Good but service no friendly people

This beautiful hotel in the middle of Venice was a gem! Close to the train station. We were able to walk to all the important features of Venice from the hotel. We happened to walk upon a beautiful courtyard (there are many!) and we enjoyed dinner there every night of our stay.

I had experienced the worst welcoming at the reception by the manager Katerina. I have tried 20 countries with hotels, BnB, Air bnb, but never had been treated like this. I chose this hotel because of the good reviews. When I was getting our room card and tried to get an extra one for my parents, she said later because she needs to talk to her staff. Later on, I went out again so that we can get it sort out before going out for sight seeing. She said not right now and send me away again. This is ridiculous when this is your job to serve your guests and answer customers questions. I talked to her politely the whole time even asked if she's okay and how was she doing. I did not come all the way from Canada for this attitude and rude welcoming need not to mention my parents came all the way from Hong Kong. I do not need any compensation but request an apology from the manger Katerina in person.

The weather had cooled off upon arrival in Venice, when that happens, they are not allowed to run the AC. The staff immediately offered a fan upon checking in. Accommodating and knowledgeable.

It was a lovely hotel. A 10/15 minute walk from main tourist attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Didn’t receive any VIP benefit which was disappointing but still a good place to stay.

Excellent hotel in a great location, easily accessed from the nearby water bus stop San Stae. There are some useful shops and cafes in the local area as well as the natural history museum right next door. The staff were very friendly and we were lucky to have our room upgraded to a suite which was fantastic. We would happily stay here again in the future.

Loved the location of this hotel!! Very clean, breakfast good. Staff was very friendly. Convenient to all the tourist sights but in a quiet area. Very good restaurants close by. Would definitely stay here again. The only suggestion to the hotel I would make is better pillows and add robes in the room!

We stayed in the apt. at this hotel. Plus, was the space! we had a small kitchen, living room, spacious bathroom and nice bedroom. Minus, it is NOT attached to the hotel but a small walk 5 doors down. The apt has OLD SCHOOL keys for 2 doors which is a pain to carry. Lets upgrade to key pads folks! (if allowed). So now coming down from your room for a night cap or in slippers for a quick expresso. The staff was AMAZING! They also make their own prosecco which was delicious. The neighborhood and location are great. very quiet and about 8 minutes to the train depot.

Quiet, convenient location. "Double" beds were more like American king size. Bathroom had a bathtub and bidet. Easy arrival, friendly service. So convenient to have breakfast in the hotel.

We loved the neighborhood this hotel was located in. The restaurants nearby were fantastic & short walk to everything we wanted to see.

We took a water taxi from the airport and our stop was conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area with restaurants located nearby. San Marco and the Rialto Bridge are about 20 minute walk at a leisurely pace. We loved staying away from the crowds. Everyone on the staff was lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were good.

We stayed five nights at this lovely hotel which was situated in a very quiet location. Very spacious rooms, good air conditioning, very comfortable and kept very clean on a daily basis by housekeeping. The hotel was situated within close access to the water taxi if required, the local water bus was approximately a three minute walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful especially at breakfast. A very pleasant gentleman covered the late Night Shift who was most helpful. We fully recommend this hotel for a pleasant and comfortable stay in Venice.

This was a very cute and comfortable hotel right in a sweet and quaint neighborhood. Space was just a bit tight, but the bed was comfy, and the windows opened into a courtyard.

Everything was perfect. We arrived very late at night and the staff member who treated us was very helpful. The only critique is that the shower did let a lot of water onto the floor which was fine for us as we were only there one night but if there for longer it may have meant the mats didn’t dry. But the apartment was very spacious with everything you could need.

No staff around when we need . My friend is 74 years of ages we have to care our luggage from 2nd floor then walk to stair to 3rd floor. The day we check out we have to dragged out luggage from 3rd floor each step down to second floor to use elevator by accident she was falling from second step down and hit her head to the Conner front the room 206 …

The sheets didn't smell clean.

Okay hotell, most of the staff was friendly, however one of the staff informed me that my time during breakfast was over and I had to leave the table, thats kinda rude

Beautiful hotel but, air conditioning was not working properly. It was quite hot in the room, even at night. Many complaints from other guests. If they would rectify this problem, we would return, as it was in a very convenient area.

Very kind staff. We needed to check-out early and asked if we can have breakfast earlier. We were able to eat as early as 7:10 am vs the usual 8 pm. Very accommodating. Beautiful room for great price. Convenient placement near s. Lucia train station. About 22 min walk to san marco.

Nice location in north Venice! Mostly easy to get to (Venice is like a maze) and very easy to check in, out, breakfast, etc. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

This property was a stunning stay, a quiet location but walkable to the sites. Water taxi stop only minutes away. Staff were friendly even when we had a late check in. We travelled with two 10 year olds and the hotel was quiet but suitable for slightly older children. Would recommend as was a traditional and beautiful Venetian hotel.

Nice option that was satisfactory

We stayed in the apartment unit. It was a great size for two people and large for Europe standards. The bathroom is excellent with double sinks and a great shower set up with lots of hot water. The air condition worked fine for a hot July. The location worked well and was quite, yet close to plenty of good restaurants and a 15 min walk to the train station. The only negative was they only provide two paper thin pillows for the bed. That’s an easy and cheap upgrade they should consider making. Also, the staff was very friendly.

It was somewhere to sleep for the night. The front desk lady snapped at an old lady for having a snack in the lounge, which she thought was included with her stay. The shower had small humidity flies everywhere. The “queen” bed was 2 twin beds stuck together, it was very uncomfortable.

The hotel it self is clean,staff are very helpful on asking questions. Area is very convinient to the tourist site. I would recommend and come back again.Price is worth it.You just have to use google map on everytime you comeback to the hotel because you might got lost 😉

The hotel is nice. Like everything in Venice, it is old, but it is well taken care of. Our room was enough size for two adults and two children and the bathroom was large and seemed fairly new. The location is excellent for walking around Venice, and is a short walk from the train station. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A beautiful hotel on a quiet, back street, the 500+ year old building was converted to an inn 15 years ago. Everything was great, but the pillows were super flat. They need to be replaced. The front desk staff were great! Breakfast was good, nothing to rave about. The patisserie in the nearby square is though!

Room was very nice. Hotel staff helpful. Walkable to all main sites. A little bit of a haul with bags because of Italian terrain, but would recommend.

Nice hotel and great value. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel does offer some side trips for a fee. Slightly disappointed to find room with “queen bed” and two twin beds is actually a sofa bed with two twin beds. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. Also, a fair amount of noise can be heard from people walking around on level above. Otherwise, a nice hotel and I would stay there again.

The room was clean. The room was big and roomy. There is also a kitchen if you like to cook. The hostess was very nice and friendly. He explained clearly and showed us directions of the area. Only thing is it is located about 0.5 mile from main tourist area. I don’t mind the walk myself.

This hotel is located a short walking distance from St. Mark’s Square. It’s quiet and easy to get to. The breakfast was tasty and included. Staff members were pleasant. I’d stay here again and I highly recommend it.

The hotel was serviceable. The bed was very very hard. And the bathroom was tiny with terrible lighting. In fact the room needs better lighting all around. Staff was not super helpful but it worked for one night. I probably would not stay here again.

Our stay here was great. The room was as expected based on the pictures. It was nice and quiet at night time and easy to walk to from the train station. The breakfast was fantastic, a great range and one of the better ones I have had. I would recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to stay somewhere quiet and is ok walking a little bit to the main sites (or catching a water taxi).
