Multi language desk clerk.very helpful, pleasant.
