Vwry friendly staff. Lovely pool. Covenient locatiin. Lovely breakfast.
Excellent 3 star hotel
Well run andspotlessly clean hotel. Friendly and helpful management who speak English. Located near main road however most rooms on the other side of the hotel so you can forget about it. Roof terrace has views across to the lake. Pool area a delight.
Great pool
Hotel is better inside than it looks from the outside (too much bare concrete). The husband and wife staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pool was excellent, very clean. The location is ideal for a 15 minute walk into the old port, uphill on the way back. The hotel is on a busy, noisy roundabout, but it is fine with the windows shut and by the pool didn't seem too bad. The only downside was the poor quality of the beds and pillows.
The staff were very accommodating. The pool is lovely.
great time
had a lovely time at this bright, clean, roomy hotel, with the added advantage of a pool to cool off and relax in.
Lovely hotel with wonderful staff
We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely staff at this hotel. They were very friendly and helpful and really added to our experience. A great example was the fact that we arrived at 1am for check-in (our flight had been delayed by 2 hours). Even though this was 1.5 hours after the hotel's latest check-in, they were very understanding and did not make us feel bad at all (we had called from the airport so they knew). The hotel is in a good location - slightly outside the town centre, but within good walking range of everything. The parking facilities were good and the pool area was very nice. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone, as long as you don't mind a 15-20 minute walk into the town centre.
Convenient to Lake Garda and the auto-strada
Pleasant atmosphere and hotel staff were very nice. The breakfast selection was good. Pool area was a nice place to gather with our friends after coming back from the sites. We were traveling many cities in Italy and stayed 3 nights at Lake Garda.
Good hotel but ......
Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel but there were a number of things that would have made it better. On arrival our GPS directed us to the correct road but the hotel was around the corner - we had to ring the hotel to direct us as the GPS was correct. Wifi costs 1 Euro per hour - why hotels charge for this in this day and age is beyond me. No tea making facilities or fridge - pity. No english speaking TV channels - lucky we left the kids at home. Walk to town centre was just a little too long. On the positive side - extremely clean hotel and swimming pool (though small). Rooms were a nice size. We are english speaking with absolutely no Italian and the staff were quite good at english. I would recommend this hotel but they should make improvements as we outlined above.
Spacious rooms, friendly staff, good location
We spent two nights at the Al Cacciatore Hotel in August 2011. We booked two rooms. We liked: the location (though noisy if room overlooking the road, beware!), the spacious rooms, the pool and the helpfulness of the staff. There is nothing we did not like. Breakfast was rather basic or "frugal", but overall the hotel was very good.
Linda habitaciones
Not too bad, all in all
The hotel is located near a very busy road, and there is even a train track near by, so if you are sensitive to noise this is not your hotel. The door to the room is also not sound proved at all. However the price point is quite decent for what you get. The pool is very clean and although small it does the trick, we quite enjoyed it as a nice cooldown after a day at Gardaland/biking/shopping. The breakfast is really good with all the essentials, apart maybe from the fruit salad that is too much from a can. But now I'm nit-picking. The personnel is maybe not the most proficient in English but especially the owner (?) makes up for it in his service levels. Point in example: My son drops his knife at breakfast and without seeing it the man knows what was dropped (from the sound, I guess) and then quickly replaces it. Having worked in the service industry myself I can tell you this man observes and acts accordingly with SERVICE on top of his mind at all times. Having said that, unless you have specific questions and in need of special help their English is quite sufficient. The room we had for 4 persons is quite small, but if you don't go there for staying at the room it's sufficient. The city center is a 10 min walk, which is quite fine if you don't mind walking uphill back from the harbour area. Also worth saying this is our fav town around the Garda lake.
Hotel pulito e proprietari molto cordiali e affabili
Recommendable
Nice place and well located. Owner is always present and willing to assist with everything.
Nice hotel with pool
We enjoyed our stay very much. Staff is very kind, helpful and welcoming. Coffee is very good quality. Breakfast is fresh (local tomato would have been nice). Pool is great.
Gutes Hotel
Buona posizione
