Great location, nice room clean and great condition, staff very good and a superb breakfast. The only detractor was the ridiculously small TV for a room that size it's was also behind glass so lights need to be off to see the screen for the reflections, but would definitely stay again.

We loved this hotel. From the decor to the history of the building. And breakfast was fantastic!

The hotel is located in an area where there are many restaurants, shops and in a short walkable distance to main attractions. It was difficult to find it first time tho. Breakfast was great and so are the stuff. You can’t have iron in the room so pack wisely 😊

The complete breakfast buffet each day was incredible! This hidden gem was wonderful. Staff was helpful, many good recommendations. Room was more than adequate.

Hotel Al Codega is an excellent hotel that we highly recomend. The breakfast is amazing. The staff are friendly. The room is comfortable with great AC and very clean. Also the location is really good. Less than 10 minutes to the Rialto bridge and main square.

Had an absolutely amazing time at Hotel Al Codega! The staff are very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Only suggestion for improvement would be to put out a sign for the Hotel in the ally close to the Hotel as it was a bit tricky to find it. Location however is superb, close to Rialto and Sam Marco Piazza. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel, in an isolated courtyard, in a great position in Venice. Less than 10 minutes walk to St. Mark's square, as well as the Rialto and central to much else. Finding it is a bit of maze though. That said, very nice and helpful staff. Room wasn't huge but functional and practical. Good airconditioning and wifi. Room included a work desk. Breakfast was very nice, with multiple hot and cold options, including options to have certain items cooked to order.

Property is good, access to the property is not good, as a tourist, in Venice especially a problem, as knowing the place will be difficult too many wholes in the walls making it "ways or roads" .... anyway you have to be soooooo patient to find your way around

The hotel is very near ( 5 minutes) to San Marcos Square and all the shops. The rooms are clean, made services daily, and there are even slippers in the bathroom.

A quaint hotel with wonderful breakfast.

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The reception desk staff when we checked in was a bit stand offish. The elevator is very tiny. The room size is ok for European standards. The throw rugs are beautiful Persian style but pose tripping risks. The bathroom is roomy but can use more counter space or hooks. The shower floor was a bit slippery. But the gem of this quaint hotel is the delicious breakfast which was included in our price; with a giant spread of a variety of eggs and meats, cereal, pastries (yummy), juices, coffee and tea. I enjoyed my stay.

the location is "interesting" as you access it thru some very questionable alleys, but Venice is filled with them so you adjust. Issue was bed bugs, and mosquitos. We only confirmed the bed bugs after we left so we did not get a chance to see how the hotel would deal with the issue.

A very pleasant stay in the heart of Venice. Stayed in the single room which was very adequate for solo travellers. Facilities were clean. There was also a lift (rare in Venice) so moving of luggages was not an issue. Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel’s breakfast served daily from 7.30-10.30 am - it had a spread with buffet items (sandwiches, cereal, breads, cold cuts, hot food, juice) and off the menu items (waffles, pancakes, shakes). Some selections also changed each day. Only downside was that the WiFi was a little spotty at times, and the rain shower head fell apart on the first night. Nevertheless, all was made well with the professionalism and courtesy of the staff - my shout out goes to the breakfast wait staff, who after 3 days knew my morning coffee choice without needing to ask. All in all, a great time at Hotel Al Codega.

Hotel Al Codega is tucked away in a quiet courtyard centrally located between St Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge. It is an easy 5 minute walk to both. The convenience of the hotel is great. It also has a great breakfast, not just eggs, cereal, and other basics but also waffles to order and some daily special dishes. My room was small but clean and nice decor. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

The staff were lovely. Always kind and accommodating, quick with cleaning and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed for new year and it was a great experience. Very close to San Marco Square and other key attractions.

We had a lovely, albeit short stay, at the hotel. Wish we’d booked a few nights there. The hotel is quaint, charming and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. We needed to figure out how to get to the airport the following morning and they printed out the information to help us get there. Hopefully, we’ll be back to Venice and if we are, we’ll stay at the hotel again. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Affordable luxury

Our suite looked like a cardinal’s bedroom. Practically luxurious! The breakfasts, which come with the hotel, stay not charged extra, were fantastic. The service was exquisite. The location was perfect for almost anything you would want to see in Venice I can be quite hard on hotels, but this place ranks among the best.

This was our first visits to Venice and we wanted to be close to everything. Hotel Al Codega was just a few minutes walk from all the main attractions. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful throughout and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, such a varied choice and all really fresh and of good quality. We would highly recommend this hotel.

A little challenge to find the place, but once I got past that it was excellent! Quiet and convenient. The breakfast was outstanding. I would have stayed longer if I could just for the breakfast!

Excellent position for the main sights of Venice. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful, clean hotel hidden from the crowds. Good buffet breakfast catering for all tastes. Can leave luggage after check out which is helpful but could do with a more secure area for this rather than just by reception. Overall a good hotel, would recommend and would stay again if we were back in Venice.

It’s an amazing hotel very close to everything you might want to do in Venice! Perfect front desk staff and unbelievable breakfast! Air conditioning was the best I’ve ever experienced in all my European travels!

Great find

The hotel was lovely. The people were all very friendly and helpful, they recommended a restaurant which we loved, and the breakfast was actually stunning in the presentation, with an excellent selection of anything one might want. Really impressed. The only drawback if I can find any is that the room is a bit dark because the windows are small, but it's Venice, you can't rebuild it!! Loved it, and would definitely stay again.

It was tricky to find the property for the first time but then on it was ok. The history of the property was good to know. Really good breakfast.

It was nice a quiet, away from the shops. Very clean, and my room was nice. Didn't like that it was hard to see out the window with the curtains, and the wi-fi, faded in and out.
