Low quality and lack care and hospitality

Front desk was not mean but not welcoming. Everything here is cheap and not much effort is put into anything. Construction during the day as well. Asked for hair dryer and front desk said come get it and hung up. Then when I got it he seemed made that he had to grab it from another spot.

Beautiful property in heart of Barcelona. Beautiful European interior design. Will stay again and recommend.

I was charged a pet fee for my support dog which has been the only hotel to charge a fee in Barcelona as well as any of my travels through Germany, Switzerland, or France. I did explain to the gentleman checking me in how she's a support dog. I just paid the fee to avoid confrontation as he should know his hotels policies better than me. Still troubling though that's the policy. Other then that enjoyable stay, nice room, the gym was... It had some things... It was useable.

Nice clean hotel in a perfect location to walk and walk.

Dated, noisy and uncomfortable

For the price they charge this hotel is not great. We stayed in a family room, the room is certainly in need of a upgrade, chipped doors, scuffed floor vinyl, peeling wallpaper. I can forgive that it’s a busy hotel so things get worn, but the beds were creaky and mattresses not very comfortable. The bedding had pulls and little holes from use. The worst thing is that the walls seem to be paper thin with no, and I mean no sound insulation between rooms and floors. Awoken at 7am with the loud American chatting in the room next door, nighttime arrivals or bags being wheeled down the corridor. You can even hear chairs being dragged on the floor in the breakfast room downstairs. If you like a quiet room this hotel is not for you or pack your earplugs.

The hotel has a good location and overall okay facilities but I booked a double room and was assigned a room with two twin beds in no way attached to each other, so they kept sliding away from each other creating a gap. The mattresses and pillows were also very uncomfortable.

Great location. Close to Paseo de Gracia. Beds are okay. I did not like that the shower is half covered with glass and the other half open. It made it difficult to shower without water coming out of the shower area. I'd recommend you bring a makeup mirror with lights.

Convenience, close to attractions. Walls not sound proof. Expedia says $9.99 for breakfast and hotel says &15.00 Customer service absolutely no good.

Quaint place with excellent breakfast!

Room was very aesthetically pleasing. Beds were hard as a rock, pillows were very flat. There was a lot of mold in the bathroom. Front desk staff were very nice on arrival. There isn’t any insulation in the walls so it’s very noisy when you have others in rooms by you.

This is my 2nd stay at this property and love the proximity to nice shops,dining and excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

We checked in early which was great but when we arrived in the room which was for wheelchairs it was so small we couldn't move so we decided to leave.

Good but further from Sagrada Familla than reporte

Place if fine and an appropriate price. It is much further from Sagrada Familla than described. Need a cab. The TV has no stations in English.

Ideal stop in central Barcelona.

Great rate for a 3* in a central location. Initial welcome not the greatest, but thereafter all good. Buffet breakfast very reasonable too.

We liked the location of the hotel, it seemed convenient and easy to get to our destinations. We had to request service on the toilet twice - it was not fixed the first time, so that was an inconvenience. Our room was comfortable and we had plenty of space - we especially liked the big bathroom counter space. We got the king bed which was very comfortable.

Property has a perfect location in Eixample and is nice, however the rooms are too small and narrow for 3 people. Very crowded for 3 we had when we booked a double with extra bed. There is no room to move around. Also the balcony or window opens inward, so we could not open the balcony because the extra bed blocked our ability to do so. If it is just a couple, then maybe adequate, but room seemed small even for 2 people. Otherwise good.

Nice room, miserable staff.

Really nice room, cleaning staff were great, however the WiFi rarely worked, the fridge was broken and the reception staff were some.of the most miserable human beings I've ever encountered in my life. They were something Akin to the dementors out of Harry potter, however they just suck all the joy and wonderment out of you, and have slightly better teeth

Excellent hotel and location!

Great hotel in a good location. Breakfast was simple but good. We had a room with a small Balcony to sit on (rear facing) and that made a big difference to our stay.

If only it included breakfast it would have been perfect. But to charge almost 10€ per person just doesnt make sense at all. We went for breakfast every day at a different coffee shop nearby and spent 10€ for all 4 people including fresh orange juice and espresso coffe and delicious pastries. To be paying enough money for a hotel room only to have to pay extra for breakfast makes no sense and it’s perceived as an ugly sign from the hotel. But, could be solved by getting breakfast elsewhere which I totally recommend. Hopefully the hotel will review their “pay extra for breakfast “ policy. If not, don’t pay that much and walk around there’s so much to choose from! Hotel was super quiet and clean. Truly enjoyed the stay (family room)

Fantastic location! My room was on the first floor and near the breakfast area so it was a little noisy, but I would imagine a room on a higher floor would be better. Bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and it was a good price.

Modern Barcelona hotel in great area

This property is a little way out from the tourist areas, which is just what we wanted and close to nice residential area restaurants, bars and cafes, but would be less convenient if you mainly want to see the Gothic town/beach/harbour etc

Great place in a great location. Room spacious and comfortable, bathroom good size but I saw a couple of hairs that weren't mine. The staff were friendly. The view was great from my room, I could see the back of casa mila with its chimneys.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area of Barcelona, with easy access to shopping and sights. It is right off the main shopping boulevard. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly.

Amazing location, great service

This was my second trip to Barcelona and I chose to stay here again because I loved it so much the first time. Amazing location! Walkable to so many things, great service and great rooms.

Excellent location

I booked my trip last minute and was so pleased with my pick. It was the most perfect location to everything...very clean and cute. The front person also helped me with giving me a converter for my charger, I thought the rooms would have converters, but thank God he had one for me, saved me. I'll def. Be back

Boutique hotel very close to Passeig de Gracia

I traveled to Barcelona and stayed in hotel Actual with my family during May2017. This boutique hotel quite met our expectations with its location and hotel facilities. The checkout time is at noon which suits with our schedule. Moreover, the room we stayed can accommodate 3-4 people which is perfect for family.

Shower not clean enough

The hotel overral is good ! The location is amazing . But we had a bad experience as there was water coming down from the shower above our room . I am not saying dropping I am saying a lot if water . The first time I told the reception when we came back later on they offered us another room , but I was not going to change rooms at 1.30am . Very early in the morning it happened again , woke us up and they knocked the door a lot to tell us that there was no power on the whole floor ! I mean I know they offered us another room but we will be without power anyway as it was on the same floor and I think they should have offered us another room in the first day and that I report the water coming down .

Great location

Great location, around the corner from Gaudís Casa Milá (La Pedrera). Room is small, but that is to be expected in this area. Nice and helpful staff. Very convenient metro (Diagonal), but we were able to walk to most attractions. Also nearby train station on Passeig de Gracia.

The hotel was in a fantastic location! Lots of shopping and restaurants very close by, made it very easy to get around Barcelona.

Little gem in a great neighborhood

Nice smaller hotel. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Enjoyed the breakfast with the endless cup of coffee/lattes at a good price. Room walls were thin to room next door but was hardly in the room. Great neighborhood.
